Archie Comics artist Tim Kennedy, who collaborated artistically with his twin brother Pat, has passed away.
The Kennedy brothers began working for Archie in the late 1980s, after graduating from the  Joe Kubert School of Cartooning and Graphic Design. They’ve been regular contributors ever since,  drawing classic Archie stories as well as projects like the popular Life With Archie, which showed two alternate takes on Archie marrying Betty and Veronica.

Tumblr media
No stop over at Facebook, I see, for the fast moving Internet. But shouldn't just be looking at cute cat videos on youtube?
Mr. Lodge's consternation at Veronica is a little odd, given that he has just gotten his ban lifted by Elon Musk after violations incurred in various stupid Twitter battles.:

Fourth MLM Ship Bracket Propaganda Submissions
Below you will find all of the submitted and approved ships for the Fourth MLM Ship Bracket Tournament along with the form to submit further propaganda at the bottom
This is another opportunity to submit propaganda for your favorite ships. Wether you were unable to submit propaganda for them in the initial form or you spot your favorite ship who has no propaganda submitted. Ships with a strikethrough have propaganda submitted, I will continue to update this post as propaganda is submitted. I will accept further propaganda for ships with already submitted propaganda but please prioritize those with out.
The goal is to have propaganda for all ships but I understand that may not be possible. Therefore I will be leaving the form open for a few weeks to see if we receive propaganda for at least half the ships.
Note: Please reach out to me if you spot any mistakes in character or fandom names, even if it is only formatting or spelling issues.

Our Skyy 2, let Pat wear normal shirts. He can keep the Baseball Mom and Tim Horton's, but Minoru already hurt me with his New England Patriots shirt, so let's keep the personal attacks to the minimum.
Please & Thanks.

I'm Ezra, I'm a 38yo happily married, but non monogamous, Australian queer trans man, drug addict. I've been into true crime since I was 9yo (April/May 1995) when I had mono, and I was being looked after by my uncle. He was into true crime, and most of his books were crime books. The first one I read was The Stranger Beside Me by Ann Rule (about Ted Bundy); followed by the first 5 books by Chopper Read (an Australian criminal, who wrote books about his exploits while in prison, they made a movie about him, called Chopper, staring Eric Bana. I highly recommend watching it, it's on YouTube, just search for "Chopper Full Movie"), and finally A Father's Story by Lionel Dahmer (Jeffery Dahmer's father). I was immediately hooked on true crime.

i realised that on my last reblog i forgot some things! also i was forced to omit a few things bc i ran out of tag space oops ("nobody cares, lamorna" - shut up i need to document this correctly)
so let's explain:
saw belinda lang in present laughter (also saw serena evans in that!! and david from cold feet robert bathurst, but he's less important to me); the reluctant debutante (also saw jane asher in it!!); and single spies
old times: met kristin scott thomas, saw lia williams + rufus sewell
the audience: met helen mirren + haydn gwynne (this was also the day when i chased jenny agutter accidentally, and i saw anne reid + stephen tompkinson going through the stage door)
passion play: met sam bond, zoe wanamaker, and lyndsey marshal (she wasn't in the play, she was just there with zoe), saw owen teale
the weir: saw dervla kirwan, met ardal o'hanlon + brian cox
private lives: met anna chancellor
the importance of being earnest: met cherie lunghi + nigel havers
relatively speaking (i went to an ayckbourn play for felicity. this is true love and dedication) met felicity kendal
the national theatre masterclasses: went to penelope wilton + david hare's one, saw them (saw penelope out front beforehand!!), met penelope afterwards
also went to amelia bullmore's masterclass, along w lots of my lovely mutuals 💖; we all met her and talked to her at length
kiss me, kate: saw hannah waddingham
guys and dolls: saw sophie thompson, and phyllida law (her + emma's mother) was in the audience
a damsel in distress: saw summer strallen
mrs. pat: saw penelope keith
oklahoma!: saw josie lawrence (also saw her + paul merton at the comedy store one time)
me and my girl: saw caroline quentin, also matt lucas
fleetwood mac: i've seen them live twice, once with chris mcvie
once there was an event that a choir my mum + i used to be in were invited to sing at, and a lot of the other performers / organisers were famous people: julie graham was one of the organisers, so i saw her, alison moyet was performing (i'd already been to one of her concerts, but not met her yet), so i met her then (she hugged me!!!!) and emma kennedy was there bc she and alf are best friends so i stood near her awkwardly; and caitlin moran was also a speaker so i saw her (backstage and onstage) too; and my mum spoke to her
my mum once won tickets to see a bbc show being filmed, and it happened to be upstart crow (you don't choose what you see, you just get allocated something by the bbc people), so we were on set with david mitchell, liza tarbuck, gemma whelan
i've told the story of being caught in the fire w the new tricks actors + sarah beeny SO many times, but i will tell it again if anyone else wants to hear it
comedians/-ennes i've seen live: ed byrne (twice), alan davies, omid djalili, rich hall (i wasn't that keen on seeing omid or rich but my mum made us all go with her and they were better than i'd expected them to be), zoe lyons, tim vine
and finally: i live in the same town as dave benson phillips (of get your own back, british blue's clues, various other children's television), and he used to be (might still be, for all i know) the next door neighbour of a family friend, so i met him at a party at their house once as a child

You brought up John at Kerry’s wedding and it actually made me wonder about something that maybe you can help me with or point to someone who can if you don’t know too much about it.
What are the relationship like for the in-laws with the Kennedys? Like for the original nine sibling how did the sisters get along with their brothers wives? The brothers with the sisters husbands? The next gen spouses and the respective siblings? The cousins with their cousins in-law?
I wonder cause I’ve seen small bits on here that maybe Arnold and Andrew had not exactly pure motives?
This ended up being very long so I'm going to put it under the cut!
With the original nine siblings it kinda depended on the in law and the sibling. At the beginning of Billy and Kick's friendship/relationship it has been said that Joe Jr and Jack didn't really understand why Kick liked him so much, they thought he was kinda stuffy and took himself too seriously. Ethel was beloved by all of the family (people have said that Peter Lawford didn't really like her and thought she was too strict and up tight), she got along with pretty much everyone, and fit right into the family. Jackie had a bit of a tougher time blending into the family, she didn't have the same competitiveness as her in laws and was quite quiet and reserved which the Kennedys aren't but early on built a good relationship with Jean, over time she got along with everyone and didn't have a bad relationship with anyone it just took her a longer time to get there. Joan fit in pretty easily as well and didn't have a problem getting along with anyone really. Generally, with the male in laws, Sarge, Peter, and Steve, Jack was close with all of them and had a good relationship but Ted and Bobby were more distant and didn't have much of a relationship with any of them. I don't think that says anything on either parties, it's just that Jack was very outgoing and was willing to talk to anyone while Bobby liked to keep to himself more. All in all I think as the family got older the relationships evened out and no one had that much of a problem with each other except for the occasional fight or disagreement, I think part of it is also that for a while everyone moved a part from each other, and they didn't have as much close contact with each other. The Shrivers moved around a lot, the RFKs stayed in Virginia mostly, the Lawfords lived in California and then after the divorce Pat moved to NYC with her kids, Ted and Joan lived in Boston and DC, the JFKs lived in New York primarily after 1965, the Smiths were pretty low key but with Steve being Bobby's campaign manager for the '68 election they were traveling a lot.
For the 3rd generation many of them are private citizens so the status of friendships and how people get a long isn't widely known but there were definitely cousins that were very close as kids. Caroline, the Lawford girls and Maria Shriver were very good friends as kids and that has seemed to stay, Kerry and Courtney could also be included in that group. John Jr was close with William Smith, Bobby Jr and Tim and Anthony Shriver. All the RFK siblings were close knit and were kinda their own little group. David had a great friendship with Chris Lawford, they were thick as thieves and stayed that way throughout their childhood and then up until David's death. Chris actually named his son after David. Ted Jr goes on yearly skiing vacations with Anthony Shriver and Bobby Jr with all their kids which has lead to many of them being close as well.
A lot of what's known about the third generation and how they all get along with their in laws and stuff is just kinda rumors and speculation. The thing with Andrew is that he was known to be Bobby Kennedy obsessed and his relationship with Kerry was evidence of that. He took her to Bed Stuy (Bobby helped to create the community there) for their first date, their wedding was at the same church that JFK's funeral was, this article goes in depth on their relationship and details his calculated approach to how he wanted to be attached to the Kennedy family but only in certain ways. With Arnold it's more of just I think after he first met Maria he told people that he met President Kennedy's niece and kind of wore it like it was an achievement or something. I don't think he was as calculated as Andrew, Arnold was shitty for other reasons (ie cheating and fathering a child with their maid and not telling Maria until years later).

After the 2020 Senate elections, Democrats have finally been able to win the Senate majority. Now the primary focus of both parties is on the 2022 Senate elections, where many close contests are expected. With a significant number of Republican Senators retiring, Democrats have high hopes to win the majority easily.  At least four Republican senators, Richard Burr, Pat Toomey, and Rob Portman, and Roy Blunt have already said that they won’t contest again. Since he will be 89 years old at the time of the 2022 elections, Sen. Chuck Grassley is also expected to retire. Similarly, Richard Shelby and Ron Johnson are also looking to take retirement, potentially making the Democrats way easy. The admission of Roy Blunt of retirement came on Monday, March 8, when he finally decided to retire but did not comment on the reason for his retirement. It means that Democrats will have seven seats to snatch from Republicans. Donald Trump's actions would also hinder the path of the new Republican contenders, as the right-wing candidate is likely to face severe opposition from the voters. Not only this, but the old Senators enjoy the strong support of the ideological voters of the party, and new nominations are prone to resistance from the voters.  If Democrats work on these retirements from today, these elections can be a walk in the park for them. It will be a big win for Democrats, as they can gain a significant lead from the seats of the retiring senators. The United States Senate is divided into three classes of Senators based on their service terms. Class 3 comprises 34 Senators, all of whom will be up for election in the 2022 Senate elections. This will be a regular election, and senators elected in this election will serve a term of six years.  Class three senators were previously elected in 2016, of which currently there are 14 Democrats and 20 Republicans. The election will be conducted in November 2022 and will decide power-sharing among the Republicans and Democrats.  Which Senators are up for reelection in 2022? Let’s have a look. Senators up for reelection in 2022 There are 14 Democrat Senators up for reelection in 2022, while 20 Republican Senators are up for reelection in 2022. Following is a list of Senators whose seats are up for reelection in 2022.   Republican Senators up for reelection in 2022:   Name of Republican Senator up for reelection State Additional Comments Lisa Murkowski Alaska Easy win expected John Boozman Arkansas Democrat challenger Dan Whitfield. Marco Rubio Florida Can be a tough call. Democrat challengers include Representative Val Demings, State House member Anna Eskamani, and State Senator Jason Pizzo. Mike Crapo Idaho Easy Republican win is expected. Todd Young Indiana Easy Republican win is expected. Jerry Moran Kansas Likely to face former Secretary of State Mike Pompeo in the primary. It is time for Democrats to identify the weaknesses of the Republicans’ 2022 campaign. A better look at the election will give them the idea that the retiring Republican Senators will tilt the elections in favor of Democrats. As only one Democrat Senator is expected to retire, they do not have much to worry about. However, if the Democrats fail to capitalize on the loopholes of the Republicans, a Republican comeback will expose Democrats, and they can even end up losing their majority, leaving Biden’s presidency vulnerable. As both Republicans and Democrats buckle up to prepare for the important 2022 Senate elections, some races will be a treat to watch. Others will just be decided according to the trends.
