Mother's Day Based Headcanons Because Why Not?

The British Isles Siblings all get together and go to the little memorial they set up for their mother and leave little gifts. It's one of the only times they will definitely not break out into fighting

Arthur's kids actually all get Niamh gifts for mother's day because she's the closest they have to a mother. Even Peter has started to give Niamh a little gift each year (Ber helps him carve her something)

Niamh doesn't think she deserves these gifts. She never really saw herself as mom despite how she would help Dylan raise Arthur and Allie and later on played a role in Arthur's kids' lives. She never was a stereotypical maternal figure (she is much like her own mother in that sense, though I think she got a bit closer to it than Britannia). If anything, Dylan fit that role, not her.

In a similar vein, Feli and Ludwig get Erzsébet something because again, she's the closest either of them had to a mother-figure. Ludwig probably gets her flowers and Feli may paint her something.

Oooh! Also Kugel making something for Erzse because he's practically Rod's child and I love the idea of AusHun getting back together for real this time and not politics. Erzse is really touched the first time Kugel does it because she was not at all expecting it despite having become very involved in Kugel's life.

Ned and Lux getting Emma a little something. Though not their mother and Ned actually being the eldest (he's the eldest right?), they (especially Lux) think she deserves some appreciation.

prussia x hungary: OTP <3... one of my first ships, potential childhood friends to lovers (or not), could be one-sided :D, femdom, etc. they are bickering constantly even this day in canon lol, i love them both so much. also i never have a solified hc for erszi, i like thinking her as gnc, queer, both... does any of this mean i think they can work? lol, lmao (maybe). better luck in human aus...! well tbh this is how i interpret all nationverse ships, woops. bound to eventual tragedies, everything is temporary, unable to achieve something akin to normality--not knowing what is like either, ever. not like them can not give it a try while it last! they can always start over again!

prussia x austria: their personalities clash 👍. i am a bit picky about them tho, more than with other ships (their personalities clash 👎)... i like when people make rode dominant 😍. an enemies to lovers ship, it can have similar vibes to other similar heta ships, with their own twist from their own oppositive dispositions.

honorable mention of pruliet/lietpru: personally (or how i'd work around it), i like it as gil developing some feelings that will never ever be corresponded :))), that's what he gets after making liet hate him. despite of that i love what the fandom do with both!

prussia x russia: can't work; looks damn well. i like russia having a crush on prussia who, no matter what, can't quite like him back (at least that's how gil will act!), even if they get to friendly terms and are both menacing together (important point; but i also think that's always short lived). ivan unable to have normal relations in equal terms, something that plagues any of his relationships... otoh, prussia/russia (that order) it's great 👀, i love vanya!!! 💕. toxic :3! toxic overall, but i prefer gilbert *not* completely crushed down, if you know what i mean. tagged mainly with the japanese side of the fandom tag (ユキウサギ), translated--could switch to the romaji (yukiusagi)

germany x prussia: in that order! one-sided! most of the time i prefer them just as bros (germany&prussia), except when i like to entertain the idea of germany being a little tiny bit weird about his big bro :), big bro who behaves as a proud mom which can be off-putting to humans who know them (expect them to act like maNnly siblings in their twenties so they are ??????). of course i don't mind shippers that play with them the other way around--it just makes me a bit uncomfortable (do what makes you happy: you're doing great!!). germancest it's hetalia's thorki (also i prefer them as just siblings lmao). tldr psychodrama potencial, when the story needs to be unsettling...

germany x russia (in that order): i never think too hard about this one. mmm, let ivan be pampered here? lud its a caring person (perhaps overcompensating for this case tho...). this ship doesn't seems (way too) imbalanced either, compared to other russia ships, without being rusame that has fruk vibes and vice versa (hope that makes sense lmaooo). its literally 2 tough guys that have a soft side.

america x germany (in that order): could be a thing... fuck buddies? can't see them as lovers... can't see america as anybody lover.

Hello

I’ve had this account for a while now, but I’m finally done with high school and have decided to be more active on here.

My name is Hania and I have virtually zero artistic talent of any kind so this blog will mostly consist of reblogged posts and memes and an occasional headcannon. My current obsession is Hetalia and so this will be the main focus of this platform.

Generally I tend to focus on the platonic and familial relationships between the characters since I’m not that big on romantic relationships, although I do ship a few couples. Actually the only ship that I always see together is FrUK, although I enjoy other ships like DenNor, SpaBel or AusHun and generally any relationship with a kid in the picture.

That being said there are a few ships that I don’t accept, those being relationships between what I perceive to be family members. I believe in the “ship and let ship” rule however i personally don’t want anything to do with them.

My favorite Hetalia character is America and I especially love his relationship with England and the FACE family dynamic in general. Other relationships i headcanon to be strictly platonic are: Anko family, Spain and Romano, the German brothers and the Italy brothers and probably more that I can’t remember right now.

Also since I’m a huge math and physics nerd I will also be reblogging some memes related to that.

Lastly, since this post is getting long, English is not my first language and so please excuse any mistakes. My anon asks are on so feel free to send me some, I’d love to chat, be it privately or not and about any topic.

Oh I love AusHun and I was super excited when I got this request! I didn't plan this but it's the perfect opportunity to write something birthday related ;) so here's what happens when the kid's asleep..

"I have to admit, today was a very pleasant surprise," Austria reminisced as he closed the door to Kugelmugels bedroom behind him. Hungary had been waiting outside and judging by the curious glint in her eyes, she was still up to something.

"Is he..?" Hungary motioned a sleeping position and Austria nodded.

"Fast asleep, and rightfully so. He really outdid himself today."

Hungary entwined their fingers as they walked down the hallway to the bedroom they shared.

"He had been practicing for months to play you a birthday concert. I'm happy you had fun, but.. the day is not over yet."

Austria raised his brow and gave Hungary a surprised look. "Oh?"

"Yes!" With a bright smile lighting up her face, Hungary turned to Austria, blocking the door to their bedroom right behind her. "I've also been practicing something, especially for your birthday." A kiss on his cheek and a whisper into his ear had Austria shivering. "Happy Birthday."

With a chuckle she opened the door to lead Austria inside. The spacious bedroom was only illuminated by dozens of candles, the flames flickering as if they were dancing to the slow music that filled the room. Austria took a look around. Everything seemed so warm and welcoming, this is what Hungary must have been up to while he had tucked Kugelmugel in for the night.

"Here!" A tug on his hand pulled Austria from his thoughts and Hungary led him to a chair in the middle of the room. Did she bring it from the dining room? "This is your first row seat."

Austria frowned when Hungary pushed him to sit on the simple dining chair instead of the cosy armchair that had apparently been moved to the corner of the room for tonight. He opened his mouth to protest but was quickly cut off.

"No, no, no. Don't say anything. Oh, and you might want to take this off." Hungary quickly slipped behind him, assisting in taking off Austria's coat, leaving him a little confused in his crisp, white dress shirt. She quickly went to discard the coat onto the armchair and turned the volume of the music up a notch before stepping back in front of Austria who had been following her every move.

It only now dawned to him that she must have gotten changed earlier as well, instead of her usual attire she was already in the bath robe she usually wore before going to bed. But what caught him off guard were the little stilettos. Austria couldn't help the corner of his lip turning into a whimsical smile.

"Are you going to tell me-"

"Shhh." Hungary pressed one finger to her lips. "We can talk later. Just sit back and let me give you a show."

A light blush graced Hungary's cheeks when she noticed Austria watching her with hands folded neatly on his lap. She closed her eyes for a moment and took a deep breath. Okay, let's do this, you practiced too hard to chicken out now, she reprimanded herself.

Her eyes opened again and she started swaying her hips to the slow rhythm of the music, quickly getting a feeling of it. The way she moved was captivating and Austria couldn't help but watch her in awe.

A kiss sent in his direction, pulling the bathrobe up to reveal more of her legs that seemed even longer in the stilettos, a wink at him and Hungary noticed Austria clutching his hands together tightly.

She turned around, letting the robe glide down her shoulder to reveal a lace seamed strap, belonging to the new set of lingerie she had picked out for the occasion. Austria gasped at the revelation. Of course she knew he would love to see her dressed in red.

"Oh, Hungary.. You- you shouldn't have-"

"Shhhh..." She gave him a quick look over her shoulder, once again motioning for him to stop talking. "Don't worry about it, Mr. Austria."

The nickname accompanied by another wink left Austria's throat dry. She only addressed him with a title anymore when it was a night like this. He gulped when she turned around, bathrobe still pulled up enough to save her modesty but far enough down her shoulders to give a fair image of what else was hidden beneath the thin fabric.

With calculated steps she made her way over to him, slowly untying the bathrobe, but before he could get a good look at her she was at his side, turning his head forwards, drawing a whining noise from Austria. Hungary ran one hand along his shoulder while circling the chair, swiftly slipping out of the robe when she was out of Austria's sight.

When she was back in front of him, Austria couldn't help but stare at her. The room was dark with only the candles illuminating it, but Hungary outshone all of them. Her skin glistening under the warm, flickering light, her curves perfectly accentuated by red lace, leaving little to the imagination but still teasing about the parts that were hidden beneath it.

"M-Miss Hungary..."

She quickly leaned forward, propping her hands on Austria's thighs and capturing his lips in a slow, gentle kiss, coaxing him into opening his mouth for her to slip her tongue inside.

Austria hummed softly into the kiss. He lifted his hand to slip it around her neck, but before he got there she pulled away, leaving him breathless. He wanted to protest, but in the next moment she was sitting in his lap, legs on either side of his.

Hungary's hands found his shoulders, massaging them without caring about crumpling his dress shirt. She used the hold she had on him to support her movements, grinding along his thighs, her boobs ending up pressed to his chest.

Austria took a shuddering breath and gradually moved his hands to touch her thighs, but Hungary quickly took a hold of his wrists, pulling his hands to the back of the chair.

"No, touching." She pressed a cheeky kiss to his cheek that turned into a trail down his neck. "Not yet."

Austria nodded curtly and gripped the back of the chair to keep himself from ravishing every part of her perfect body.

"Good." Hungary propped her arms on his shoulders again, caressing the nape of his neck and carding her fingers through his hair. She rolled her hips again, pert ass grinding into Austria's lap, lace-clad boobs on perfect display. The fact that he could hardly keep his eyes up and his hands to himself only spurred her on even more.

With a smirk on her lips she moved her hips again, pressing her entire body even closer to Austria's. He met her with a buck of his hips and a weak moan, still gripping the back of the chair to keep himself at least somewhat together. Hungary giggled.

She could feel his hardness pressed against her, but there were way too many clothes between them than to make the friction satisfying. Her hands slowly found their way down from Austria's shoulders to his torso and to his side where she took his hands in his.

"I could need some help with this..."

Austria bit his lip so as to not give her the whimpering noises he knew she would like to hear from him. Instead, he let her guide his hands to her back and started to undo the clasps of the bustier as he was asked to.

Meanwhile Hungary fondled with the fly of his pants, making Austria's breath stutter and his hands shake. She felt him carefully guide the straps down her shoulders when the bustier was undone. His breathing got heavier with every inch of skin that was uncovered.

Before the bustier was completely removed, Hungary kissed him again. Gently at first, but Austria was quick to return the kiss with the same passion she brought into it. Lips were bitten, teeth clacking, moans swallowed. Hungary broke the kiss quite suddenly, looking warily into Austria's hungry eyes. They were starving for each other.

"Mr. Austria..." Hungary's voice was hoarse, breathless, as she leaned in for another kiss, but stopped right before their lips met. "Please.. touch me."

The words had hardly left her lips before she felt Austria's hands already roaming her thighs.

Not really a headcanon but something I’ve been thinking about and that I might write about one day: I think Canada and Kugelmugel would get along really well. Maybe they meet because uncle prussia is hanging out with his special friend ;) when aushun need a babysitter or sth.. but I think Canada would really like Kugelmugel and vice versa.

hmm, the first one that comes to my mind is aushun! erzsi and katya are of course really good friends so I could imagine them and their bfs double-dating a lot. roderich and matthew would probably get along fine as well with their similar quiet, introverted personalities, and would become good friends probably just bc they end up together a lot lmao.

LOL but that’s just my theme song for them—for matthew and katya themselves, well, I hc matthew to be a big avril lavigne fan, and I can just imagine "things I'll never say" and "naked" reminding him of katya :) as for katya, maybe the song "solovey" by go_a reminds her of matt!

66: What are their parenting styles?

ooo good question! first off, matthew is a bit more lax than katya and not as overprotective as her. he never had to take care of anybody from a very young age like katya did with her siblings, so he doesn’t worry about them quite as much as katya (unless the kid is sick or hurt or something. then, oh boy, does he worry a lot). if anything, katya’s worry would rub off on him lol. matthew is also a bit more of a softie than katya and is more willing to let small things with his children go, whereas katya would probably be the type of parent to overreact in most situations ngl.

however, besides that, they would manage to find a balance with parenting. also, they’re both extremely nice, caring parents and will always make sure you’re happy and that your tummy is full lol.

87: Who does stuff on impulse?

hmm, that’s a hard question bc I see them both as being the type to plan things out pretty meticulously. I would say though, out of the two of them, matthew would be more likely to do stuff on impulse, like impulse buying. this also stems from their backgrounds, with matthew pretty much always having someone who took care of him and never having much financial issues growing up, while katya always had to act as the mother and had to struggle a lot for even simple things. matthew isn’t wild with his impulse spending, of course, as he’s very aware that it’s bad nonetheless, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t picks up an extra case of maple syrup and sweet treats every once in a while at the store :’)

94: Who accidental sets something on fire?

again, out of the two of them, it would probably be katya lol. she can be a bit clumsy sometimes, more than matthew, and idk, that’s just the only situation I could think of where she’d accidentally set something on fire :’) I also saw this hc once where she’ll often accidentally fall asleep, on a couch or a chair or something, bc she doesn’t get much sleep during the night, soooo yeah, that could potentially lead to an accidental fire as well :’)

1-5: negative possible incest out of 5 (quote my friend Lemon)

Do I ship it?: I’d rather get a booster shoot, thanks.

General Feelings: I can’t ship ships when one character raised the other, even if it’s an au where it didn’t happen, knowing that England is a caretaker to him in that way just kills it for me. There’s no way to make having a crush on someone you raised, distant or not, not be weird. No matter what that’s going to come off creepy. Doesn’t even matter if they’re blood related or anything. It’s still the idea of one nation being an adult while the other raised them since they were a little kid. It gives me the same vibe as dating your childhood babysitter. If you want this dynamic, why not try PruEng, DenEng or PortEng, same sunshine x raincloud aesthetic with 0% creepy under tones.

TLDR: You’re just in it for the Cute Jock x Angry Nerd dynamic and it shows.

2. GerIta (Ive already talked about.)

TLDR: If fandom ships were ice cream, GerIta would be vanilla. It’s a base line, it’s fine as it is and some people hate it for that exact reason. I like vanilla, it’s alright.

Do I ship it?: I’d rather not, thanks.

General Feelings: I just never liked spamano, again the Angry x Sunshine (which isnt what Romano is, but it’s how it’s often written) isn’t really fun to me? I used to hate it cause I don’t like tsundere’s in writing style cause I personally cannot understand them. Like my brain does not register well with aggressive insults being seen as compliments because it’s from X person. But that’s just me, I don’t do that shit I think “tsundere” needs to die. But that’s beside the point.

I don’t like it now for two reasons. One because of the same thing I said with USUK, I’m not comfortable with shipping pairs where one raised the other, no matter what it’s gonna be weird dynamic wise. Two is in my mind the merits of Spain as an older brother or father figure to Romano mean more than him as a love interest. It can create a lot of dynamics that are more fun both between Romano and Spain and Romano and his brother. It creates a situation where one is often in the position the other wanted. 

Vene having more money and general social support, but often having to play along in cherry high class situations which makes a lot of his relations, especially with Austria, feel kind of hallow. While Romano was more poor and seen as low class and crass, but he has much more honest and deep relationships with the small group of people he cares for. it creates situations where the brothers can envy one another and I dont know. I just like it better than leaving Romano with only something like Rome and letting Vene have Hungary and Austria.

TLDR: Let Romano have a father figure please he’s earned it.

6. PruAus

1-5: -2

Do I ship it?: No

General Feelings: If you like Prussia with someone slightly uptight and orderly, why not just use England instead? Their personalities work better together cause at least then he gets a partner that understands him being a feral punk gremlin. I’m biased in this regard I don’t like Austria as a character so take with a grain of salt. But I never cared for the dynamic. The only PruAus thing I ever liked with bubblyernie’s ask art school prussia blog, and that’s it. It feels like the rivalry dynamic but it doesn’t get to the fun part for me, but again I also get that I have a bias.

TLDR: Meh.

7. PruHun

1-5: 5

Do I ship it?: Y e s

General Feelings: I just like the idea of them being strong feral gremlins on horseback together. Powerful generals, good friends, just the idea of excited forest heathens on adventures. General Feelings: Nothing really to say on PruCan, I just see them as friends and ship them with other people. They’d be good gaming friends tho absolutely 110% catch those two raiding together. They’re gaming nerd buddies and I can respect that.

General Feelings: I really don’t. I just don’t like it. I know mainline ship but I just- Every time I want to talk about the Nordics it comes up. I’m not well versed in Nordics. But every single time I try to talk about Finland, or any of the nordics. BUT ESPECIALLY FINLAND, it devolves into how Sweden plays into it, or how SuFin plays into it. Like I cannot talk about Finland without him being treated as Sweden’s accessory and it infuriates me. Let Finland be his own god damn character and then maybe I’ll like SuFin cause he’s never given his time to shine without having it feed into someone else.

TLDR: Finland is no one’s wife, fuck off.

General Feelings: Again, I never knew much about the Nordics, but the basic of the ship when I first saw it was ‘haha Norway chokes Denmark with his tie what a tsun-tsun hur hur’, which makes me really uncomfortable... as someone who doesn’t vibe with abuse=romantic feelings. I like NorFin myself, and Denmark is a ball of sunshine. I don’t hate it but it’s not really good.

TLDR: Why was the tie choking thing seen as funny/romantic? Am I missing something??

General Feelings: While it’s not my immediate first pick romance wise, I thoroughly enjoy all the RusAme there is out there. If not lovers, I still see them as ride or die friends. Because they’re both freakishly strong I feel like they’re the only ones who can really cut loose and use their full strength on one another even in the most small ways and it means the world to them that they can do that. No holding back just full open honesty with each other. Also the fact that it’s canon that people think they hate each other and they’re just like ‘nah man we pals’ is fucking great.

I kinda wanted to hear about Austria-Hungary, more specifically how Aushun reacted to her death.

oh boy, and no your not, absolutely I can talk about Edith. I'm gonna put the whole thing under a cut bc major tw: for death, mentions of war, and people neglecting their own health because of guilt.

okay so, Edith Stafania Rosemarie Edelstein; she's the as you said representative of the Austro-Hungarian empire, she was born June 8th, 1867 making her 148 years younger than Liesl, 52 years younger than Ludwig, and 109 years older than Franz.

She's terribly stubborn and overdramatic, the second one especially when she's proven wrong; like no one likes being proven wrong but she'll be driven to full out fits over it. The stubborn one more pertains to when she decides something is true it must be true, there's no other way things can be. In her defense on both of those she was very small.

She started counting Ludwig as her best friend as soon as she was old enough to know what a best friend was, Ludwig thought it funny that his little cousin was so attached to him if anything. He called her 'Ditte' which is technically the Danish diminutive of the name but I thought it was cute so it stays.

Liesl as all older siblings do got annoyed by Edith more than most but also would have thrown herself in front of a movie vehicle for her; y'know as all older siblings would. There was a fairly large age gap in between them that made their relationship somewhat odd, Liesl was good at helping take care of Edith when she was a baby, but once Edith was old enough that she wanted to play with Liesl they didn't spend nearly as much time with each other because Liesl didn't want to play most of the games Edith did. (She would fairly often though indulge her little sister in playing castle and being the queen of said castle)

Edith was Roderich and Erzsébet's for lack of better term "miracle baby" (even though considering physical age the title would probably be more accurately applied to Franz) after they lost their second child they decided they still wanted more kids, and tried for a couple decades before giving up. Then when they made up and resumed their relationship in the mid 1860s in comparatively no time at all they were expecting Edith. So she was special, the only one of their kids that was planned and the only one that was born in wedlock (not that important now but this was the late 19th century so bit more important then); as much as they don't want to admit it their world revolved around Edith.

in 1918 she was eight years old, physically. She had been sick the whole war, that wasn't unusual. It didn't make it easier to bear, but they weren't that worried either. Until the end, unlike the last person in the family to pass--Heidi, Holy Rome--there was no gradual decline at the end. She was the same amount of sick she had been the whole war, no concern, she'll be on the mend any day now. Then one morning someone went to go check on her and she was dead.

as for their reactions; by the time Edith actually passed in September on 1919 Erzsébet had already gone back to Budapest and would find out about her daughters death through a far too cold and formal letter. This would happen on both sides but Erzsébet would blame herself a lot, way too much "if i had just stayed with him she could have survived, if I hadn't left, if-" ignoring the fact that their were a dozen reasons the empire crumbled. Her staying might have not changed anything. But she was convinced for a few years this was all her fault, it woukd effect her even years later when she would find out she was expecting Franz; her initial reaction would be to be terrified at the idea of having another child, because that brought about the possibility of losing another child.

Roderich blamed himself sure, but unlike Erzsébet he didn't stop there. It was everyone else's fault too, it was the ww1 Allies who killed his daughter. It was Vuk's fault for killing the archduke and setting off the war. It was Adéla and Evžen's fault for leaving the empire. He even blamed Gilbert and Ludwig at some point. It was everyones fault, her blood was on their hands as far as he was concerned. He buried his daughter because of everyone else's actions, not his own. It would take him years, decades even, to get over this mentality Victim theory. And when he finally would, it would have gathered a lot from both the world wars, and even some things before to the point that his entire belief system would crumble around him. The entire thing would be set off on Edith's Birthday.

as he did every year Roderich would walk himself down to the cemetery with some flowers and some new little trinket he thinks she would enjoy. And he has a conversation with his daughter, "good afternoon. Happy birthday Mäuschen; you're how old now? 120? impossible you were born just yesterday" starting in 1992 Erzsébet & Franz would join him. By 94' so would Liesl, and a year later so would Ludwig.

Roderich and Erzsébet spend a lot of time questioning what could have been done differently, what could have changed how everything turned out, if there could have been a way to save her. But sometimes, like on sunny days in June, they have to stop asking 'what if-' and just start remembering the happy little girl they had.

Aushun? You never talk about aushun? Now you have to give us aushun headcanons!

I do love them!! I just don’t talk about them too much :) and because I’m writing a lot of lawyer au stuff right now, this will also be based in my lawyer au cause I’m a self indulgent gal :)

The first time they met was when they went against eachother in a minor hit and run trial. Roderich won but Eliza couldn’t even be mad cause her client was in the wrong anyway

After the trial, Rod came over to introduce himself properly and chat cause even though they’re on opposite sides he’s still nice to defense attorneys! He chatted with her for awhile before his next trial and was actually a little nervous to be talking to her. He thought it was just pre-trial jitters

They worked together for a year and Eliza got tired of waiting for Rod to make the first move so she took initiative!! “You know, there’s a really nice cafe down the road from the courthouse. We should go some time” and just like that Roderich went from ‘cool and composed’ to a stuttering mess “Oh- Well...Yes uh- Yeah I would like that a lot”

After that first date they were together like all the time. Walks in the park, window shopping, movie marathons, they got along so well that they just truly enjoyed each other’s company

When he was out of the public eye, Rod was way more affectionate. He’d hold Eliza against his chest and rest his cheek on her head or hide his face in her neck when she said something nice about him “Oh stop it...”

Surprisingly, Roderich was the first to say ‘I love you’ and right after he said it he banged his head on a cabinet in the kitchen. It’s an inside joke between the two now :)

Eliza makes a lot of her own clothes and she’s so good at it!! I know I’ve talked about it before but I will say it again!! She makes ties and trousers and handkerchiefs for Roderich all the time! He loves them very much :’) he’s always impressed by how creative she is

Eliza had to teach Roderich how to clean, cook and sew when they started living together cause Rod was a rich kid who never had to do that stuff. He’s grateful that she taught him!! And she had a lot of fun showing him. He looked so funny with rubber gloves and an apron on while washing dishes. Eliza has plenty of pictures on her phone of him in his ‘cleaning attire’ lmao

^^Rod can bake though!! He can make one hell of a chocolate cake!! Eliza loves when he makes it!! :D

What annoys Eliza is that Rod sleeps like a rock BUT when his alarm goes off, he gets right up. She’ll sit there shaking his shoulder for 20 minutes like “get up!!!” But then his stupid phone goes off and he rolls over like “good morning. Did my alarm wake you??”

Eliza likes to try her wedding dress on every once in awhile and dance around in front of the mirror. It makes her feel like a princess :’) usually when she does it, she does it when she’s alone so she can reminisce but occasionally she’ll show Rod and he cries almost every time lol he’s just reminded of how special that day was and how much he loves his wife holy cow :’) he’s always ready to dance with her :’)

3.  You’ve got your OTP, you have to throw a third into the mix (from the same fandom), creating an OT3.  Who is the OTP, and in your opinion, why would they make a perfect third for them?

This got long, so I put the answer(s) under the cut, too, this time.  But just know that I go over Hetalia (AusHun), Escaflowne (Folken/Eries), TGFH (Raven/Ellen except...not really?), and Star Trek: TNG (Lore/Ishara)!

For Hetalia, I’d have to go with Spain/Austria/Hungary.  I know Frying Pangle is all the OT3 rage when it comes to AusHun, and while I can see the appeal and I do love me some Prussia, I’ll confess that I like to mix it up.  Austria’s relationship with Spain is far less abrasive (and their history far less hostile), and I feel Spain’s general mellowness would be a nice balance to Austria’s uptightness and Hungary’s boldness (and occasional brashness).  (In a PruAusHun situation, I feel that Hungary would end up playing mediator a lot, which just doesn’t seem fair to me!)

For Escaflowne, the OTP is Folken/Eries, and while Gaddes/Eries is a runner-up for Eries ships for me, I have a hard time seeing the three of them together?  Strangely enough, despite how I’m by no means an Allen/Eries fan, I might go with Allen here?  Keeping Folken in the mix somehow makes Allen/Eries more palatable to me, and I feel Folken and Allen have some potential for a real camaraderie/connection that could do them both some real good, once Allen got past any initial hostilities he might have.  (Alternatively, I might go with something completely off the wall like Celena.  I could see her relationship with Eries being strangely sweet, and she and Folken would have that weird, past Zaibach/trauma connection.  Those Schezar siblings--they have so many issues, but they’re both so attractive!  XD)

For This Gun For Hire (because there’s no denying that Raven/Ellen is one of my OTPs at this point, pfft), I...idk, have a really hard time seeing a third person enter the mix, to be honest.  I mean, it’s already a minor miracle that Raven is romantically interested in Ellen; the dude just strikes me as too antisocial and too asexual to make that sort of exception for someone else (especially since they wouldn’t have that all-too important history that he has with Ellen).  If for some reason Ellen wanted some sort of side-piece, though, I could see Raven being surprisingly okay with it--whatever makes her happy, yeah?

(In truth, though, the real TGFH OT3, compiled from my expanded universe OCs, might just be Millie, her dance partner Joseph, and Joseph’s currently-unnamed “roommate.”  Millie has definitely offered to beard for Joseph in the past, and has probably even been like, “Hey, if you ever decide you want kids, we can marry, have sex just enough times to get me pregnant, and then we’ll just have an open marriage.”  But it could be that Joseph’s boyfriend is actually bi, and I could see the three of them falling into this really comfortable (if unexpected) domesticity.  Unlike Ellen, Millie doesn’t really strike me as the sort to romantically/sexually settle down, but in such a non-traditional situation, I could see her vibing with it and maybe hooking up with the occasional dude on the side if they struck her fancy, lololol.)

For TNG and Lore/Ishara, I’m going to go with Q, because Q is perhaps the only other being who’s enough of a chaotic disaster to keep up with this trash couple.  XDDD  (I mean, an obvious choice might be Data, but let’s be real:  Lore is too much of a possessive dickhead and has too many brother issues to be comfortable with sharing.  Q is one of the very few beings Lore would have trouble murdering, and can also match both him and Ishara in the amoral asshole department.  The whole thing would be such a glorious trainwreck.)

The rise and fall of any mighty nation/empire fascinate me. Right now, my focus is outside Western Europe and the United States and in civilizations neglected in "world history" classes, i.e. the dynasties of Korea, pre-colonial African kingdoms, independence movements in South America, Nordic conflicts, and the Heian period in Japan. 

Plaid Noodles: How long does it usually take you to gather pictures to put in the video? And how long does it take on average to have any of your videos fully complete and ready to post?

Short answer: It depends. 

Long answer: It can take as short as a couple hours to a couple weeks to gather pictures to put in the video. I gather from various sources: talented artists on Tumblr, pins on Pinterest, zerochan, etc. Editing on Cyberlink PowerDirector takes about 6 hours, and I usually have to go and find more pictures after realizing I don't have enough while editing. More popular characters are easier to find, but I also seek to diversify my vids so that continues to be a struggle. Once I upload a vid to YouTube, I need to put a description and I usually like to put in captions, so that takes another 1-2 hours.

Warning: possibly unpopular opinion below. Don’t yell at me if you don’t like it.

TL;DR: A headcanon and my reasons why the hetalia countries (probably) won’t enter romantic relationships. Also has exceptions. I’m not very against shipping romantically, but I don’t really see the nations as loving one another, only being very close friends.

Anyway, I have a headcanon that, being nations, the Hetalia countries wouldn’t really enter into relationships at all***. Maybe they’ve loved someone or another nation in the past but I feel like it wouldn’t happen as they get older. They’ve all been through various conflicts, and most of the older ones (all the Allies and Axis and many others, probably any country that’s at least 200 years old) would have taken advantage of one another back in the day (ex. China and Britain and the Opium Wars). I see most of them as at least slightly manipulative and crafty, especially before modern day, no matter the country. At their core, countries have some sense of self-preservation, where they will do certain less-moral things to survive, including fighting any necessary wars or trying to make one-sided treaties and such. This leads, in my hc, to them being somewhat wary of other nation’s actions. When one of them suddenly starts acting friendly/flirty (in the long term) to their not-very-close acquaintance, they’d have to think: “Is/Are he/she/they just being nice/do they really love me, or do they want to get a piece of my economic growth/growing importance/global power?” Unless they’ve somehow NEVER fought and only had a mutual relationship of trade and prosperity and helping each other out, I feel like nations would be rather cautious when entering a “relationship” with each other. Even in modern day, when the worst that will happen is usually just a trade war or broken international relations, at most I think they’d be friendly bros or close friends or something. The only exception (maybe because of my personal bias) I can think of is Ancient Rome and China, because they grew on opposite sides of the world with little fighting between them and mostly long-distance trading, allowing a peaceful relationship without a lot of rocking the boat.

Additionally, most of the oldies know that things aren’t permanent. Boundaries will change, their people will change, and nations can and will disappear. They’ve probably all loved a human at some point and I feel like a lot of them might be cautious because of this too, because there’s a lot of risk involved with loving someone who might disappear before you. Additionally, a relationship that was going great might turn sour all of a sudden because of one rogue citizen or their leader’s schemes or whatnot, and that’s kinda hard to deal with when it might not even be their fault. Ig this isn’t really a good reason because I also see nations as sometimes saying “Whatever” and doing what their gut/heart says instead of what is logical, conservative, or ordered (which also means they might disrespect their leaders). 

***My exceptions (there are a lot) are mostly the younger nations. Eg Liechtenstein, Iceland, Hong Kong, Seychelles, etc., nations who were pretty much born into the modern era and haven’t needed to do much deceiving and fighting yet. I feel like they’d be more trusting because they haven’t gotten stabbed in the back yet or maybe they’re just younger and haven’t seen more things. Idk I feel like this is discrediting younger people (and I’m one of them) but yeah the “kid nations” who haven’t seen as much action on the world stage as those Old Geezers are probably more prone to love than the rest.

The other exceptions are because of their portrayal in the anime/manga (which I know probably isn’t the best source to go off of but...) as well as actual “unions” where countries have merged. I can see Fruk, Spamano, AusHun, and Gerita being a thing, but I won’t ship them hardcore. I won’t reject them though.

Also: I personally don’t like the enemies to lovers trope which is probably why I have this headcanon, but if that’s your kind of trope then this post is probably irrelevant. Feedback is always welcome!

A loud bang and a groan reverberated from the cold tiles of the bathroom. Greece rubbed his head and hissed at the pain.

"Shhh, are you trying to attract the whole world's attention? They are all right there in the conference room if that's what you want."

Turkey's scolding was answered by a mumbled apology and another groan, but this time it was out of pleasure, not out of pain.

Strong hands were roaming Greece's body, demanding kisses pressed to his lips, and he couldn't do anything but let it all happen. His head was still pounding from the hit against the unforgiving wall of the bathroom stall. But being kissed and touched like this by Turkey... the pain was soon overshadowed by the pricking feelings of arousal under his skin.

Turkey hummed approvingly, when he felt Greece's gentle fingers carding through his hair, massaging his scalp. He deepened their kiss, getting more bold, more desperate, before breaking it entirely.

Greece tried to pull Turkey closer to him again, but before he got the chance the other man had slid from his weak grip and was on his knees before him. A sight that Greece wouldn't dare to complain about.

Calloused hands slid up from his hips to his waist, sneaking their way beneath Greece shirt. A shiver ran down his spine and Greece gasped when Turkey's kisses went from his stomach to his hips, bruising the tender skin with little nips and bites.

Turkey settled his hands on the back of Greece's thighs, pulling him closer. Feeling him getting harder was a turn on of its own.
