Idk if you even have any thoughts about him, let alone the ones from the ask, but everyone'll probably ask about main characters and such, so why not throw in one of my fav MASH side characters? ((I've been rewatching the show and was surprised to find he shows up as early as season 2!))

1: sexuality headcanon: straight, but poly

2: otp: Igor/his wife/his very strong girlfriend, maybe Igor/the cook? lol

3: brotp: Enlisted man posse. The little man has to stick together!

4: notp: I honestly have never seen any Igor ships in the wild? I don't have any particularly strong feelings on this

5: first headcanon that pops into my head: He has reoccurring dreams about poisoning Franks food.

6: favorite line from this character: I love that he starts chanting with the crowd in Adam's Ribs. Also his subtle reactions when he's being tortured by Frank are always funny, like, saaaammmee

7: one way in which I relate to this character: The pain of being in a shitty food service job and having to face all the customer complaints. I'm not the one in charge!

8: thing that gives me second hand embarrassment about this character: posturing for an increase in rank

Hi anon! I’m ashamed to say I only discovered the power of lichantony when they came to Manchester United. I knew that they came to us from Ajax of course, just not how close they actually were in their time there. You know, funny that you should mention that! Peter is a very petty person, he's held grudges for a long ass time. For example, if we take MC2 into consideration, Peter is like 40 (ish) and he still distrusts Osborn's on principle after what Norman did to Gwen, that's like a 20-year-old grudge.

To a lesser extent he still had a grudge with Flash and the way things were in high school, but he did get over that one around the college days iirc. Point is, Peter is extremely petty and can hold grudges for a long, looong time! Though if he can make peace with it, then he lets it go relatively easily. I mean, he's on kinda good terms with Eddie Brock and the Venom symbiote, so...

🥺 Is there a certain type of moment or common interaction between your characters that never fails to put you in your feels? Yes, but it's not published yet, so I won't spoil it 🤐 All I can say is it's between Jude and Adeline, and that I've been staring at it for the last couple of months as it's the very first thing I wrote for the second part of the miniseries, and it always makes me emo🥲

😈 Has there been a point in a story where you did something just to be playfully mean to your readers? No, not yet 😂😂

🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc. Flowers for sure. If you think about then you'll notice that most of my fics take place at night - this I noticed a couple of days ago, actually, so this is probably the work of my subconsciousness 😂 I also like to think that most of my fics do carry the nostalgic vibe, but maybe it's just me

🎢 Which of your fics would you call your wildest ride? I'm gonna go with Where do broken hearts grow? because it's an emotional rollercoaster (for me) and I was very stressed about posting it. At that time I felt that I went too far for a fanfic and if I remember correctly that chapter was 4 different versions which were toned down a lot, but then I thought "meh, what the hell" and posted it at 2 am 😂

💖 What made you start writing? When I joined tumblr choices fandom there were already many fics, but most of them were still set in the original blades universe, and I wanted something different. I'm a sucker for the domestic vibes and angst (together, preferably, lol) so assuming the "write what you want to read" stance I just sat down and wrote my first fic which I am too ashamed to look at now 😁

🤗 What advice would you give to new fanfic writers that are just getting started? Don't worry too much > it's a great advice which I am yet to embrace 😂But seriously, it's just fanfic. Yolo it, people will love it

OKAY, OKAY, I GOT SO MANY but I GOTTA narrow it down.

1: While John & Jack's relationship is undeniably strained due to John's absence during Jack's early years, plus the whole "He's not my son" thing in 1899, but despite that, Jack genuinely loves his father, and it shows in the way Jack does things to connect with John or to get him to notice him (aka the whole 'going to hunt a bear thing'). Despite Jack's love for books, I can see him asking John to go out hunting or for John to offer to teach Jack stuff. It's their awkward way of saying "I want to spend time with you, I want to know you."

2: Jack takes a lot after Dutch and Arthur, that's a fact. But whether John likes it or not, Jack definitely took on a lot of traits from him. Their death seeker tendencies (as implied by his dialogue in gunfights. As he will usually shout something along the lines of “Go ahead! I got nothin’ to live for!”), their hair-trigger temper (which is usually of the more calm and collected variety since they rarely raise their voice or lose their calm) and finally, their skills. Jack is just as good as John was, or even better.

All in all, Jack is a carbon copy of John but with Arthur thrown into the mix. As an adult, he has his father's looks and personality but Arthur's intelligence. Even his default outfit is a combination of the clothes John and Arthur wear; the hat, shirt and belt are John's, while the brown/beige jacket, black pants and boots - while not an exact match - seem to be based on Arthur.

I love enemies to lovers in theory. It is ripe for conflict and interesting character development. It's about developing compassion and taking other perspectives into account. It's about the person you've shown cruelty towards knowing you the best. The thing is that I just haven't really found a lot of good shit? Even outside of fandom, I haven't found anything that really scratches this particular itch. Fic authors aren't required to write a novel or anything, and I support writing a good hate fuck, but I come to this trope hoping for more.

I mostly don't really like how people write kids tbh. They're complex people too. I'm also definitely not the audience for cuteness pandering, it just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I also think that while people may change in the process of raising a kid, it's also likely that they'll just continue to perpetuate their shitty behaviors, but now just inflict it on someone who can't escape. I don't really buy magic healing baby a lot of the time. I have read a few really good ones in my day though, and it can be sweet.

Probably because a lot of kids write these lol. Still fun when done right! I've also come across some pretty hard hitting stuff too, even if it's rarer.

Darla is really bad at rejection. She either reacts violently. To herself or others, OR she just breaks down. Completely despondent. She takes it personally. She has no idea how she can't

Andrew isn't as reactive. He can seem calm, and cool and like he took it well, only to wait when he's alone to fully express himself. Any frustration, sadness, or resentment will come up then. He does handle it better than his twin in a way but, it still takes him a long time to recover and move on.

What are your thoughts on the Gio Reyna/berhalter drama?

Coming at me with the hard-hitting questions, anon! I love it 👏😂 I wish I had a clear-cut answer for you, but the truth is, the first thing that comes to my finals-addled mind is that this entire situation is such a shitshow. At a time when we needed more unity than ever within the USMNT, we get this lmao. Just looking at what we know so far, there’s a lot to unpack, isn’t there? I mean, on one hand, we finally know why Reyna didn’t get much playing time. My personal opinion though? Gregg shouldn’t have let slip at a press conference that Gio’s (I know he didn’t mention him by name, but he might as well have) showings at training weren’t up to his standards, even off the record. You never know if what you say will find a way out of that room. Leaks can be found anywhere.

Ultimately, the irony of the whole situation is immense. It seems Gregg contradicted his own philosophy and didn’t keep things “in house” at all. Personally, I’m far from a fan of Gregggggg and his so-called “tactics”, so I’m trying really hard not to let my bias show here, especially given that the information we know is limited. But boyyy is it hard, especially considering the only information we have so far (to my knowledge) is the press conference leaks and Gio’s personal statement. Tbh, I understand Gio’s anger at being told he would play in a “very limited” role. Why wouldn’t he be pissed? I’m genuinely not sure what Gregggggg was thinking there. Reyna’s one of our best young, creative playmakers without a doubt.

That said, I think Gio’s statement was well-crafted and he handled the situation well; he took responsibility for his own actions. He owned the fact that his effort waned. If he is to be believed, he even apologized for this very thing already (not to just to Gregg, but to his teammates)! As far as I’m concerned, that apology should’ve been sufficient and the subject should’ve been resolved privately between him and Gregg. Clearly that’s not what happened. Keep in mind though, we have yet to hear Gregg’s response, so I’ll be curious to see what develops once we hear from him. One thing’s for sure: this isn’t gonna blow over anytime soon. Buckle your seatbelts, folks!
