// 100 days of productivity // day 1 

with national women's day this week I have had a long weekend (well one class on Friday is as close as it gets) so in the interests of productivity, I have been sleeping much later than usual and working on the essay draft I have due next week. 

I am super impressed with how far I have gotten. My lecturer somewhat scared the life out of me on Tuesday and I still only started on Thursday because sometimes life happens. I spent two days just reading the relevant cases as there have been some new developments that I need to be very familiar with in order to not look like I completely half-arsed this essay. 

Booking out two full days to read without putting a single word down for my essay was incredibly scary as I am a slow writer usually and time is scarce. I must say though it really paid off, I have a massive research document filled with advice from my lecturer and case summaries (with paragraph references because I don’t hate myself that much). 

Today I managed to get almost to the halfway mark of my word count and still have so much to say. 

What I have learned today: 

sleeping is actually very productive, there is no use in being awake and working if your brain has no power. 

research is sooo important. If you want to raise your marks then the more sources and the better their quality the better you will do. 

Drake’s “More Life” album is really good to write to if you can handle music while you work.
