You blinked heavily as the morning light of Michigan poured into the bedroom. Quinn’s arm lay across your stomach, pinning your body to his. The delicious warmth of his body, heated your own as you rolled over to burrow into his chest.

“Morning, sweet girl,” Quinn’s groggy morning voice sent shivers down your spine as his hand lazily trailed up and down your arm.

“Morning,” your muffled voice whispered back, feeling Quinn’s fingers tilt your chin up to press a chaste kiss to your lips.

He shifted slightly, pulling you even closer. "Did you sleep well?" he murmured, his breath warm against your ear.

"Always do when you’re here," you softly smiled, your fingers tracing gentle patterns on his back.

He chuckled softly, the sound vibrating through his chest. "I want to stay in this bed forever." He groaned, your head tucked beneath his chin.

"Me too,” You sighed contentedly. The two of you lingered in the peace for a few moments before it dawned on you.

It was peaceful…as in lack of chaos…as in Evie, Jack and Luke mustn’t be awake, but your girl was always an early riser.

“It’s so quiet, I should probably check on Evie.”

Quinn hummed in agreement, but neither of you made a move to get up just yet. Instead, he began to pepper light kisses along your forehead, your nose, and finally back to your lips. You grinned into his lips, your fingers brushing the curls at the nape of his neck.

With one last kiss, you reluctantly untangled yourselves from the warmth of the bed. The unusually quiet house was almost unnerving as you padded down the hallway, the soft thud of your feet on the wooden floor the only sound. The living room was empty, as was the kitchen.

Quinn's frown deepened. "Evie?" he called out from upstairs, his voice echoing through the empty house. “Y/n? She’s not up here!”

A note on the kitchen table caught your eye. You picked it up, reading the familiar scrawl.

“gone out for a while with Evie, be back later — J & L”

You let out a sigh of relief, as Quinn leaned over your shoulder to read the note.

"Guess we should have expected that," he said with a chuckle. "Those three could never resist trouble.”

"She's probably having the time of her life right now." You smiled, picturing Evie's excitement at the idea of sneaking out with Jack and Luke.

Quinn wrapped his arms around you from behind, resting his chin on your shoulder. "Well, since we have the house to ourselves for a bit, what do you want to do?" He placed kisses along your bare skin where his T-shirt you’d worn to bed had fallen down your shoulder.

You turned in his arms, grinning up at him. "I think I have a few ideas," you bit your lip as Quinn raised a knowing brow.

“Sounds like trouble,” he murmured, his thumb grazing your lips before he placed a deep kiss on them.

You let out a sudden squeal as he hoisted you over his shoulder. His hand rested on your ass holding you to his shoulder as he lifted you upstairs. You laughed as Quinn’s smirk only grew wider.

“I think we need to start trying out these ideas then.”

Twitter was sent into a frenzy on Sunday, as AlphaTauri driver Yuki Tsunoda sneakily revealed during his post-race interview that his previously-unknown beau was in attendance at the Miami GP!

Tsunoda has been notoriously quiet about his private life, leaving fans stunned at the seemingly out-of-nowhere revelation. The Internet quickly began to scour for the unknown woman online, however with what little information they had, quickly turned up empty. Though, the commotion evidently attracted the attention of the team at AlphaTauri themselves. On Monday, their official Instagram account uploaded a post commemorating the weekend, in which Tsunoda’s girlfriend was also featured.

Eagle-eyed fans may have noted that both Yuki Tsunoda and the AlphaTauri Instagram account were both cheekily interacting with a private account. Soon, rumours were flying that this account was indeed run by Tsunoda’s girlfriend. As seen above, a quick look reveals that numerous Formula 1 drivers including Pierre Gasly, Lando Norris, Daniel Ricciardo, and Tsunoda himself, are following the account.

Some were not so convinced, however. Fans were also quick to question the account’s authenticity, with some expressing doubts on whether the account owner was even the alleged girlfriend herself.  However, these rumours were soon revealed to be true. On Tuesday, the account – which had previously been private with little over 300 followers – mysteriously became public. Fans immediately flocked to the account, taking to Twitter and Instagram to report their findings. With her most recent post being a dedication to her boyfriend and her time “in miamiiiiii with my boyyyyyy”, there is little doubt that the account’s owner – whom we can now confirm is Y/N L/N – is in fact the Japanese driver’s girlfriend!

UGHHHH I’m at work so I feel like I can’t give a completely proper rundown of my feelings but the new SOL FIC MY HEARTTTT 😭

The poor thing has been through so much and she’s trying so hard to heal from all of it. I love the way you’ve written this arc of her journey since coming to live with Ingrid and Mapi. It’s raw and real and honest and you just so invite people into this world and make it such an easy environment to love. SOL is so easy to love.

I really appreciate the inclusion of Ingrid’s perspective on the whole thing as well. Her conflicting thoughts make a lot of sense, but it’s still nice to see her put Sol first above all. And of course, Mapi balancing taking care of both Ingrid and Sol is very sweet (thank you for Frido!)

Also - the addition of Patri, Pina, and Esmee (of all people not who I was expecting but I LOVED it) is just such a bright spot. They’re hilarious, they’re sweet, and it’s nice to see Sol get to have some friends her own age and just be able to enjoy her life.

writing this part was honestly so enjoyable because i've been holding off on having sol kind of... decide to put herself first. it just didn't feel right yet, like i was making everything better too quickly. but it just kind of happened naturally while i was writing this part and it felt right.

sol is both intentionally and unintentionally a huge reflection of me, and its really.... nice?... to catch myself writing about her or thinking about her and thinking that sol is so easy to love. and i'm really glad you agree.

i've been wanting to add a bit more about ingrid's perspective because i feel like it doesn't matter how old she is or how much she loves sol. you're never too old to just need your mom and ingrid has had to make peace with the fact that for sol, she can't do that anymore.

so yes, he will dance with you to that song until his last breath. he’s got his cheek resting against the side of your head and is softly singing the lyrics to you, leaving little kisses to your temple or cheek. and when he comes back from deployment, he’s dropping his bags and wrapping you up in his arms and dancing with you, regardless of how exhausted he feels. it doesn’t matter though because he’s home in the safety of your arms.
