I think applying tropes commonly found in Sonadow fics to other sonic ships is very funny

Like today I saw the cute posts by Blu-ish about how hedgehogs circle and headbutt eachother when courting and how Sonic and Shadow would do that and I agree.

However I think the implication that mobian hedgehogs do this is HILARIOUS when applied to ships that only involve one hedgehog.

Like Silver starts circling around Espio one day and lightly shoving him with his hip or his shoulder and Espio is like: ???? What are you doing??

Or even Blazamy like- Amy keeps circling Blaze and the less Blaze reciprocates Amy does it more to try to get Blaze to react. Blaze eventually just tries to politely tell Amy to stop cause it’s hard to hold conversation while she’s moving all around.

But later Blaze talks to Silver and is like: “I have no idea what she is trying to do…perhaps she is finding a weakness in my stance? Should I fear her hunting me for sport???”

And Silver is like: uh. Well. I think she’s hitting on you? It’s a hedgehog thing.

And Blaze just freaks out because WHAT DO YOU MEAN AMY WAS FLIRTING WITH HER

The A stands for the Asexual community and spectrum (it also represents the Aromantic and Agender communities but I’m Asexual so I’ll be talking about that specifically in this post)

Celibacy is a choice to abstain from sex. Asexuality is a sexuality defined by a lack of sexual attraction to anyone, not by the choice to abstain from sex.

Every asexual person has different feelings on sex (an activity, not an attraction) - some are sex repulsed, some are sex neutral, and some are sex favorable. A physically pleasurable experience is not equal to an attraction to parties involved.

The Asexual community has been around since the dawn of the Queer liberation movement, and Asexual individuals have always existed.

Aphobia is real and has done tangible harm to Asexual people. Listen to and learn from their experiences.

If you make fun of Asexuals and their community jokes (dragons/cakes/cards) you are Aphobic. If you’re Asexual and you make fun of these aspects of your own community or consider them ‘cringe’ you have internalized Aphobia.

Sometimes teenagers and young people will identify as Asexual and change their label later in life. This does not mean that all young people who identify as Asexual will change their minds, nor does it mean that all people who identify as Asexual are young.

Seriously what do you people have against the dragons and cake jokes those are classic and hilarious please deconstruct why you have so much rage for harmless jokes that’s not a healthy response to silliness.

Today was Kieran's birthday, but it was the last thing that mattered to him. In fact, he vowed it would never matter to him again. Today was a beautiful day.

It was calm. Chao were having fun playing around with each other, eating as much fruit as they desired. Rivers flowed peacefully, offering itself to any critters that needed to wash themself or just simply wanted to play or cool off in the cold water.

And, most importantly, the Master Emerald was safe.

It was perfect.

Until he saw the red biplane land.

He groaned as the engine shut off and the familiar blue ball bounced out of the plane. Not necessarily at the hedgehog–not entirely, anyway–but at the fact his arrival meant something happened.

He was sure Eggman had gone on another rampage, threatening some poor city to surrender themselves or he’d take over himself. Same old routine.

Knuckles briefly wondered why it was Sonic driving the plane and not the little fox who seemed to be attached to the hedgehog’s hip. He’s still surprised Sonic owns the plane, considering how it’s Tails who always takes care of it.

With a sigh, he jumped off the shrine and used the gentle wind to glide himself over to where the biplane was. He didn’t care for the contraption all too much, but the red was nice.

“Knuckles!” The echidna’s brow creased as he landed, put off by the tone Sonic used, “we’ve got a problem!”

“I figured. Why else would you–” Knuckles was in the middle of rolling his eyes when he saw the fox cub. The thing was so tiny, it looked no more than a year old.

And then he saw the two tails.
