I'm reading Orwell 1984 now and I got a question:
Is it bad that I started shipping Winston and O'Brien the mere seconds Smith started describing him to us and said that they're eyes have met ? 🥺
Pls I need to know if something's wrong with me and if the power of gayness and dirty shipping have completed corrupted me.
+ Is it weird I really enjoy (by far at least) Syme as a character? He's fairly interesting and tbh I genuinely started pitying him, when Winston was thinking that he could be unpersoned 'couse he's to smart for the Party's liking. Even though he is completely devoured to B.B.
And by the way I hope there will be everything okay with Mrs Parsons 🙏🏾, her children are horrible ☠️

this shot of bright young things ended me. the way adam looks at miles, he loves him so much, he doesn’t know how much pain miles is in, doesn’t know he’s going to be forced to leave the country, in that moment before everything comes crashing down and he takes off the glasses everything is perfect between them. even if they’re in a mental hospital and agatha’s hurt and nina’s with ginger, everything is okay because they’re together and they’re dancing and they are friends and they care about each other so much.

Tbh I wasn't really expecting Julia (at the start) to be a great character, or at least that her romance plot would be handled good (probably 'couse I read Warrior Cats by Erin Hunter, and I rearly have hope for such creations to be developed nicely)
But I was really positively surprised 🤯😁, She's amazing really! (By far at least), She's strong, brave, independent, sassy, pragmatic, flexible in stressful situations and really talented in pretending to be blinded by the propaganda. She lives by what she believes to be right, and is really stubborn in her ways and she can think for herself. (I value this things a lot)
+ I got to say her's and Winston's romance is really nicely handled and cute 🥺. And the scene where she and Smith were laying together in the double bed in a room rented from Mr.Charrington (who is very sweet as well) a rat was picking out from a hole in the wall and Winston was so terrified by it. The way Julia was firstly trying to save him from the rat by throwing a shoe at it, and then the way she was calming him down and comforting him was sooooo sweet. And heart lifting, that despite the horrors going around them, love still can exist. As well as the normal ways of a ordinary life.
Btw Syme was evaporated 😭, I know that this would happen someday, but I didn't expect it happening so suddenly.

Hello op, sorry for my bad English. I started following you a few months ago, but I lost track of you when I started my first year of college...I'm studying history and boy, I love ancient history (ancient Greece), but I haven't gotten to Rome yet. I love your art and I really want to know everything about Rome and the characters you draw... can you recommend a book? a series? Whatever. Thank you
my personal favorite overview for the late Roman Republic is The Last Generation of the Roman Republic by Erich S. Gruen! additionally Ronald Syme’s The Roman Revolution, and Routledge’s Aspects of Roman History 82BC-AD14 :)
