It's happening, guys! It's a little late, but I finally got some inspo for my IYGALL 10th anniversary story thanks to @rarilight. Her latest story gave me a lot of ideas on what Coco's life might be like 10 years later and I really appreciate the feedback she's given me on this one. I may or may not end up retconning some things (I kinda wanna make this a story about Coco being an empty nester, so her second child with Scene may be cut) and I don't even really want to touch ships with a 10-foot pole, but otherwise, I'm excited to explore where everyone is after the events of the original. So check out my anniversary oneshot on my FiMFiction account (Quillamore), coming soon!

Fun fact: I very nearly called this story "All Was Well" as a way of clowning on That Author Who Shall Not Be Named and her notoriously terrible epilogue, lol. Something about making those the last words of her series and not exploring the characters beyond the nextgen kids and stuff never sat right with me, even as a child (and of course even less about her sits right with me now that I'm an adult). I hope to make this a much better, more fulfilling epilogue.

I always did say that if I were to write a sixth act for IYGALL, I'd call it "Love Like You" after the Steven Universe song. Now I finally get the chance to, thanks to you. You all are the "you" in my title and I can't thank you enough for the 10 years I had with you on FiMFiction.

The realization Castella is a more common word than I thought and I have essentially poisoned at least a hundred if not a thousand minds so that every time they see the word Castella they think of a orb makes me kick my legs and giggle.

But Castella would like cheesecake, I think New-York Style would be her favorite type.

Nextgen Elfilin is either absolutely terrified of you or sees you as a family figure, there is no in-between

Nightmare isn’t Metaknight’s creator, but his influence did have a hand in Metaknight’s creation. Nightmare and his overall power was around waiting in the shadows, and a passing nebula gathered the positive energy from Popstar as well as some of Nightmare’s strange negative energy, giving way to Metaknight’s birth on a nearby planet. So Metaknight is a Light matter being with some of Nightmare’s power in him.

Magolor’s curse tattoos are from the Master Crown which were applied to his body after his initial defeat via Kirby. So the dude literally had to claw his way through Magolor Epilogue with this curse on his body.

I really liked Magolor Eplilogue, it has a good story to explain how Magolor got back to Dreamland as well as some extra hints of lore we haven’t gotten. I enjoy the challenge and how I actually needed to grind if I wanted to beat the final two bosses. And unlike a lot of people’s opinions I’ve seen , the ending is great. It’s one of those “happy but not in the stereotypical happy ending way as there’s still more to conquer” endings. Sadly there was no Marx though, which I was hoping he’d cameo in the epilogue, so a good 8/10 or 8.5/10 for me.

When a Dark Matter being reaches a certain amount of power they do grow into beings like Zero, however to me and in the event of Nextgen Zero2 is a Soul form of Zero, similar to Drawica soul or Marx Soul.

Yep! I’m alive! And I I will continue to be active on this account with Kirby stuff. I may kinda fall off once I graduate from college (which will happen either in 2025 or 2026) considering that’s my jump into real adulthood but that’s a while from now.

Applejack Redesign

Last but not least is my Applejack redesign! She is the most drastic I think of the changes compared to the other Mane Six, mainly for just story purposes in my nextgen and then just for the design challenge!! I love a good green Applejack design!

High-Jack Apple, known colloquially to her friends and family as Applejack, is the middle child of the Apple Family. She has two siblings, Big Macintosh and Apple Bloom, and a grandmother, Granny Smith. She currently runs the family farm and business with her older brother and his family. Taller and stockier than the average pony, she is the peak of strength; both physically and emotionally. She is the backbone and pillar of strength in her family, and often her friends as well.

AJ presents as a cis-mare (she/her) bisexual.

As for her coat pattern, I updated the colors and gave her a bit more distinctive "buckskin" pattern, but green. I changed her hair color to be a mix between Bright Mac and Pear Butter's, making it a bit more cohesive, as the bright yellow I originally gave her in the first pass of a redesign was... certainly a choice. I much more like this pass I did with her! I also really like her with deep brown eyes... Just overall a very earthy and natural design!

Her cutiemark is a strong apple tree with a green and red apple and an apple blossom, to represent the family she realized was most important to her, and two apples on the ground to represent her parents who loved her so dearly.

Base is from a creator on DA but their account is no longer around so I cannot find the original credit :c

decided to make a pie chart of my kirby oc post distribution out of curiosity and its. ??? hm. rambling below

ok now onto my thoughts.

for starters. i was 100000% convinced chavra would have more posts than ricky so that surprised me. ricky is by all accounts my main kirby oc and my #1 og but i've struggled posting him as much and chavra just inevitably became a character i found easier to draw/more comfortable to post about due to internalized #cringe (ricky's story has heavy oc x canon elements unlike chavra's lol). it's why i've joked in the past that people who come across me might think chavra's my main kirby oc instead of ricky, which she isn't, although i do love her a lot. so i am pleased that ricky does at least have a somewhat noticeable presence on my account lol

second. i am flabbergasteddddd at the lack of dahlia family posting on here like omfg. 13 ricky posts 1 florence post 0 ARDONA MALLORY AND COSMIN POSTS WHAT THE HELL LOL. i think this is a time-old case of how much i think about a character not actually translating to how much i draw/write/post about them because the dahlia family is like The family in starstruck. they have literal real estate in my brain and are probably one of the most fleshed-out family units in the entire story. i could excuse the nextgen dahlias (teddy/estella/sucos kid) having not many posts but the current dahlias situation is downright egregious i need to fix this. actually minnie is included too since she's functionally a part of the dahlia family by association and later marriage. why am i not posting The doggirl .

third. im not gonna go too hard on myself since some of these characters have been in a prolonged beta state some without finalized designs and some without even proper names. but i think it might be an issue if over half of the starstruck characters have not ever been posted on here lol. like 20 have been posted at least once while at least 28 have never appeared on here including a good amount of major characters. sure some are on toyhouse but toyhouse is more of a storing site so like. i really need to overcome the cringe man

to conclude. you guys should do this too lmao i think its a very fun thing to ponder on and gives a lot of insight. and for the love of god if you're gonna make an incredibly fleshed-out fan universe and turbo hyperfixate on it maybe don't hesitate to post anything about it

What: This event is an informal fan week dedicated to celebrating and creating works about our beloved original characters in the Tokyo Mew Mew universe. Whether you’ve been here since the original manga or you’re just joining us with New, everyone is welcome to participate!

Best cloud technology will be adapted in the USAF F-35s

The U.S. Air Force wants to operate its aircraft in a more integrated way and has hired Lockheed Martin to research and develop a more advanced generation IT infrastructure based on cloud technology for its F-35 fighters.

The F-35 Lightning II is the most sustainable tactical aircraft there is, according to Lockheed Martin, but the U.S. Department of Defense wants to further optimize its fleet sustain and readiness performance.

On February 23, the Pentagon granted the designers and manufacturer of the F-35, Lockheed Martin, a $32.5 million contract modification from a previous order for a fleet of stealth aircraft.

This modification adds scope to design, develop and establish the F-35 NextGen Open Mission services. Lockheed will cover the use of modern cloud-based technologies and modern software methodologies for the Joint Strike Fighter program.

Cloud-based technologies are increasingly being invested and are beginning to play an integral part of the defense industry. The concept of shared IT infrastructure offers flexibility, resource efficiency and economy.

GlobalData states that the cloud allows sensors, services and agencies to interconnect, giving forces the necessary superiority to subdue enemies that are left behind in such force multipliers.

Lockheed Martin initially adapted its Autonomous Logistics Information System (ALIS) for its first launch of F-35s. However, this logistics system - which intended to monitor all aspects of the maintenance of the F-35 and the fleet in general - demonstrated inaccurate or absent data problems according to the Government Accountability Office (GAO) in 2020.

The successor system to ALIS, the Integrated Operational Data Network (ODIN), was introduced in 2021. Since then, ODIN has proven to be a great improvement.

"ODIN will be a cloud-native system that incorporates a new integrated data environment and a new set of user-centered applications; it will be a significant step to improve the support and readiness performance of the F-35 fleet."

As much as this system is working perfectly now, the fact remains that the Pentagon's modification suggests that it has new demands for the IT backbone of its largest vehicle asset.

What is known - from this modification and the success of ODIN - is that the cloud is identifiable as the future system of the F-35 fighter. But what cloud resources should Lockheed Martin dedicate to R&D with the investment of the U.S. government?

As the war in Ukraine has shown, opposing forces can deploy electronic warfare (EW) resources that depend on heavy interference outputs that can easily disrupt telecommunications. In such an environment, cloud computing would face serious challenges.

Part of Lockheed's development modification for F-35 logistics may seek to strengthen the security of its cloud infrastructure.

There has already been a growing interest in this area in the first quarter of 2023. On February 23, NV5 Global acquired Axim Geospatial, which offers "cloud services" and "critical infrastructure and security". This acquisition demonstrates the growing concern for cloud security in the defense and intelligence industry.

In addition, another important target of the research concern would be to improve the continuous flow of data collected from the sensors.

The aerial objects shot down over North America so far this year have given the high-altitude surveillance market greater attention. The Chinese spy balloon particularly attracted U.S. concern about protecting its intelligence, especially critical data.

It seems reasonable that attention should be paid to the data flow between the sensors and the broader cloud network.

The GlobalData report on Cloud Computing in Defense tells us that the U.S. Air Force (USAF), which relies heavily on the continuous flow of data from various sensors, is changing the operational approach from the sensor-shooter cycle to one of data for decision. It is much broader than it refers to the central capacity of this period, the collection and analysis of data, to make an informed decision.

If this modification tells us anything, it is that the demand for cloud-based technologies and their secure maintenance should only increase as we enter a phase of modern war that uses data as an asset to be exploited.
