while we dont know when the next style savvy will be released and if it will be a switch game or a mobile game or both (or two different games or if they’ll even scrap the idea for one or both of them)

but im kinda glad the one that was apparently planned for the 3ds got canned....like i get people still play and like the 3ds but at the time the switch was doing very well and it wasnt hard to tell that people were tired of directs that would go ALSO HERES THE 3DS....

like its cool that it still got support but ppl were ready to move on (not to mention some games that came out just tanked...)

like a new game sure we all want it but if it was still on the 3ds it’d probably only make the series suffer and it...really doesnt feel like nintendo cares too much about it at least here in the states (specifically stating the states bc not only were the games eventually digital only but they stopped splitting the translation between the american english and european english versions)

i think that’d only make the series dead in the water (or maybe we’d see a possible style savvy 6 on switch who knows)

plus stuff like customization in games has been changing since the last game came out (examples: acnh, splat 3, scarvio and even the story of seasons games) so who knows....maybe this will reach the style savvy devs...

Salmon Bagel Sandwich

In ACNH: 1. Get the recipe by fishing up a Salmon. 2. Then cook on a stove with 2 Flour and 1 Salmon.

In Real Life: From New York, United States

Species of Choice: Atlantic Salmon traditionally, but now it can be any salmon species, including farmed species. It can be pricey, but there are many companies that sell smoked salmon in a package you can pick up at your grocery store.

Other Ingredients: -A bagel (whichever kind you prefer. Since the salmon has such a robust taste, I typically go with plain or poppy seed bagels) -Spreadable Cream Cheese -Red onions, capers, tomatoes (all optional, to taste)

There is no recipe here - cut the bagel in half, toast it if you like that, then spread the cream cheese on both sides and lay a few pieces of the smoked salmon on top. Put whatever other topping you like - most common are those mentioned above. Eat open, or you can be an animal and eat it like an actual sandwich. I'm not here to tell you what to do LMAO

This one made my husband and I giggle, because this is such an American thing, but more specifically, a 'Jewish in New York City' thing. Made us feel very seen, y'know?

Now, if you want to be perfectly authentic, we call this "Lox and Shmear", "lox" coming from a mix of proto-European and Scandinavian words that refer to salmon cured in saltwater brine to preserve it. Lots of cultures found their own ways to preserve meats and fish, such as smoking and salting. Many of those techniques follow us into the present day deli. "Schmear" is just referring to the cream cheese. The whole sandwich is a mish-mash of foods from all over the world, a perfect example of the "melting pot" that New York City is.

This is a very "big, strong taste" kind of meal, so if you like pickles, deli meats, and all sorts of cured and preserved things like that, I think you'd like lox. I'm actually not a fan of those other things, but I love lox. It was always a treat my father brought home for Sunday Bagel Breakfast. He'd get *just* five slices of lox from the deli, one slice for each family member and that was it. If you get it "fresh" from a deli, it can be a bit pricey, but it's so worth it. On rare occasions, I'll get lox for myself and make this or some version of it at home. Tastes like brine and nostalgia.

to be honest, oc krp is proof that it's the subculture and not the race because the whole idea to write in an au, often in settings that come from media that aren't south korea (harry potter, vampire diaries, castlevania, general supernatural premises that come from different cultures, sol that's largely based on european or american cultures, crime that's largely depicted as based on european or american cultures, acnh, zombies (the whole modern concept of zombies comes from america (the original lore is from haiti) and the idea of zombie apocalypses also comes from america, the point is it's not korea) i mean the list goes on and on), proves it has nothing to do with the face claims. it's just supported by an already digital, active subculture. this isn't me saying aus aren't in south korea or utilize south korean lore, just that it's really not as common as the rest, in concept with everything else.
