Selena, Julia, Mattias Per Larsson, Robin Lennart and Justin were really spot on. This record is so heartfelt and gut wrenching that it always makes me cry.

Everybody should listen to it (demo and official version) and it’s no surprise that it was Selena’s first number 1. It’s so good and if feels like she’s cleaning her spirit in every lyric and every keynote.

I absolutely DO have a Mihawk playlist. I share the playlist construction with another creator on Tumblr who I love, cherish and adore: @sordidmusings. We add to it as we write, recommend songs as they come to us to help with words in works.

I could get into a long, long rant about music so I will add a page break here ❤. Lots of song recs to follow for the OPLA cast so far.

I am a violinist; have been playing for 25 years this year (I AM GETTING OLD, JEEPERS CREEPERS). Music is a great, passionate love affair for me and I adore learning about songs and pieces new and old. Here are some recommendations for songs and vibes I associate with the characters and the tropes.

5. I actually like the first movie and think it's good. Am I bias because it's what got me to read the books? Probably.

6. The Gods in the books (accept for Hades, Artemis, Hestia, I'm undecided about Poseidon) can all go fuck themselves. Because you guys are horrible and I wish Luke did destroy all of you.

7. Percy is hilarious, but I'm also protective of him. Like let this boy rest. He deserves blue food and a normal life( and a not so abusive girlfriend).

8. I'm also protective of Nico. But he's so badass at the same time. My gay emo gremlin.

9. I would honestly join the Hunter's of Artemis. I hate that I'm too old for them and love romance too much. But they were my favorite part of Titians Curse.

10. Rachel is basically me. I just love her so much. She deserves more love!

11. Zoe, Bianca, Selena, and Luke's deaths still hurt so fucking much.

12. I've only read the Percy Jackson books and the first Hoo book lost hero, but got bored so I didn't finish. I know most of the spoilers of some of the later books. Still this renew interest of Fandom makes me want to re read books 3, 4 and 5.

13. The show is ok. Some things I like some things I don't. I just wish it had more humor. More Percy humor.

14. Again Artemis and Zoe are soooo badass. I love them. I get the hate on men. Especially considering today's world. Don't want to be a woman who hates men. But god do I get it soooo fucking much. Do I relate to it. Only good men are fictional ones.

15. I too like Zoe would lay down my life for Lady Artemis and would happily become stars/a constellation. Like Zoe is so relatable to me.

You felt the tension you had been holding onto all these months finally crackling into a raging fire inside you, a fire which you hoped Jey and Sami could finally quench. But instead they seemed to have ignited even more.

"I didn't chose him over you." Jey spoke softly, and his eyes were even softer as he gazed at you. You felt that fire inside you again, burning brighter now, hotter and stronger than before. "I chose to protect you. And now, you have to choose the same thing for yourself."

You closed your eyes briefly as you fought the feelings and tension you always felt when you were around them. The heat that rose inside you threatened to burn you from the inside out. But you refused to give in. There was too much pain running through your veins to allow you to fall to pieces right in front of them.

The silence that filled the room was deafening, until it was finally broken by Sami. "Look, you can be as snarky as you want, you can insult us as much as you want, but that won't change the fact that when I look into your eyes, I see someone who needs my help." Sami hesitantly came closer to you- his brown eyes boring into yours. “Someone who's lost everything, and has nothing but hope left. That's not you. And if you continue to run away from this-"

You scoffed, cutting him off, not wanting to listen anymore to whatever he was going to say. You couldn't give in to them.

"Just stop! Just fucking stop! Stop acting like you care about my situation, or about me, or about us. Just... just stop!" Tears welled in your eyes, and it made you want to scream. The tension grew so strong, you thought your head was going to explode. You felt the walls collapsing, the flames starting to lick at your skin.

Jey shook his head, taking a step forward towards you. "Are you tryna convince us or yourself? Cause all your doing is deflecting, deflecting, deflecting, acting like we ain't know every inch of you and what makes you tick, what drives you crazy."

His voice was loud, commanding, hot, and demanding, causing the temperature in the entire room to skyrocket. "Acting like we ain't know you're just tryna make us mad so we'll just leave, well get this through your fucking skull-we ain't gonna go anywhere, we are staying here whether you like it or not. Cause we fucking care about you! Because we 're here for you! We're gonna help you and show you that you fucking deserve everything good in this world, you deserve the best, you deserve us!” His eyes were filled with a fire that matched yours that made your body heat up even more his voice low yet so demanding, his words harsh yet so caring. “Now, you gon' sit there, and tell us that you don't need help, you don't wanna accept our help because you think its weakness or somethin'? Well, that's just bullshit, baby. And we ain't gonna stand by and watch as you try to pretend like everything's fine when its not!"

Your eyes were blown wide, watching Jey take another step forward, anger blazing bright in his eyes. The heat radiating off of him, making your body heat up even further. You swallowed roughly, unable to speak, unable to process what you were hearing.

A tear escaped your eye, rolling down your cheek.

You didn't bother wiping it away.

But Sami did.

This year was an eye opener for me.. I do like her music but the way she acts, woah. I genuinely liked Joe and was a bit sad when they broke up because i thought they fit each other well, but boy am I glad they're broken up seeing how immature she has been acting and how mature he has been. You've a 35 year old woman who's embarrassing herself just to get back at her ex (not even her most recent ex, i still remembermatty scandal) and for what?? To make him feel jealous??? To make him feel bad about leaving her??? Its sad that so many of her swifties who are legit adults would bully another person for not wanting to marry and have babies with their queen instead of coming after genuinely horrid people who have done wayyy worse (including their global warming queen), but no, they only care about blondie and how she has been wronged by her exes because she and her BFF selena are the ultimate victims. It's so funny how they "care" so much about their queen who let's bffr doesn't give two shitsabout them individually. I just saw a swiftie talk about all the things taylor has been through in Brazil and all saying no one deserves it, and while it surely is bad to have someone die at your concert, but yk who has been through more??? Ana's loved ones, all those affected by the wars going on in the world and like the people getting affected by her pollution, its winter but I had to carry a hat on an outing w my friends because its unusually hot here and while I do have empathy for some of the bad stuff she has gone through like being groped, all my empathy does tend to vanish when she willingly associates w sa apologists or uses private jets to get some dick.. if she was a nobody acting so childishly, it wouldn't have mattered so much but she literally has a huge impact with her actions, as spiderman movies once said, with great power comes great responsibility, ig blondie only wants the power and none of the responsibilities.. its kind of disappointing considering I once looked up to her but nvm so many of her fans are so tired of her, especially us poc.. a few of the swifties ik are also tired of her shenanigans since she started the Joe hate train and dated matty..

hi! I'm Aaravos. That's... my birth name. But I prefer to be referred to as Thomas. (It's a simple name, but I have taken quite a liking to it, haha) And anything is better than "Mischievousness."

Well, I'm related to Tartarus, he is my father. I have no recollection of my mother, but I am quite certain she was called Marian. (No, I'm not from the 1600's pls leave me alone) I grew up as a prince of Hell, but my father never really looked out for me that much. I was just one of his many off-spring- one of his many children that he never bothered to check up on. And then he got overthrown.

THAT'S when my life changed. I met my best friend (and only friend), Selena! She took over the domain, and let me manage things there in her stead. I come up to the surface more often now. It's nice to see the world from up there, considering I am a demigod in the end. A demigod that's just very well adapted to Hell, as his father ... practically is Hell. Eh, details.

She never treats me any differently though, and I'm grateful for that. Considering all the harm that my dad's caused her, she really does deserve some slack. She could've chosen to resent me, just because of my parentage, or have me executed, but no! She decided to give me a chance and become friends. She's super cool.

I haven't made a lot of friends at camp yet, so feel free to talk to me! I would really enjoy conversing with you all :)

What’s your favorite Sims death?

None (hate it when it happens); the most frequent one in my gameplays is the old age one.

Alpha CC or Maxis Match?   A mix between the two, it depends how well the CC matches the game's art style.

Do you cheat your sims weight? Not really; what I cheat is how muscular my female sims are as I play a lot the Acrobat career in TS3 Showtime and my girls bulk up too fast and too much.

Do you move objects? Ever since I learned about this particular (and very useful) cheat, yes.

Favorite Mod? Most of the Nraas mods, all of @thesweetsimmer111 fabulous baby/toddler mods and also small ones to correct some stuff in the game (like No Mascot Camera Zoom, No Autonomous Gaming, Autonomous Wash Hands After Toilet Use, Zoom-In CaS Camera, etc)

First Expansion/Game Pack/Stuff Pack? World Adventures.

Who’s your favorite sim that you’ve made? A lot of them, for different reasons.

Selena Noble - a ballerina (now an acrobat) with no moral compass. But I think she's cute so she's my muse for the balletcore collection.

Lin Young - my fearless adventurer.

Riley Preston - my talented artist.

Hope London - my dedicated gardener.

These three: Mel Hada, Ren Akiba & Jace White (aka Yasu Sato). They are the MCs from "Uncertainty".

Have you made a simself? The first sim I ever made was a simself. It did not go well.

Which is your favorite EA hair color? None; since it's TS3 I mix them according to my characters.

Favorite EA hair? Not really using the EA hairs usually, but I'd choose the Playful Updo from Late Night.

Favorite life stage? I play a lot the YA & A life stages, but also enjoy all the other ones.

Are you a builder or are you in it for the gameplay?  I'm in for everything the game has to offer: gameplay, building, CAW, CC creation.

Are you a CC creator? Yup.

Do you have any Simblr friends or a Sim Squad? I wouldn't say a squad, but I do have people here that I admire and like to interact with.

Do you have any sims merch? Nope.

Do you have a  YouTube for sims? Yes (as I'm an ex-machinima creator), but these days I'm only using it when I have animations to share.

How has your “Sims style” changed throughout your years of playing? In every possible way. I put a lot more thought into my builds (and worlds), my sims no longer look like aliens (I used to make them have these big anime eyes) and my gameplays are more wish-based than ever.

Who’s your favorite CC creator? So many of them since I'm a big CC hoarder. As Daniel said, everyone who brings something to this game is a champion and deserves accolades.

But to mention only a few, I'd say @simtanico for their high quality items, @enable--llamas for the awesome furniture, ArtVitalex & Onyxium over at TSR who both still create furniture for TS3, Bill-Sims also at TSR, @sim-songs here on Tumblr for their conversions, @technicallyswagpizza for their amazing plants (and tutorials that taught me a lot), @yorithesims and @bmit04 for poses; @maryjanesims3 & @agnelid for hair default replacements, and so many more. Sorry, I can't remember everyone right now.

How long have you had Simblr? Since January 2019.

How do you edit your pictures? For more aesthetic pics I use Reshade and PS (although I don't remember ever posting these types of pics), but I usually just slightly adjust the brightness, contrast, saturation and exposure in PS as I love the TS3's default art style (I'm just spicing it up a little).

What expansion/ gamepack is your favorite? Kinda all of the expansion packs?! Mainly Seasons, World Adventures, Late Night, Island Paradise, Generations. Also love all the functional store content and worlds.
