You ever think about what would happen if Bruce had to kill in self defence?

Like literally no other choice, just attacked without holding back because he knows he’s about to die, and he puts a bit more force behind it than he expects and suddenly they’re not moving why aren’t they moving what has he done—

I haven’t put a lot of thought into it, and it depends entirely on how you write his character, but I think he’d either A. spiral before eventually coming to terms with the fact that there really was no other option at the time, B. panic and hide all evidence and pretending nothing happened while slowly spiralling into a pit of self loathing, OR if you want to go the really angsty route, maybe he hides all evidence and after some spiralling convince himself that it’s fine he’s Batman he needs to stay Batman so he’ll just put this behind himself and pretend it never happened, it was just one time it’s fine, but then one of his kids unearths some piece of footage or something and demands why the rules don’t apply to him, why he can keep on working and isn’t a threat despite being a killer yet Jason always gets shit for even knocking someone out. And mayybe one of the other batkids recently killed in self defence too, and Batman was lecturing them because ‘there’s always another option’ and how they shouldn’t be out in the field if they put civilians at risk, when Jason or Babs or someone calls him a hypocrite and it spirals from there…

Ooh ~ I like how you added the element that Bruce didn't mean to kill them. He never actually made that choice.

Despite Bruce's steadfast rules against killing, the man has killed before. Imma link an article here so y'all can look into it. Basically, pre-Robin Batman (or his beginning years as the caped crusader) used to have no issue with killing. This storyline was changed so that he had never killed at all, but it is interesting to ponder. He has made kills since his character insisted he has and never will kill, though. Some of the ones listed are alternative universes or times he was sure his enemy would survive despite their situation seeming to depict otherwise.

Therefore, it's not a stretch to say he would or has killed. There's some fics that examine the hc that Bruce DID kill someone (or multiple people) in that pre-Tim era and repressed/denied the hell out of that notion. Extending that out to other circumstances would cool af.

Anyways, let's look at this AU specifically!

The three reactions Bruce can have about this are:

The mentally healthy one of coming to terms and accepting this kill

Hide all of the evidence, spiral, and try to justify it to himself while remaining a hypocrite

Repress the fuck out of his memories (including killing, hiding the evidence, and anything else surrounding it) to deny it happened

The first one has opportunities for good dad Bruce where he communicates with actual words to his kids that he'd rather they come home alive. Great hurt/comfort for that route.

The second one is full throttle fuck Bruce. He's a hypocrite who berates the others for their choices in the field, reacts explosively to them even hinting at murder, and overall no one (including Bruce) is having a good time.

The third one has four options:

Bruce is obv not mentally well. He can receive help, come to terms, and eventually end up as good dad

He keeps denying despite how much evidence is proven otherwise, causing him to spiral and jeopardize his relationships.

He eventually accepts what happens but is steadfast that HIM doing so is fine. He won't excuse that behavior for anyone else regardless of the circumstances

After acknowledging the kill, he creates a self-fulfilling prophecy with his belief that even one death will cause him to spiral into madness and mass murder. There would be many clues that he could stop from becoming a monster, but he simply doesn't due to his ideas that one death is too far

The last one could bring lots of angst, especially for the person that forced Bruce to acknowledge the evidence and his kill :)

Maybe the fic can even force Alfred to be the one to put Bruce down for good :)

There are also fics that consider what Bruce's reactions and what the rest of the batfam would do if someone who's sworn off killing ends up killing someone (particularly on accident or in self-defense). There's either good dad Bruce who apologizes for ever giving the impression that killing in self-defense is wrong (when there's no other choice) or bad dad Bruce who goes nuclear.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Bruce killing someone, but this is a rant about Bruce's moral code:

For once, I'd kill for an ACAB Batman because cops kill, and that goes against his moral code. A simple math of murder = wrong, so therefore cops (who don't swear off ever killing again) are an entire group he's against the same as he's against gangs.

He's criticized the batfam, some JL members, anti-heroes, villains, etc. for their choices regarding murdering for justice. Are there any fics or instances in canon where he basically says "fuck the police" because they do kill? Not him stating that GCPD is corrupt, but him fully disparaging the entire profession/institution due to the allowance it gives in murdering. He could go on one of his rants about judge, jury, and executioner. He could chat about power dynamics, morals, police training, checks and balances, insufficient evidence gathering before execution, innocents killed, etc.

Where the fuck is ACAB Bruce? Give me reluctantly working with Jim despite his hatred of cops. Give me him stating he likes Jim as a person and his notion of changing shit from the inside, but Bruce (as someone who is legit working outside the law and policies in place) doesn't think it's possible to change enough. Give me Bruce debating whether his role of working with the legal system is doing harm.

If Bruce has black and white perspectives on murder, let him have it about everything.

Hello! Sorry if this was asked before. But talking about Luigi being proficient in engineering made me think of Mr. L where a lot of ppl get the hc from. So I wonder what your version of Mr. L would be like? Would be be snarky or would you change him up?

Truuue, the headcanon did mostly originate with Mr L... 👀 I keep forgetting due to my lack of knowledge regarding the Paper lore!

My version of the character would be the sheer opposite of all that Luigi is, his antithesis in mind as much as heart. Bitter, angry and vindictive instead of gentle, resilient and supportive. Violent instead of pacific. Stubborn and brash instead of meek and sensible. But most grotesque of all: deeply hateful towards Mario rather than affectionate and loving. 💥💔

I have considered a few different avenues for the circumstances that would surround his brainwash (none of which includes Dimentio because he's not part of my AU), and the one I'm leaning towards the most so far would be a dark spell cast upon him by Kamek after an ambush. In this scenario, Bowser would have an epiphany and suddenly realize that the best way - the only way, really - to neutralize the threat that Mario poses against him once and for all would be to put an enemy on his path that he simply cannot fight. And what better way to achieve this than have said enemy be none other than his beloved brother?

The spell would act as a complete reversal of one's character in a way that the dark sorcerer would be able to control to an extent, making Mr L frighteningly spiteful and unhinged. It would be quite the dreadful sight, and more horrible still, Bowser would be absolutely right in his previous assessment.

Mario couldn't find it in himself to fight him and would thus remain haggardly idle, which would result in a swift and brutal defeat. 😣

ooh my god this took me so long to get out we're almost a week into the new years 😭😭😭. but when I saw this ask I actually screamed thank u sm nonnie. being able to ramble nonsense abt ven is always so fun. these aren't a lot whatsoever but these are some main things I think about with venti. all are random but somewhat related?

he often does performances, whether that be at a tavern/bar or an open mic that are either 'dedicated' to you or a 'special somebody'. even if he doesn't directly say your name, he makes it so obvious that it's about you, his eyes glued onto you the entirety of his show. it's supposed to be a sweet gesture, and it would be, if it wasn't so clearly a way for him to claim you as his, which is only worsened by the fact that you're not. no one would ever believe otherwise though.

in the same vain, if you start romantically seeing someone, or even slightly have interest in anyone, he instantly becomes intensely clingy. you two have barely hung out recently, you two should hang out more! he's been dying to see this live show with you, and there's a new cafe that just opened up, and there's this beautiful meadow nearby that's perfect for a picnic, he pulls out all the works to try to convince you to spend more time with him than anybody else. and trust, if you do spend time with someone else, you'll never hear the end of it. he'll constantly sulk or make you feel insanely guilty, saying anything and everything to make you feel awful.

I think the main thing that would differentiate canon!venti and modern au!venti are their literal powers. given that modern!venti doesn't have a borderline fear-tactic to hold over your head, he instead resorts to manipulating you, especially in ways similar to the headcanon above.

venti is insanely emotionally intelligent. he knows every little thing about you, how your mind ticks and what really pulls at your heart strings. he can't help but use this to his favor. anytime an 'issue' arises between you too, he's quick to put on an award-winning act. of course, if it was what'd he call a genuine problem or a mistake on his behalf, he's quick to apologize and do everything in his power to make amends. but if you're upset about something akin to his clinginess and possessiveness... oh baby, you're getting guilt-tripped.

it doesn't really matter if you're a person who's hard to manipulate or not. venti can break a will. at some point you just wear down and give up.

canon!venti really doesn't like to hold his powers against you (he really loves the thought of you choosing to be with him, even if that choice is... coerced), but if push comes to shove, he does. he would never would never actually use them, but stories about how he acted and what he did back during those days of war are certainly enough to keep you docile. to be fair, he doesn't necessarily need to use them at all. you're far less likely to go against him if you know just what he's capable of. deep down he knows he'd never do anything, but he's so unpredictable that the fear that he could is enough.

I think venti would also definitely use the fact that he's the god of freedom against you, especially as a sort of mind trick. he states that he's the god of freedom, he would never take away your freewill, that goes against everything he stands for! so, the fact that you're with him is clearly your own choice, something of your own doing, and if you truly wanted to, you could've left him at any time you wanted to!

somewhat similarly, I think venti would have a 'thing' for getting you to say certain things. he'll do things like pin you down and say (with a big, toothy smile plastered on his face) that he won't let you out until you admit that you love him, admit that you're his and all his, admit that you would never, ever leave him. he tells you to do it in a lighthearted manner through giggles and grins, but you know that he's serious about never letting you out from underneath his grasp.

also, another few headcanons that doesn't really fit into anything else:

I think another difference between modern au!venti and canon!venti is that modern au!venti is a lot more of a creep. as the god of freedom, canon!venti would, of course, stick to atleast some of his morals and godly obligations. being a yandere doesn't entirely diminish his values, even if he does stretch the limitations of them often. but modern venti is not tied to those morals, so he has no reason to really obide by them. he therefore sees no issue with doing things like going through your room or your items, looking through any notes or journals or diaries you have, laying on your bed or pocketing an item of yours or two.

despite gods likely having insane regenerative powers, I can see venti choosing to keep any and all scars that would've developed throughout his life of serving out duties as a god. they're all so especially jarring because of just how gentle and harmless venti looks in comparison. it serves both as a reminder of his past and all he's been through (something that you would definitely atleast sympathize with) and all he's done, a testament as to how looks can be deceiving and that you should certainly never underestimate him.

Sun doesn’t take advantage of his nano stomach as much as the others even though he’s arguably the best cook. He sticks to drinks mostly, not really seeking out food and absolutely hating metal supplements

Sun has a temper, and he gets angry a lot more than others realize. He's just better at hiding it than Moon, more likely to direct it inward rather than at other people, and does his best to never let it evolve into physical violence towards others. The fact it takes so long for Sun's very emotionally charged magic to make itself known is a testament to his restraint, even if it's still not very healthy :'D

Sun, especially at the start, did not view Eclipse as his own person as much as the personification of something he fears. He assumes the worst: that Eclipse is all the horrible parts of Sun and proof of how horrible Sun would be with the killcode. Going out to kill Eclipse was just as much an act of killing the nasty parts of himself as it was getting rid of a threat. It's not until he actually gets to know Eclipse or Solar (depending on the AU) that it fully clicks for Sun that Eclipse is his own separate, messed up thing rather than an extension of himself

In fact in the Silly Celestials AU Sun is dead last when it comes to coming around to Eclipse, but this isn’t universal I think Sun is just as likely to reach out to Eclipse first in varying circumstances

Hello, could I ask you for some Radiant Vessel Hollow AU stuff? What's the general lore behind that, how did those two end up as they did and just general brainrot on the idea?

Anon this is the best birthday present ever bc i've been thinking about this au for a while now AND I WANNA TALK ABOUT IT AAAA

SO pretty much the au was born from the idea of "Wouldn't it be fucked up if Hollow ended up joining Radi?" partial inspiration comes from this song as well!

(There's a bunch of subtitles in different languages but I'm going with the english one)

To summarize, after years of fighting Radi inside their mind prison, Radi changes tactics and attempts to make Hollow join her, she promises to give them all that was taken from them, the life they deserved

Hollow doesn't fall right away of course, they try to ignore her, fight her, but after years of the same dance and song they start getting tired, no matter how hard they try Radi is never fully gone when they fight, their void not strong enough to rip her apart, and being the only one with them (The dreamers are also in Hollow's mind prison, but they're not anywhere nearby these two) they can't help but lean on her company

The closest thing I could get to describe their relationship at this point is an odd sense of solidarity, in a way both of them were done wrong by the same guy, and while it does take a lot for Hollow to understand this, deep down they knew there was a bit of resentment towards PK, one that grows in intensity the more these two spend together, and it erupts when they succumb to Radi and she turns them into a vessel for her

It's kinda like what Grimm and the Nightmare heart has going on (or at least the general HC most people got) Hollow made a deal with Radi, she will lend her powers and energy to Hollow for them to call anytime they want, to go back so she can see the world through their eyes (disclaimer: not all the time btw ASHFJKAS just when its necessary/Hollow calls her) there's no cycle of rebirth or anything here though, she's also no longer limited to Hollow's mind, she can see the whole Dream Realm now

So yeah, once Hollow is used to their new powers (and body, they got some changes in appearance) they take down the dreamers, escape the black egg, their presence making the infection spread like a wildfire and take down PK :3 (WL escaped, the knights... yeah they dont make it)

There's still some ideas I gotta clean up after this point, but I talked about this with some people and got the idea that yeah, Hollow does take over Hallownest and its people, everyone is infected to some degree? makes them more agreeable to what's going on but its not enough to make them feral anymore, some of the bugs that got modifications through the infection stay like that and while still a bit volatile, they can think enough to understand things

As for their relationship??? It's odd as fuck KJHSDFJKAH there's nothing romantic, that's for sure, it is definetely more similat to a Lord and their subordinate, but theyre like??? very close?? almost familial, when there's no job to do or Hollow needs reassurance Radi becomes the closest thing to a motherly figure they could get (Even if WL loved them there was no way she couldve shown them that) but its not enough for them to call each other family

as for the game events it would completely change, Ghost would arrive to a completely different Hallownest, where everyone is happy and nice, but the more u progress the game u realize shit's fucked up, Hornet is there as well and she came back to Hallownest to seek revenge for her mother

As to what happens to the abyss and pile of dead siblings, i'm still a bit unsure, part of me thinks Hollow wouldnt want to get rid of it but part of me knows Radi wouldnt let them have it open or even go in there, while still void the light she bestowed upon them would present a threat for the shades living there

and that's most of what I got! I still need to think of other things, but if u guys got other questions or ideas I would love love LOVE to hear them!! :D

Starting with basic shit Akito is SO so in denial about his feelings and when he's finally fed up with it he chucks it down to infatuation (It is not)

And Tsukasa is an oblivious idiot to everything even though he has a stupid crush on this ginger he just refuses to say anything because he still thinks Akito despises his guts

My guy every little bit of physical contact you make with carrot head makes him look like color hex #ff0000 RGB 255, 0, 0 how do you not notice this

Tsukasa fell first, and they both fell harder >:)

You know Tsukasa'a 1* card where Akito saved the poor man from a spider or something that's when it happened Tsukasa didn't know at first cause like haha who the hell falls in love with someone over something so small I barely even know the guy

If Akito confessed first, after a long moment of awkward silence and Akito wishing the floor would eat him alive, Tsukasa is suddenly hugging him and crying (That's a yes btw)

If Tsukasa confessed first, it would take a bit (probably a few days or weeks) but eventually Akito with the support of everyone finally accepts his feelings for Tsukasa (He didn't tell anyone about the confession btw it was probably Akiyama or one of Tsukasa's friends that told everyone also the threat of Rui was probably another reason he couldn't deny lmao)

Every date, and I mean EVERY SINGLE DATE, Tsukasa will always bring or buy some cheesecakes or pancakes for Akito

And if he doesn't the next time he brings lunch for Akito he'll bring him more cheesecake than he usually does to make up for it

When Tsukasa found out Akito's favorite flowers were sunflowers, he sometimes brings one for him too :D

Tsukasa probably got a pair of sunflower clip-on earrings too (Or whatever they're called)

Tsukasa loves to tackle hug Akito and it never fails to make the ginger laugh <3

Tsukasa borrows Akito's jackets a lot (At least twice a week).

Akito complains about it but let's be honest he loves it when he gets it back and all he smells on it is Tsukasa's scent

Tsukasa loves giving gifts to Akito even if there's no special occasion, usually some type of jewelry like earrings and the next day Akito's most likely wearing it

Obviously, they invite each other to their shows, and sometimes their other bandmates too

During WxS shows Akito's supportive and is internally loud but during VBS concerts Tsukasa is HOLLERING Akito's name and singing along if he knows the lyrics it's embarrassing but if you look closely enough you can tell it hypes up Akito a little more and he tries even harder (An has taken note of this and teases him nonstop about it)

Neither of them are a huge fan of PDA but if you stare long enough you'll probably miss a sneaky little kiss when you blink

That or if Tsukasa's in a really good mood he'll practically cling to Akito (Which is like 50% of the time tbh)

Yes Ena and Saki are supportive but holy shit Akito wants to fucking strangle Ena whenever she brings it up (This applies to An too)

Tsukasa helps Akito be more open with his feelings and Akito helps Tsukasa deal with negativity better

Around people, Akito still treats Tsukasa how he would (if Tsukasa isn't being clingy) but once they're alone Akito acts like he's touch starved and refuses to leave Tsukasa alone

Akito sometimes helps Tsukasa with practicing for his shows. He's obviously not as good but he's trying and Tsukasa appreciates his efforts

Tell Akito to say wonderhoy and he'll look at you like you're fucking insane but have Tsukasa tell him and he'll say it as unenthusiastically as he can manage

And then Tsukasa will look at him all :((( and Akito does it with more energy and "jesus fucking christ the things I do to make Tsukasa happy" (It's just a wonderhoy idk why you're so pissed /hj)

I do not understand Japanese and I am not caught up on that one event story with furry Akito so correct me if I'm wrong (about the italicized part) but before Akito gets over his fear of dogs Tsukasa always made sure they would steer clear of them and if one suddenly appeared this blond pink theatre kid is going to protect his pathetic fucking boyfriend with his life

Rui: Is that a hickey? | Tsukasa: No! It’s just a mosquito bite. | Akito, walking into the room: Hey, guys. | Rui: Hi, mosquito.

Whenever one of them stays up really late when staying over. the other tries to convince them to go to bed and cuddle/snuggle with them and it works.

Tsukasa practically begs meanwhile, if possible, Akito hugs Tsukasa from behind and basically just collapses onto him half asleep mumbling into his ear (Can you tell I'm tired it's 1 AM and I got 3 hours of sleep yesterday I'm running off of a power nap rn)

Obviously, Tsukasa can't do anything with Akito like that so he basically carries Akito to the room of whoever they're staying at

I sure do! And as a bonus because I miss writing the Arisato's, there's also Twin!AU HC's added (aka both male and fem MC's are present as siblings)

Minako cares for S/O greatly. She'd do anything to not have them in harm's way, doubly so considering her line of work.

Shadows were a threat to humanity, but it comforted her at least to know S/O wouldn't be affected by the Midnight Hour.

Until one night, they were still in a human form when it the clock struck midnight.

Her heart nearly stopped when S/O used an evoker, and summoned their own Persona.

And following that, they were asked to join SEES, much to her dismay and relief.

On one hand, it meant that she could keep an eye on them without worrying if they would get caught in collateral damage.

But now she had to worry about S/O getting killed by a Shadow.

The greatest threat however had yet to come:

Meeting the rest of the dysfunctional squad that were the other SEES members.

If S/O ever got hurt during their operations, Minako would not hesitate to tear the Shadow apart, but knew she had to keep her head cool.

She was the leader, and the rest of the team would crumble if they saw her panic.

Fighting against innate instincts, even in the heat of battle, she tries to not let her emotions dictate her actions.

BONUS: Twin!AU

Minato knows that his sister wouldn't choose anyone to be her significant other lightly, so he doesn't bat too much of an eye.

Normally if a person was trying to hit on her, he'd interfere immediately with a death glare.

He's respectful, but doesn't show much emotion around S/O.

Minato eventually lets his walls come down around S/O, showing a bit more emotion whenever his sister isn't in the room.

It's usually a gentle smile or an extremely quiet chuckle, but it's a sign of trust.

If his sister trusts them, then he can too.

In battle, Minato makes sure to watch over them for Minako's sake whenever she can't join the team.

He knows it'll give her peace of mind. It'll also shut her up too.

I do actually have a few thoughts on Au Ri tails! I do so very enjoy their anatomy and thinking about specific behaviors they may have.

Speaking about in-game speculation, I don't think Au Ri have much use for their tails other than perhaps body language and maybe some balance assistance. They just seem too short to use as practical weapons even at the longest setting. That's not to say they can't attack or defend themselves with them at all, though! I don't doubt that, in a pinch, an Au Ra might use their tail as a last resort. Especially since it seems like Xaela in particular engage in a lot of hand to hand combat (from a few npcs I've seen).

The ones with the thinner, spikey tails I think could use them like an iguana does. Not like a mace or a club, but more like a sharp whip. Those ridges can slice you up pretty good!!

The thicker, meatier tails could probably be used the same way, but would be more like how an alligator thwacks you if you try to sneak up on it from behind. Wouldn't cut through the skin, but it'd definitely leave a pretty sizeable bruise.

Behaviorally, I like to believe Au Ri tails are primarily used as mood indicators. Not really like a dog, but more like... well... lizards. Specifically, when an Au Ra is angry, stressed, or spooked, I like to think their tails would be doing the angry gecko wag. Bowing the head forward to point their horns at the enemy, hunched over ready to strike, tail slowly waving behind them- makes for a pretty intimidating threat display!

I HC that Au Ra do a lot of posturing and intimidation (cough cough I.E. Magnai cough) towards each other before doing any kind of fight or physical confrontation. Maybe bigger, spikier tails give the advantage, lol.

Maybe some of the thinner tails have loose scales that rattle? Maybe the thicker tails have plates that "puff" out when angry to look bigger? The possibilities are endless!

Anyway, that's my ramble in lizar tails for now! I'll probably talk about them again at some point, teehee.

Hydrogen Anon, I know I'm back rather quickly, but I'm gonna talk about Creme Republic in the Self Aware AU because it's my favourite location in the game.

Some Cookie Odyssey Spoilers--

The Creme Republic would probably first take notice of Gingerbrave and company sometime around Chapter 10, possibly before, seeing as at the start of Cookie Odyssey, it's established they had tabs on the Ancient Heroes. Though the small group of people with access to this information would all be rather confused..

How are a group of young teens with a thief no less, able to go to all these locations and manage this?? So they keep even closer eyes on the group, maybe even sending some cookies to watch them in their travels. This is when they find out about MC, which is seemingly this mysterious sentient being, hiding away, yet advising them every time they get into a fight..

Weird.

I also imagine that if MC ever ends up in Earthbread by some ridiculous circumstance, this would probably be a very, not bad per se.. (there is duskgloom and beast yeast after all). But just not great place to land in. You're in a city with no money, and people are giving you weird looks because you clearly aren't from here and don't know where you're going.

(Going thru some characters) - beware very ooc.

I feel like Clotted Cream would just be completely thrown for a loop, it kind of made sense until he was told that the cookies had never actually heard this figure "speak", MC just guided them into a battle formation and then they'd win. It sounds completely ludicrous. I think that CCC wouldn't suspect MC to be a higher power initially, but would suspect MC, whatever they were, had some level of strategic genius to lead a group that effectively, all while never actually being seen.

Financier and Madeleine don't initially think MC is a celestial or anything, that's jumping the gun a little, in fact when the Council of Heroes happens they find MC a little unnerving, MC has eyes everywhere, nobody can see them, and they never say anything. MC just keeps watching. By the time Ch.2 and 3 roll around they get convinced though. MC literally guided all of them, helping in fighting the masked cookies, as well as defending the republic when DE attacked, when they finally witness MCs bizarre guidance in person they walk away with a really different perception, MC being some kind of celestial isn't completely impossible.

When news of the weird entity reaches the elders, they've all got radically different perceptions of MC, (I won't go thru them all it will take forever) - I think Caviar wouldn't care in the slightest what they were, if they really are some higher power, and so far, mute, they probably won't be telling anyone anytime soon, speculation is fine, but the more important issue is if they're a threat or not, and so far, despite their suspicious demeanor they haven't *really* done anything bad.

Honestly I have no idea where Oyster would stand on this, wherever she stands though, she probably keeps her opinion very secretive, though. Or holds off on making assumptions until they have more information.

I'll do Expresso too, screw it. He subscribes to the belief that you're a cookie with incredibly powerful magic, plain and simple. (I could also see him not caring either, but in this case I imagine curiousity getting the better of him).

Though--out of the lot he finds MC the most unnerving, for exactly that reason. If they are a cookie, why do they never show themselves or speak, even in emergencies??

I do believe that CCC are very confused about Mc and want to find some understanding not liking how they know nothing of them.

I think when Mc first landed in Earthbread I felt like everyone at first could see them but for right now so unknown things happen where they are not invisible but only those they chose can see them.

And I think that the Mc can talk but when that unknown thing happened it kind of messed up their way of speaking. Kind of like tinkerbell where all you hear are bells when she speaks or they don't need to say anything but yet they still know what they are saying, or some form of sign language.

Just imagine those cookies shocked and confused when they see Mc leading them to battle. But I think Mc really cares about the main squad as to them they are also confused about this new place.

But I do think after Mc helps out with fighting the masked cookies more about their existence started to be talked about.

Me when I have a bunch of headcannons set on this one wip!

My hand writing was very poor so I'll write them out again + extras

- purposefully builds an unsettling, intimidating, & unfriendly aura to make ones he doesn't trust scared of him and uncomfortable

- takes a bit for him to warm up to people, and usually tends to stick to a select group of people (ex: fell, dust, and killer)

- sadomasochistic (self explanatory)

- seems very rude and cruel at first

- on the asexual spectrum, but doesn't bother with labels too much

- his right eyelid tends to droop when he rests his face, and cannot see very well out out of it. Most of the time it stays closed unless he forces his eye open

- easily aggravated due to his head injury giving him chronic migraines. It's best to steer clear of his path when he is aggravated because he can and will hurt you

- he has borderline personality disorder, bipolar and commonly experiences Psychotic episodes.

- he struggles with major amnesia, due to his head injury and tends to forget days, weeks, and even years of his life. He has to write things down and get reminded of things a lot.

- also struggles with insomnia due to the headaches

- after starting to work under nightmare, nightmare gifted him an axe instead of the cleaver he holds.

- he struggles to speak a lot due to head injury. Speaking is exhausting to him and he slurs his speech. So he's selectively mute, only really speaking to make a pun, to people he likes, or to say some creepy shit.

- he mainly communicates with grunts, growls, snarls, random noises as he finds this easier than speaking. Gets his point across to when trying to scare someone

Cw for ed talk

- since he hasn't eaten in 7-8 years, when he joined nightmares crew, he was able to eat as nightmare promised to provide food to he and his au as long as he stayed working under him. He now struggles with keeping food down due to his body forcing him to be food repulsed to survive.

- his body went through a magic mutation process as a defense mechanism that made him larger and stronger, to be able to use more physical attacks rather than magic ones.

- he doesn't know his own strength sometimes. He tries to be as gentle as possible with people and things he cares deeply for.

- despite being very big, he's extremely stealthy and light on his feet

- will never and has never eaten a human ( this is cannon I'm pretty sure btw! ) no matter how much he craves he will never taste human flesh. Nor is he a cannibal. He does make threats and jokes that he's going to though

- he got autism just because I said so (personal hc)

- some of his monster mannerisms are based off of that of bears and wolves. He got the nick name "teddy bear" from dust and killer

- other nicknames being Butcher, Axe, Brute, Boar, Hog, ect

I have so many thoughts about a pred! Zuko now for the sort of au you made where he has a tiny. I can just imagine a scenario where Zhao threatens to ‘take care’ of the tiny and its like the first time the reader sees Zuko something that seems to be protective (albeit they assume it’s because he doesn’t want to lose his personal snack)

Anyways I was wondering if you’d have any hc on how reader would react to becoming Zuko's sna- I mean tiny, assuming it’s when he’s still searching for the avatar.

OOOOARGH I haven’t thought about pred Zuko in so long but I’D LOVE TO NOW!

Right off the bat, the tiny would be horrified. They get handed over to this bratty Firebender who’s obsessed with finding a person who isn’t even proven to exist or be alive anymore. And to make things worse, now this guys wants to make them his permanent SNACK? The tiny’s aware that this is basically the main purpose their kind serves to the Fire Nation, but to actually be in a position where it’s going to happen is TERRIFYING.

I feel like Zuko wouldn’t eat the tiny right away. He’d hang the threat over their head to make them be obedient. This includes a LOT of fearplay; he’ll snap his teeth at them and snarl at them to behave if they’re giving him a hard time. If he’s especially frustrated and the tiny just isn’t making things easier for him, he’ll roughly grab them and dangle them over his open mouth, displaying a one way trip straight down, lowering them until they’re halfway into his maw, and only raising them back up once he gets enough of their screams and desperate pleas for him to stop. Does he ever hurt them? Absolutely not. Zuko has repeatedly told them he has no intention of harming a hair on their head, as there is no point in doing any such actions to a tiny creature that cannot defend themselves from the likes of himself.

So yeah, it’s not a good relationship. Zuko instills fear and the tiny bends to his will, terrified of the ever-looming possibility that the banished prince will put them to the use they were given to him for: to be his snack.

But then General Zhao comes along. And he is worse than Zuko ever has been. He goes after the tiny for no reason other than for the fact that he enjoys hearing them scream. Grabbing them in a tight fist, he leers at them with a wicked smile and opens his mouth wide, promising he’ll “take care of them,” and they’ll be the perfect energy battery for his firebending. There’s no bluffing; he’s actually going to do it. But then Zuko comes out of nowhere and practically sets the general on fire, causing Zhao to yelp and fling the tiny into the air. The tiny flails and shrieks, but Zuko expertly catches them and immediately holds them to his chest, hands cupping to cover them protectively. “How dare you treat them this way?” he’ll yell at Zhao, who’s now kneeling before him with scorched clothes. “They’re MINE. Do you understand me?”

Zhao stomps off, muttering sourly to himself about how he lost out on a good snack, and Zuko just glares at him, smoke wafting from his nose. Only when he hears the tiny whimper does he look down at them, and he finally feels how hard they’re trembling, how they’re clinging to him with shaking fists and their face hidden. He feels a strange sense of pity wash over him when he just…stares. And he thinks about how he’s treated the tiny since this moment, and how he’s no better than Zhao. Sighing, he gently touches the top of their head, moving to pet them, but the tiny flinches and sobs. More pity, now accompanied by guilt. Zuko doesn’t know where these feelings are coming from, but he decides he’s going to tone down his acts of intimidation from now on.

He’s not going to become kind overnight. But it’s a step in the right direction. And with the realization that there are people on this ship who actually DO want to hurt you? Well, he’s probably going to have to keep you somewhere extra safe from now on. You can easily guess where that place is.

Meanwhile the tiny is just absolutely petrified and thinks Zuko just doesn’t want to lose his personal snack. And he doesn’t, but not in the way they think.

I am humbly providing many many days after you asked!

Jackienat in canon: god I’ve talked about them at length before but there two as individuals are my little sweetie snookums lovebug angels (I love all the yellowjackets but god god god I love them); they are the two girls who I believe are the most invested in the team as a whole. I think they would’ve been amazing co-captains side note (not me suddenly considering writing a short little au something about them being captains together GOD). I think that it’s been said very well by many people, but they are so tethered. They want what’s best for all the girls, they love hard, and they do NOT get that energy in return enough. I don’t really understand why people come to the conclusion that they hated each other. I DEFINITELY don’t get why people come to the conclusion that they hated each other PRE crash, because there’s nothing negative show between them when we DO see other girls be bitchy to Nat and make fun of Jackie’s earnestness, but it’s never these two against each other. Nat is very vocally anti freeze her out, everyone knows innately that Jackie would be without even asking. I’ve spoken about their fight at length before, so without getting too far into that I will just say I think the way it escalates and gets so emotional and personal is very very telling. I don’t think they’ve fought before, Nat is clearly more emotional than when the other girls are cruel to her which I think means she didn’t expect it from Jackie, Nat hits back with a threat/fights back instead of brushing it off like she usually does. I think it’s fucking tragic that they fought and never got to reconcile, because they both are the type to hold guilt and sadness over that shit. Them teaming up at doomcoming against the crazy, the way Jackie would’ve lived if Nat were home for her and Shauna’s fight, the eulogy Nat gives Jackie when she takes her bones to the plane. They are just tragic and beautiful and we’re robbed of the chance to be truly close friends, because I really do think that’s the trajectory they were on.

Jackienat platonically: oh GOD do I love them. I can’t wait to explore their dynamic in we practice resurrection every night. I talked a lot about how I think they’d be close above but I also heavily hc that jackienat and shaunalottie each made out at least one party in high school respectively. They are so special to me. Sweet girls with huge hearts and very curated protective exteriors beloved beloved beloved.

Jackienat romantically: I love it so much. I am a jackieshauna and lottienat at heart (clearly lmao) but I LOVE them as a stop on the way to those endgames. I think they’d be surprisingly soft and sweet as a pairing and I think that they’d be able to help each other through the ummmm tougher times of shauna and lottie’s less than ideal behaviors lol. (I LOVE BOTH SHAUNA AND LOTTIE DEEPLY but they have some very rough tendencies that would be hard as their partner and I think some commitment issues/stumbling blocks to get to a healthy (healthy for yj) relationship status, just objectively lmao). Jackienat is hot and fun and kind and loving and the type of young dyke relationship that leads to really close lifelong friendship no one can ever change my mind on that <3 they should kiss <3

Yes, Eclipse will definitely be getting revenge on Lunar later (it will most likely involve snakes - I don’t think Lunar in canon is afraid of snakes, at least not that I recall, though centaur Lunar is, I kinda imagine it how Toothless and the other dragons in httyd are scared of eels)

Oh yeah I have LOTS of random fun facts/headcanons for this au >:)

Starting off with gender/sexuality headcanons :

Lunar is trans and uses they/he pronouns, pan

Earth is panromantic demisexual and uses she/they

Solar is pan and uses he/they

Sun uses any pronouns (he/she/they), bi

Moon is aroace, uses he/him

Eclipse is demiromantic pansexual and agender, uses he/him

(BM twins) Scarlet (twin 1) - genderfluid, pan | Whiskey (twin 2) - nonbinary (masc leaning), uses they/he and is biromantic grey-ace

Ruin is unlabeled, def queer tho, and uses they/them

KC is bisexual and uses he/him

Now onto other random facts/headcanons :

The BM twins in this au are obligate carnivores (most centaurs are omnivores like humans—in my headcanon anyway- so the twins are an abnormality)

The twins are separate in this au and that is how they have always been though they still have a very close connection to each other

The nick/tear in Solar’s ear is from a tracker that he ripped out of his ear sometime before meeting the others

Solar has a bit of a southern accent in this au (I may do voice claim stuff tho still unsure)

Instead of coming from his time in space like in canon, Lunar’s star powers were just something he was born with that lay dormant in him until later on (the astrals of course knew he had these powers the whole time but didn’t appear until they started to manifest)

KC is the tallest as well as the oldest in this au (with Eclipse being a close second in height) and Lunar is the shortest (and the only one based off a pony)

KC’s right ear is permanently flattened due to an injury from years ago (you can see this on his ref sheet)

All of them display horselike behaviors (because as many already know I LOVE characters with physical animal traits that also have behavioral traits)

These behaviors include :

vocal (snorting, squealing, whinnying, nickering, etc)

stomping hooves when annoyed/upset or sending an alarm to others

ear emotes (laid flat - angry, swiveling rapidly - anxious/nervous, pricked - alert/interested, etc)

when excited or playing they may nip and bump each other and/or chase each other around

charging/false charging (Eclipse is well known for doing this both to other centaurs and people)

They may be centaurs but they are still of course half horse and have prey responses/behavior, especially when it comes to things that could be a threat to them (wild cats, wolves, other large predators, snakes, etc)

some have stronger reactions to this prey response than others (though again the twins are the odd ones out and have little fear for other predators with them being more like a predator themselves)

during the fall and winter their coats get thicker and fluffier and in the spring and summer they thin back out

They all live with their own little “herds” —Moon and Sun’s herd (them, Lunar, Earth, Solar, eventually Eclipse), KC’s herd (KC + the twins)—Ruin’s the odd one out in this as they don’t belong to either herd

(There’s other behaviors they do but these are some of the most common/notable)

how do i start caring about cousland origin? idk i just can't bring myself to give a single fuck about some noble guy's parents dying even though it's probably dramatic, traumatic and whatnot

it’s definitely the least interesting of the origins. to me. not that there’s no value in it and i’m not bashing couslands but it’s easily the most classic fantasy narrative and requires the most work on the player’s part to make interesting

i got invested in couslands only recently because i love fantasy worldbuilding and politics and the couslands have a really insane unique position in ferelden when you look into it. i also think they open up a lot of game decisions that otherwise don’t make sense to consider because they have quite a different background to the others, like they have very different political priorities, probably more complex fereldan loyalties and senses of their duty and rights that come into conflict w their grey warden directive, infinitely more likely to be an uncomplicated andrastian (side note, quietly non-andrastian cousland family would fuck. as an au/hc concept. has anyone done that), don’t instinctively relate to experiences of being oppressed or an outsider, etc. etc. i also think there’s different character opportunities in someone who has had a very sudden tragic downfall from a life of relative comfort surrounded by loving family, as opposed to someone who has uh always been exposed to threat in the way that the other origins in different ways have.

i would also say i think couslands work really really well (and i find them most interesting) in multiwarden worldstates. to play other characters off of by contrast. i probably won’t get around to playing my cousland but i would never do multiwarden without adding a cousland

overall i think you can take what’s basically true—that cousland is a very standard fantasy hero backstory—and you can either dismiss it or you can take the trope that’s been put in front of you and play with and challenge that. okay, so i have a standard fantasy hero. what does that mean? do they buy into their own story of being protagonist of the universe? do other people? how does it affect the way they deal with other people’s suffering especially the kind they can’t relate to? how can we fuck up the narrative? what do i mean with this and where do i think you could take it. um. i think cousland’s one of the best origins for an “evil playthrough” and that’s one way to take it but i’m also thinking of, like, you could do something SUPER compelling with... idk make alistair do the hero’s sacrifice for them and they have to live out their narrative knowing they were never the real hero in the end. you see what i mean like you just need to take the ideas presented and fuck with it, i think. cousland makes you do the work

I am thinking about the @quieteeks robit design sO MUCH 🥲

rudely tweaked the design a little to accommodate some brewing AU hc’s. I like to think that a robot Alan would be some kind of personal protective AI system that essentially lost his previous ‘owner’ due to a tragic accident/ not so accident. Since the loss of owner meant essentially a loss of function, he’s been wandering around the perimeter of his designated territory, and has been protecting the land/ natural wildlife ever since.

some general hc’s:

definitely still feral and a bit of a biter, his social AI algorithm has been fairly overwritten by interactions with animals at this point

that insignia on his chest was built in to indicate functionality. having it stuck on that sign is... not good, to say the least

he doesn’t know jack shit about keeping up on his repairs, so more often than not he goes for a welder when cracks get bad enough or just plain old duct tape if the hole gets too big

he can unhinge his jaw, but he doesn’t actually have to open his mouth to speak

he’s got a carbon fiber frame, so while he’s very strong he’s still quite light, which contributes greatly to his speed

he sparks a lot, especially when he’s angry/ flustered/ generally overwhelmed by emotion. his emotional neural nets have degraded quite a bit and intense emotion quite literally shocks his system

fairly consistently leaks oil from his jaw and mouth, but this gets a LOT worse when MC is around

he’s pretty terrible at hiding his intentions and biding his time. Pretty much from onset of meeting MC he does NOT want them leaving the perimeter and he will slaughter without hesitation to ensure their safety/ remove any perceived ‘threats’ to their staying with him

part of his hair being such a mess has to do with forest living/ lack of upkeep, but the static he’s constantly building up certainly doesn’t help

Still can’t feel pain and his touch sensation system is fairly primitive but his exposed wiring and the inside of his mouth are REAL sensitive
