How You Can Help CageBlade Week

We have an artist for CageBladeWeek 2024 banner work, and voices chiming in about being excited to write or draw or do other fanworks! The mod team is very excited :D If you have ideas, big or small - if you want to contribute but don't know how to write fic or don't think you're good at drawing... Make some gifsets, some moodboards, or playlists! You could even do a rec list of fave CageBlade fics (or art, or moments). Incorrect quotes? Headcanons? Go for it! Another option for involvement might be the simplest for lots of people: REBLOG! Likes are nice, but reblogs are the way tumblr really functions. Those reblogs are what help show your artists and authors you love their stuff and other people should see it to. Reblogs give breadth. Aotearoa: the land of clouds and possibilities… especially for Johnny Cage's acting career. After months of encouragement by his girlfriend Sonya, he has a new job offer and is over the moon about what his future might hold. She's less than receptive—especially when she finds out he'll be leaving and missing the vacation days she's had to fight to take. Not ready to entirely wreck their relationship, Sonya slinks off to try and take out her frustration on the vintage motorcycle she's been restoring. It might not be the only thing she spends her time repairing.

This was the first fic I wrote for CageBlade Week. I really, really like dealing with complicated and messy relationships and Johnny and Sonya are *it*.

Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance is G and on AO3 now and I'm really pleased with it.

Also I had to look up how one works on vintage motorcycles and I learned a WHOLE LOT about carburetors, and did *not* shove it all in here to make you learn too.
