2. thoughts on veganism?

I'm not a vegan, but I think it's a nice choice to make if you have the means and all that. Where I live now, it's pretty cheap and easy to get plant-based alternatives to animal products and so I typically eat a mostly plant-based diet due to my dislike of industrial farming. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with eating meat in itself, though, and veganism isn't accessible for everyone (either due to dietary constraints, availability, cost, whatever). Also, not a fan of how vegan is often marketed/conflated as inherently healthier!

7. what animal do you look forward to seeing when you visit an aquarium?

The fish!!! :D I love all fishes!! But if I have to choose, the chondricthyans, probably. I see a shark and I go feral. I really want to go to one of those places where you can pet a ray!! I think I have been to an aquarium where they had a ray petting pond, but I wasn't able to partake for whatever reason? Anyway, yeah. Shark :)

11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to?

Plushies, mostly - I have my first teddy bear and an Andrex puppy here and more at my mum's. One I need to find when I visit my mum's is a limited edition beanie baby Andrex puppy who once got thrown into a tree (by accident) by my friend at school when we were, like, 6, and turned up three years later, faded but unharmed, and who is an Important Artifact to me as a result. I also have a badger skull I found under an outside bench at a pub once, if that counts. I have a lot of books I've kept for years, too - most notably, my Warriors and Series of Unfortunate Events books; a beautiful architecture book given to me by my grandad when I was first born; and a book about the goddess Kali.

Oh, I don't know where they are, but honourable mention to the stories we found that I'd written when I was 5 or so and kept because they were funny. One was about a cat that befriended another cat and made plans to hang out later; the other was about a girl whose mum got crucified, rescued, beheaded, and later, resurrected. I wrote them on the same day.

20. favorite disney princess movie?

Oohhh, I haven't watched one for years!! I liked Moana when I saw it in the cinema. I think my favourite as a kid was The Little Mermaid. I remember watching it (and its sequel!) a LOT when I was young.

Artistic licence So....and I swear this is true. Apart from picking all the raggedy bits off and hoovering up the mess (snarl), this fashion moment was created by my cat. He loves loo roll. Really incredibly hard, and the loo rolls rarely survive his tender embrace. So, until Andrex come get their bloody puppy, I get to enjoy his artistic efforts. It's usually just scrag and rips and general calamity, but I felt this trigger a vague memory - this was an entire bog roll until the Chaos Fairy did his thang - but what....? Where....? why did you react like that when being asked to gif malese? didn't you ask for suggestions?

Hi anon! I did but I knew that was one of like a very small number of people because of the you know why so I joked back with them with the who did this????

For context I have already giffed Malese (and had 3k gifs of her) and they never got released due to someone no longer in the community screaming at me for four hours over how giffing someone she'd made gifs of before was an attack on her gifs, an attempt to push down resources by actual Natives because I had more followers than her (I don't) and a whole lot of other stuff, until I had a breakdown and deleted them.

If my answer came off as anything other than playful I am sorry. But I knew someone was doing it for a playful reason.

And yes I know I'm an adult, the deleting is on me. I've never been screamed at before with that intensity and I'm also someone who cries at the andrex puppies on the TV.

Hello, do you think you could help me find a plush from my childhood? It’s a Golden retriever or labrador that’s lying down. It has eyes made of glass, a ”leathery” nose and it has embroidered paw pads. Its also fillers with plastic beans!

I can definitely try my best! A few more details would be helpful:

-about how big were they? are we talking bigger than a foot long, beanie baby sized, something else? about 20 cm long (7-8 inches).  

-is there a year you would definitely have had it before? 2000-2001. 

-how floppy or stiff was the body? floppy but still a bit stiff, could move it around easily

-was the mouth open or closed? did it have a tongue sticking out? closed

-what was their fur texture like? if you're struggling to describe it, you can show me a plush that has a similar one. none of these match the description of your pup, but are any of the textures close? a, b, c

-c is the closest texture

-was their fur all the same or was it different on the ears, legs, or face? all the same

-how close to realistically proportioned were they? more like an adult dog, a puppy, or a cartoon version of a dog? again, none of these match the description, but are any of the proportions/styles definitely right or wrong: d, e, f

 It was like a mix between a puppy an adult dog It looked a lot like the last one, the F! But it’s not the one in the picture

edit: OP answered the questions! I put their answers in bold. 

edit 2: OP, here are some possibilities for you! The first three are variations on the Andrex puppy. I think the noses might still be wrong, but maybe one is right? The last one almost certainly isn’t right, as they’re sitting rather than laying, but I wanted to show you anyway since I’ve seen so few with embroidered pawpads. let me know if these spark anything!

11. anything from your childhood you’ve held on to?

A few things! I try not to cart around vast quantities of junk (hey, I learned my lesson from Labyrinth...). Mainly books (a couple of ancient Muppet annuals, Haunted House, fairytale books, Look-In TV Annual from 1984, most of the stuff I read as a teenager...), some writing books from school, and a handful of beloved toys, in particular Sammy, my beloved, sad-looking, Andrex puppy, who I always swore I would be buried with (I was a morbid child).

13. first thing you’re doing in the purge?

lol! Hm. Mostly I'd just want to lock my doors and have a night off, tbh. I'm not into mortal combat for consumer goods. I might go find the neighbour who has one of those exhausts that goes 'pop' loudly and take a baseball bat to his car...

27. what’s your favorite or go-to outfit?

Jeans, logo T-shirt, trainers. I have a decent collection of T-shirts with stealth references - so my Kellerman's Mountain House one, or Frog Comics, or the White Dragon Noodle Bar, or the Raven Tavern...I love a good nerdy reference. XD
