“Go away!”

Tyler groaned and leaned his head against the locked door that was separating him from his sick girlfriend.

“Please let me in Y/N” Tyler continues. “Let me take care of you”

“Absolutely not!” She croaks back, her voice getting scratchy from having to be louder. “I already have to miss Christmas with my family, I’m not gonna get you sick too!”

Tyler huffed at her stubbornness. “Mamas…”

“I’m fine-“ she was cut off by a coughing spell that made Tyler want to break the door down.

He knew how her coughing always got bad, and wanted to be with her to do whatever he could to soothe her sickness.

But she had locked herself in her hotel room and wouldn’t come out.

The two of them were supposed to finish up work, and then on the 23rd she was going to head down to see her family and he was going to go see his.

But now she couldn’t go, and Tyler knew how upset she was. Christmas was Y/N’s favorite holiday, and it was very special to her and her family.

She hadn’t missed a Christmas since she was sick as a child.

All he wanted to do was hold her, and tell her it would all be okay.

But that damn door was in the way.

“She still not coming out?” Tyler lifted his head when his dad walked down the hall.

“No” Tyler sighs. “But she just talked to her family, and they’re canceling the Christmas get-together until she’s better”

Taz sighs, he knew that must have been eating her up.

Which was why he pulled the spare key out of his pocket that Y/N had given him in case she left her key in the room for the one-hundredth time. “Open the door”

Tyler didn’t hesitate to grab the key and swiftly unlock the door.

Taz smiled and walked away as he heard Y/N groan.

“Hey mamas” Tyler said softly, sitting down next to her and brushing some hair out of her face.

His eyes shined with concern when he felt how hot her forehead was. “You’re burning up baby, you need to take some medicine”

“You need to go” she grumbles, turning over and pulling the blanket over her head. “You’re going to get sick and it’ll be all my fault”

“Well too bad sunshine” Tyler looked up when his dad came strolling into the room with a bag of food and medicine bottles.

“Dad… no..” Y/N sighed, and despite the situation, Tyler couldn’t help but smile when she called his dad that.

“If you think you’re gonna be sick and we’re not gonna take care of you; you have lost your mind” Taz says. “So get out from under that blanket”

Y/N hesitantly does as told, and Tyler frowns at the red flush on her cheeks, and her glassy eyes.

“Tyler, prop some pillows up for her” Taz instructs, and he does as told. Tyler tries to kiss her head when he’s done but she pulls back.

Taz sits the bag down on the bedside table, and ushers Tyler over so he can sit right next to Y/N. “I’ve got some soup for you, right after I take your temperature and give you some medicine”

Y/N accepts defeat and opens her mouth for Taz to put in the thermometer.

Tyler reaches over and puts his hand on her cheek, and tries to ignore how hot it is.

Taz takes the thermometer once it beeps, and tsks. “101.8. You, young lady, are not getting out of this bed unless you absolutely have to. We are going to take great care of you”

“No Taz” Y/N groans. “It’s Christmas, and you’re both going to end up sick”

“Stop being so stubborn. We’re gonna be fine baby” Tyler comforts, rubbing his thumb back and forth against Y/N’s cheek.

Y/N leans into his hand, enjoying the coolness against her hot skin.

“Don’t worry, the doctor is here” Taz jokes, holding up one of the medicine bottles.

“Uh oh” Y/N mumbles, making Tyler laugh, and Taz huff. “Oh, so you’re sick but you still got jokes, huh?”

“Always” Y/N replies, and Tyler smiles at the little grin on her face.

“Baby..” Tyler calls softly, running his hands through Y/N’s hair to wake her up.

She groans in reply, and cuddles more into the hoodie Tyler gave her.

But this just makes her wince, the body aches flaring up every time she moves.

“It’s time to take more ibuprofen” Tyler says, and leans down to kiss her warm cheek.

“Okay” she breathes out, before slowly sitting up.

Tyler opens the thermometer and hands it to her. “Take your temperature real quick”

She silently does as told, and as the thermometer is doing its job Tyler gets the pills from the bottle.

Tyler sighs when it starts beeping, knowing that sound meant her fever was back up.

She hands it back to him. “100.1”

“Okay” Tyler sighs. “I think we should start alternating Tylenol too”

Y/N nods. “Okay”

Tyler frowns, knowing just how bad she feels. She could barely sit up.

“Here you go mamas” Tyler handed her the pills, and she took them before taking a sip from the glass he held up to her lips.

“Thank you honey” she mumbled with a tiny smile, and Tyler smiled back at her. “Of course baby”

The two sat in comfortable silence for a moment, but Y/N sniffling grabbed Tyler’s attention.

At first he thought it was her nose running, but then he saw her eyes getting glossy. “Hey… baby, what’s wrong?”

“I miss my family” she admits, reaching up to wipe her eyes. “I hate missing Christmas”

Tyler immediately reached over and pulled her into a hug, and for the first time since she got sick, she didn’t pull away from him. He wasn’t sure if it was because she needed comfort, she hurt too bad to, or both; but he was just glad she was finally letting him console her. “I know baby, I know”

“How about this? You and I are going to spend the rest of the night together watching your favorite Christmas movies, wearing those silly matching Christmas pajamas you thought you had hidden from me” Tyler offers.

This makes Y/N giggle softly. “I’d like that. Can we start with Home Alone?”

“Of course” Tyler smiles, and leans down to kiss her head.

“Thank you for taking care of me” Y/N mumbles, nuzzling into his chest.

It was the first week of summer and like every school girl you were supposed to enjoy it, being the school for the majority of the year could be suffocating.

Severus had just finished cleaning the plates after lunch, he had a couple of things he wanted to sort out before the middle of summer comes around and time becomes tight.

He knew you went upstairs to your room to finish some summer homework, so the house was pretty quiet.

It was around five in the evening where he decided that it was enough time in your room and you could use a snack with some tea.

He knocked on your door but there was no answer, he figured you might’ve taken a nap and opened the door.

The bed was empty but the messy table is what alarmed him, he immediately called for you then heard your whimpers from the bathroom in your room.

He knocked strongly on the door "Are you hurt? Open the door!"

"No! I can’t!"

"What do you mean you can’t?!" Severus used a wandless, wordless spell and unlocked the bathroom door. His heart sank and his knees felt weak.

There you were, crying on the floor with blood dripping from your slashed wrists.

He dropped down next to you and tried to touch you but you only curled more on yourself and whimpered, the blood has stained your sleeves and it was at that moment that he realized you wore long sleeves for long and never showed your wrists even in the most blazing days of summer.

How do you confidently share your writting with people?

I'm trying to write this book with my friends just for fun. It's really detailed and requires me to be really open about my ideas, and I feel so insecure about it. It's not like I have no experience, I've been told that I'm quite good at in school but I just feel like a 4 year old trying to write a fairytale in comparison to everyone else.

Excellent question.

So, before I started posting I read a lot of other work within the hero x villain community and thought to myself “I wanna write like this too”/ “I could write like this too.”

Which was sorta a big motivation for me.

But my biggest motivation and inspiration was and will always be my English teacher. I somehow managed to get on top of my class, despite our class already being the “elite” English course in our school.

And her responses to my essays motivated me, as well as my extremely intelligent and talented classmates whom I also saw as my competitors.

But I also take it very easy on this blog. My snippets could be a lot better if I actually put more time into them but my priority is biology rn since I’m at university and not in school anymore. (🥲)

So, that helps too — knowing that this isn’t my best and it isn’t supposed to be my best.

Notes don’t mean anything, to be honest. I’ve seen so much good writing that deserves more notes and I’ve seen so much writing with a lot of notes that is in comparison just not as great as other stuff.

I think all you need to know is, that your ideas and your writing mean something. It means something to you and it is something you created. You wrote that sentence, you wrote that snippet, you wrote that book. You are the one who decides what happens. That’s pretty powerful ngl, so just trust yourself a bit more.

You created something from nothing and if you’re open to change and improvement, if you accept criticism but stand for your ideas when you think they’re really good, then you have nothing to be worried about.

Be your own hardest critic and you’ve already won.

I’m really trying to get back into the swing of things with my mood and writing, but it’s a bit hard for me rn. I have to kick up the gear and work extra hard on studying since I will be going off to college next year 🥲 not only that but it’s just an extremely emotional time of year for me because I have seasonal depression, I’m back in a bit of a grieving stage rn since having three deaths back to back around this time last year and going into early this year so I’m kinda emotional about that rn and everything is just kinda a lot, BUT! I will power through it and work + update (me manifesting LMFAO) 😭.

When it comes to country lovin’(cause I know some of yall wondering when that’s getting updated) I plan on releasing those chapters when it isn’t so cold. IM SORRYY, but I just don’t have the vibes to write it like that rn because country lovin’ is such a summertime read and I associate it with summer so much that it’s kinda hard to write it when it’s cold, especially since the winter makes me sad and country lovin’ is supposed to be warm for the most part. Hopefully, I can get rid of that association and still write for it though cause I already have more plans for it and I really enjoy writing it. Killa hotline on the other hand, I honestly don’t think I’ll update it again. It’s a possibility, but I’m just not focused on that storyline rn sooo yeah.

As for the Halloween fics that didn’t come out, I’m not sure I’m gonna put those out at all actually. I might wait till next year spooky season or something idk. Or maybe if I get in the spooky mood I’ll release them lmao.

And finally for the requests, they are closed 😭 I write many projects at the same time and I kinda bounce back and forth from them and I’m just now finishing up ones all the way from spooky season which is crazy LMFAOOO I really apologize for that like that’s horrible. It’s mostly cause I’m a really bad procrastinator and a perfectionist, but I’m trying to work on that. But not to worry, your boyfriend is right there already warming up to sprint to the pharmacy.

Bokuto just shrugs, stretching his torso from left to right. “Doesn’t matter. Plus it’s a great workout.”

And he pecks you on the cheek before racing away. You’re so overcome with emotion by his sweetness that you call after him “I love you, Bokuto Kotarou!!”.

🪳— Malthine. He’s under the impression that he’s immortal - because his siblings are. But he himself isn’t. As much as Tobiany’s crucifix suppresses or completely blocks his powers, it also ensures his survival. You remove that, and he’s just about as vulnerable as you and I.

✨— Even though he doesn’t have much development at all, probably Perseus, especially since the total redesign I’m working on. Perseus was actually one of the first Ramirez siblings I wrote, and initially, he wasn’t a Ramirez sibling at all. He started off as a counterpart to another person’s oc that I cannot seem to name rn. Oh, and his name was originally supposed to be Prince.

😈— If not Vesker getting his arm sawed clean off in front of his entire department, then that one time I trapped Artemis in the mirror realm? Imagine that. Being stuck inside one single mirror, unable to make any sort of verbal or physical contact with anybody. Just having to watch the days and nights pass and not being able to do a single thing.

🍻— Even if he is a bit of a cock, probably Braxaer. I’m not sure why, but he seems like the type of guy that’s able to hold his liquor, and also probably just offers a hell of a time.

👑— Vanté, absolutely. He’s not only one of my most developed OCs, but I also just connect with him in a really odd way. Like, no, I’m not an ex-mass murderer, absolutely not. Nor have I ever been tested on by a malicious organisation and blah blah. But! His design and his character have always held a special place in my heart, idk.

⛓️— Sora, quite obviously (50 centuries). As much as it’d be quite interesting to let him out into the world, it’s also quite fun to write STS’s ventures of trying - and failing - to understand what the actual fuck Sora is. Like. I don’t know either lmao.

Random: I never know what to say for this lol. In my high school chorus class, we sang a medley of songs from The Phantom of the Opera, so they showed us the 2004 movie version at the end of the year, but I missed a day because I was sick. So me being me, loving both the musical and Gerard Butler, borrowed it from the library to see what I’d missed. With my renews, I ended up watching it while I did homework every night, 31 times in 28 days, to learn every single word of singing and dialogue before I had to return the DVD, because I didn’t know if I’d ever get to watch or listen to it all the way through again so I wanted to memorize it. (My mom got me the DVD and CD for my next birthday after that. lol) It’s been a while now since I last watched it so I might’ve forgotten some by now, but yeah, for a while I could basically watch the whole movie in my head. 😅🤷🏼‍♀️❤️

How are you liking remote work instead of face to face?? I’m so miserable at my job rn, its a call center and it’s mentally draining me 🥲 so I’m like “maybe i should just work from home instead of working a call center”

well in terms of conveniency i like it a lot bc obviously working from home is very convenient cuz i roll out of bed and don’t spend gas money to drive 😭 but tbh i rly liked working in person better bc i liked my work friends and idk i kind of liked how working made me up and active and interacting w ppl u know ?? ofc work will be work and it’s draining but the social part of being there in person was better for me mentally i think. i currently only work 3 days and 18 hours a week 😭 bc i’m taking 22 credit hours to graduate on time after switching majors 🥲 so i suppose bc of all that, working remotely has stressed me a lot less and eased my schedule and stuff, but overall i preferred in person

i think it’s definitely different for everyone tho bc my cousin has shifted to remote work ever since the pandemic hit and he LOVES it he absolutely dreads any meetings in person. but honestly i’d say if u have the opportunity u should try and see which u prefer bc a change in work atmosphere positively can make such a world of a difference in ur everyday life so if u think it’s for the best it might just be !!

I hope this isn’t nosy or unhelpful, but I just wanted to say that I have not yet had COVID, despite: living in the US, having worked in-person until July, and having both people I live with each get it on separate occasions. I am vaxxed to the maxx and I have been conscientious about masking, but I think less so than you. Anyway it is super super super possible to get through this without getting sick and I truly wish you the best. I know that this pandemic is incredibly stressful and scary, and I’m sorry you’re having to deal with it closely rn. Sending some good vibes to you and Ana, and I hope Ben and your family are feeling better and testing negative soon.

And I love the idea of your Mary Poppins bag! I have something similar in my car!! It's got all the stuff I need incase I'm out and don't have it and too far from my dorm! My other bags are usually just a full but only contain multiple fidget objects or random items and pens I've found 😂 which surprisingly my random objects have come in handy at times so I can justify keeping them😂

And I'm not actually sure how the one of tests went😂 my teacher still hasn't given back the grade! He was supposed to and then my school closes down for the tropical storm again (which basically ended up missing our area so we're good) and we didn't have class that day!😂 But my other test went well and I got and A on it! So i did bit of a longer break due to the storm but I still can't wait for thanksgiving break in like a week😂 And I guess it was good that your plans to study elsewhere didn't move right before the pandemic! I can imagine how stressful that would have been! Maybe if you wanted to if would be better now, I guess the world has somewhat settled down a bit (in some degrees...)  I'm glad your week was good! Yeah, because I was planning to quit my job and just go to Boston 😂 life: sure haha now I have chickened out to be honest, I’m thinking I don’t know of different plans now like getting my own place, so maybe something online would be more fitting… who knows? 🤷🏻‍♀️ With everything that happened I decided to try to not make lots of plans (of course not getting on the irresponsible side either).
