A low-speed train on Enith. Enith has a pretty extensive train network, both above and below ground. Granted, the above ground trains tend to be partially submerged anyways.
There are also high-speed trains used in specific situations on Enith, but they’re more often than not limited to a handful of jobs and functions, such as emergency medical and fire management services.
Sadly a human person would only barely fit in one of these. Both species of Corldaxians from Enith are. Short. The tallest one is like five foot which does not translate well to humans having comfortable beds.

OK so could someone please explain what the fuck is going on with Dottore's age to me?? Cause like in the Sumeru Archon quest he's referred to as that dude who got kicked out and became a Harbinger, implying that this was recent enough for people to remember him and his crimes against life itself or whatever.
But then in Scaramouche's backstory he was a fully grown adult 300 years ago?? And had enough bullshit going on to know what was happening in Tatarasuna and do his fun little murder spree???
And like yeah I know segments but they don't explain this cause they're clones of him at different ages it doesn't mean he can time travel.
So here's the only options I can think of:
1)He's like 400 but his dramatic murder-and-drop-out is legendary enough at the Akademiya that everyone still knows him by face (which doesn't really explain the Zandik notes but whatever)
2)He can fucking time travel now
Or 3) He's doing that Twilight thing where every few years he goes back to the Akademiya for shits and giggles, but the most recent visit is when he got kicked out
Personally I'm with option 3 but fuck if I can think of something that makes sense. Lore masters, pls assist.

hii omg hiii here's an ask: are there any sea monsters or sea creatures in general that you've made for promethea? and if not (or if theyre not the focus at all) can I know more about pegasi then? They've got some rly cool shapes and I'm interested if youve got more on them :3
HIII hi hello :33 i do actually have a few sea creatures! i answered another ask about it a little while ago:
BUT i have some more and i'll take any excuse to talk about my beasts. first off a bit of backstory tho:
cassandra had a fairly recent worldwide extinction event (around 12-15 kya) that was pretty devastating to the various biospheres and almost caused the extinction of the human race as a whole. there used to be a LOT more megafauna and a lot more ancient species that simply couldn't hold on through everything that happened. hence why the only hexapodal sea life are whales and probably a few small things digging around somewhere. ANYWAY.
whales! a few species of carnivorous whale that live around promethea, the most widespread being the striped whale and the dwarf whale. the striped whale lives in the northern ocean (off the coast of cadaver's domain) and hunts almost anything, including the coastal cliff dweller pegasi. dwarf whales are much smaller and hunt in pods, eating mostly fish. speaking of fish
most of them look about like this! these are just two examples, and i used to have more art of them but i can't for the life of me find it, so this is all i have for now LOL. they're technically more closely related to cassandra's arthropod equivalents, but theyre kind of all their own weird thing. i love them.

Listen, I’m a Destiny lore nerd. I’ve had a lot of ideas and theories about Lightfall. But none of them, absolutely stone-cold none of them, were “Independence Day takes Neo-Tokyo and we get to be Spider-Man.” Not if I guessed for a month would I have come up with that. I tuned in a few seconds after the trailer start and thought I was watching a Twitch ad. Bungie I congratulate you on a swerve so hard I barely even noticed the whiplash straight from “season of confronting deep trauma and repressed emotions” into “YO LET’S BE PIRATES”
To be clear, none of these are complaints. But my god. “Secret city on Neptune and we get magic grappling hooks” was not how I expected today to go.
p.s. FISH
p.p.s. when will my boy come home to the war

While this is absolutely not the case and also really stupid, it would still be funny if, since we haven't actually heard Sir Pentious' voice yet, he wasn't actually being voiced by Alex Brightman and they were just having Brightman cover for the big surprise that Pentious is still being voiced by Stamper, with Stamper being the only pilot VA to return. Again, absolutely not the case, but man it would be so fuckin funny-

saw a few posts about feral!steve and i had thoughts.
steve teaches himself a lot of things. he teaches himself how to care for his car. teaches himself how to cook, how to be alone for weeks/months at a time without going insane. and most of all, he teaches himself how to care about other people.
he went to the richard harrington school of "people are only worth what they can give you in regards to money, status and power (even if you're talking about your own wife and child)". so, empathy? sympathy? not exactly on the curriculum. the first question is never "how can i help? what can i give?" but "how can i use this? what can i take?". if the answer to those questions is "nothing" than that person is nothing to him, too. no reason to spare them another moment or thought.
and for the first 16 or so years of his life, this works pretty well for him. tommy and carol both basically went to the same school - just with different headmasters. so, when they meet at school they take one look at each other and just know. like attracts like.
but then he meets nancy wheeler and in those fateful days of autumn in 1983 he gets a crashcurse in "caring about more than yourself." they're pretty formative days.
after, he tries to live by nancy's example but it's not as easy as she makes it look. he starts people watching - trying to parse out what that whole empathy/sympathy thing is supposed to look like. he's always been pretty good at noticing things, at analysing wants and needs. but comprehending what other people are feeling? and reacting accordingly? that's another beast entirely. so it's no wonder really that his relationship with nancy explodes spectacullarly.
it takes him months and years to teach himself how to listen to his fathers voice inside his head and then do the exact opposite. but still, his capacity to care is mostly restricted to the people he considers his (and to some extent the people his people love).
so he doesn't use the nailbat on max's brother and takes the beating intended for lucas. accepts that nancy is better off with jonathan and quiets the voice inside him, that wants retribution. takes the kids teasings without lashing out and learns how to appologise when his patience fails. learns how to be kind.
but he has no such kindness for those outside his circle. for russian guards and monsters and evil in human form.
in 1986, he (officially) meets eddie munson. someone that couldn't be more different from him than the sun to the moon. because eddie cares - he cares so much. maybe even too much. so he taught himself to be mean. to be loud and scary and unapproachable as a defense mechanism.
and steve looks at this boy that carries his heart on a leather clad sleeve and thinks "oh." because opposites attract. and maybe, sometimes, what a warm hearted boy that learned how to be cold needs is a cold hearted boy who learned how to be warm.
so, when some jock assholes thinks they can put his hands on eddie, steve lets coldness seep into his eyes, takes the nailbat from his trunk and shows them why they called him king once.

the totally nonexistent (on the screen) kendall/rava/stewy situation is so fascinating to me...stewy brings up rava in one of his first lines on the show just to be annoying and then offers kendall coke, rava brings up kendall's drug use multiple times as the main issue leading to their divorce, kendall uses his kids as an excuse to sneak out at night in s3 and go talk to stewy (insane scene)...that sign in the bar kendall and stewy go to that says something like my next husband will be normal. you get what i'm saying. there's not actually anything textually there, but logically there was something at one point. before anything happened.

My prediction is: BH wake up in a “safe” place (either the moon, somewhere else or where they woke up that morning), but both Orym and Fearne are still dead, even in the case that it was just a dream (not a fan of the dream theory either, but them being dead would make it less of a cop out). Imogen is also nowhere to be found for the time being.
Yeah, I think there's a few options here that preserve most of the party and still provide Consequences™. We'll see, i suppose. Imogen being contained™™™™ or isolated after the city-levelling is an idea I find enticing, but PROBABLY not within the main campaign? I'm on the fence about it as actual campaign plot, but I'll have a great time with any fics written about it, I'm sure.
