Necrophobic

Some old band photos and their 1995 debut LP "The Nocturnal Silence"
In my mind, this album is the pinnacle of death/black metal (or at least from what I've heard so far) because it has some LOUD bass, a 'bit' of satanism, some keyboards, and a LOT of awesome riffs (covered head to toe in riffs).
Something like Dark Funeral mixed with Slayer.
Highly recommend.

I often see people say they view cannibalism as a form of pure love, and although I do agree to some extent I more so see it as an overwhelming devotion. I view cannibalism as a platonic act unless specified otherwise.
The depraved action I would consider an act of pure love would be necrophilia.

Carnage
Sweden
Band photos and their sole LP "Dark Recollections" from 1990
Similar to other chainsaw bands like God Macabre and Dismember (as well as sharing member with Dismember and Entombed, as well as members going on to form Arch Enemy), Carnage is responsible for possibly the most pure OSDM sound of the HM-2 movement. With a thrashing riff-fest amplified by the buzzsaw, this album finds itself among the classics of Swedish death metal, and OSDM as a whole. Well deserved bonus points for the Dan Seagrave cover artwork.
