I am sooo enamored with the Spider-Man 1 and 2 version of MJ. Insomniac heard all the complaints about the MJ sections in the first game and went "obviously the only solution is to give her a gun." All of her sections in the second game are straight up survival horror. She has absolutely no regard for her own life and safety whatsoever. At one point she gets shot with a crossbow, like there is literally blood involved, and she just rips the bolt out and pulls out the blicky. She's insane. I love her.

I really am glad that anime only people finally get to see the funniest thing about Marcille's feelings for Falin, namely how Marcille spends the entire story up to that point fawning over Falin and how cool and powerful and special she is while also acting like Laios is a deranged weirdo who tortures her for fun, only for the story to reveal that Falin is a Carbon Copy of Laios in almost every way and absolutely down with all of the freaky shit he's been up to.
