I'll go off about Grace for now, because she's the one with most development at the moment! And I have a bit of art that I've commissioned of her ♥♥

This here is Grace! Originally, I made her based off of Aurora/Rapunzel and wanted to ship her with Silver. She came as a concept of a Yuu but... then I went back and decided [What if I based her off of Prince Philip's sword and gave her purpose in the story?]

I have a BA in English and one of my favorite topics when I studied was of course the Hero's Journey along with the different ways you can retell a story. My Research paper was an analysis on Disney's Cinderella and what it made it the tale that we know today by comparing the earliest recording of it and both of Disney's movies.

ANYWAYS. I decided to twist Grace from Prince Philip's Sword of Truth but with the addition of bringing in The Sword in the Stone.

While the sword in the stone IS excalibur, if you go by Arthurian Legends there are.... various origin tales (because history mixes with fiction and documentation and exageration,,,, shout out to Lancelot being Malory's OC). SO I WENT WHY NOT ! AFTER ALL TWST CHARACTERS ARE MADE BY MIXING DISNEY CHARACTER TRAITS! (im talking about how deuce is absolutely twisted from jim hawkins as well, i will die on this hill)

But, I wanted to put her with Silver, you know? So, I made her upbringing a mirror of his.

She's the daughter of Duke Lanclos (Lancelot). The Lanclos family has served the Royal Family for centuries, the head of the family always being the King's right hand in battle simply because of the family's UM. I took a page from Idia's UM and how it's like... generational? So, their first first born is the one with the UM that allows them to use a weapon as [Excalibur], but only once per weapon. I guess she could use a tooth pick and cast her UM on it as a weapon HAH.

But the thing is, that until Grace all the other first borns had been boys that were trained to be a commander. So... the families quickly decide that to ensure the next heir be born with the UM that she should be married off to the crown prince as soon as it is possible for her to.... yeah. I place this about 300/400 years before the in-game plot is going down; so it's roughly around the same time the Fae War is going on in Briar Valley?

There are light/day fae and magical humans around. Important solely because you know... sword in the stone... Merlin (Ambrose's ancestor or something). When Grace is around 3-4 a mini war breaks down and he decides to send her off to live with an "aquantaince" of his in the woods. They can get another heir to the throne, but they can't get another sword.

That's when she meets the Lady of the Lake (Thea), a day/light fae who takes her in as a favor to her friend and raises her while training her with the sword. [This here is a direct reference to Lancelot being raised by the Lady of the Lake in some versions, but also a direct parallel to Lilia raising Silver].

Years pass by and Grace never does call Thea "mother" instead choosing to refer to her as "My Lady". By her 12th birthday her magic and UM were blooming, but she doesn't quite master her UM until a bit later. By the time she's 16, Thea gets a letter from the Duchy informing her that a war has broken out and the sword is required to join in battle simply because they know she's been training her. Thea can't even begin to imagine that this child that she sees as her daughter either die in war or live long enough to be simply... made a wife and left to raise children.

On the dawn of Grace's 17th birthday she (Thea) makes the decision to place her in a slumber at the bottom of the lake next to their cottage. [Referencing how Excalibur came from the lake]. She uses a generous amount of her own magic to ensure that her daughter remains protected in slumber where no one can find her. She then shifts her visage to resemble Grace's and joins the battle while pretending to be her.

Now, while Grace IS the sword that comes from the lake, what about the sword in the stone? The sword in the stone is a sword that is used in battle by the Lanclos Family, a family heirloom of sorts and most likely the only weapon able to be used more than once with the UM. It is however made out of iron, which is a fae's weakness (Maleficent reference). So, not only is she low on magic because of the spell she used earlier, but she's also dwindling because of the visage AND burning her hands with this sword. Her visage flickers once or twice and then faces to reveal the revered Lady of the Lake that's only been heard of by word of mouth.

She glances around and decides enough is enough while stabbing the Lanclos Sword onto the ground casting a curse on these lands. Only the true Lanclos heir will be able to pull this sword out, only she will be able to bring prosperity and fertility back. Only she (Thea) knows where the girl is and she passes on with this knowledge.

And so... 300-400 years pass by with these lands barren and nature reclaiming the cottage, surrounding the lake. On one night, a girl wakes up gasping for air and clawing up towards the surface only to see the moon shine down on her as the cold air bites her skin. She manages to drag herself out of the lake, to step around as a comforting presence follows her towards the cottage. Her memory is... more hazy than she would like. Her arms are crossed over herself and her fingers hurt as she rips folliage away from the door to the cottage only to step in and find nothing.

On her way out, she steps on an envelope. An invitation, she looks back up and a horse-drawn carriage is waiting for her.

He was active as an etcher and painter of mainly religious scenes in the Montmartre area of Paris since 1923. He also made illustrations for books (by Georges Simenon, among other writers) and children's magazines, for which he used a variety of pseudonyms, such as Lucan and Lafcat for his advertising work, Grim, Jim Black, Lucas O, Rich, Pol or Viset for his erotic work and Davine for his comics.

Richards Leverage Log: The Big Bang Job

Currently half-way through the two part finale, I'm technically a little bit into the San Lorenzo job. (only far enough to pick up on the fact that Parker actually understands the con's which Sophie is name-dropping now. Because as aforementioned, this show has given me a bad case of "cannot put it down"-syndrome.

Side Note: There is no way that this show ends with anything but Nate and Sophie retiring leading the "younger" three to inherit the business. Not saying it happens this season, but Nate and Sophie are both the "old hand" characters, and I diagnose them both with a case of Chronic "one last job". So I'm making a prediction: When the team splits and the "leads" retire, Parker is the new boss. (I know, its not a big prediction for media made today but for a show that started in 08, i think that having the "heir" be the woman would've been rather progressive for the era. I really hope they actually follow-through on this but i cant be certain cause the show originally started 15 years ago and sexism isn't fixed now let alone a decade ago.)

So yeah the way that Parker's already the inheritor of the Archie "greatest thief in the world", the way her arc is about her learning to recognize what the right thing is and growing to look for the "right thing" , the way that while Elliot and Hardison both occasionally inquire "can you do this" of each-other but Parker is the only one asking "why cant you" when the answer is no or asking "how did you" with notable frequency. The way both Nate and Sophie have at various points taken her under wing to teach her their part of the job. (Sophie teaching her how to read people for conning-purposes in the Underground job is a good example). They're priming her.

I'm staking my flag that Parker is at least intended to be Nate's replacement when he retires (whether living or...) in the final finale. (whether studio interference prevents the show from actually making her the one in charge... I hope not but studio's are known to mess with these things)

but asides aside, first time the show actually does a real season-long story-arc... Ending on having Moreau framed for the Italian's crimes (does she have a name? Nobody knows) feels like they're trying to make the Italian into Sterling V2 (cant be taken down only taken up where they cant bother us). I think Sterling has more charisma and personality though. Like the Italian is too many questions, not enough answers. She's got "employers" we don't know whereas we know what Sterling wants (to be an asshole, get good press, and generally be promoted into higher and higher offices until he eventually runs the everything)

I don't know how i feel about the EMP thing, i guess it was planted and seeded with the Carjacker episode and the return of the EMP-gun in the christmass special, but it feels weird. I guess its mostly just the way the EMP works differently in both those "seeding" episodes ("EMP fries the cars for 30 min, but they're still functioning afterwards" being a crucial plot-point in the car-salesman episode, but in the Chaos 2 Christmas Special it fries the car and makes it perma-busted to the point it's low-level treated like the death of a character) makes it feel like, if you're gonna seed it into the season. Seed it consistently so your audience actually knows how EMP's truly work?

Like this is basic "Magic A is Magic A" type stuff. The point of seeding a finale-crucial type of technology through the season is to make the audience familiar with what it is, what it does and How it does it. And I think the 2 previous EMP uses in S3 are too mutually contradictory to truly serve that purpose.

Is the team supposed to be in a personal relationship with Bonanno? Like i get he's their designated Jim Gordon (the DC character, not the musician) but it feels like too many of the episodes take place out of Bonanno's jurisdiction for him to work as a Gordon figure (seriously, does this guy have jurisdiction over the crimes Moreau is being framed with? Like it feels like we're handing it to him, he'll hand it to the FBI, who hands it to Interpol because Bonanno does not have "international smuggling" jurisdiction only much more local "ordered a hit on a guy" jurisdiction...)

Like Bonanno is technically a recurring cast member, but he only ends up arresting the "gangs and thugs", never the big-shots. It feels like those 2 FBI guy's are more Gordon then Bonanno is at this point cause the FBI has broader jurisdiction, arrests more high-level figures and the "Sweetens is crushing on Agent Haagen Dazs" joke necessitates that the team interacts with them directly.

I guess Nate met Bonanno's family once at the end of last season, but there is a lack of personal interaction that feels off to me.

In conclusion, good enough season finale. (the matrix-style knee-slide was a bit much tbh, but they needed a good set-piece moment for Elliot and its hard to keep fighting set-pieces "realistically grounded")

Hardison's set-piece (dismantling a version of his own baby) worked enough, and i guess you could argue its a Parker moment as well but it doesn't feel like it. (is jumping onto the train meant to be the Parker Moment? Cause it feels more like a "Hardison doesn't love the action-stuff" joke then a "Parker is badass" moment.

Maybe Parker will have her Badass Thief moment in the second half of the S3 finale.

Nate's badass moment is of course the Framing Moreau with the Italians Crime speech. Which works. Sophie didn't get to do much grifting in this one.

So lets hope the San Lorenzo Job, while inevitably giving Nate his once-an-episode Denouement-type moment, also gives Sophie and Parker their Big Moments. So, High level Impersonation/neurolinguistic thingy and a Laser-grid. (presumably the laser-grid hides his Back Up Cash, and the neuro-linguistic stuff to trick him into doing something that makes him wanted in the his extradition-proof shelter)

Chokehold - Made For You (Part 1)

Magic is a gift. But before too long, you can find that changing reality to your will, while fun, can be raher empty in the end. No, it is meant to be shared, to be used to help others. That's what I do, here at this bar, Chokehold. I weave my spellwork here, help guys make connections, help them make changes for the better. A bit of manipulation to steer folks into drinking together. From there, I've found casting my sorcery on heir drinks works best. If I work my spells directly on someone, it's quick, can be jarring. Reality doesn't always like it, and it doesn't always end happily for the targets. If I push magic into their drinks, however, it's a slower, more gradual process, depending on how fast they're drank. If done right, no-one but me even notices the changes, and reality adjusts to the shifts much more easily. I have quite the extensive arsenal of spells, depending on what feels right and strikes my fancy at the time. Some connections last longer than others, but it's always a good time regardless. So if you ever walk into Chokehold, just understand that you may leave a completely different person, the person you should be.

"Mind if I sit here?"

James looked up from his drink to see a man standing next to him with a warm smile. Huh. It must have been a bit busier than he'd realised. "Go ahead."

The man sat across from him and held his hand out. "I'm Jeff."

"James," he responded, taking Jeff's hand and giving it a shake. He'd seen Jeff around here and there at the bar, but they'd never really interacted. Jeff was a very handsome black man, with broad shoulders and the best smile James had ever seen. James found himself naturally smiling in return before taking a drink. "Nice to meet you." His face felt hot. He was sure he was visibly blushing.

"You too." Jeff took a drink as well. He'd never noticed before, but James was pretty cute. Jeff had thought James had a short, light beard, but he must have misremembered. James had bare, chubby cheeks, flushed with red. Jeff couldn't help but think how much cuter he'd look with his mouth around Jeff's cock. Huh. Tha was an odd thing for his mind to jump to, he thought to himself. But it was true.

The two shared a few beers as they talked about themselves, getting o know each other. James had a small independent business doing web design from home. Jeff was a bank teller. All the while, small, subtle changes sarted rippling though them, slowly moulding them to the desires of the other. James could have sworn before that he'd had a room in his home for a home gyn, but that wasn't right. He had a pretty sedentary lifestyle and he was quite out of shape. His friend Jeff here liked to jiggle his belly teasingly all the time, making him blush from embarrassment and being turned on. He only noticed for a flash when he lost a few inches of height, or when all his body hair just disappeared, but those were just silly thoughts. He was always short and smooth. Dirty, kinky inrusive thoughts would fly through his mind about the fun Jeff would have with him later. Jeff was such a pervert, and Jim could never deny him his pleasures. Jim always ended up loving it, too.

Jeff, on the other hand, was drinking a bit more quickly. He'd driven to Jeff's house just a few blocks away, to drink and spend the weekend together, like most Friday nighs. So he didn't have to worry about driving drunk. He lost all the hair on the top of his head, but his new beard more than made up for it. His tee shirt shifted into an open leather vest, his now very hairy chest on full display. More hair sprouted from his armpits, bearing a new, enticing musk that he'd now always had. It felt so good to let them breathe afer a week of him having to stay clean for his job as a bank manager. He found himself leading the conversation more, Jim enthusiastically following along. He started talking dirty to Jim, ideas for the weekend, and Jim's submissive, flustered blushing response made his dick jump. Such a fuckable boy.

Jeff stood up from his latest, half-finished beer, as Jim finished his. "Gota piss," he said. He walked a couple steps toward the bathroom before looking back at Jim, who turned to watch him leave. Jeff raised an eyebrow. "Don't you want it?" he teased.

He was too good. Jim scrambled up to follow him into the bathroom, closing the door behind them.
