Steve lightly smacks Tony’s hand away from his head. “Stop it, Tony. I’m trying to read.”

“But Steveeeeeeeee,” Tony whines. “I’m bored, and your hair is really soft.” Tony moves from behind the chair that Steve was sitting on and crawls underneath the table and moves himself up in between Steve’s legs and plants himself onto Steve’s lap. He grins when Steve doesn’t move to stop him. Tony plants a sloppy kiss onto Steve’s cheek and runs his fingers through Steve’s hair once more. “Knew you loved me.” He gasps when Steve wipes away his kiss. “How, rude.” 

Steve rolls his eyes at Tony’s antics. “Why can’t you go bug your boyfriend?”

“I would but I can’t.”

“Why not?”

“He went to some boxing match with Carol, Rhodey, and Happy and I’m not allowed to go anymore for legal reasons.”

Steve opens his mouth to question Tony on what he did, but decides against it and shakes his head. “Then go bug someone else.”

“Tried that, but Bruce went on vacation with Betty, the spy twins went on a mission, Sam, Helen, Sharon, and Pepper went out on a double date, Thor is... Actually, I have no idea where Thor is, but he’s not here.”

“You know, I’m actually kind of offended that I was your last choice.” 

"Well the next time Bucky is out, I’ll make sure to come and annoy you first.” Tony snatches the book out of Steve’s hand and sets it down onto the table. “Enough reading, Steve-o. Let’s go take a nap.”

“Tony, I don’t wanna take a nap. I want to read.” 

“Compromise then! We go lay down on the couch, I get to rest my body on yours, play with your soft hair for a bit, and you wrap your arms around me and read!” 

“If I say yes, will you stop talking and let me finish my book?”

“I make no promises, but I’ll try.”

Steve sighs. “Okay, fine.”

Steve woke to the sound of a phone camera snapping and a flash. “Wha’?” He groggily murmurs out. Steve opens one eye and sees Bucky. 

“I never pegged you to be the type that would steal their best friend’s boyfriend, Stevie.” Bucky looks down to his phone before turning it over to show Steve. “But I gotta say, this is a pretty cute photo.” The picture was of Steve and Tony, cuddled together on the couch, peacefully sleeping. 

“You know damn well, I’d never steal Tony from you. I’m too in love with Thor to do that.”

“Uh huh, and when are you gonna admit that to Thor? Hmm?” 

“.... That’s none of your business.”

Bucky lets out a chuckle. “Okay, well I leave you to your pining Steve. I got a boyfriend to take to bed.”
