this is my first ladrien fic ever 💞 i know the standards i high but i hope i did these two justice.

summary:

Ladybug attempts to visit her husband in the hospital - if only she wouldn't keep being kicked out by security.

“Surely you can make an exception,” Ladybug said exasperatedly, ignoring the staff’s stunned looks. “Since I’m the one who brought him in.” “We haven’t managed to contact his wife,” Wayhem explained. “As his next of kin, she would need to approve any additional visitors.” “Why don’t you just ask him?” “M. Dupain-Cheng is…” Wayhem trailed off, ignoring the way Ladybug drummed her fingers on the counter. “He’s unfit to make any type of legal decision just now. Trust me, I know him very well. He would want to see his wife first.” I’m his wife! Ladybug wanted to yell. Unfortunately, she had no way of proving that unless she walked out, detransformed, and walked back in. This episode really holds up. Also Kagami really got the short end of the stick during her intro and I think thats incredibly unfair. Aside from Glaciator 2.0 and Loveater. I would say this is peak Kagami

no worries, i haven't!

my main favourite (which is probably pretty obvious if you've seen my banner LOL) is ninoir! like, i don't particularly mind which arrangement (adrino, ninoir, etc.) but i think the idea of nino having a crush on chat noir and telling adrien about it is hilarious.

i would say number 2 is marcnath. not really much to say about that one i just think they're cute!

i also like julerose, i don't actively ship them but it feels wrong for them not to be paired lol

same thing sort of applies to djwifi, but i do obviously like adrino!

then comes my favourite lovesquare ships.... i'm not big on the lovesquare usually, especially not in the show, but i like the potential of ladynoir ( i've read some cute fics!!) and ladrien, again, can be hilarious.

i kind of like lukadrien (and wayhem x adrien for that matter) but that's just because i like fics where adrien is gay

Reverse Crush + Homeschooled Adrien + Aged Up

I've been thinking of writing a fanfic where all Adrien had been homeschooled in Collége which kicked off a whole series of events.

Chloe had never tried to bully Marinette out of her seat since Adrien was absolutely not coming to school. Alya didn't end up sticking for Marinette and didn't offer her the line™ at the start of the year. "All we need to do is nothing for evil to win."

Marinette gets the Miraculous and doesn't sneak it into Alya's bag since they aren't as close. Marinette doesn't chase after Alya with the Miraculous when she runs off to film the fight. Alya narrowly avoids the car that was thrown at her and a bit shaken, is more cautious about how she films the akuma. She sets up a system that allows her to film the fights remotely.

Alya and Marinette aren't as close. Building confidence in herself as Ladybug is slower going. She slowly develops a crush on Chat Noir for his steadfast support. She and Nino date for a while but it doesn't work out, they're still best friends.

The class isn't as close knit and Marinette doesn't run for class rep. She's closer to Jagged Stone, Clara Nightingale and other celebrities she's met along the way because she's more interested in making connections than romance. Marinette reaches out to the adults in her life more so when Lila starts lying up a storm about Jagged Stone she straightens things out.

Adrien didn't end up going to Collége. Plagg's become his support system, that cook uncle who likes to tease him often and bug him about his love life. Through Plagg Adrien learns to speak out against his dad but doesn't care much for school since he can meet kids his age other places.

Chat Noir is more outgoing than he is in canon and is learning how to build a healthy friendship with Ladybug. Chat and Ladybug are closer in this au since she has more time and he wants to stay out of the house for as long as possible. They teach each other a couple tricks to help deal with stress.They regularly hang out at night. If it was a slow day they patrol if it was a rough day they grab something to eat.

On the nights he's not with Ladybug, Adrien wanders around. Exploring the rooftop paths from below and takes up parkour. He eats whatever energy he lost from being Chat Noir at the 24/7 cafe Wayhem works at.

So now they're in Lycee.

Ladynoir: They met as heroes first, and have the sweetest friendship. It somewhat mirrors how Ninette is earlier in the book where Ladybug freezes up whenever she's alone with Chat but when push comes to shove they're friends first. Right now, that's enough for her.

Marichat: Chat Noir already met Marinette in Evillustrator, this time, her fangirling and fawning was genuine. He keeps an eye out for her since she is Ladybug's go to civilian for trouble and starts to fall for the cute things she does -like the nose scrunch!!!

Ladrien: Ladybug meets Adrien in the middle of an akuma attack, hiding behind a billboard of his face -Plagg's recharging- she finds this absolutely hilarious and all tension from being alone against the akuma exits the premises. They're best BroTP.

Adrienette: They barely interact. They don't officially meet until after the reveal. Honestly, it's just Adrien admiring her from afar because he doesn't have the time to talk to her as Chat Noir.
