as you already know, the great war is an ethan x mc song fullstop. i already made an outrageously lengthy post about it so i won't expand here but yeah -- these two are ready to go to war and get at each other's throats way too easily. but then when they're together, they would go to war for one another. all because they survived the great war.

paris!! especially because that was one of the places they visited on their honeymoon <3 also 'romance is not dead if you keep it just yours' its LITERALLY so true & so them. they're both very private people, and to them their relationship is something sacred, something that is just theirs.

labyrinth!! like are you kidding me is miss taylor swift secretly an oph stan or smth?? how are all the songs so spot on?? i think this relationship is the most intense either one of them have been in, and all these feelings- they're absolutely terrifying. also 'never trust it if it rises fast'?? it perfectly summarizes their journey and their whirlwind of a romance -- the high post ch15 to the fall of ethan leaving without a word. i love how it can double as both a heartbreak song for these two but then later becomes a love song. because it all worked out in the end, and the both of them truly would break their back to make the other break a smile <3

also because i'm extra & love to ramble -- maroon is definitely a raleigh x lana (raleigh is the guy lana 'dated' while ethan was in his flop era and she..... kinda broke his heart). the sad thing is that in another life, they would have literally been perfect together and i do have an au where they end up together <3 but yeah the switch from 'i chose you' to 'i lost you' & the line 'sobbing with your head in your hands, aint that the way shit always ends' YIKES this song is so them like the song has a definite feel of an inevitable ultimatum, and ultimately their relationship couldn't survive because she was in love with someone else. in that same vein, midnight rain also works for them she truly was midnight rain while he was sunshine.

also also!! you're on your own kid is SUCH a lana song <333 it really perfectly encapsulates her growth and how she left her home and started a new life all on her own. she's always been on her own, but she's made it (and now she's not so alone anymore). also omfg karma <333 its essentially a massive fuck you to her dad because she's out here living her best life while he'll never be able to because well.... he's the worst. and sometimes the best revenge is simply living your best life. also okay last song before i shut up but omfg would've could've should've. i know that the song is about a toxic predatory relationship, but alot of the lyrics also work for a toxic parent-child dynamic. like 'memories feel like weapons', 'the tomb won't close i fight with you in my sleep, 'if clarity's in death then why won't this die' and of COURSE 'give me back my girlhood it was mine first' AHHH it all screams lana </3 she hasn't spoken to her dad in almost 8 years by the time she starts at edenbrook...... and yet.

Marlene ran down the stairs, heading to Hogsmeade for the day. She was running late to meet up with Mary and Lily, having been in detention that morning. Her trainers untied, Marlene ran as she put on her denim jacket. Until abruptly halting at the sight of Dorcas Meadowes, standing in the castle's front door.

They turned at the sight of her.

"What do you want?" Marlene huffed, trying to walk past them and out of the castle.

Dorcas stopped her, "You've been avoiding me."

Marlene felt her stomach drop, her eyes begging to flee. She folded her arms and tried to leave once more.

Dorcas stopped her, "Stop running away, Mckinnon! Just tell me why you've been avoiding me!"

"Why do you care?" Marlene groaned, "We hate each other, you can't stand the sight of me so why can't you just be happy about my absence?"

Dorcas stuttered, a small frown gracing their face.

"I don't know."

Marlene turned, walking through the doorway and outside.

"But I do know you love antagonising me. So why stop now?"

"Maybe I just got bored of it", she huffed, refusing to turn around.

Dorcas stepped outside, "Maybe. But I don't think that's it."

She risked a glance to them, "What do you think is it then?"

Dorcas took another step, "Why do people ignore someone?"

"Hatred." Marlene bared her teeth as she spoke.

Dorcas took yet another step, inches away from Marlene and noticed the growing blush on the girl's cheeks.

List of REDЯUM controversies chronologically:

Prior to fame, in 2015, REDRUM was involved in a nightclub brawl. When the authorities arrived, lead singer Lacie Lane attacked a police officer, biting his palm and kicking him in the ribs. The band claimed her actions were a result of intoxication, self defense, and the club’s poor lighting. Lane spent a night in jail for the misdemeanor but was released without charge.

Lane and bandmate Rowan Hart were deported from Germany in 2019. Precise accounts vary, but it is corroborated that in the early hours of the morning, Lane and Hart nailed a condom to a wall and lit it on fire “for light.” They were arrested for attempted arson, spent three hours in police custody, and deported the same day. Seven Lawless’ work permit was revoked a few days later and bandmates Iris De Luca and Devyn Powell had to recover the band’s equipment on their own. REDRUM has since apologized for disturbing Germany’s peace and has no plans to play in Europe again.

In 2020, Lane threatened a fan who approached her on the street, stating, “I’ll fucking bite you.” According to Lane, she mistook the fan for a reporter who had been harassing her both online and offline following her split from Lawless. The fan has stated she feels no ill will towards Lane: “[m]y idol just yelled at me. It was awesome.”

Lane was flamed on social media and accused of classism in 2022 when she tweeted, “this city fucking sucks” and a photo of herself and Hart in Newark, New Jersey. Following the backlash, she tweeted, “i was born here you fucking morons.” Lane has made no further comments.

REDRUM was accused of cheating in 2023’s Battle of the Bands following their win. No proof of these accusations has since emerged.

In addition, REDRUM reportedly physically attacked their competitors, Underground Wastebasket, the night of their win. Accounts vary.

In 2021, Lane trashed ex-boyfriend and now-former bandmate Seven Lawless on social media, referring to him as a “phony artist,” “belligerent nincompoop,” and “therapist’s dream patient,” in addition to posting a selfie of herself in a shirt displaying the words “best ex-girlfriend.” Following REDRUM’s BotB win, these posts resurfaced along with criticism of Lane’s behavior as childish, unprofessional, and proof of REDRUM’s win as undeserving. As of 2023, Lane has not addressed the posts, but they have been deleted. Lane has since been regularly seen wearing the “best ex-girlfriend” t-shirt.

In 2023, Lane lost consciousness while performing at the Orpheum, falling over the edge of the stage and injuring two fans. Lane was reportedly drinking copious amounts of alcohol prior to the concert. According to REDRUM’s manager, Orion Quinn, Lane has paid for all damages, including one of the fan’s hospital fees.

gojo could only stare at you, jaw dropped. all he could think of was how on earth did you do that and how could someone so...cute and adorable like you send out that kind of punch. honestly, on one side he felt so betrayed to only know of your power now — but on the other side, he's so damn proud of you.

TOJI FUSHIGURO. he's always thought that protecting you was one of his main duty, and believe me when i say that toji is always on guard for anything that could possibly send harm your way. feral animals, harmful plants, annoying babies, curses, anything he finds annoying — he just assumes you don't like them either.

despite not having a cursed energy, toji is strong. anyone would agree with that. so when he settled in with you, someone who radiates such loving and gentle aura, toji made it his job to keep you out of harm's way.

but apparently, you've got that under covered.

being in a relationship meant going out on dates occasionally, right? however, some people do not understand the meaning of "i have a boyfriend" and it annoys you. so when toji was away to fetch a few things and you were left alone, a stranger felt like it was the best time to hit on you.

"saw ya' from a couple of minutes ago, thought you're cute. we should hang out."

obviously the word "no" didn't work as he kept on bothering you, and you do know how people react when they don't get what they want sometimes? they just plain out throw words to boost up their ego and deny their own embarrassment. it's funny.

"whatever. ya' aren't that cute anyways." everything began out as an exchange of words — until anger consumes the best out of them. the male got ready to swung his hand on you.

and believe me when i say that toji was having the time of his life watching you exchange angry words with the guy, until he saw the male raise his hand. toji was about to drop everything and come to your rescue, but stopped when you smacked the stranger across his face harshly it sent him stumbling over his own feet.

toji chuckled lightly, although surprised. that day, i swore he promised himself not to get on your bad side (also, he thought it was pretty hot of you). he told you he'd been watching from afar, and was so ready to be your knight in shining armor.

apparently, you are your own knight in shining armor.

NANAMI KENTO. for the longest time, nanami has stood his ground in defending you from malices and curses. some of the people do not like the idea of you and him together, especially girls who failed to obtain his attention (obviously). and he'd always be the one to tell them to piss off and not to butt in his relationship.

you were just a normal businesswoman working normal office hours, and nanami — well, he's a pretty busy man. but he has made himself visible to your work environment a couple of times, mostly because you were clumsy enough to forget your bento box that you made for yourself before going to work.

and apparently that few times was enough to make girls swoon over your boyfriend. honestly, you could care less. you trust nanami. but things went rock bottom when this one particular girl, a co-worker who was obviously jealous of you. and she doesn't hesitate in showing that to you.

"accidentally" spilling coffee on you, "accidentally" stepping on your foot with her heels, "accidentally" bumping into you, "accidentally" elbowing your head when she walks by. just everything in an attempt to get a reaction out of you so she could possibly play the victim card.

you brushed her every attempt off, although it bothered you quite a bit. but your last straw was when she "accidentally" ruined the report you've been working on for the past week, sacrificing your rest and sweat for it — only for her to dump down a cup of iced macchiato on it the day you were supposed to hand it in to your boss.

you've just had enough of her, and this was not something you can brush off like her other "accidents" because this report would affect your position in the company (and possibly get you fired). but at this point, do you even care? no, no you don't.

"so, is this the part where i hit her?" you ask another co-worker who was there in the room when everything happened, and they nervously shook their head, "really? i feel like this is the part where i do."

so when you did send a punch to her jaw, your other co-workers were quick to run find help (your boss). and all it took was one punch to make the girl wobble weakly, her knees buckling.

oh, and your boss wasn't too happy about your resort in violence, especially in the work area.

"i don't care, i'm fired anyways." you took off the company's id card that was hanging from around your neck and tossed it onto the table before packing your bag to leave.

your boss wasn't the only unhappy one, you were too. and nanami as well.

"it isn't my fault, kento."

"i know, darling. i'm not saying it's your fault, i'm just surprised...that's all."

well, that was the first time you've ever threw a punch to someone. and the first time you've ever been fired, so yes. it is a surprise to nanami, but to you? you were expecting it sooner or later with the pace of how that co-worker was going in with her shenanigans.

°˖ ⊹ ꒰🌱꒱ ♡ definitely don’t expect killua to be the sappy, super overly affectionate type. he will either call you a dumbass or stupid or some other insult. but when you protest he’ll just be like “whatt? i meant it in a nice way.”

killua is not a pda guy. the most he’ll do in public is hold your hand and even that’s a coin toss. he isn’t that fond of things like that anyway, but mostly he’s just worried that if an enemy of his sees you with him that they’ll target you in order to hurt killua. he’ll never admit that, though.

in private it is a different story. he lets you play with his hair and likes to lay with his head in your lap. once he fell asleep like that and woke up so embarrassed even though you told him over and over that it was fine and you thought it was cute, which just made it worse. it’s rare he’s the one initiating physical affection, but it does happen. it’s slightly awkward when you first start dating though, since obviously that’s a new concept to killua. i can definitely imagine him doing that yawn and stretch move when you’re watching a movie or something, but when you reciprocate his affection killua gets all flustered.

killua has legitimately no idea what to do in a romantic relationship. hell, he doesn’t know what a good family relationship should even look like, and he never made a friend until he was like 12, so healthy relationships are a foreign concept. he will be absolutely flabbergasted when you buy him gifts every once in a while just to make him happy, and he’s shocked when you buy him chocolate robots for Valentine’s Day, and he is beyond confused when you give him compliments or tell him that you love him.

killua always admonishes you when you buy him stuff. whenever you bring him something he’ll just stare at it and scoff. “why do you even bother buying me stuff? i’m rich enough to buy your whole family and more, so why do you even bother getting me stuff like this?”

he always takes it anyway so don’t even mind him. killua has a specific place where he keeps your gifts. when he’s away from home he keeps them on him in a knapsack or wherever he’s staying at the time, but when he’s at the zoldyck mansion, killua locks everything away in a box safely hidden and always keeps the key on him so his family can’t get to it.

speaking of his family. you are definitely out of your mind if you think killua is willingly taking you to meet them. absolutely not in a million years. if ever killua does need to go back to his home for something, usually to check on alluka, you are staying wherever you are until he gets back. he will also ask gon to keep an eye on you if gon happens to be traveling with you. killua would rather his family just not know about you at all lest the zoldycks do the same to you as they sometimes do with alluka- capture you, and then hold you over killua’s head and threaten you whenever they want him to do something.

okay enough with the angsty stuff and back to how literally clueless killua is about dating. when gon who is the rizz god for some fucking reason informs him that he needs to take you out on dates, killua is blindsided. at first he just takes you places he likes to go, like the skate park or heavens arena to watch fights, but gon pulls him aside again at some point and says that he needs to take you places that you enjoy. which is something that killua is kind of stubborn about at first, but he does actually want to make you happy, so he obliges.

there’s this post on like twitter or something where this guy is talking about how since spending time with his gf she has him watching stupid shit he would never watch like twilight or grey’s anatomy. that is basically what happens with killua. he’s doing stuff with you that he never thought he would do in a million years and enjoying it for whatever reason. don’t tell anyone though because he gets so embarrassed

one of the things he found out that he likes is wearing eyeliner. you made sone offhanded comment about it and that his eyes look like a cat’s and suddenly you were doing eyeliner for him. it took a lot of convincing, but when killua sees how good it looks on him, he’s asking you to do it for him every day. eventually you teach him how to do it himself as well

killua winds up going to gon a lot for relationship advice. what does he do when you’re sad? go to gon. what should he do for your birthday? ask gon! should he get you new shoes or a new jacket? what do you think, gon?

killua rarely lets you pay for stuff. he’s rich so he doesn’t see why he should

whenever you’re on your phone or reading a book or something, killua will randomly appear behind you and put his head on your shoulder and just watch what you’re doing in silence. but if he sees you’re doing something like online shopping, just scrolling through items, killua will tap the screen whenever he sees something he likes for you. he especially likes to pick out your clothes, and he’s actually good at it. unlike the going out on dates thing, he picks out what he thinks you will like and what looks good on you. honestly killua was the only character who actually changed clothes every day in the show so he’s good with fashion lmao. most of the time he’ll buy the item for you too

killua also doesn’t mind too much if you steal his clothes, like his hoodies or hats. he might not let you take the newer stuff, but he doesn’t mind letting you parade around in his clothes. on the flip side he will also steal some of yours.

killua is very much that bf who claims “im not hungry” but then proceeds to steal half your food. so you’ve learned that whenever he says that to order twice the food

around people he knows, mainly people he doesn’t like, killua likes to show you off- but in a subtler way. like he might casually hold your hand just to show everyone “yeah, i have a partner. no big deal haha”

you literally never have to worry about killua cheating on you. he is fiercely loyal. he’s not one of those bfs that, when approached by another girl or guy, is like “oh, im sorry, but i have a partner.” nah he’s sprinting full speed in the opposite direction of whoever’s trying to approach him. either that or he’s just super rude to anyone who asks for his number or is romantically interested in him.

*cue random mf who wants him* “hi! i thought you seemed really cool and i wanted to know if-“

“nah i got a partner”

“well i just was wondering-“

“fuck out my face im dating someone”

“just-“

“hell nah”

in addition to that, killua is very much the jealous type. if you haven’t watched the phantom rouge movie go watch it rn and tell me killua isn’t jealous. anyone else who makes you smile or laugh or makes the mistake of touching you, killua instantly hates. he always makes sure to be there whenever you’re around that person. situations like that are an exception to his PDA rule- he’ll throw an arm around your shoulder or waist if he’s feeling really protective, or hold your hand. he doesn’t get jealous about gon, though- all three of you are friends and he knows for sure gon wouldn’t try anything on you in a million years.

killua may or may not go a little overboard with his jealousy at times, though. he might mistake a simple interaction for someone trying to get with you

killua is on the protective side and doesn’t really like for you to be out without him or gon. if you aren’t back within a certain timeframe he’ll start spamming your phone with texts and calls to make sure you’re okay.
