Finally! A mini that doesn’t include a ballad, and actually follows with the theme of the album 😭😭😭 And the music is actually good!!! This is MOMOLAND in their prime, and God damn do I miss them.

Love and Jealousy

However, Hye-sook is relentless in her scheming and blackmails Tae-ha's doctor for personal information about his health issues.   Despite the mounting pressure, Tae-ha surprises Yeon-woo with a new pillow and a heartfelt gesture. They share an intimate moment, deciding to sleep on opposite sides of the bed while still being close to each other. Hye-sook's Machinations

  Back at SH Seoul, Hye-sook calls an emergency meeting to expose Tae-ha's heart condition to the entire board. She believes this revelation is enough to have him dismissed from his position. The Chairman, unaware of the situation, is shocked when he learns about Tae-ha's health issues. Tae-ha receives a call from Choi, acting on behalf of the Chairman, advising him to let things unfold naturally.   The stress takes a toll on Tae-ha, who finds himself compelled to break things off with Yeon-woo for her own safety. He pushes her away, claiming he never liked her, leaving Yeon-woo heartbroken. However, behind closed doors, Tae-ha reveals the truth to the Chairman, and they decide to work together to thwart Hye-sook's plans.  

A New Beginning

  Yeon-woo's journey takes an unexpected turn when she learns about the Chairman's hidden agenda and his involvement in her time travel. Sa-wol discovers a watch with a butterfly symbol, triggering memories from the past. The pieces of the puzzle start to come together as the truth about the Kang family's responsibility for Yeon-woo's time travel becomes clear.   Amidst the chaos, Tae-ha and Yeon-woo reconcile their differences. Tae-ha admits his feelings and asks for another chance, and Yeon-woo agrees. They share a passionate kiss, solidifying their commitment to each other. As the drama unfolds, the Deputy CEO makes a pivotal speech about managing his health, leading to a delay in the meeting to dismiss Tae-ha.

To say this single album is forgettable is an understatement. Gone are the days of MOMOLAND’s quirky circus concept, or their ear worm-esqe mega hits, and instead, we’re left with a 2015 nugu reject track that the producers found in the trash bin of their laptop a month before this mini was released. I couldn’t even begin to hum the melody despite finishing both songs just moments ago, that’s how boring and forgettable they were.
