Finally done with this oughhhh... the timer says i worked full fucking 24 hours on this😭
School game animation... Obviously I couldn't work on it if it didn't have my blorbo so here he is. They work together seamlessly as well hehe I would appreciate you sharing this post because I'm dead
Tumblr media
Each of those took 8+ hours to make aha ha how I love. How I love animation... It was worth it tho! My fav is the attack sequence with claws :) the way his tendrils move just scratches something in my brain
Also I made a lil video of how my animation progressed since 2022 if anyone is interested it's under the cut<3
The song is from Happy Meat Farms OST Tony Ashley - Mother :)

@disneyanddisneyships oh i just thought of a VERY angsty idea
What if there was another time Mal confronted Alastor in the au where he cheated? But this time, it was for him letting Theo go to a duel at nineteen??
Like what if Mal, during that, turned into her full demon form and she was almost unrecognizable because of it? Like she was a fucking wild animal because she lost control of everything? Like my characterization of Mal is that she is holding back a lot of grudge in her life. She was a murderer in life so if she gets angry, she forgets control of herself and just loses it. She has a lot of pent up anger to those men she killed that was probably sent down there.
And she loved Theo. Emma was hurt as well. (In this au i think they are dating ok im changing things in my head) and Theo was too sweet for hell. He deserved to be in heaven. But he died before he got to do that.
Not to mention aponi..
A mother's heartbreak is one thing i wouldn't even wish upon my worst enemy.
Aponi was so, SO broken. That boy was all she had after al cheated.
So mal, knowing all of this, had a lot of rage in her.
She was determined to dethrone him.
She could stand a chance, but Alastor has more experience. She knows that.
But she's still willing to try
So she transforms in this demon form, her eyes glowing. She forgot about how she used to be friends with him. She set that aside because he's nothing but a prick to her now.
And there's a fight scene in my head where Mal in her full demon form just flies towards him, pinning him against the wall as she basically drools, and then alastor pushes her off, still trying to reason with her because he still loves aponi and knows that mal is her friend.
Then yk that Ray vs. Dr. Facilier's shadows scene before he died?
Al charges his shadows at her only for her to kick them or some sort of thing like that because her legs glow and stuff (also she fights them off with her eyes)
Then she charges against Alastor again.
Alastor then pulled the whole tentacles thing but she was quick as a bug. One tentacle caught her, but she cut it off, still focusing on Alastor.
Alastor felt a little.. nervous around her for the first time. Her rage was.. interesting.
Entertaining, even.
He was done reasoning with her and decided to just turn into his demon form as well.
Now Mal would've been scared, but in her mind was aponi's face when she collapsed on the ground crying, Emma locking herself up in the room, and more importantly, Theodore.
She knew once he was serious she wouldn't stand a chance
But she felt like for those three, she could atleast try.
Then another fight sequence. Mal does the "eye trick" but it never blinded him, it just sent him tumbling back a little. So, quick as a bug she took a chance
But Alastor was quicker and summoned a holy knife in his hands, but it wasn't to kill her. It was to scare her. She can heal from HIS attacks, so she was fearless. She's a sinner. Dead alone can't kill the dead. But with a holy equipment, you can.
.....but mal was too blinded by her anger like a wild animal lost in control and still drove straight to him, and Al, holding the knife, had stabbed her. In the gut, I think. She shrieks in pain, but still wrapped her hand around his neck. But it was no use. It was holy.
But Alastor still was in his full form, grinning as he'd won.
...not until Aponi walked into the scene. Then Al realized what he'd done.
He caused her another heartbreak.
But what was he meant to do?
Like, not completely hamilton but kinda following the story but with a very angsty twist i made up in my head lmfao
Also to add: this is one of the main parts of the reason why Vox killed Alastor. Cause Vox as both burr and jefferson... would be a lil weird because alastor endorsed vox to win against.. vox! So i think Your Obedient Servant would be very more interesting if this is what drove vox to kill alastor >:)
To each their own, though but this is my own lol

figured id make a bigger post about carmine and my insert/oc rhys :]] he's exclusive to the pokepasta perdition mod only
Tumblr media
i do have a little story cooking right now, so here it is vvv (dont feel obliged to read it idm! i also like archiving my stuff here)
initially i was incredibly sympathetic over carmine's status as the tormented trainer. i was very interested with how the devs reimagined creepy black to look like because carmine is a character made for the mod only so i just looked at carmine and went :] aw lil guy...
I wanted to try to copy the perdition artstyle... so i chose creepy black's color palette and accidentally made a brother along the way 💥 told myself eventually that - yeah I think carmine needs a nice big brother
rhys is a relaxed, laid back kanto champion. red - or should I say, PROFESSOR REDwood is a retired trainer so his champion days are over for sure, and rhys is the current champion in whatever year it's taking place.
i haven't thought too deep to really stitch the story together but as the story goes, carmine goes on an unexpected rampage to curse every trainer and pokemon (which kills them in the process) which prompts professor redwood to really investigate what's going on. rhys, who's learning about the casualties as time goes on - puts his champion duties on hold to also investigate what's happening - he doesn't even know that carmine was the one partially responsible for this - so at the same time, rhys is looking for carmine to protect him from this mass genocide...
he feels regretful, perhaps he shouldn't be too relaxed and reassured that his little brother can do things on his own. but then again, it's not like rhys has all the time either to be with him. being a champion is such a chore, isn't it?
i imagine a sequence where redwood confronts carmine and ghost as the mod plays out, taking place in the abandoned pokecenter. rhys would hear this commotion and try to look into the place, and would soon discover that the perpetrator is carmine and the horrid ghostly entity that plays puppet on his poor brother. even if it was his first time seeing them, the strange aura was all too familiar because rhys swears he feels that sensation everytime he witnesses another accident. it's definitely gotta be them, but why carmine?
Tumblr media
(this animation is so good btw)
love the idea of a one on one confrontation with rhys and carmine tho... it's your brother but you need to stop this madness, what're gonna do?
redwood and rhys probably band together to figure out how to stop this thing (but we'll never know if they're successful or not)
kay enough sad story here's a goofy drawing I did in an attempt to replicate the coloring style 💥

Digimon Tamers - Episode 35
This was basically part two to the last Wham episode. Crazy shit's still going down, but it had a more hopeful ending at least. The visuals were also more striking this time, so I enjoyed this one more overall.
Notes:
Tumblr media
FUSION! I did NOT know that this season had digimon-human fusion (jogress?) Guessing this will be a Takato-Guilmon exclusive since he's the only one who's been shown to have a connection to his digimon partner so far. Kinda strange that Guilmon's official ultimate form requires this fusion?? (In future video games, will the player character fuse with him?) Interested to see where they take this.
I was surprised we didn't get a reaction to Takato's digivice shattering, but I guess they have more pertinent matters to attend to. I guess Takato doesn't need it to do tamer-y things? Maybe this just means he can't scan cards or look at digimon data
I appreciated the opening scene with Jian's mom crying about Shiuchon. Little moments like that flesh out the characters and up the stakes. I hate it when parents are just omitted from stories cuz it makes it seem like they don't give a crap about their kids. (Side note: her chunky sweater/skinny jeans combo is cute lol. Ahead of her time!)
So Megidramon's existence puts the digital world in jeopardy because he's just not supposed to exist? Was that ever a thing in the past with bad digivolutions cuz I don't think so...
Megidramon was very badass in this episode. There was a lot of detail put into him like his acidic drool that made him fun to watch. Felt very Jurassic Park on steroids. (Though looking at his snout, he's more dragon-like than dino-like).
Makuramon shows up just to be killed lol. I call BS with Beelzebumon gaining other digimon's powers after he loads them. Renamon loaded a bunch of digimon and we never saw her gain any powers from that...He even had Taomon and Rapidmon's characteristics bulging out of him which was a pretty cool effect.
Pretty fishy how in the last episode Kyubimon was exhausted and incapable of digivolution but now all the sudden she's like "JK" and digivolves without issue. I get that times are desperate, but exhaustion is exhaustion.
One thing that's super confusing to me is that...didn't we see Takato design Guilmon's previous digivolutions? Like with pencil and paper? So where the heck did Megidramon come from? Did he just picture the design in his mind? Although that doesn't seem right since he was disturbed by his appearance. I don't really get the logic here...
Beelzebumon was too screamy in this episode lol. I was like "alright already, we GET IT"
I didn't expect this anime to pull out the dramatic slow-mo. You don't see slow-mo a lot in anime, especially not slowed down voices. It's honestly been done for comedy in western animation so many times that I can't take it seriously anymore.
Ew, they did one of my least favorite anime cliches which is the fish eye lens scene. I just think it always looks really dumb.
You gotta have the naked transformation sequence. Not often we get a male one, so that's refreshing (not that I want to see Takato naked lol).
New insert song yaaaay! Dramatic moments are always made better by a good ole insert song. I like Dukemon's design a lot, even though it's a little generic. The color palette is nice and I like that he uses a lance like he's a jousting knight. The lil Guilmon hat/visor is pretty funny.

hi kane, hope you're doing well :3 for the aot ask game:
2. What is your favorite opening song (OP) from the series?
5. Favorite manga panel?
10. Favorite arc and why?
hiii :3 thx for the questions flo!!!
2: favorite OP
this is SO hard you have no idea :(((( EVERY single song is a masterpiece for me so that can’t go into my decision i mean it😭😭😭
OKAY in terms of the actual OP that plays before the episodes, it has to be Jiyuu no Tsubasa (from s1p2). it’s unbeatable in terms of presentation and animation for me.
in terms of the full song, i’m biased towards The Rumbling for SURE (my metalhead ass lol). but it’s neck and neck with My War.
5: favorite manga panel
answered :D
but i’m subjecting u to more.
Tumblr media
speaks for itself?
Tumblr media
sorry but this is at the top for me LOOK at them (never saw levi squad just hanging out much) (especially levi in his lil malewife outfit) (and oluo trying to imitate him)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
10: favorite arc and why
all the hard choices😔
i know my least favorite one for sure and that’s the attack on trost arc😭it always has me so stressed on rewatches bc eren was either out of commission, dreaming, or out of control. (still 10/10 though) (like all of them).
my FAVORITE arc is clash of the titans (season 2). it’s shorter than most of the others but sets up just as many juicy mysteries as it answers
the action is sort of condensed down to pretty basic sequences (like erwin’s charge -> getting eren back + massacre -> getting titans thrown at them). BUT that’s what’s satisfying about it when the plot is SO fucking confusing. atp SO many characters know SO much shit that the survey corps/we don’t. so on top of the relationship between action and narrative, it’s captivating instead of frustrating because most of the main characters have no clue what’s going on either, and are just trying to stay alive.
EVERYTHING IS SO FRESH AND INTERESTING
you’re also on the edge of your seat the whole damn time while it’s not clear if wall rose is fucked or not.
and obviously this arc has the most iconic twist in the story.
(((the war on paradis arc is runner up, which goes from coming back from liberio to the end))))

brother crab's winter 2024 parting thoughts: metallic rouge
man. alright. one of the most promising starts of the season but tl;dr ngl this is pretty embarrassing for you bones
this show started with a close to 80% average score on anilist (which is really good) and has since slid down to 60% and the sad thing is i can't even say it didn't deserve that
there are a lot of very interesting concepts here, but the quality of the series as a whole declined so steeply from potentially great to... just not great
it's never easy to turn what was meant to be a 2-cour series into a 1-cour show, i get that. but they really fumbled it here. there were a lot of moments where i felt like the story would have been better served as a video game, and i think it's because it felt like all we got were major cut scenes/boss fights, while all the little chats and flavor text in a game, that would usually make the world and characters more robust, were missing
i can definitely see how this might have done better with a second cour, though maybe that's hopeful thinking because the writing overall just doesn't inspire confidence. there were lots of fun, quippy moments, but they seemed to drift about in a vacuum. it's almost like everything was interesting but at the same time meaningless
what makes me say embarrassing is the animation, though. lots of good character designs! some good, maybe even great, action sequences! but in terms of consistency there was no consistency, and this was bones. not just bones but their 25th anniversary project!
obviously something happened to mess with the production, but at this point i would've just scrubbed the 25th anni label from the project entirely. because it is sincerely just a lil bit embarrassing for a studio like bones to call this its 25th anniversary project
some episodes weren't so bad, but in some the characters felt like they were off model more than they were on. it's just not a great look. even the quality of the op (in terms of animation, not the music, which was incredible) wasn't up to par with what i would've expected
it's just so so so obviously a series that got hacked way down that i really have to feel sorry for it. like for instance
Tumblr media
WHERE WAS THIS ROUGE FROM THE OP??? it just really feels like they had a lot more planned for the series that they didn't get to do, which is unfortunate
but even with them losing a whole cour... idk it makes me think of hoshiai no sora, also meant to be 2-cour and wound up only one. i vastly prefer the way hoshiai no sora just let itself end of a big 'fuck you' cliffhanger, honestly i can understand if people dislike that ending but i thought, given the time constraints, it actually worked really well
anyway. real bummer but not even the yuribait could save this series from being devastatingly mediocre. sincerely there are so many good ideas, themes, dialogue snippets, etc that just did not come together at all. it's like a show that wanted to be everything but ultimately didn't know what it wanted to be at all
the music however! the op, the ed, all the music! really excellent
ultimately this slipped from "potentially great!" to "not bad... i think..." to "well at least it's not listeners"

it didnt win but do you have magical girl webcomic recommendations anyway? 👀
I was planning on going out to find more if that was the one picked, but just of the ones I know already:
If you haven't read Sleepless Domain yet, that's the one I kind of think of as like the most popular one? And it's popular for a reason, it's so good. It's about a world where magical girls are just a known quantity in everyday life. Their society is built around them since they protect ordinary people from the monsters that come out at night, so for example there's a special school just for them that starts later in the day to make up for the fact that they're up all night fighting evil by moonlight, they're basically celebrities, there are branches of government specifically dedicated to them, it's just fascinating to see a world where stuff like this is taken to its logical conclusion. The story has set up some spooky and compelling mysteries, the characters are fun and relatable and gay as shit, the art and character design is super cute, I mean what can be said about Sleepless Domain that hasn't been said. It's literally so good. CONTENT WARNING: there is an early plot point involving major character death, and it becomes the driving force for a lot of the series.
ALSO THE LITTLE DANCE TRANSFORMATION SEQUENCE IN CHAPTER 21 AAAAAAHHHHH MY LIL GAY HEARTCATCH FAN HEART I LOVE THEM SO MUCH
There's also XII, which I found by accident at a con last year. It's about a group of girls at a boarding school who accidentally start awakening magic powers in themselves and then others. As more people start gaining powers, the people in charge at the school start taking notice and trying to crack down on things. There's a lot going on behind the scenes, and part 1 sets up some great mysteries. Part 1 (Of Magic and Muses) is fully completed, with three volumes out, and Part 2 (Of Rogues and Remnants) just has the one chapter out for now and has gone on hiatus recently, but I'd still definitely recommend giving it a read! I have all three volumes (I bought the first volume at Pretty Heroes last year, read it in one night, then went back and bought the next two volumes the next day) and a standee of Georgia because we stan a shitty delinquent bully character who becomes less shitty but still a delinquent. CONTENT WARNING: (taken directly from the website) part 1 contains bullying, strangulation, drowning, blood, general violence, partial nudity, and language, while part 2 contains animal harm, police violence, disassociation, blood, sexual situations, general violence, partial nudity, and language. I swear it's not like full Madoka or anything but it is a darker magical girl series. It's really good I promise.
There's also Elements of the Round on Webtoon, which I actually found via Art Fight of all places lol. I'm not caught up with it at all (I stopped using Webtoon around when its first chapter ended) but it's a neat story based around Arthurian myth! I love Nina, she's great. It's a bit simpler than the other two but quite good! CONTENT WARNING: familial death early on.
And another Webtoon: Let's Celebrate! is a globe-trotting magical girl story about magical girls based around holidays! When I quit using Webtoon it had three, based on Christmas, St. Patrick's Day, and New Year's. The way the monsters work is so interesting, and I love the art!! Also it's super cute and hella gay and I definitely should catch up. No content warnings from my memory.
Hopefully there are a couple here that are new to others!

The 3rd episode is so so so perfect.
I feel like a fangirl, being excited about every little detail, but I actually love it so much.
The city looks great, there is Jet, well, have you seen Jet? I love how they keep restructioning the plot in the way that is kinda makes sense. (The only problem I have with those changes yet is Kyoshi's prophecy about something happening in the north pole. Shouldn't the motivation to go there be "to learn the waterbending" in the first place? Like, the gaang could figure it out for themselves easily, it's not that hard. I do not actually remember what was in the animated series, but it feels kinda weird. Also - it's not "something will happen that's why aang should go there" it's "aang will go there that's why something will happen" - but that's issue of the 2nd episode)
I mean, you know they love and care for the source material when you see some cabbages being destroyed or a lil champ in Jet's squad they absolutely did not have to include.
Azula is perfect, so perfect I'm still processing it.
There is Danny Pudi. I love him.
The fight sequence? I don't know if it's good choreography or not, but it's great that they use surroundings in the fight. It seems like it's nothing special but it actually is - there are not many movies or series that do that (you can remember marvel movies - even the good ones have this fight where it's nothing but punches and superpowers blows). It's dynamic, it's interesting, it's exciting. It's not boring.
Katara finally has something to do. I sometimes kinda feel that the actress doesn't know what to do in the shot - although I have that idk theory that is the way it is because Katara is still very insecure about her abilities. Which is fine it's just weirdly executed. And even if so - it would be director's fault for not instructioning and correcting the actress.
The worst part of this episode is wigs or hairdressing.
I've watched 3 episodes and the first one - which I liked - was easily the weakest one, at least for me.

I'm interested in Trigun after seeing your posts/reblogs and I'm wondering: what is the best way to consume such media and where could a person go about finding it? 🥰
oh FUCK yea
TLDR answer: trigun 98 -> badlands rumble -> trigun manga -> trigun stampede. going into why below. (under readmore bc this accidentally got long. again.)
ok well. common consensus is to watch the original anime (referred to as trigun 98 by much of the fandom) bc it has a slower start & lets you get to know the characters a lot more than the new anime (assisted by the 26 episodes length, as opposed to 12). it preserves the Mystery of what Vash's deal is for much longer, & is in general pretty entertaining to watch if you don't know wtf is going on. it's Legally on uh. crunchyroll? i think? tho i watched it here: https://aniwatch.to/trigun-266. just like. normal sketchy site safety, adblock is ur best friend, don't click on things. etc. if this site doesnt work for u then u could always google another.
there's a movie, Badlands Rumble, which is based off the trigun 98 canon, so probably a good place to watch it is right after that. just uh. be mindful that Vash's behavior is a Lil... obnoxious at points lol. but it's still a fun movie overall with plenty of good shit in it, so it's worth watching still. i watched it w/ a friend streaming it so i dont have a link onhand, but u could probs find it thru that same site if u search for it.
NEXT UP is my personal favorite, the manga. theres trigun original and trigun maximum, which is the direct continuation of the original (there was an issue with the publishers and licensing so upon continuing the manga w/ a different publisher, Nightow had to rebrand it. it's otherwise the same manga). i recommend this one next bc it's the most whole of story & goes deeper into things than the original anime, but it's also what the new anime is based on (aka why i recommend this one first). it can get FUCKED UP (they all can really, but trimax Especially) so probably look up a triggers list if u think u might need it. it's SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO fucking good tho. genuinely owns my soul. i was a different person after reading it (not rly better or worse, mostly just more insane). there r a few translations online - an old fan translation (DO NOT TOUCH, full of horrid translations and insertions of bigotry that arent in the original), the official Dark Horse translation (an... ok translation, though it has plenty of errors and confusing translations. it's what i first read so it's Okay, but not the best), AND the trigun manga Overhaul project, which u can find on tumblr. this one's the best one bc it's lovingly translated and a LOT more accurately done. i swear things that were so confusing at first are So Clear reading this one. u can find the masterpost Here: https://trigun-manga-overhaul.tumblr.com/post/701392615591034880/trigun-ultimate-overhaul-masterpost-heres-all-the. or just go to their blog @/trigun-manga-overhaul. just trust me on this it's where U wanna read.
an offshoot of it (and what ive been reading today) is an anthology sort of manga, Trigun Multiple Bullets, which is also in that post. it was released as part of the BLR movie release, & the first part is kinda After It? but overall it's just a standalone piece with some side stories. where is this in the manga canon timeline? Who Fuckin Knows. just read it and have fun lol
AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST is the most recent anime, Trigun Stampede. this is a CGI remake that aired at the start of this year & caused the trigun renaissance. now a lot of people have a knee-jerk negative reaction to hearing it's CGI, but trust me, this is basically THE BEST application of CGI in anime i've ever really seen. absolutely beautiful. fucking gorgeous. plus with really cool action sequences, and OF COURSE the music is literally one of my favorite anime soundtracks Ever. it's gotten critiques for its pacing, which can be pretty rushed, but they were trying to fit a lot more story in a lot less episodes than the original anime (again, it only has 12 episodes), so keep that in mind. it's not a remake in the traditional sense of redoing the exact same story, so there are changes in the timeline and characters from what's in the original anime or even the manga. one of the biggest things people were unhappy about is the absence of a main character, Milly, who is seemingly replaced by a random man that's not in the other versions, Roberto. Milly will be in season 2 though, as was revealed with the final episode. all in all, it's Kind Of a prequel, though also a remix/reimagining based largely off of the manga's canon over trigun 98. so long as you go into it not expecting it to be Just Like the other versions, it's a really wonderful story in and of itself. it's available on Crunchyroll, which you SHOULD watch there if u have it bc that would give them more money for a season 2 (which is in development). if ur like me tho n dont wanna pay for crunchyroll (it's Specifically a premium-only anime :p), u can watch it where i watched, aka here: https://aniwatch.to/trigun-stampede-18281.
all in all, each version has its strengths and weaknesses, but i've found the best way to go about enjoying All of them is to treat them as their own things. it can be fun to compare them, especially when it comes to things made Different plot or character-wise, but they are separate things. a lot of people who hate one or the other r coming from the angle of expecting one to be just like the other, & are then disappointed (trigun 98 being a Lot sillier at first than trigun stampede, which is a lot more serious sci-fi western in tone).
And Overall. i love them all. so i hope you do too!

JJBA Stardust Crusaders Ep. 25-29 Thoughts
Tumblr media
Aka I ramble on about the N'Doul episodes and some manga differences.
Ep 25 is the start of the second half of SDC. I have been a bit slow so far so I've decided to pick up speed. It's gonna take me 2 months to finish the anime otherwise. I've watched episodes 25 to 33 but I have some extra things to say today, I'm gonna split the post in two.
First of all, the opening. It starts off all mysteries but then the rest of the song is like the first one. It even has Star Platinum's ORA ORA's in it. My favourite part is the start and the sequence with the white lines in it.
Ep. 25-26 (N'Doul)
There is a dog. The dog has a stand, The Fool. To be fair, he is a really anthropomorphized dog, way smarter than the actual thing. They kind of have to do this if he is gonna be part of the team with a stand and all. (Jotaro smiling while Iggy is biting Polnareff's face off was pretty funny. Mr. Emotionless over here thinks this is hilarious.)
It's honestly a crime that N'doul shows up for only two episodes. His design, abilities and personality is sick as hell to me. My fave DIO goon, maybe? Most of the time stands are way more interesting then the goon using 'em. Basic bitch pick, I know. Sometimes things are popular for though.
Tumblr media
^ Kakyoin being a piece of shit here was pretty funny. They were arguing so much that N'Doul could sense them. Good work guys.
Episode goes from 1 to 11 real quick when N'Doul slashes Kakyoin's eyes. And he passes out from the shock. Kakyoin getting hurt to show how dangerous the new threat happens a lot, but it seems actually serious this time. I don't think Araki is bold enough to make him lose his eyes for real, but It'd be really interesting development if he did. I'm just saying.
Tumblr media
Advol says "No, that's wrong" He says the thing! Guys!!! He also gets his neck cut too ig lol. I'm sure he'll be fine.
Jotaro uses the secret Joestar technique of running the fuck away (to divert attention away from the people he cares about). Classic. He makes sure to grab Iggy on the way.
Tumblr media
^ Jokes aside, I thought Jotaro throwing Iggy to not get hit by Geb was really smart. It makes so much sense but I couldn't think of it at all.
I know Iggy is just a dog, he didn't ask for this yada yada I don't care, if the bastard didn't wanna get thrown at 20 mph he shouldn't look so goddamn puntable. Every time I look at him I am filled with rage. I want to kick him like football.
Okay but for real, Iggy is gonna be a hard sell for me. I don't like small dogs but I dislike fart jokes even more, which he unfortunately delivers in spades. I know part 3 has a lot of piss shit and fart jokes in it but Iggy isn't helping!!
Okay the stand-off between Jotaro and N'Doul was excellent. The animation, the soundtrack and the sound design worked really well. And then Star Platinum going HUUUUAAAHHHH
Tumblr media
If you didn't think Dio wasn't building a cult before, you'll surely do now. Even Jotaro comments on it. Cults give people a purpose and answers, so...
I do feel a lil bit bad for him. Dio finds the most isolated and depressed people to use them, letting them depend on him. As much as I've been trying to avoid them I get recommended jojos when I search for clips. N'Doul's line "I do not fear death. Just as long as [Dio] doesn't abandon and murder me himself." in one of the games puts it plainly.
It's hard to wrap your head around Dio being charismatic but when you hear his interactions with them it becomes obvious. He acts like he cares for them, whether that's genuine or on is up in the air. Considering everything in Phantom Blood, how much it took for Dio to finally respect Jonathan, I'm inclined to say no? He was definitely meant to be a pure evil Disney villain type of character there. SDC might shake things up, who knows.
Overall, these episodes are great. They have a lil bit of everything I like. Part 1 doesn't feel boring compared to part 2, unlike some other two parters. Not to mention the music picks.
-
Now, onto something I wanna talk about. I was sort of going thru the manga pages for the last few episodes and,
Tumblr media
This line of Jotaro is given to Advol in the anime. And he is less stressed about it. (I know characters get major injuries only to be fine the next episode but like, Kakyoin losing his eyes is a big development. He doesn't show for the next 13 episodes after this.)
Tumblr media
^ Too tired to change the lines.
Also, in the anime, It is Advol who holds Kakyoin. (Polnareff holding Joseph isn't in either.) Instead, Jotaro hangs with one hand while the other is casually in his pocket. Which is absolutely hilarious. And shows how anime and manga to treats his character.
Tumblr media
I know people arguing over manga and anime Jotaro is -a whole thing- I would hear stuff about it while Stone Ocean anime was still releasing. I will think about this a lot more if I actually read the whole thing. Just talking about these two episodes here.
In the anime, Jotaro needs to look cool all the time always. I assume what they were going for was to make him more stoic so that when his cool guy persona (and it is a persona) starts slipping it has more impact. But the changes made seem kind of random. They changed some stuff in this episode but they have kept the Anubis one largely the same. He is not as agitated there but he is still on the back foot.
He is losing control in this episode. The only reason they made it out alive was because The Fool just happened to be able to fly, he was basically fucked before then. Him looking panicked at Kakyoin losing his eyes also makes sense. He can't do anything about the situation, so naturally, his stoic demeanor starts to dissipate for a while. Kakyoin and Advol has put him on a timer.
I don't think the difference between manga and anime Jotaro is that big but it is notable. I dunno. I would prefer Jotaro breaking the cool mask too much rather than basically never.
Another tidbit is, Star Platinum smiles in the manga way more. And I'm gonna be honest I prefer the anime in this. It goes back to the "Having it less makes the times where it does show up more impactful." thing. So, it can definitely be done in a good way.
Ep. 27 (Oingo Boingo Brothers)
One thing I found strange is how the English dub and sub treats the brothers' names. They normally call themselves.Oingo Boingo Brothers. The English sub calls them Zenyatta Monetta Brothers. The dub straight up doesn't mention their name at all.
Weirdly enough, the the other subs do call them Oingo Boingo Brothers. Is it a cultural thing, or a copyright one? I don't know.
I don't have much to say about this episode. So I'm gonna take the opportunity to talk about Kakyoin instead :D
Tumblr media
^ This is from the next episode but there isn't much I can use.
I mentioned before how I thought it would be interesting to blind him. You never see legally blind characters in action stuff, unless they have an ability that let's them sense the environment. Like Toph or N'Doul himself. It's a pain to fight blind, it turns out.
Kakyoin should have a way to see, through the humanoid stand Green Heirophant (unless him being blinded makes Heirophant blind also). Like, It would have been really draining. Summoning the stand is a lot but also the chronic pain from his injury, but he could do it. He could use the eyes for battle situations, or Joseph could have SPW bring him technology that could help him in some way. I'm not gonna call this a missed opportunity, I can see why didn't go with that.
I'm guessing Araki wanted to shrink the cast for a while, like with Advol's "death". 5 man band casts are nice but it can be hard to work with 5 people all the time. Cast is divided again with Polnareff-Jotaro and Advol-Joseph. I went in to check when Kakyoin shows up again (grazing thru the manga) and he is not in the show for 13 episodes, excluding 2 scenes. That's more than quarter of the whole runtime. Advol was away for 9 episodes, and he was suppose to be dead.
I'm a bit conflicted on this, shrinking the cast builds relationships between the characters more in depth and it allows for new and interesting storylines. But at the same time, that's a lot of episodes. I just really like both Advol and Kakyoin, man.
Ep. 28-29 (Anubis)
FINALLY Some swordfighting scenes.
Tumblr media
Polnareff goes off on his own, again. He comes across a stand user and gets almost killed, again. Yet he keeps going off on his own anyway. Never change king.
Anubis' shtick is that it's a stand with no user, that gets more powerful the more you fight it. It's like Nasus but way cooler. Not that that's a high bar to pass, anything is cooler than farming stacks for 20 minutes. I don't know where Anubis getting stronger with time comes from, since Nasus also has this It's probably part of the mythology. I know absolutely nothing about that though.
Anubis themselves is also a fun villain. Funny man with funny voice. Their design is the opposite of unique but it works for me. I like that him possessing the kid gives him lipstick.
Going back to Polnareff, I think people forget how powerful he is sometimes. When it comes to power and speed, only one stronger than Chariot in the group is Star Platinum. And Star Platinum is op as hell.
Jotaro vs Anubis drives that point even further, Jotaro is not even sure he can win against Polnareff with Anubis' speed added to the equation. The whole fight is just Jotaro sweating bullets thinking "Shit shit shit shit sh
Tumblr media
When he does finally win, he says "What were you saying? You were gonna tear me into shreds?" while Star Platinum puts his hand like this. Just. I love it.
Tumblr media
^ Compilation of Jotaro faces for this episode.
Overall, Anubis episodes were pretty nice. I think the Alessi epsiodes do a better job building Jotaro and Polnareff's dynamic though.

BACK AGAIN FOR MORE WENDELL AND WILDD Behold Buffalo Belzer stuff I found very interesting/overall just a lot of shit
Tumblr media
1.If you haven't figured by now, mans a 300t foot giant. Like how- Is he a special kind of demon? Was he born normal sized but had a huge growth spurt? But before the trailer came out I already had a feeling he'd be tall- but not like TITAN SIZE. 2. Belzer's large, rotund gut houses the Scream Fair and from two separate articles I've read. It's strapped onto him physically and I figured and such because initially I was like 'how tf does he do daily stuff'.
Tumblr media
Here you can visibly see red/brown straps going across his belly, so does that mean he can /stand/ up with Scream Fair still attached to him? 3. He's blue! I had no idea he was blue, only found out from an article. You can clearly see he is from when his horns emerge from the graveyard, before electricity(?) dances around his gigantic horns. (Blue matches him better, originally thought he was dark purple for some reason)
Tumblr media
4. Belzer EATS souls. Like the homie full on chows down on em. Again, found this from an article. I think it was from a person interviewing Henry Selick. And when I read it I was like 'oh WHAT?' but looking back at this part of the trailer
Tumblr media
The surroundings walls clearly move and are red colored and now with this info. So, yup. It isn't a moving hallway- but Belzer's digestive track. (Does this mean we'll get an inside sequence of him?) I feel bad for the souls, they do be eternally screaming. Another fun lil thing' apparently it was Henry's favorite thing to try and animate the insides of it! And his stomach was so big 3 people sat inside it for laughs. Not 'puppets' but 'people', like HUH 5. There were large scaled models built. I assume buildings ect. So Belzer in the movie could be this gargantuan titan when filming compared to the small scaled characters. 6. Also read from the same article, that the crew took pointers from King Kong and made massive animatable hands for him, that featured a lot in the film. I imagine scenes for in hell and in the land of the living. (Idk bout you but I'd die if I saw his massive grabbers coming for me) 7. We all know this by now but. Buffalo Belzer saw the bros suggestion/offer to change Scream Fair into Dream fair 'treasonous' from an article I read, which the guy had actually seen 30 mins of the film (lucky mf). I assume since he's been doing it 5,000 years he'd get pretty peed off at his own children suggesting it should be changed. 8. Belzer has elvis styled sunglasses. (I have a feeling he'll wear them in the first part of the movie where we're introduced to the demon bros and him. PS; I found it weirdly adorable) 9. In the Underworld, or the Scream Fair. Belzer lays in a massive boiling lake, sort of like a hot tub. Mans is chilling, I respect that. 10. So, I was rewatching the trailer before Belzer emerges from the ground.
Tumblr media
I apologize for my shitty screenshots. NOW, when I saw this I thought it was the catholic school. But.. IT'S THE BRO'S HEARSE CARRIAGE- and if you look in the distance, you see shapes. But,, if you really think about it
Tumblr media
THE WALLS look very similar to this image ^. Both are snow covered rocky structures. The hearse carriage is chilling right by the staircase that Wendell and Wild are at. And from there, the camera pans down to reveal Belzer's horn coming up to the surface. This could allude to the possibility; Belzer senses his sons are in danger. But then it changes to, oh is he saying ''im coming for you'' to the priest/Father Bests? Who knows. I think this could be a possibility again, since the separate scenes could all add up, the hearse carriage, snow covered stairs, ect. I have a feeling Belzer is either coming for the priest or his sons. Another lil thing when he says. Again about the 'I'm coming for you' Too me, he doesn't even sound pissed off. Maybe he is, maybe he's just the calm angry type. But trailers like to lap over voice-lines, right? But I wouldn't be surprised if it was voice lapped. It flows really well. So it could belong to that specific scene, maybe before he comes from the ground. But why is Belzer coming from the ground? Either A. He senses something off, suddenly realizes Wendell and Wild aren't with him in the Underworld. Probably loses his shit. (In the negative way aka utterly fuming) Or B. He senses they're in danger and goes to rescue/aid them. (Not so sure bout the last one, but could be likely? Mainly because it's night- and where the bros are mind-controlled(?) it's also night!) 11. He's described as vain, bombastic and bellicose. Now, it's no surprise to me. But I wonder how he'll actually act in the film- I imagine despite being having these traits- he could still be, somewhat nice?? But who knows! Bombastic marked by or given to speech or writing that is given exaggerated importance by artificial or empty means  (from a post on twitter) Bellicose having an aggressive or fighting attitude (from an article review) Vain having or showing undue or excessive pride in one's appearance or achievements (Henry describes Belzer as this) Yet despite these 'negative personality traits, he actually has a giant soft spot. Meaning it probably alludes to the fact Belzer probably isn't as bad as I think. I'm excited to see how his 'soft spot' plays out in the film. That's enough from me for now! Might do more later cos my brain likes to be funny and makes me suddenly remember a lot more after a while.

So This past Tuesday we went to see the new Ninja Turtles we were originally suppose to go see Oppenheimer but plans changed last minute so we ended up going to see Ninja Turtles. I was very interested in this movie and followed it production. Much like Transformers I'm a life long Turtles fan so I was curious about it being I think Turtles stuff should look a certain way and somethings that have been done in recent years such as Rise of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles I didn't like. I never watched an episode but I just think the character designs look like shit and I wasn't going to watch it becasue of that anyway on as for this movie I needed to see the character designs for this movie before I would do anything and happy to say I did like these designs but more on that below. Also yes there was some collectable goodies for this movie too which you can see here!
Now as for this movie. I thought it was great! I would have to say that I did enjoy it it was fun and funny at times and I do feel it has a nice message about family and acceptance and finding a place where you feel like you belong in the world.
Now this is a bit of a origin story and tries to reintroduce the turtles to a new and modern audiences. They are younger in this movie then they usually are in other forms of media the turtles are all 15 years old and not only that but April is also in her teens in this as well she is also around 15 and is still in High School in this movie
The Turtles origin is of course slightly different in this one. It is close to the familiar way the Turtles become mutants but its slightly changed as in how they became Ninjas. Also the origins of the other Mutant characters in this is changed as well. I think that did that just for the sake of the story and it does work in the context of this movies story.
As for the designs of the characters which as I mentioned was a very important thing I felt that the Turtle designs in this were actually very good they were different and did match the ages that the Turtles were shown as they were young and child like almost playing up the "Teenage" aspect of who they are. Some of the other characters looked great too like Bebop and Rocksteady and I love how they brought in various characters from Turtles lore like Leatherhead,Mondo Gecko, Wingnut (what no screwloose??), Genghis Frog, Ray Fillet, and more. Where its great that alot of these classic character appear on screen many of them don't look like their source material counterparts which is kind of a shame.
Now also another thing is the whole new April in this. She was alright for this she was written well and well voice acted and an interesting character in how she is presented. Now I could have done with out the whole puking stuff which was just a bit gross but also I know alot of people complained about her appearance and I can't say I would complain about it myself but I am a bit more old school and do prefer the more classic April with the short red hair and yellow track suit lol but this April was fine for this version of the characters.
Now like I said the movie is pretty great it was a lil bit funny and a lil bit weird but like I said it also nice message about family and acceptance and finding a place where you feel like you belong in the world. The animation was very nice and smooth and the artistic style of the movie where it all looks like it is sketched and painted to have that more comic book look and feel kinda reminded me of how the Spider-Verse movies look. but the voice acting and the music as well as the many references are really nicely done.
I feel the ending of the movie tho is a bit strange where they took it but over all I thought it was great and if you are a Turtle fan then I would probably recommend it.
also there is a mid credit sequence that is interesting and kinda sets up a possible sequel.

Ok actually I initially just thought of this as a funny observation on the new wally halloween art but like. Hey wally's mouth viewed straight on looks like an eye. is there enough grounds for the theory that it is /actually/ an eye? He eats things with his mouth closed, what if that mouth is not meant for eating..
i am a little bit obsessed with the mental image of this. i’m gonna say i don’t think it actually is an eye because we’ve seen similarly drawn mouths on other characters before (sally’s character art on the neighborhood map comes to mind.) if anything, i think it’s the inverse - wally’s eyes are also functionally mouths. though i think it’s fun to note that if either of those turn out to be true, wally wouldn’t be the first character to have some weird physiology going on - frank has multiple pieces of concept art in which he is built like a cartoon owl, for example. (though frank’s physiology probably does not correlate with any reality warping abilities.)
EDIT: oooh, hey - i don’t remember if clown’s actually posted about this anywhere on social media, but i do remember some stuff he said on a stream implying the neighbors’ relationship with food and eating is Very different from ours. stuff like how food “doesn’t go bad the way we expect it to”/”time does not rot food,” among other things. i think there was something about how the neighbors don’t eat??? i’ve never seen that last bit anywhere else, though, so take that with a big big BIG grain of salt. i can’t remember the specifics of the discussion bc the streams are not recorded and this was back in like february but like i Do remember it being discussed bc i jotted down a bunch of related stuff that was brought up in relation to it. just thought that was interesting.
also, this is a tangent, but this ask reminded me of a dream i had once - i keep a dream journal, and a couple months back there was a point where every dream i wrote down turned out to be welcome home-related - but i’ll put that under a read more.
it was about welcome home as like an rpgmaker game. the only sequence from it i remember is like. playing as wally and exploring the woods and then finding a staircase leading underground. so i enter bc what else are you gonna do right?
and the room it leads to is like. this library? archive? place. it has an upper floor i never got to see bc i just kept exploring the lil papers and books that were scattered across the floor. the whole place was lit by this Very yellow overhead light and the notes i found were like, editing notes basically. like “dub over this line, sounded weird/the character would never say that,” “edit this shot bc theres a hand in view” etc etc. at some point i remember wally picking up one of the notes and writing in it to put in a good word for poppy over. Something? something about not using a name/phrase that he knew she didn’t like. i remember thinking it was sweet. But Then,
i - we? - find this huge ass ladder that i assume leads up to the second floor so i have wally scale it and this cutscene plays:
very grainy filter, very fluid animation. wally’s climbing up the ladder and he finds like increasingly weird/fucked up shit along the way. at some point i remember seeing what i think was an un-stuffed sally puppet? with no eyes. anyways wally reaches the top of the ladder and finds a crown on a nearby shelf. he puts the crown on. he turns around and perches himself on the ladder and goes limp. then the screen gets Super static-y and everything goes black and white and - this sounds like some 2000s creepypasta shit but wally’s eyes and mouth are like completely blacked out for this sequence. there’s an open book on a shelf nearby and a. glowing figure? slowly emerges from it.
this figure turns out to look like wally except like. i dont know how else to say this. its eyes are tongues? and it’s all white. and it looks at wally. climbs down the ladder. looks at the loose sally-skin and says something in this very high sing song-y voice. it sounds like that fucked up doll reciting the “now i lay me down to sleep” prayer kinda. but for the life if me i cannot make out what it says. and that’s all i remember

You know what’s lame and boring? Pitching an Ending of a series to be what I call an Ash Coma Theory. By which, I mean any variation of “Sike! The magical and whimsical adventures of a plucky lil guy is actually because he has BRAIN DAMAGE and nothing is real! Aren’t I clever for figuring that one out?”
This phenomenon, given the TV Tropes listing of Delusion Conclusion, has a tendency to affect Children’s Media more than those with Adults in mind, which I would guess is because 1) Children’s Media tends to be more Fantastic and Strange & 2) More insidiously, people like to punch down on ‘easy targets’, like older kids in their first Edgy Phase marching up to their juniors to tell them how stupid their interests are. People may not be making Ash Coma Theories specifically to burst bubbles, but the more smug and “only way this makes sense” they are about it, the clearer it becomes that they want to lord it over The Masses.
So, an Ash Coma Theory (which from here on I will refer to as ACT), is obviously derived from a rather famous example centred on the protagonist of the Pokémon anime. It’s set right after the part of episode where Pikachu sets off the electrical blast that obliterates everything in the radius — so you can at least see what causes the ‘coma’ pretty easily! The meat of the theory is talking about how Ash’s brain damage and treatments create the bizarre anime world where he never grows up, never wins the tournaments and is always pursued by a weird pair of criminals and their talking cat. Honestly though, as far as ACTs go, there’s a lot more thought put into this one, offering narrative foils and Ash projecting his absent father feelings onto Giovanni, and that he can never become Champion because that would cause the dream to end, etc. I guess my main issue with this famous Creepypasta is that the premise doesn’t fit with the lighthearted, goofy and already wish fulfilment setting that is Pokémon (and the anime in particular is on the lighter, fluffier end of the franchise!) — and this isn’t even a story that explains the Pokémon themselves away, as Pikachu is the instigator!
Instead, I think the ACT would work much better as an Isekai story, where The Protagonist is mowed down by Truck-kun and that causes the lengthy period of Weird Narrative Dreams. For best results, I’d say the 'revelation' should be saved for a few episodes in before flashing back to Protagonist getting run over, then dipping in and out of Reality and Fantasy, showing how one affects the other, but also it obviously having been the plan from the start, not just thrown in to suddenly Plot Twist and gloat about the audience never seeing it coming! Those swerves always feel like a crummy last minute switch, you gotta let the narrative run it’s natural course, even if it means people accurately guess where it’s headed. Besides, there’s still multiple ways to end this Isekai, you have a sliding scale of optimistic or tragic resolutions, but again you have to make sure that the route chosen is one you have built towards in the earlier parts of that tale. (I could put a couple of examples in, but this is getting long lol)
Keep it consistent, even in the weirder sections, and the audience should be left satisfied. Don’t tack on a sudden depressing ending without foreshadowing or that completely jars with the tone and storytelling that’s already been in place!!
So again, most ACTs suck and feel mean spirited as they try to negate something with a lighter tone into something depressing and/or extremely boring. And if you’re going to say “yeah this makes the most sense” when you’ve just proposed that [Character] is about to die and the wacky shenanigans were their extended fantasy sequence to deny reality, I will lose every shred of respect I may have had of you as a writer. Why on Earth should I hear out your ideas when this is how you’d end them?!

DELTARUNE Chapter 2 Thoughts!!!
WOOO OKAY I stayed up WAY too late trying to finish Deltarune Chapter 2 last night!! It took me awhile because I suck at video games, but I finally did it!
While I normally type up commentary as I play first time, I didn’t get the chance to do that here, so I’ll get down all my general thoughts here!
Unspoilery thoughts: loved it, knew I would, will need to replay soon to see what all I missed, and am excited for whatever’s next!
SPOILERS FOR CHAPTER 2 under the cut!!
(These are just as I think of them, not in any particular order!)
Okay overall I can see why this took two years and a much larger team to complete, the second chapter is SO much more expansive and heavy on scene-specific animations! It all looks SO GOOD
I already love Susie but now I love her even more, her expressions were SO GOOD
Susie has a (little nubby) tail confirmed?? That’s adorable
Okay this game is definitely reading the chapter 1 data, which I find interesting because I didn’t obtain it through Steam last time
But like, I gave the “Susie eats chalk” response to Noelle last time, and in chapter two she gave Susie the box of chalk, so awwww!
Also I missed Onionsan in my initial computer playthrough, so they didn’t show up this time, just got a moment of Susie and Kris sitting by the river together!
I find it REALLY interesting that while Ralsei is a Darkner, apparently he can jump around to other Dark Worlds whereas other Darkners like Lancer and Rouxls can’t so much…hmmm!
It was so nice to see everyone filling out the town now, though!
Noooo Susie probably doesn’t have her own room at home, awwww
Kris just casually jumping up to the classroom and bringing everyone back tho, perfect
Was right on there being multiple dark worlds in other locations, but honestly that part’s the least surprising to me, that always seemed like a pretty standard path to take!
The werewires were creepy and great; difficult to battle tho
QUEEN IS MY NEW FAVORITE
EVERY LINE OF HERS WAS A+
I’m so glad that I didn’t really go anywhere with Jevil’s line about the Queen in PT; nothing I came up with could’ve topped Queen being an absolute acid trip of an antagonist in this chapter
NOELLE SO SWEET
Her lil’ robot disguise! Her being afraid of mice at first!
I kinda wish we could have had her in the party more? She was super useful as a party member, honestly!
But sadly I guess we’re not gonna get more than the three-person party, awww
B E R D L Y
I cannot believe Berdly basically became incel Falco but also had a sympathetic backstory
Like I laughed a lot at all of Berdly’s expressions and dialogue while also going BERDLY YOU ARE THE WORST
Noelle’s WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? WHAT? part = A+
I feel like Queen’s relationship with Noelle definitely had some uncomfy parallels with probably how she is dealing with her real mom
I AM NOT GOOD AT PUNCH-OUT AND THERE WAS A LOT OF THAT
I somehow missed the part where Susie is wearing Ralsei’s glasses??? Where is this
Also in general there was a LOT of puzzles and gameplay in the overworld map, which I was bad at but was also very cool
KRIS GET THE BANANA
The dolphin pop-up ads…
I DID NOT LIKE THE SPAMTON GUY
DISCOMFORT THE WHOLE TIME
Apparently he’s also the secret boss for this chapter?? That’s at least if the soundtrack is anything to go by. Maybe I’ll go back and try it on another playthrough, but aaaaagggghhhg
SO MANY GOOD SUSELLE MOMENTS
MY LIL SHIPPER HEART HAS A NICE SERVING AND WANTS MORE
The whole deal with the ferris wheel conversation and just awwwwuuuuuuh
Needs more Susiezilla now too (I picked the “something romantic” option because of course)
MORE PLZ, LET’S DIG DEEPER HERE
Also I cannot believe Susie has (at least) two people crushing on her and is just totally oblivious to it
There’s SO Many interesting HMM moments with Kris and that definitely included the entire acid tunnel of love scene with Kris and Ralsei
Interrupted of course by an appropriately silly Rouxls battle
But man the more we see (or often DON’T see) of Ralsei the more intriguing it gets
LET NOELLE RIDE IN THE TEACUP RIDE WITH SUSIE
I just knew going back to get that chest without Noelle would be something dumb
OKAY I ended up dying a lot to 1) the Mauswheel, and 2) the color-changing butlers?? So I ended up having to do the whole sequence with annoying dog blasting through everything in his path multiple times
I DID feel bad for Berdly during that boss battle where he was werewired; that was nice and body horror-ish
That said… “I NEED A KISS FROM A GAMER GIRL”
The giant mecha boss battle absolutely kicked my ass, though
Like it WAS badass but that took me a LOT of tries to get through
My thrash machine was very GUN’S
Overall the difficulty curve was definitely stepped up from chapter 1!
LOTS MORE DARK WORLD AND KNIGHT LORE FROM RALSEI HERE
And lots of talk about Noelle being pretty important to it, too!
I’m glad I got to bring Susie on the walkaround this time around town!
I AM GOING TO BE YOUR WACKY ROOMMATE NOW
King and Queen’s entire conversation was so hilarious
King just slides over to suck on that sweet, sweet giant hamster water bottle
BUNKER STILL BEIN SUSPICIOUS
Aww the pizzeria is not a creepy mascot Chuck-E-Cheese’s style, tho
Confirmation that Gerson was Alvin’s father! And I feel like there’s a lot we’re missing there, too
Still not allowed to see Papyrus…
Catti’s parents…
I wasn’t expecting this at all, but it feels like they may be introducing way more Lightners to the Dark World with each chapter, since both Noelle and Berdly ended up there?
And if that’s the case, I feel like it’s hinting that Catti and/or Jockington may be next
SUSIE STAYING AT KRIS’S PLACE FOR A SLEEPOVER WAS SO SWEET
IMMEDIATELY UNDERCUT BY KRIS GOING FERAL AGAIN
Like I dunno the whole scenario somehow managed to be both REALLY sinister and very funny at once??
Susie and Toriel are busy laughing and making a pie together, meanwhile Kris just sneaks the hell out and slashes Toriel’s tires because it’s KNIVES OUT TIME
Please let Susie watch more giant monster (and giant human) movies with her friends, she needs this
THAT SAID, THAT ENDING
HMM HMM HMMMMMMMMMM
SO THIS SEEMS TO BE INDICATING THAT KRIS IS THE KNIGHT
Which like…is in fact making SOME KIND OF SENSE in my head overall, but I definitely need more context to see how exactly
Like I’m all “THIS FEELS RIGHT BUT I DON’T KNOW WHY, I NEED MOOOORE”
Considering Ralsei’s reaction to Noelle and Berdly trying to make a new fountain, this definitely seems to be setting up some kind of future confrontation between Kris and Ralsei, which! HMMMM
I THINK IT’S TIME FOR THIS GIF AGAIN
Tumblr media
Basically I HAD A GRAND TIME, I NEED TO REPLAY, EXCITED FOR THE REST WHENEVER IT COMES
