if any of you are still feeling weird about that infamous interview, here is what alex said about it (and why that ashley girl doesn't like him). i really want to point out that what alex says here is the exact same thing us, miles fans have been saying since forever. so, if you are a fan of alex, but throw shit at miles, just remember that your favourite also supports him. and maybe think twice before starting arguments with miles fans and keep in mind that alex has the same opinion about it all.

Alongside Arctic Monkeys, Turner has a long-term side-project called The Last Shadow Puppets with his best friend, the Birkenhead singer-songwriter Miles Kane. During the promotion for their last album, the two did an interview with a female journalist from the music webzine Spin. Turner was being his usual unforthcoming self, so Kane attempted to break the ice with some groan-inducing banter. This included inviting the journalist up to his hotel room when she asked what he was doing after the interview, which, in hindsight, was pretty stupid (he realised as much the next day and emailed her to say sorry). The result, though, was a lengthy op-ed calling out Kane’s unprofessionalism and the misogyny of the music industry at large. Personally, I found some of her complaints against him a tad flimsy — holding eye contact for too long, high-fiving her, “yanking” her in “for a not entirely consensual kiss on the cheek” as she said goodbye, and not least the idea that interviewing a rock star is ever supposed to be an exercise in professionalism. What did Turner make of it all? He sighs. “I think he made a joke he shouldn’t have made and realised he had misjudged the situation.” I thought it was a bit OTT, I tell him. “Yeah, I’m not sure it was deserving of that response honestly, but you just can’t make a joke like that.”

nothing is really going on at the moment tbh, cuz they broke up a pretty long while ago, but the issue is the album (if that's what you're referring to) and taylor swift herself.

Context: dating history

Basically she and matty had been friends for a few years (there are rumors of them hooking up ig in 1989 era maybe, but I don't really care enough to believe shit like that). Apparently he had also been pining for her (according to stuff he said in interviews and tweets) for years, but again, you can still chalk it up to rumors if you wanna.

The thing is that post her breakup with joe alwyn, she started dating him (in like april I think) [there had been dating rumors of them since 2014 tho, and again in March 2023] and the fandom kinda got divided.

Context: what matty healy did

Matty healy (you prolly know this) is basically racist, sexist, antisemitic, homophobic and God knows what else I have missed out or not been aware of. He did shit like doing the nazi gesture on stage, mocking asian accents, tastelessly making fun of ice spice on her race and bodyshaming her, laughing and basically confirming that he watches violent rape porn of black women on a site that is known to be highly problematic and force their actors (gender neutral) to do things they dont consent to (there was also an actress who was assaulted or something but im not informed on it). Even when he was called out on stuff like this, he accused people (who were poc, btw) of overreacting.

Context: taylor and activism

Taylor had also, in the past (lover era, and miss Americana the doc) had talked about how she had been too quiet about political issues and politics itself for too long, that she understands her influence and power in society, and that she "needs to be on the right side of history" and even specifics such as that she thinks it's spineless to go on stage and say "happy pride month" and not acknowledge the political oppression that queers in USA were facing (something about a bill or the republican party idk man I'm not american, i dont remember but i did research when i watched the doc tho). She has claimed she was gonna be clear about where she stands (many republicans had considered her to be one, and many thought she's conservative or something, but she was always quiet about it, until the lover era). However, she just stopped that activism after the lover era, and went back to being quiet on where she stands (I've seen many swifties refer to the lover era as the activism era) and hasn't spoken about anything substantial really. She did some things like post a black square with 13 hearts during blm, and stuff that every celeb who wasn't openly a pos did, but that's kinda it. Even as a self proclaimed feminist, she didn't speak up on issues such as roe v wade, or about an issue regarding drag queens despite having them in yntcd, or talking about trans/queer rights until she was in a blue state (im not an American, I just like to keep up a little with stuff in usa cuz it's always up in my face sadly, and thus i cant be specific, but anyways, correct me if I'm wrong, or if I missed something).

So even after saying she'll be vocal, she was just... not. And that's basically her on politics or giving a shit about minority communities.

Context: Fandom's reaction

Swifties were extremely disappointed that taylor CHOSE to associate with a man like this, and there were fans calling her out, and she received backlash, too.

Most of these swifties were poc (myself included) and they felt hurt that an artist that they not just supported and developed such a deep connection with, but also financially supported for years, would have such disregard for them. Not just was she dating him, but she kept saying things such as "I have never been happier in all aspects of my life" or saying "I love you" or "uk who you are" in romantic songs on the tour, which was just adding insult to injury. She also did a collab with ice spice (which was completely out of nowhere, and the collab itself seemed badly made and rushed), which fans and others speculated to be a pr cover up for the fact that matty healy had mocked her (many ppl also believed that it was too quick for it to be a pr cover tho).

Now, in the fandom, when poc swifties were calling her out on dating mh, (mostly) white swifties started harassing poc swifties for doing so, or saying that they are hindering with her happiness or some bs about it being "just a fling" (again, myself included). They said it's the same as seeing a friend get out of a long-term relationship and make bad dating choices, and poc swifties should let it go (as if taylor is our close personal friend). In a mostly white fandom, poc swifties felt alienated and sidelined.

Ofc, taylor never addressed any of this backlash, and after she broke up with him, there were articles saying that sources say (which mostly means her pr team atp) that her breakup had nothing to do with his controversies or behavior.

The album release (lyrics, references and reaction)

Now, with the release of ttpd, contrary to what most of the fandom believed, most of the songs on both the albums are believed to be (and heavily hinted on) about matty healy. These include 4 songs- "ttpd", "but daddy I love him", "I can fix him (no really I can)", and "guilty as sin?"

Ttpd, the title track, talks about mh being "a tattooed golden retriever" (wtf) and about him love-bombing her, and her pining after him, thinking about marriage and shit. But daddy I love him and I can fix him, are basically that no one supported her dating decision and she's claiming that she loves him oh so goddamn much, but more importantly, her talking about her fans' reactions. Specifically, describing her poc fans to be "vipers" and "judgemental creeps" who hate her and them being hurt as "bitching and moaning", and basically took the side of the (white) fans who defended her, indirectly. She described his racist bs as "crazy" and said shit like she could "handle a dangerous man." She also has another song, "Guilty as sin?" and while I genuinely don't give a fuck about what she chooses to do in her private life, unless it is problematic, it is about her fantasizing about being with that racist man while being in a long term relationship with joe alwyn. She sings about how she wants him and wants to be with him... in multiple ways, iykyk. Again, out of context, I love this song so much, but that doesn't erase the context, right?

She also has a song "I hate it here" where she says the following lines:

"My friends used to play a game where

We would pick a decade

We wished we could live in instead of this

I'd say the 1830s but without all the racists and getting married off for the highest bid"

And while there are many reasons why this line by itself is racist (romantisization of a time that was extremely shitty to many communities, most of which she is not a part of, showing herself to be "oh look I'm so woke I still remember the bad things even when I romanticize bad eras in history" which is something you expect from an ignorant white high schooler maybe, not a 34 y/o billionaire who claims to be well-read, etc.) but taylor swift herself saying these is adding insult to injury cuz she has shown time and time again she has no problem with racism (she kept quiet when antonia gentry, a black actress, received hate and racist threats by swifties because of a line BY NETFLIX that taylor didn't like, and she shouldn't ofc, but it wasn't the actress' fault), or associating herself with them (matty healy, for example). It is hypocritical to write something like that after writing an album about pining after a man and his "dangerousness," which is just bigotry. Way to romanticise racism, sexism, and antisemitism, taylor.

Even now, after listening to the album, she clearly doesn't like mh anymore, NOT because of his actions, but because he broke her heart, showing that she still enables and is okay with everything he did.

And that's kind of it (ig) about her and matty healy. I'm not really sure exactly which part you wanted to know, so this is just a gist of it all. Hope it helps :)

People are too obsessed about Nick and his supposed "hate or indifference" towards RWRB and Taylor, but at the same time (not that I'm justifying their toxic behavior at all, but I understand where it comes from) Nick is very mercurial on social media with Taylor and fans expected him to post The Awardist podcast cause he's in it, so why not post it in his IG stories? I don't read too much into it but other people do, unfortunately. Also, as someone who has seen A LOT of interviews of Taylor and Nick, Taylor has been asked like one time about Nick, whilst Nick was asked about Taylor a few times while promoting M&G, but Taylor has liked a lot of posts and commented on said posts from Nick's IG, so people see that as support and when they see Nick not reciprocating they create their own narratives... And again, I don't read too much into social media interactions cause that's not real life at all, but that's where people's doubt for Nick come from. For me social media interactions are kind of irrelevant given how it's obvious they spent time with each other and other people at that Oscars Gala last year and at the Vanity Fair after party. What do you think?

I think when it comes down to it: Nick is very mercurial on social media in general. This isn’t specific to Taylor. He only likes the most specific of tweets, he follows/doesn’t follow the oddest people on instagram and engages rather infrequently.

You mention Nick not posting the podcast but Nick has done like 5-6 podcasts in the last month about his other projects and he doesn’t post them to his stories either. So I can’t understand anyone being hung up on it….

I will just NEVER consider social media to be an indicator of how good a friend someone is.

And going back to the original ask, people are putting so much stock into instagram interaction and because Taylor is hyping his friends on instagram and Nick isn’t and as a result, people have used that in their hate campaigns against him.

But why can’t we appreciate the distinct ways the show support? People build up how Taylor is on instagram while not acknowledging how supportive and enthusiastic Nick is in the press about Taylor. Which is so crazy because quotes from Nick saying Taylor is a great actor who is smart and understands his characters? THAT is press you want! Especially coming from someone who is having a moment.

Nicks *gushes* about Taylor in many interviews, beyond what is asked. He praises him unprompted too. When people say Taylor never gets asked about Nick: but being asked “what was it like working with an actor?” “Or who are some actors you’ve learned from?”

Those are opportunities! And like… it’s not Taylor’s style as it relates to Nick for some reason. Which a reasonable person can accept!

I actually think it has something to do with their “insincere public persona”. Nick is seemingly a little like that with his male costars in interviews (Tony too) but whenever he’s asked about them and they aren’t around he’s sooo lovey about them 😭😂

Long story short: no one should be entertaining this “Nick is an unsupportive friend who doesn’t care about RWRB”. If fans want to dissect that then please go ahead and look at all the above mentioned things as well for a reality check!

I don’t think they are “talk every day besties”. But I also think a lot of that has to do with being very different personalities and speeds. I also think the fandom never really appreciated how much stuff Nick had going on last year before the film came out, and how much he’s had going on the past few months. He can’t be at every event - he isn’t cut out for it!

Yeah, I do think it's PR, but I don't know if it's PR. Nobody does. Nobody knows whether it's PR or real. The reason I say "if it's PR" is because I don't know for a fact that it is.//

See I think it started as PR but turned ‘real’ enough to get married. It can still be real with PR but if they are just PR they are not doing a great job at selling it - where are all the articles and I mean constant, the endless pap pics (think Taylor PR), her actually posting recently on IG, appearing at numerous events alone or with him. There is nothing to a level that indicates a PR relationship to me that’s just one of the reasons I don’t buy totally into a PR relationship.🤷🏾

I get what you are saying, but considering Chris's past relationships and behavior, much more has happened than it used to with his exes. Chris had never posted scare video dumps or pictures and videos of his then-current partner on Instagram before Alba. Based on everything that had happened with his ex, where is the privacy? I doubt if this were something real; there would've been so many articles about their wedding, for example. Want to keep it secret and private, yet there are hundreds of articles out about it? And yet you talk about it at Comic Con? You are either private or not. Chris had always been a private person, especially when it came to his relationships, and they still want to present themselves as if they are, but they aren't. Nothing is private about this thing.

And yeah, he was also seen with Minka on a number of occasions, which seemed like too much at the time, but at least they looked happy together. Do Chris and Alba ever? Because every single time they are spotted together and aren't posing for a photo that could've been the 100th one posted, they look like they don't even want to be around each other. This is one of the reasons why it's hard for me to believe they are real. They don't look happy. And then adding all the weird stuff and the fact that they are trying so hard to prove this is real.

They don't do too much, but more than he'd ever done with anybody, and yeah, maybe I would understand this if he was so happy with her, but he looked way happier with any of his past girlfriends. He just wants to do the bare minimum (for understandable reasons), and he doesn't seem to want to sell this whole thing.

Talking about Taylor. Are they PR, or is she just too famous, or is he just comfortable with the attention that comes from dating her? I don't know that much about their relationship or their past behavior to make a statement, but she obviously wants to support her boyfriend and be there for him. She is way more famous than Chris, Alba, or Travis, so yeah, her going to a football game will make a big noise, especially now that they are seemingly dating. Travis seems to be okay with being seen with her, and he doesn't care about the fact that there are many people waiting for them, watching, or whatever. She doesn't want to keep this relationship private, and that's okay. They are fine with being out together and talking about each other. She was in a private relationship with Joe, but let's be honest, Taylor herself was never a private person, which is okay.

I feel like the two situations aren't even comparable considering that Taylor was never a really private person, unlike Chris, and even if it's PR, Taylor and Travis at least look like two people who enjoy being around each other. They look like two people who, at least, like each other.

Coney Island

To Zane Lowe (at 36mins) Taylor talked about Coney Island being about male regret and place everyone wanted to be but now with the lights are off. In this Lyric video Taylor referenced Harry's winding wheels, a metaphor for soulmates. It is co-written with William Bowery, Joe has no credit.

Winding Wheel

The Winding Wheel is a Ryan Adams’ song. (Ryan made a rock cover album of 1989). There is a post about it here. Ryan described it as a metaphor for an “ultimate soulmate”.

13 December 2013, Harry posted 'better still be my winding wheel' on Taylor's birthday. Say don't go was written 2 weeks later.

27 February 2015, the first photos of Taylor with Calvin were posted and Harry posted an overgrown winding wheel to IG

This is very long, this song hits so many classic Haylor themes that its dense. When it is all written out like this it boggles my mind people would think it is about another muse or several.

Taylor also said on radio about Coney Island:

"Aaron Dessner sent me this track that he created with his brother Bryce, and I wrote the lyrics and the melody with William Bowery. I was coming from a place of somebody who’s been in a relationship for decades and wakes up one day & realizes that they have taken their partner for granted. She also said ships in the nights about Exile in that interview and in the lyrics of Willow.

Live performances

Coney Island has been played live once, 28 April 2023 in Atlanta. This is one day before the High Infidelity anniversary of April 29. The other song was The Other Side of the Door which has similar theme of wanting a lover back and regret for ruining a relationship.

The opening verse does not pull punches, it ends with 'if I can't relate to who then who am I related to?' Taylor and Harry have a lot of shared history, similar careers and while no one is as big as Taylor Harry is in a small group who can relate. They have respectively sung about being each others soulmate. To loose that is devastating.

Breaking her soul looking is similar to:

Illicit affairs "And you know damn well / For you I would ruin myself / …a million little times"

Slut! "And if they call me a slut / You know it might be worth it for once"

And if this is the long haul How'd we get here so soon? Did I close my fist around something delicate? Did I shatter you?

This again refers to this concept that even apart they are each others person, so to feel they aren’t connecting is a loss

Closing her fist around something Delicate is a reference to the song, which is also about Harry, more on why here. Shattering him is a reference to Falling, to be so lonely. and possibly renegade. Shattered pieces are also in mirrorball.

The fast times, bright lights describe their life, the place to be:

The lifetime achievement having no meaning without this muse reflects a theme that Harry and Taylor have sung about the cost of fame in Mirrorball, your on your own kid and Sign of the Times. Taylor talks about the line of the mall before the internet because it was the one place to be to Zane Lowe, linked above. I love this line, they were the one place to be, the two biggest pop stars in love. I also find a parallel in this line and August, "And say, "Meet me behind the mall" August being the other person, not Harry and Taylor, they meet behind the mall which Harry and Taylor are.

Gift-wrapped suburban dreams refers to Suburban Legends, where Harry and Taylor are the idols of suburbia. "We were born to be suburban legends [...] We were born to be national treasures/ When you told me we'd get back together"

Similar to the centerfold line, not winning you an arcade ring is saying sorry for not getting back together as they had thought. Falling is Harry's perspective on this belief that Taylor would stay with someone else. This time I will choose SOTB as my sequel track. ;)

In the unreleased Hunger Harry indicates they may have broken up on his birthday "We could ruin a perfect night / On my birthday I made you cry". This may have been in 2015, they had been seen together in late 2014, up to 2 weeks before Harry's birthday. Then Taylor was in Nashville on his birthday and she met CH 3 weeks later.

Hallways are also in 10 songs, generally meeting in them, but here they break up. Taylor also mentioned the birthday line to Zane Lowe as the album came out just before her birthday.

Did I paint your bluest skies the darkest grey? A universe away And when I got into the accident The sight that flashed before me was your face But when I walked up to the podium I think that I forgot to say your name

The accident is a reference to the Snow mobile accident in Is it over now? and OOTW: "Remember when you hit the brakes too soon / Twenty stitches in a hospital room / When you started crying, baby, I did too / But when the sun came up, I was looking at you"

To me, I forgot to say your name at the podium is a reference to Taylors 2013 VMA speech where she said "I'd like to say the person who inspired this song, you know exactly who you are, and now I have one of these!" Harry and Taylor were both musicians, the inspired each other and as evidenced by still writing to each other 10 years later this speech diminished that.

Harry’s unreleased Talk and includes “You forgot my name / Sick and tired of me, I can feel the heat” which, no one forgets his name so I take it as referring to the podium.

I Am So Proud of You

Goodness gracious! How do I even begin writing this post that is filled with nothing but praise and love for one of my favorite actors, Taylor Zakhar Perez? Like proud is an understatement for how I feel right now because Taylor is finally getting the recognition and love he deserves.

To provide context, I woke up to a notification from IG saying that Taylor posted a story and he posted a list from media company TheWrap and I saw that he was included in the "Latino Power List: 45 Trailblazers Making Waves in Hollywood" list and the moment I read that, I felt immense pride and joy for him.

Even the mere idea of Taylor being included in the list alongside some of my other favorite actors and actresses who may have been in the industry longer than him like Jenna Ortega, Zoe Saldana, Pedro Pascal and Selena Gomez is enough for me to feel immensely happy and proud. I'm so glad he is finally getting the recognition he deserves!

To add to that, Taylor is also going to be honored at the upcoming SCAD Savannah Film Festival on October 27, 2023 because of his portrayal of Alex Claremont-Diaz in Red, White and Royal Blue. That only adds to the immense amount of pride and happiness I (and the rest of the TZP Squad) feel.

I can't say or write words to fully encapsulate how I feel about Taylor getting all the love and recognition he deserves so much. Like I'm so proud of him and my heart is so full!

Guarantee you, the moment the actors' strike ends (which I hope will be soon), I will need every BTS footage Taylor's got from RWRB (I know it's kind of too much to ask, but I will humbly request it) and other things. Kind of overreacted there, but it is what it is.

Also, I will be seated for every future movie and series he will be in. Genres will not matter to me as long as he gets to explore characters and genres and expand his filmography. Disney needs to talk to him about a possible Flynn Rider role in the upcoming live-action Tangled movie or maybe Marvel can cast him as an X-Men character. I also want to see his screenplays and film ideas brought to life, like if they can be turned into indie films, I will watch them.

Outside of TV and film, he can do as much philanthropy as he wants and I will support him. I will buy his book if he ever writes one or one of his skincare items if he ever makes one. I will stream music from him if he decides to release some. He can travel the world and explore culture and I will appreciate every single bit of it. The possibilities are just endless.

To be fairly honest and keep this short, I'm just going to be one of those people who will manifest great things for Taylor because he is one of the kindest and most talented people out there. He is one of the best gems I have discovered and I have no regrets being one of his fans.

Being part of the TZP squad has been so much fun and sharing so much mutual love and appreciation for Taylor is just a pleasant experience.

Once again, Taylor Zakhar Perez deserves nothing but love, support and adoration and I will forever be happy and proud of him finally getting the well-deserved recognition he has worked hard for.

ah, the old blue flag. every few months i remember this manga and i feel pure anger deep in my heart. long post incoming! i know a lot of people like it so i'll preface this by saying that this is my opinion, you can still like it, let's hold hands and read manga together. anyway, blue flag. my main problem is that it feels like something that was written for heterocis people to sympathize with lgbt's people's existence instead of something that actually included lgbt's people's experiences and opinions. all you have to know is that there's this scene where a character makes a list of lgbt songs or smth like that and one of them is shake it off by taylor swift. yeah. i said this yesterday but it's not like i think it's bad for lgbt manga to be educational, that's totally ok. there are works like 'i think our son is gay' that are very good at that. the whole plot of the manga is that a mom finds out her son is gay and it follows how she learns about sexuality, lgbt issues, etc etc (it's also told from her pov). its purpose clearly is to be educational for a non-lgbt audience. with blue flag... it felt like they were trying to explain lgbt 101 to me and failing. it raised a lot of questions about sexuality that in the best of cases the author couldn't give an answer to (and sometimes it's ok not to, but we weren't dealing with queer theory here, the question was like. do gay ppl deserve rights), and in the worst of cases just fumbled the resolution completely. the best example for that is how a character's outing got handled. spoilers here ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ but man. the mc gets outed by his homophobic friend, later it is revealed that this friend is homophobic bc he got assaulted by a man (wow gay predator trope, never seen that before), and the manga could've taken 10000 different directions to deal with that but what did the author decide to do? yeah -> homophobia is just a different opinion! we have to understand where both sides are coming from <3 hell no. die. (it was awful and heartbreaking to read btw). more big spoilers ‼️ another thing that made me violent (and i mean it), was how the manga handled another character's sexuality. one of the main characters, a girl whose name i can't remember, spent the entire manga rightfully struggling with coming to terms with the fact that she liked women. she explicitly said she couldn't like men if i remember correctly. well. here comes a time skip. she's married to a man. how. what. and ofc i'm not saying she can't be bi, but she was clearly written as a lesbian. why on earth is she married to a man then i wanna KILLLLLLLLL. anyway the ending also sucked. in the time skip it's implied the main boys were dating (idek how we got there, ig we skipped the entire sexuality journey of one of them) but it was told from a 1st person pov for some reason so we literally don't see them together (i wonder if it was too gay for shonen jump). when this manga was ongoing, even when it ended, people were promoting it to hell and back, saying how good the "representation" was. i assure you i never saw a manga that centered lgbt characters be talked about THAT much, except maybe shimanami tasogare. it seriously was huge. it was a lot of people's first approach to lgbt manga as well. why people think lgbt manga peaked with ao no flag is beyond me. last year a mutual made a post talking about it and they made a great point which was that blue flag would've never gotten that popular if it wasn't a shonen jump manga and i totally agree. and i'll be bitter about it being licensed where i live while shimanami tasogare isn't until the day i die. but yeah that's a summary of my issues with it. obviously i don't recommend it lol

Can we talk about tzp? I’m glad to have found your blog since you seem to have the same opinions as I do about this situation (as opposed to the Twitter fans who want to force people not to talk about it lol).

I have to say, I absolutely LOVE that he is gay and married for a very long time. I’m so happy for him. His hubby seems like a cool dude too. They are CUTE! That being said, selfishly I wish he’d be more open about it. It bothers me that there’s this elephant in the room now and it’s not being spoken about as if it’s a bad thing! The fans are the worst! A fan met tzp yesterday in London. This fan said he was walking alone with his friend (lol…obv his husband). In the comments someone said “oh how cool! Glad you met him! Was the friend his husband?” And within hours the whole post was deleted. Last weekend he went to Joey Kings wedding with Garrett and a friend of joeys posted a Polaroid of them. Someone reposted it but so many people were commenting “delete this!!” I don’t understand why these fans are intent on keeping this info buried. Instead of just saying “wow that’s great congrats!” and moving on they just want it ignored.

I’m not really sure what my point is with all of this, it just kind of bothers me. Sure he’s entitled to privacy and I imagine he wants to protect his hubby since he’s not a public figure. I respect that. But trying to come off as straight feels a bit problematic. And fans saying he’s been outed is just ridiculous. Apparently he was very out before kissing booth and at that point deleted things and took his ring off. Which makes me sooo sad. But he did post his man several times since then. Just not a whole lot like before. I noticed he hasn’t posted him at all since the movie came out and he’s blown up. It’ll be interesting to see what he does now. He hasn’t deleted him off his ig so that’s good. They did, however, delete the video that people dug up of tay using the husband’s last name. Not sure what to make of that. Anyway I don’t think he needs to do anything or announce anything. But I wish he would post him more!

By the way it seems literally everyone in his professional life knows. First of all G went to London and hung out with T, Nick and some other cast (there was a picture), the director and a couple of the actors follow G, all the the photogs, fashion people who work with tay follow G, etc. So he’s clearly very out. Just not to fans. But I’m not understanding why I guess…

Of course we can talk everything tzp! He looked absolutely gorgeous last night! It's not fair, it looks so effortless! Styled by harry lambert too. He's killing it, both him and nick are. I'm so happy for them!

I'm sort of on the fence here. One one hand (what i'd like to believe) is that they're going for a glass closet. It's the perfect example of what a glass closet would look like. He hasn't really commented on his sexuality, but he's not afraid to be himself (manners and all) and have his husband tag along to events and posting him on ig. He just let things be without denying or confirming a thing.

On the other hand, it seems like they are trying (at least some effort) to make him seem straight (or not married to a man at least), deleting the taylor gerson video, taking off his wedding ring and not coming clean after being out for years before. I don't think this will work very well and for long. Fans and the queer community knows. The evidence is there and easy to find. Deleting things off the internet once people know is impossible.

The fans are guarding his closet for him (as we've also seen fans do for h and l - it's annoying as fuck...). It leads to fan policing, lying and the elephant in the room is growing. If his husband comes with him to events and are seen with him by fans, they're clearly not that set on hiding it. If they're pictured publically together fans and uas should be able to share it. Take cues from them, if they wanted to hide they would.

So since i'm not totally sure what they're going for here (closeting or glass closet) and i'm not clear on tzp's ambition, it's hard to have an opinion on why they are doing what they're doing. Other than the obvious reasons celebs are closeted in Hollywood.

What's the point of th's supposed popularity if no one is listening to his music? He's basically an influencer at this point. The Kardashians have more ig followers than Beyonce and Taylor Swift, but they could easily lose those followers, unlike Beyonce and TS, who have the most loyal fan bases in the world. I think it has to do with everyone's obsession with "GP". Kths started that conversation around some grammys red carpet, I don't remember what year it was when they said "locals" kept asking if taekook were a couple. That's the first time I remember being taken aback and confused about this "gp" and "locals" validation. Then it was because he was in that kitchen show and they all went "omg gp darling this, gp darling that". And it hasn't stopped since solo era started. Do you have any idea of how tired I am of reading "gp" - take a shot everytime you go on army/solos spaces and read those letters.

Nobody cared about "gp" when BTS got all those billboard hot 100 positions and streams thanks to the huge fandom. As I've said before, BTS had a huge fandom for a while but only became somewhat "popular" (as in, random people would know about them - oh sorry, I meant precious GP would know about them) after butter or maybe my universe. Mind you, I've never in 6 years heard anyone in real life say "BTS". Literally Never. Meanwhile I just started this new job a month ago and I've already heard 3 different groups of people of all ages talk about Taylor. I've got students umproptly coming up to me and say "Miss, I've been listening to Taylor Swift songs to practice my English".

You'll see.. kpop fans are stereotyped as white, chubby/obese high school girls with blue hair who spend too much time online daydreaming about celebrities and have no life and get no sex. The truth is that some fans -even if they themselves are white chubby blue haired girls- are obsessed with not being associated to that stereotype. They don't want Taehyung's fans to be some miserable, lonely losers. They want him to have "LOCALS" admiration and respect. When the members opened their own ig accounts, those interactions were a gateway to that, mostly because instagram is you know.. theee place for the skinny, tanned, successful, pretty LOCALS.

I've always thought the whole obsession with "gp" and "locals" was so stupid. There's absolutely nothing wrong in having a big fandom. That's literally how BTS came to be what they were until last year, and armys weren't praying and begging for "gp" support. Taylor gets the numbers she gets because yes, many people around the world know her name and willingly listen to her music; but also because she has a huge ass fanbase. She's been building that fanbase for more than a decade. Three years ago, if you listened to Taylor you would've been considered a pathetic, lonely loser too.

At the end of the day, all this popularity talk it's just fans' own insecurities and their itch to distance themselves and the idol from the image of a "fandom" because they know what everyone thinks of people who are part of fandoms. Ironically, most BTS fans started out as people who didn't know anything about kpop -gp- and two years later they're getting hit tweets calling Jennie a lazy slut and saying "my fave is so popular amongst locals."

Taehyung stans clung to his ig interactions because they thought having the likes of "locals" made him more important or better in every way than the other members. However, in music, it's always better to have a huge fandom that will make eight hours long playlists of your song and play it multiple times a day -investing their own money and time on you- than it is to have random people liking your ig posts. And if what I'm saying it's not enough, take his china bar activities as an example. They bought almost a million albums; there's no 800k "locals" that would've bought his album.

As a life-long Chiefs fan and KC native all I can say is this T*ylor shit is fucking annoying. I know you talk to a LOT of people in the fandom, so you may not remember, but I'm a fellow Sw*ftie hater (maybe that's too harsh but idgaf) and I didn't think it was possible to get more annoyed with this woman than I've been since I stopped being a fan in 2018. Boy, was I WRONG. I'm a die-hard Chiefs fan. I loved my team even when we sucked and couldn't make it to the playoffs (before Patrick Mahomes), so to see EVERYONE make the game on Sunday about her is beyond frustrating. People (Sw*fties) are seriously saying she's the only reason we won. Like we haven't won multiple AFC championships and two Super Bowls in the past three years. Maybe I'm just taking it too seriously, but when our boys played a kick ass game on Sunday after such a shitty season opener (that we lost), it was so nice to see that we're getting our mojo back but I literally can't look at any post, tweet, article, tv segment, etc that doesn't make the game about her.

God, please don't let her be around for the rest of the season 🙏🏻

Also, I'm not saying they're not hooking up, but this is 100% for PR. I've personally never seen them pan to a celebrity so many times during the game. I've never seen "candid" photos of Travis Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, or any of the other popular Chiefs' players leaving Arrowhead Stadium after a game like we just got with Travis & T*ylor, or "candid" photos & videos of any of the popular players driving through the city, which is so sus. And then what really sealed the deal for me was that T*ylor announced earlier today that her concert film will be shown internationally. She was also named as an entertainer of the year for entertainment weekly and is on the cover. Not to mention, she has a new re-recording coming out in a month and continues to announce new versions of the 1989 re-recording. "Someone" must not be happy enough that she's already broke records with the Speak Now sales, is selling the most number of albums overall, but she must be aiming to break those Speak Now records with the 1989 re-recording sales bc she's releasing new versions quite often. I mean, how greedy can one person be. Like you haven't sold enough albums? You don't have enough publicity? You don't have enough money? It's just gross to me.

Also, I personally just found her reactions over the top for someone who isn't even a fan, especially whatever that head shake thing is at the end. But maybe that's just because I find everything she does annoying and cringe.

I’ve known about Travis for years being an NFL fan and just wanna say that these tweets should come as a surprise to no one. LOL. He’s a millennial pro football player. Also - for anyone whose in the tumblr space thinking he is unproblematic king unlike the other white men - y’all. He’s an NFL player. Between this league and the NBA you will not find a single hot man without problems. Sorry just trying to be real. Btw the rest of the tumblr white kings even with all their racist girlfriends (you can guess which guys I’m referring to) will not hold a problematic candle to guys like Travis. Imagine his IG DMs (LOL).

Tweets and comments made like this were totally normal and unfortunately accepted 13 years ago. Doesn’t make it right or not problematic but the bro/frat culture was huge back in like 2007-2012, and those were formative years for this generation. In college all my guy friends talked like Travis did but they did not go public with someone like Taylor swift 😆.

I don’t think Travis is a bad guy at all, he’s just normal TBH, but this just goes to show if you dig hard enough, you can find “dirt” on just about anyone.

They’re not as surprising as they are disappointing. It’s funny how Travis had time to clean up his IG, and deleted over 200 posts, but not his Twitter.

I don’t know if anyone who is “unproblematic” though. And I have said Travis is gearing up for his post NFL career. So we’re going to see some major cleanups. It is what it is.

And you’re right, tweets like those were unfortunately “normal”. But when you go public with someone like Taylor, best believe shit like this will resurface. Again, why worry about his IG when his Twitter had their own treasures 🫣

Wonderland is a song about a love that feels so enticing it draws her in against her judgment. Taylor uses Lewis Carroll's Wonderland as a metaphor for love with a famous person and they try to hold on the chaos that ensues from going public. Get a cup of tea, this is long. Original Lyrics

Along with 1989 TV Taylor released the original Wonderland Lyrics 27 October 2023. They are undated. I think it may have been started in 2011 when Taylor was in London and finished for 1989. The original Lyrics further indicate this song is about Harry:

"We danced down hallways, too in love to think straight" rather than" became "So, we went on our way / Too in love to think straight" Hallway's being common theme in Harry and Taylors songs about each other.

"Screaming you're the king and I'm the queen," rather than "All alone, or so it seemed." King/Queen is a common reference Taylor has used to indicate the muse is British. This is also on 1989 in Blank Space: "Stolen kisses, pretty lies, you’re the king, baby, I’m your queen"

"Colors I'd never seen twisting around me" became "I felt your arms twistin' around me." Colours are also a Haylor theme, on 1989 with OOTW: "The rest of the world was black and white / But we were in screaming color.”

"Didn't I tell you don't listen to them?" to "Didn't they tell us don't rush into things?" this reminds me of Slut! "I said it might blow up in your pretty face / I'm not saying do it anyway / But you're going to" because they went public and it did blow up.

"I turned around to find you and you were nowhere to be found / There was screaming and lightning / And I haven't been back since I had to leave you there..." became "I reached for you, but you were gone / I knew I had to go back home / You searched the world for somethin' else." this is similar to I Knew You Were Trouble: "And he’s long gone when he’s next to me", This Love: "And you were just gone and gone, gone and gone" and Blank Space: "Screaming, crying, perfect storms, I can make all the tables turn".

The first verse sets the scene of a relationship that is in the public eye and two people trying to hold onto their love in chaos. Specifically not a hidden relationship.

Flashing lights - It's easy to overlook how very out of control the fans and paparazzi were about Haylor and One Direction in 2011 - 2013. Having dated in secret for sometime when they did go public the focus was intense. When they dated again it was hidden, which is evident in both of their discographies.

I Know Places: Lights flash and we’ll run for the fences

Is It Over Now?: Flashing lights, oh Lord, let’s fast forward to three hundred takeout coffees later

Paris: Let the only flashing lights be the tower at midnight in my mind

One Directions Perfect "And if you like cameras flashing every time we go out oh yeah"

Fell down a Rabbit Hole is similar to IWYW "We're a crooked love in a straight line down"

Trying to hold onto each other in chaos is also in:

The Pre-Chorus tells of a decision to go public with a previously private relationship. At the time Harry and One Direction were incessantly asked invasive questions about dating, which Harry was increasingly uncomfortable answering. Shortly before 1D provided a list of banned questions which was not well received.

Slut! implies that Harry had wanted to go public and Taylor cautioned against it " Taking your chance / It's a big mistake / I said it might blow up in your pretty face / I'm not saying do it anyway / But you're going to / And if they call me a slut / You know it might be worth it for once"

Harry's green eyes are mentioned in many songs.

[Chorus] We found Wonderland, you and I got lost in it And we pretended it could last forever (Eh, eh) We found Wonderland, you and I got lost in it And life was never worse, but never better (Eh, eh)

The Chorus encapsulates this relationship, one they are drawn to, see the peril in and proceed anyway because they love it. Taylor has other lyrics that refer to forever not coming true:

False God: We were crazy to think / Crazy to think that this could work / Remember how I said I'd die for you?

Pretending is also a theme, I think this about suspending judgement to stay in a Lavender Haze, or set aside concerns about the potential reputational damage or bullying caused by fans:

Wildest Dreams: "Say you’ll see me again even if it’s just pretend"

The post chorus Eh's sound so similar to Rihanna's "Under my umbrella, ella, ella, eh, eh, eh" which is actually similar in theme, Umbrella is about a famous couple being there for each other, Wonderland is feeling like that didn't happen.

In the period One Direction was incessantly asked for a celebrity crush (while he was actually dating an exceptional famous dream girl) Harry often said Rihanna, if he answered. Rihanna was a safe choice, she wasn't single, she has spoken highly of Harry. Also she sat in front of him at the infamous 2013 VMAs.

Fame and focus of people outside the relationship is a theme. I can't repeat enough how much this song is about a public relationship:

Harry for One Direction Where do Broken Hearts Go: "Mind is runnin' in circles of you and me / Anyone in-between is the enemy"

The reference of a Cheshire Cat smile is a double meaning, both referring to Harry's smile and where he grew up, Cheshire, England. Lewis Carroll, author of Alice in Wonderland, was also born in Cheshire. Calm my fears similar to the line in NYD “squeeze my hand”

[Bridge] I reached for you, but you were gone I knew I had to go back home You searched the world for somethin' else To make you feel like what we had And in the end, in Wonderland, we both went mad Oh

The song ends on a sad note, Taylor realises the relationship is too much for her so she gives it up. Her muse can't replace her and they never get over it. From Slut! and Say Don't Go in the 1989 Vault Taylor wanted more assurance in the chaotic storm of them going public. From Harry's TBSL and Little Freak we can infer that he wasn't ready for it, 19 and too famous too quickly.

We both went mad: the song ends on 'we both went mad' which is a double meaning of having lost themselves in this relationship and the Cheshire Cat saying "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad." in Alice in Wonderland. Madness is a theme in Harry and Taylors songs about each other:

January 2024 - part 2

January 18 - Travis listed among Chiefs Playoff captains for 2024 (x)

January 20 - Travis arrives in Buffalo, NY ahead of the AFC divisional game (x)

January 21 - Chiefs v Bills, Highmark Stadium, Buffalo, AFC Divisional Playoff. Chiefs defeat Bills 27 - 24.

Taylor meets Jason & Kylie Kelce. Jason shows his "electric" support for his brother Travis and the Chiefs. Travis scored 2 touch downs.

Chiefs move on to the AFC Championship!

January 22 - Entertainment Tonight (x) publish article with a source revealing:

"Taylor and Travis are doing really well, they try to spend as much time as they can together. Travis also makes it a point to make sure Taylor feels as comfortable as possible at his home. They have discussed their future as a couple and are excited at the idea of it."

January 23 - Taylor out to dine at Nobu, NYC with Brittany Mahomes, Cara Delevingne and Ashleigh Avignone

January 24 - New Heights podcast Ep 75 (x 48.00) - Travis & Jason recount the game referencing Jason's lack of shirt, jumping out the window and being told to behave by his wife.

Taylor joins Donna, Ed & Jason Kelce on the field to congratulate Travis and the team on their win and progress to the Super Bowl to defend the title! This is the first time Taylor has walked on the field.

"Shout out to the newest members of the Chiefs Kingdom," said Jason. "Taylor Swift, who has officially reached the Super Bowl in her rookie year." Travis responds "Shout out to Tay. Thanks for joining the team."

Travis is interviewed on the Pat McAfee show and he answers questions about Taylor (x)

"We knew each other close to a month" tells Travis when asked if they knew each other prior to Taylor's first appearance at a game on Sept. 24, 2023.

When asked about his relationship with Taylor,

"Hopefully everybody realizes that we're just two people in a relationship, supporting each other and having fun with it, man, it's nothing more than that," Kelce said of Swift's support. "[No matter] how much the world wants to paint the picture and make us the enemy, we just have fun with it. And we enjoy every single bit of it."

"I love it when Taylor comes and supports me and enjoys the game with the family and friends. It's been nothing but a wonderful year, man," he added.

Travis also confirmed that he is unable to attend the Grammys with Taylor

"I wish I could go support Taylor at the GRAMMYs and watch her win every single award that she's nominated for but... unfortunately, I gotta get ready for this big old Super Bowl and we got a week," he shared.

I wonder now with hindsight if the plane pic was actually a domestic flight still within the US and just one of the tennis players earlier connections , her IGS is the only thing that made everyone think KE was in Scotland and the segments may not have been posted sequentially as they occurred in real time . Then GMcT posted a pic with S+D in Edinburgh on the same evening the tennis player’s flight arrived in Glasgow , then an anon on another blog reportedly saw S a few times that weekend maybe with DB once and the other times alone . Then Monday as you say he was in Liverpool until Friday morning then apparently London seemingly briefly then Edinburgh with G + D again this past weekend, so if KE was ever in the UK when exactly could they have seen each other in that timeframe .🤷‍♀️

Yep, all things we don't know for sure. My initial thought was also a domestic flight, connecting to another that went to Scotland. But because of the BA, and the airport looking like LHR, assumed was they were both one a plane to Glasgow. But we've not 100% certainty about that.

Also, my thoughts, why would you on such a short flight chat with someone and then be the best friends all of a sudden on IG? I don't know, but I do not usually talk so much with strangers and start follow them on IG like that. Wondering what the common factor was for that 🤷‍♀️ And yes, people write to me how she likes S's posts, well, if you took notice then you would have seen how quickly she likes Taylors posts as well! Right after she posts KE likes them.

GMcT posted the pic on the same day as this story of her on a plane (nov 4th), but they were there the day before (nov 3rd), not the same day the plane story was posted. Duncan posted something the next day (nov 4th being in Edinburgh ordering a new kilt....

Which, if we want to talk rumors and try to make sense of all the things we've seen... let me throw out one too:

So, Duncan was ordering a new kilt! And the pics of yesterday was talking about celebrating Graham and Tom Kitchin wishing Graham the best of luck

Uhm... makes me curious, what is going on? Something must be going on. Why does Duncan need a new kilt? And what exactly were they celebrating and makes Tom wish Graham the best of luck. 🤔

Now I know, a while ago, Graham was married to Garance in NZ in what he called an elopement. For the ones not knowing what it means, it is a small wedding ceremony. I'm truly wondering if he's planning another one in Scotland! Was this some kind of a bachelor evening/weekend. Were they tasting the menu for the wedding? Did he asked Sam and Duncan to be his best men? lol... I don't know, but my guts tells me something is going on there! 😂 (no, no I'm not Purv)
