Am i delulu or does raphael admire tav/durge? I know its him performing, but as gale says "inviting to dine with devil is devils equivilant of serenade and roses" and first scene where we meet him he does eye tav/durge througly from bottom to top. Also he says "im fan of your work" to durge. So idk?? It lowey feels like raphael is fond of us in game but i need proof/ professional analysis. [Ahem you are the professional mouse afterall heehee~]

He Loves Us, He Loves Us Not: What is Raphael’s Relationship with Tav/Durge?

*Puts on my little mouse glasses* I’m glad you asked. I’m summing up a few points that I have also written about in another analysis called ‘Raphael and weaponized mortality’, so if that sounds interesting, you can find it in my reading list.

Everything about Raphael screams wolf in sheep’s clothing (or a cambion in man’s clothing if you will). Here are a few points illustrating this:

Cambions naturally have a really predatory kind of stench to them because they are entirely carnivorous. Yet, he is described as a perfumed trickster who smells of cherries and sulphur, most likely because he is trying to cover up that smell.

Poetry, an art that is very dependent on nasty mortal concepts such as ‘feelings’, is something we know he uses a lot. He’s not really good at it and he even says it’s not his ‘main interest’ to Karlach in the second act. His theatrical nature and use of poetry humanizes him, and I think he is well-aware of this.

When you call him out as a devil in front of Mol, he says something about how she wouldn’t believe them anyway, ‘not with his angelic complexion’. We also know that Gortash’s parents sold him to a ‘warlock’ and that’s how he ended up with Raphael. I’ve seen multiple places that that warlock is supposed to be Raphael himself.

Now this all makes me believe that he usually does not reveal his true nature to his clients unless: 1) they’ve already signed, or 2) they are so utterly fucked that they have already reached the point of no return with him and are forced to take his deal no matter what.

Yet, he reveals his true nature to us from the get-go. Yes, one could argue that the tadpole-gang does fulfill option 2) according to him and that’s why he does it, but I think it could also be something else. I think he knows from early on that we are his best bet, so he chooses to lay out all his cards on the table and tries to build as much trust as he can from the beginning.

This is also the function of helping us with Astarion’s scars. Dealing with a devil when you’ve never dealt with one before? Scary. Dealing with a devil when he has proven once before to keep his word? Much less scary. He’s ‘grooming’ us for trusting him to keep his word with THE deal (and he gets to fuck over Daddy Meph by potentially robbing him of a lot of souls. Win-win.)

I think Gale is right on the money when he says that it’s ‘a devil’s equivalent to serenades and roses’. Raphael is like a bird or something. He’s showing off, charming us, but also reminding us that he is big and scary. Although despite the fact that he is big and scary ‘he simply wants to help us’.

He’s done his research and already knows everything about us, so he knows exactly how to play us. This is demonstrated in the comment to Durge in the beginning and the thing he says in Last Light if you tell him he knows nothing about you: “Don’t I indeed?.

I really think that we turn into an obsession for him at some point and that the lines between the obsession about the Crown and his obsession about us blurs. This seems definitely to be the case in his journals. I mean the poor guy has nightmares about us…

I also am so sure that he is not even trying to trick us into anything with the Orphic Hammer. He truly does believe that the Emperor is a threat to us. See this:

I DO think he admires us or at the very least is heavily rooting for us. I don’t remember the exact quotes, but Korrilla tells us in Sharess’s that her and Raphael made a bet about if we would make it to the Gate, and Raphael won that bet because we had. He really believes in our merry little band of idiots.

His reaction if we betray him is also very telling I feel like. Notice how his eyes widen for a moment before they narrow and say the ‘You’ line. He seems surprised. In that whole sequence he is obviously pissed, but most of all I also just get the feeling of a man that has been humiliated and who is angry that he had put so much time, work, and trust into us.

He says that ‘he is fond of us, in his way’ and that I completely believe. It might not be out of love or affection or anything like that, but he is as fond of us as a cambion can be of someone. We’ve grown on him, and he sees potential and use in us. We fascinate him and I’d even go as far to say that he respects us. I feel like even if you give him the Crown of Karsus and he gets to rule the Hells, he will not forget the people who brought him there. He would not flaunt the fact that he had mortals help him get the Crown, but I think that when he goes on his spree to fuck up the realms outside the Hells, Tav and gang would at the very least be spared or even given privileges in that new world order. Is that a bit fucked up? Yeah…But we have to remember what he is: a devil.

im obsessed with the cover of this magazine i found from 1999 which i think looks like the jedi order had some kind of a space tiger beat equivalent full of hot gossip about notable jedi lol

there are a couple good quotes in the article, like here's ewan about the jedi on screen:

"They frown a bit, and they're good fighters. They stand for everything that's good. Nobody frowns better than Liam and l in this movie because we have the Jedi frown. We're just kind of cool geezers."

i genuinely believe that the decision to have the jedi frown was enough to tank their reputation with a large number of fans who found that off-putting and cold. if the jedi had smiled more, i guarantee that the number of fans who say that they were responsible for their own fall would be much smaller.

like think about it!! literally just bc mace windu frowned at anakin in the phantom menace, people malign his character so much. they read it as anger or disdain, but he was just frowning bc the jedi frown. they are serious people!! yoda said it in episode 5: "a jedi must have the deepest commitment, the most serious mind."

there is a lot that can be unpacked about frowning, the american norms of smiling and facial performance of emotions, and the discomfort people feel when those norms are violated. as someone with flat affect, i FEEL THAT. i love that the jedi are serious and focused. they're space wizard monks, yk?

the other good quote is about how ewan intentionally tried to match alec guinness's voice:

"in the scene in his house where he shows Luke his laser sword for the first time, he's got such a specific voice — the Obi-Wan voice we know... kind of a fatherly voice."

Light and Dark

Cc3 spoilers. You have been warned. 🫡

My obsession with this connection started when I saw @silverlinedeyes post about the six-pointed star in hosab and I added how I thought it resembled the TT scene elriel has.

We have the six pointed star in hosab and ithan-Hypaxia explained it like this.

Ithan angled his head. “A six-pointed star,” he said. Like the one Bryce had made between the Gates this spring, with the seventh candle at its center. “It’s a symbol of balance,” she explained, moving away a foot, but keeping the dagger at her side. Her crown of cloudberries seemed to glow with an inner light. “Two intersecting triangles. Male and female, dark and light, above and below … and the power that lies in the place where they meet.”

And we have the Elriel TT scene.

Elain looked up at Azriel, their eyes meeting, his hand still lingering on the hilt of the blade. I saw the painting in my mind: the lovely fawn, blooming spring vibrant behind her. Standing before Death, shadows and terrors lurking over his shoulder. Light and dark, the space between their bodies a blend of the two. The only bridge of connection … that knife.

So as you can see by the same color highlighted parts. It matches quiet well. But we are gonna focus on the green highlighted part now.

As you can see ithan thinks that it resembled a six-pointed star when bryce made the drop with the Heart Gate.

Hypaxia said, “Look at the Gates.” The quartz Gates across the city began to glow. Red, then orange, then gold, then white. Firstlight erupted from them. Lines of it speared out in every direction. The lights flowed down the ley lines between the Gates, connecting them along the main avenues. It formed a perfect, six-pointed star. The lines of light began to spread. Curving around the city walls. Cutting off the demons now aiming for the lands beyond. Light met light met light met light. Until the city was ringed with it. Until every street was glowing. And Bryce was still making the Drop. It was joy and life and death and pain and song and silence.

The important part is here that it was the Heart Gate. The center of the crescent city. Map:

One of seven in this city, all carved from enormous blocks of quartz hewn from the Laconian Mountains to the north, the Old Square Gate was often called the Heart Gate, thanks to its location in the dead center of Lunathion, with the other six Gates located equidistant from it, each one opening onto a road out of the walled city.

So it is the...heart. you know what is described as heart in acotar? RAMIEL.

Ramiel. The sacred mountain. The heart of not only Illyria, but the entirety of the Night Court.

A little elain quote:

And in my wild hunt post I theorized that Ramiel felt like the gates in a way. Because I think sarah took inspo from the Lia Fail stone from myths. It is one of the four treasures of Tuantha De Danaan. I went into more detail in my wild hunt post I link so Im not gonna add everything here again.

So Lia Fail.

The Lia Fáil was thought to be magical: when the rightful High King of Ireland put his feet on it, the stone was said to roar in joy. The stone is also credited with the power to rejuvenate the king and also to endow him with a long reign.

And we know that ramiel stone heals.

“Who healed you?” Nesta pulled back to survey them. “How are you even here?” “The stone,” Emerie explained, features soft with wonder. “It healed every wound on us the moment it brought us out of the Rite. We arrived here, of all places.”“I think it knew where we were needed most,” Gwyn said quietly, and Nesta smiled.

And we know that with firstlight you can heal. Does the ramiel stone consist firstlight and it works in a gate like way? It literally teleported them? How can it do that?

In hosab we have this:

“Your power came from the Gate—with a shit-ton of firstlight mixed in. So your magic—beyond the light, I mean— needs to be powered up. It relies on firstlight, or any other form of energy it can get. You’re literally a Gate: you can take in power and offer it. But it seems the similarity ends there. The Gates can store power indefinitely, while yours clearly peters out after a while.”

So a gate can take power and offer it and it can store indefinitely. If we take the ramiel as a first light storage of daglan with the ramiel stone it is working like a gate would?? Because in hofas the daglan under prison said they hid many things...under mountains as well.

Vesperus backed up a half step, hissing at the gleaming weapon. “We hid pockets of our power throughout the lands, in case the vermin should cause … problems. It seems our wisdom did not fail us.” “There are no such places,” Azriel countered coldly. “Are there not?” Vesperus grinned broadly, showing all of her too-white teeth. “Have you looked beneath every sacred mountain? At their very roots? The magic draws all sorts of creatures. I can sense them even now, slithering about, gnawing on the magic. My magic. They’re as much vermin as the rest of you.”

We have another light and dark scene with important sword and dagger. The dagger that was in the elriel scene—TT and Gwydion.

They are white and dark light—Alpha and Omega.(I have a post about this)

The male drew it, and Bryce flinched.

Flinched, but—“What the fuck?” The knife could have been the twin of the Starsword: black hilted and bladed. It was its twin. The Starsword began to hum within its sheath, glittering white light leaking from where leather met the dark hilt. The dagger— The male dropped the dagger to the plush carpet. All of them retreated as it flared with dark light, as if in answer. Alpha and Omega. “Gwydion,” the dark-haired female whispered, indicating the Starsword.

And whats important is that with her power bryce can unite them to open a portal to nowhere.

Polaris’s eyes widened as Bryce plunged the blades into her chest. And as those blades thrust through skin and bone, the star in Bryce’s own chest flared out to meet them. It collided with the blades, and both sword and knife blazed bright, as if white-hot. The light extended up through Bryce’s hands, her arms, her body, turning her incandescent— Into a star. A sun.

What's important is that as bryce collects Theia's power that was parted into three parts she starts to realize it is taking a touch of darkness...

Bryce rolled her eyes, but for a heartbeat, Hunt wondered if Thanatos was right: Bryce had explained how the prism in the Autumn King’s office had revealed her light to now be laced with darkness, as if it had become the fading light of day, of twilight—

And we go to that scene...

With a prayer to Cthona, she sent twin beams of light arcing around the prisms, shooting straight into them.Twin bursts of that light flared from either prism, gunning for each other. Bands of light falling into darkness, her power stripped to its most elemental, basic form. They shot for each other, and where they met, light and darkness and darkness and light slamming into each other—Bryce stepped into the explosion in the heart of it. Stepped into her power.It lit her up from the inside, lit up her very blood. Her hair drifted above her head, pens and papers and other office detritus flowing upward with it. Such light and darkness—the power lay in the meeting of the two of them. She understood it now, how the darkness shaped the light.

And the purple highlighted part...it is exactly the same as the six pointed star.

And if we go by the elriel scene...

Can you see the connection?

Also that elemental part in bryce's scene. we learn about that in acosf.

Cassian forced himself to sit perfectly still as Rhys dragged a hand through his black hair. “Once, the High Fae were more elemental, more given to reading the stars and crafting masterpieces of art and jewelry and weaponry. Their gifts were rawer, more connected to nature, and they could imbue objects with that power.”

And we know how theia and her line can use the TT and Starsword bc she helped them make them.

Theia extended her hands toward the water, the offered blades. And on phantom wings, sword and dagger soared for her. Summoned to her hands.Starlight flared from Theia as she snatched the sword and knife out of the air, the blades glowing with their own starlight. My mother returned that day with only Pelias and my father’s blades. As she had helped Make them, they answered to the call in her blood. To her very power.

So maybe Azriel and Elain have some kind of elemental magic as well?

Also the stone on top of ramiel...sings.

But when he’d touched the onyx monolith, when he’d felt that ancient force sing into his blood in the heartbeat before it had whisked him back to the safety of Devlon’s camp … It had been worth it. To feel that. With a solemn bow of his head toward Ramiel and the living stone atop it, Cassian caught another swift wind and soared southward.(acofas)

TT and Gwydion also sing.

“Let’s go,” Azriel said, and released her hand. Because the sword and dagger weren’t merely tugging now. They were singing, and all she had to do was reach out for them—

What's more interesting is @icedflames made a post about Fragarach and about the connection between gwydion and tt which came true in cc2 as we learned they were connected.

You have to stand on top of Lia Fail stone with Fragarach.

In Irish mythology, Fragarach (or Freagarthach), known as "The Whisperer", "The Answerer", or "The Retaliator", was the sword of Nuada, the first high king. The sword was forged by the gods and was meant to be wielded only by those who posed above the stone of destiny (the Lia Fail) which roared and the sword whispered in response.

So do we need to take Gwydion and TT to Ramiel? To that Stone? We need Elriel to do it bc all of them are "light and dark"? What will happen if they are all there?

And Cauldron sits upon Ramiel.

“The Cauldron,” Nesta said hours later, pointing to yet another carving on the wall. It indeed showed a giant cauldron, perched atop what seemed to be a barren mountain peak with three stars above it. Azriel halted, angling his head. “That’s Ramiel.” At Bryce’s questioning look, he explained, “A mountain sacred to the Illyrians.”

So we are going to ramiel with gwydion and tt? 🫡

i have soooo many thoughts on this and you are about to hear them. all. im breaking my knuckles and getting into this. all Love Languages Ranked In Order Of Strength. Luztoye Version <3

5 - words of affirmation:

first, with nicknames. toye tends to swing towards more traditional nicknames (sweetheart, beautiful, etc) and uses them pretty often

he feels like he's not exactly Great with talking, so putting what he can into words through nicknames is his best way to show luz what he's thinking without him becoming overly defensive

luz is. all over the map with nicknames. he ranges from the good ol' fashioned ‘no homo’ names (buddy/pal/etc) to the most unhinged nicknames he can think of (i.e. pillowcase) to Normal Nicknames. toye literally could not gaf less

ok and i mean like look. as far as weaknesses go, i think they're p far up there on the communication scale. these motherfuckers don't talk. u know that bit in himym where robin and barney never talk about their problems and instead just Fuck. bc that's what they do

4 - receiving gifts:

look. gift giving rarely crosses their minds. not because they don't care about it, but because they genuinely just don't think of it

when two people are in the same vicinity a lot/work together/are never separated - like in the army - there isn't a lot of room for grand gestures and gift giving and the likes

they settle into giving each other small things on holidays/birthdays (cigarettes, ticket stubs, etc) but it hardly matters whether or not someone says something or gives them something

3 - quality time:

melds into the above. they spend so much time together no matter where they are (from proximity in the army to post-war living together) that everything they do is in a love language, in a way

they'd watch a lot of movies. luz is literally obsessed with funny face when it comes out and has seen the gay divorcee Too Many Times. toye's favorite is you were never lovelier, he can quote most of the scenes. yes these are all fred astaire movies shh

they're the same way with music. they don't have a lot of money after the war, and what they can save goes into a turntable and whatever vinyls they can find.

it's mostly billie holliday (obviously). but there's a lot of duke ellington in there as well, and, later on, a bunch of eartha kitt.

2 - acts of service:

luz really, really likes working with his hands. he's obsessed with fixing things, and oftentimes, it's things that weren't even broken.

when he's stressed out, he tends to tear apart whatever he can find (the sink, the fridge, etc) and then trying to put it back together

this often translates into him subconsiously doing whatever he can to 'fix' toye

he doesn't even realize that he's doing it, really. toye does, but doesn't say anything, because he knows it's how luz finds whatever equilibrium he's working with

the general rule is that luz is able to fuck around with anything of toye's except for the crutches, the leg, or the chair. everything else is fair game

it almost is a game, at this point - the best way to tell what kind of day luz is having is by looking at the state of Disarray around the apartment

toye doesn't say anything about it, and it's often put back together the next day. when it's not, he puts it back together himself

1 - physical touch:

number one for luztoye always and forever for One Million Years. they r touchy, your honor.

most of their touches are small - hands on knees/shoulders, brushing along the backs of necks, etc. they're much more reserved in public, but those stick with them

i've included it in literally every single one of my luztoye wips, but toye is definitely the type of person to be like. Crush My Soul Back Into My Body.

luz is just genuinely a touchy person, all the time, and he tends to be uber touchy with toye. like a fucking octopus.

Pretty much since I started following you, I've had your main blogs post notifs on cuz I love seeing the quotes and other things that u reblog that relate to Theo and Matthias, and since following you, I've also, of course, found your side blog, which has opened a whole new can of worms for me, your reblogs about The Passenger got me to watch the movie and this movie has singlehandedly re-sparked a kind of hyperfixation that I haven't experienced in a LONG time (if u wanna exclude ocs), and NOW I have your side blogs notifs on cuz. yk. I love ur posts and reblogs ADKSKDK. I've currently got Tom at the Farm (and plenty of other movies you've posted abt) on my to-watch list (putting off TatF cuz im a little squeamish with wounds at times🧍‍♂️🤧). overall the movie was MUCH MUCH MUCH better than the remake n kevin bacon was soo fine in it n i will die on that hill. a 10/10 watch for sure

i'm so glad u enjoyed it <3 like, don't get me wrong, i always have so much fun watching the remake too, but u simply can't compare!! the original is the original for a reason yk?? i think the remake does a decent job of adapting the dance scenes to . more modern dance styles etc etc but that's about it. the only things i like better in the remake are . miles teller (especially him learning how to dance) and the line dance scene!! bc it's iconic!! and that one moment between ren and ariel (u know which one) is so fucking HOT the chemistry is insane and i've seen sex scenes look less like sex than that one sequence of them dancing

THE DO YOU WANNA KISS ME SOMEDAY SCENE MAKES ME SCREAM EVERY SINGLE TIMEEEEE GOD THEY'RE EVERYTHING and yesss you get, it just fits jegulus so well.. reg as the reverend's son + him leading a double life is Perfect.................. crim smacking moxxie was actually such a fucking incredible scene. like don't get me wrong i'm ready to kill him with my bare hands but the way this scene was DONE. the intensity and tension break was fucking PHENOMENAL. the same thing happened with moxxie's fight with striker. i could talk about this forever but the way the scene is shot and the camera angles and everything make it feel SO intimate and have such a close-up kind of fear to them.

hi I've been getting into horror media a lot more recently and I love Jennifer's body witch I watched bc of ur blog and im wondering if you have any other cannibalism movie/tv recs <3

YES!!!!!!!! here’s a little selection of some movies:

if you loved jennifer’s body, i’d recommend ginger snaps which is a werewolf puberty movie that also explores the carnage of ripping yourself away from the person you’re closest to, and raw which is a cannibal sexual-coming-of-age movie that is legitimately everything you could ever ask from a movie. they are both sister movies and the relationship between each set of sisters is so potent and explored with such depth and brutality.

we are what we are is also a sister movie but it’s mostly an eldest daughter movie that explores a cannibal family as the eldest daughter has to take up the space her mother left behind and this comes with all the responsibilities and burdens of feeding them too.

if you’re looking for relationship cannibals: bones and all, trouble every day, and fresh. bones and all is the romantic entry, it feels like an absolute gut punch and i love it very very much. fresh is a tinder horror mixed with food subscription horror that presents cannibalism in a way that straight up makes me feel ICKY.

probably the most extreme on this list are the new french extremity entries with trouble every day and in my skin, they both come with trigger warnings so i would read up on them beforehand if you’re effected by certain things, but they are both visceral as hell and thoughtfully brutal. pink flamingos is also a big trigger warning movie in case you are effected by certain things, it’s the movie i’ve experienced the most walk-outs on and when in film school was one of the movies my fellow classmates were literally angry was included on the syllabus. cannibalism isn’t the main focus but there is a very fun cannibalism scene that’s punk af.

ravenous is gay as hell i’m literally so obsessed with it it is everything to me like men will literally do that to each other fr!!!!!!!

neon demon is a slow-paced visual splendor about a young model who moves to la. while not my favorite film on this list, and not really my cup of tea, there’s some stellar cold performances, wild visuals, and the question to end all questions: “are you food or are you sex?” (quote from this fantastic writer here)

as far as tv goes: hannibal and yellowjackets really are the shows to be watching, they’re both gay and brutal and obsessive and beautiful i love them both soooooooooo much they make me feel so normal and sane.

Taco and mic have always been interesting to me i remember this certain post made by this person that atleast its name in discord is petra

And i respect it so much because the way it sees taco and mic relationship its just amazing and i have a huge admiration for it

So im just gonna start quoting this

Absolutely

Obviously im not talking about literal snakes but more likely to taco

Do i think taco regrets being who she is right now? And my answer is yes, her regret is clear as the water itself

Taco had everything, an huge chance of winning, a 'friend' the viewers liking in her words she was made to win, for then everything crumble down making her show her true colors

And then. . .isolating herself in the forest for presumably two fucking years,two years without somebody, only herself alone in the woods,having to carry with regret and guilt of her own actions and then something happened

Maybe. . .a second chance?

-taco & mic's relationship and how important mic was for her

Now lets enter to their relationship and how mic had an slight impact to taco, let me explain

Taco and mic started not really good, taco saw mic as nothing more but a pawn somebody who had to be 'guided' but mic changes that vision of her rather quickly as she showed her manipulation skills thing that taco respected making her start to get more comfortable around taco, she didn't saw her as a pawn anymore she started to get along with her and even tried to cheer her up in her own strange way in short words she was slowly getting attached to her allowing herself to get comfortable around her and starting to slowly act more like actual partners

And then here comes, 'mine your own bussiness' now this episode was important for their relationship, 'why?' you may ask and its simple. This was the point where their relationship got stronger before the disaster

And its because mic's reaction to taco's past, she wasn't really concerned about her actual past or pickle situation, she was concerned for taco because she knows how much she regrets her actions, all thanks to the portal scene, she finally started to connect the dots, she started to understand the story and started being sympathetic with her she saw her as more, she didn't saw her only as some kind of greedy unredeemable person, she saw more in her she trusted her and taco

Taco saw that

And appreciated that because

No one did that to her in a long time, nobody standed up for her before in a long time, she for once after so long finally had somebody who apreciated her like mic did

Thing that makes mic leaving even sadder for her, because after so fricking long she had somebody by her side for then everything being thrown down the bride like nothing

Only one mistake

And that was what doomed everything

That clearly leave an impact on her

Mic leaving hurted her im pretty sure even more than pickle

Because mic got her, mic took the small time for understand her and her behavior and see through her rough shell (pun intended)

Somebody for first time after so long inside her life wasn't inmediatly pushed away by her real self

For then that person to go away leaving her alone isolated and hurt

-taco and her obsession with inanimate insanity + how the show fucked up her mental state

Now one of the parts i wanted to get in the most

for show how badly fucked up this woman mental health is

I had this thought for a long while that taco had this so called 'obsession' with the game, which is one of the reasons of her behavior

And i feel this obsession comes from the fact that she had and has nothing else, inanimate insanity became her entire life, inanimate insanity its the only thing she have left add that the fact that mic left

She has nothing to lose anymore, her only purpose is to win, that's the only way she feel she could get her happy ending, the ending that was never there for her, inanimate insanity now is her only chance, the only chance she got for fix her fucked up life and mental health, despite those ways clearly not being the solution

I might be overthinking this? Yes but if you think about it makes sense

After all, the show again is the only thing taco has left in her miserable life, she had been living in the woods for presumably 2 years

she already lost everything

She cant lost the only thing she has left

And if you think about it, the entire situation its really fucked up, inanimate insanity screwed up her mental health

Just like everybody, she suffered as much as any other contestants in this god forsaken show

This game has been ANYTHING but healthy for her

But there she is, still sticking to her plan hurting everybody including herself in the process for the only chance she probably has

And the situation becomes even worst if we consider the posibility that theres no prize

-possible 'retirement'

I really hope taco gets a redemption arc, this show hasn't been healthy for her and she really needs a rest from it but i feel this might also be hard

Taco is a pretty big sturborn and i dont think she'll be really wilding to listen to anyome at all EXCEPT for the only person that could possibly care about her

Dont get me wrong i would love see tacobulb interactions in ep 15 but it makes sense mic being the only one that taco will be wilding to listen to, because again, mic saw taco as more than some greedy unredeemable person, she thought she could change she gave her a chance

So it wouldn't be a surprise if she actually listens to the only one who gave her that chance, the one that didn't inmediatly pushed her away the one that means something for her the only one who listened to her

And that person is mic

Hopefully taco will finally leave the show for good because then again the show hasn't been good for her own mental healt, and she seriously needs to leave it if she really wants to become better

She needs to move on to the next stage, the stage she never could reach, she will have a chance for reach it

And even though im 99% she'll do one final mistake before finally move on, i hopr she can take that opportunity and finally have her happy ending because honestly she deserves a break

such a scary scene and then it being the kids uhg i love it

also love that oj punches a kid and it’s actually not his fault

wow ghost is a beautiful horse

“what if it’s not a ship” he’s so smart and he’s so cool

i kno ppl don’t like the chimp stuff but i love the chimp stuff i think it works narratively with it being a jupe flashback of a pre established event, and is really important thematically (putting animals in positions where they are going to freak out and then killing them for it, using cgi instead of a real chimp cuz using a real chimp is bad, the rampage being already finished with (the chimp chose not to kill jupe because he didn’t look the chimp in the eyes/scare the chimp by running away and yelling) and only THEN does it get shot by the humans), it also establishes that jupe survived an animal attack once but doesn’t worry it will happen again with an animal (jeanjacket) that literally eats horses(which r as big as ppl! it could obviously eat people!)

“im gonna get lucky” oj is wonderful

“i swear on my wife and children’s lives” now don’t say that

“trained animals can be unpredictable”

like, jupe really thought it wouldn’t eat him and his wife and his kids like dude

sunglasses at night <3 love that song also the radio being on is such a good way to build tension/show when jeanjacket is close (and then then using it later to when they are drawing jeanjacket out)

the aesthetic of this movie is stunning

Ranking New Who Doctors by how funny they were on regeneration energy

I tried just going for the Doctor, not for any plot but sometimes it was hard to separate haha. I do think I kept the intertwining. At a minimum though! Drumroll please……

As for NUMBER 1: The man. The icon. The TENTH Doctor.

Counting the children in needs episode I think he‘s the one who gets the most silly regeneration time (also since there is practically no time jump between regenerating and the story whereas for the others, at least SOME time has passes or is skipped pretty soon afterwards

The episode that made me go "wow I actually wanna write down this quote now because it‘s so cool“

EVERYTHING. like so beautiful?? lyrical??? she’s a poet an artist a literatureist??? and the way she sees hope in literally everything and always stays true to herself and her friends and JEBDJEBHEJEJEJDN I LOVE HER (also i read her when i was younger so i was like. 17?? thats so old?? and now that IM 17 im like theres no way shes 17 shes def in her 20s given the way she talks and how wise she is so i still perceive her as i did when i was younger like she raised me i love her) plus she’s literally????? cool af???? like she’s exactly the type of character my 12 yr old self dreamed of being (all spy and quiet feet and knives and cool outfits and long braided hair and minus the trauma 💀) but really besides being badass af she’s just. kind. and funny (her and nina <3 her and jesper <333 like u don’t understand how much i love their dynamics they breathe life into my soul). she’s just such a beautiful character and i could go on to explain every single quote in every scene of her that i love but we’ll save that for another day

jesper - ah. literally going to cry. AH. jesper is such a relatable character in that i ofc absolutley adore his comedic slayness he literally never fails to make me smile no matter what BUT ALSO leigh actually gave him so much depth???? and so even from an outside perspective (esp someone as empathetic and amazing and detail oriented as inej) you can tell he’s using humor to mask his absolute overthinking low self esteem anxious adhd ass (affectionate) and once you get into his internal narration? god. literally every word i just want to HUG him 😭😭 and tell him he’s worth so much 😭😭😭 literally his whole backstory and just the way he tells it and the way he narrates his interactions with people and the way you can hear the unspoken self hatred dripping from every word and joke and DNBEJEBDBR SOBBING. but it’s okay!!! bc he now has found family and wylan and 😭😭😭😭 besides trauma though he’s also so fun i love his abilities i love his quips i love his fashion his vibe his energy his constant flirting his genuine care for everyone around him his relationships with each of the crew members AND he had an oh. oh. moment. so jesper solos for sure

wylan - WYLAN. MY BABY MY BLORBO MY FAV MY DNDBNENEHJDDJ he’s literally adorable but also so capable and incredible and smart and witty and smart aleck-y and flustered and incredibly up for anything and adaptable way more than i would have been if i was in his position AND same with jesper i NEED to give him a hug and tell him colm-style that he IS enough and he IS worthy of love and he IS incredibly smart and talented and his dad is a FJSDLKFJALJFWFO ASSHOLE AND I WILL BEAT HIS FACE IN OMSKL no but wylans internal monologue like. hits. somewhere deep inside me. and. yk whats thats. thats fine. im fine we're all fine. anyways. hes also SO FUNNY like i can see why he was adopted into the crows so quickly he literally fits right in my lil merchling i love him
