I was listening to the OL1 ending song again (playlist was on shuffle, wasn't expecting it and hit me like a truck </3) and while I was getting teary-eyed listening to it, I got reminded that we got the smallest snippet of the ending credit song for OL2 (and I mean small - its like a line or 2 in one of the updates in Kickstarter)

I LOVED the trailer song we got with the kickstarter (I really like the voice of the singer and how they incorperate the title into the song and all the fun autummn descriptors and uhhghgh) and the small preview of the ending song is already so beautiful, I love how it's all slowed down and a gentle song and I just know it is also gonna end up making me bawl my eyes out once I've finished the game </3

Idealized Man #in spite of arakawa's feminine qualities being kind of front-and-center when you start the game #and him being very emotionally vulnerable. openly crying. yknow. #like the Only time the word “trauma” leaves any rgg character's mouth it's arakawa's #he's a single dad. he takes work nowhere near as seriously as jo. #of course he does have classically masculine traits like leadership and strength #but......... that's perfectly in-line with rgg's themes isn't it #the ideal man is not one burdened by toxic masculinity [although. ARAKAWA IS but not to the same degree as some ok] #also obviously i chose this section to clip for a reason he is SOOOOOOO REAL FOR THIS #i LOVE when actors sound exactly like regular fans of the series #unrelated but it's funny that nakai chose to wear all-white and tsutusmi chose to wear all-black for these #also nakai's mannerisms align really closely with arakawa's compared to tsutsumi's with jo's i think #on that note i wish they asked him if he'd play the game or asked tsutsumi what he thought about jo #anyway i'm not gonna spoil too much of the interview scroll back up and watch it yourself that's an order private #but if you have read this far :] thank you
