“Blood would not spurt like that.” Ryona said from the couch where she sat sandwiched between Bash and Ayame, waving towards the screen where a B-rated horror movie played. “It’s medically impossible for it to be that violent.” “I don’t know.” Vexx interrupted, kicking his feet up on the coffee table and leaning into the seat of the metal chair he’d smuggled from the kitchen. A bowl of popcorn sat precariously on his lap. “I’ve seen some interesting blood splatter when people are shot or stabbed. Nothing is impossible, Doc.” Ryona glared at him, but didn’t say anything else like the fact that she’d seen a lot during her time as an Archangel, opting instead to lean into Bash. Her boyfriend threw an arm over her shoulders, not once taking his gaze from the film. Astrea smirked from where she lay on the floor with Damon, hidden amongst a pile of pillows and blankets. He was stretched out on his back, one arm tucked behind his head while the other was wrapped around her while she rested her head against his chest. His fingers toyed with the edge of the shirt she wore, brushing against her hip every few minutes.

“Why? Why are they doing that?” Ayame asked with a squeak, covering her eyes with her hands, only to peek through her fingers to continue watching. “What is the point of any of this?”

Damon rolled his eyes and Astrea bit her lip to keep from laughing. “The point is to scare yourself.”

“Who wants to be scared on purpose?” Aya pulled her blanket up around her shoulders, hiding beneath the fabric.

“Oh come on, Aya. It isn’t that bad.” Bash pointed at the screen with his free hand, smiling widely until a victim got decapitated. He grimaced at the sight. “Oh, maybe it’s a little much.”

“It’s fake.” Damon muttered, turning his head to graze his lips over Astrea’s hair. “Besides, decapitation is too messy. Better off going for the jugular and being done with it.”

“You are not helping.” Aya snapped, throwing the blanket over her head so she couldn’t see the screen.

“It’s not even that scary.” Vexx stated, stuffing a handful of popcorn into his mouth. “You should lighten up.”

Astrea glanced up at Damon, but he was already watching her, a smirk curling his lips. Without even bothering to shift his gaze to his friend, he waited for the moment when she read his plans in his eyes to open his mouth. “Good thing there aren’t any snakes in tonight’s movie. Otherwise, carrot head would probably piss himself.”

Vexx nearly choked on the food in his mouth. When he managed to clear his throat, he glared in their direction, emerald nothing more than a sliver. “Astrea has a big mouth and I wasn’t scared. It surprised me.”

“You nearly fell into a fountain, Vexx.” Astrea added, only to draw Aya back out from under her blanket in a fit of giggles.

Vexx’s cheeks flared almost as red as his hair. “We’re missing the movie with this stupid shit.”

“Making fun of you is more entertaining.” Damon grinned at him, not even bothering to move an inch from where he was cuddled up with Astrea.

Vexx flipped him off.

All it did was get another laugh out of Damon. Astrea snuggled closer, her fingers trailing down his chest, her focus totally not on the movie and he didn’t mind that fact not one bit.

“Oh!” Ryona’s frown deepened, ignoring the rest of them to wave at the screen. “That’s entirely ridiculous!”

“I think you’re supposed to suspend your disbelief, Ry.” Bash said, a smile twitching his lips that he somehow managed to smother when she glanced at him. “Uh, I mean, it’s all in good fun.”

She sighed, rubbing a finger against her temple. “Yes. I know. I’m sorry.”

“No, keep ripping the film apart.” Aya said, no longer cocooned in the stupid blanket. “It’s not as scary if you destroy it with logic.”

“You’re still going to have nightmares tonight.” Damon called over to her. She threw the remote at him, only for him to grab it midair before it hit either him or Astrea. He held it out mockingly, shaking it a bit to drive home the point.

Astrea pulled the remote from his hands, shifting in order to press a kiss to his cheek. When he glanced down at her, his blue eyes softened the moment he noticed the smile aimed at him. “Let’s just enjoy the movie, okay?”

He returned her smile with a grin of his own. He found it getting increasingly difficult to deny her anything. “Yeah.”

Damon leaned forward, pressing a kiss to her waiting lips. Her responding grunt of delight was reward enough.

Ayame started to gag, getting a laugh from Bash (and most likely an eye roll from Ryona). He ignored them, tangling his hand in Astrea’s silver hair, pulling gasps from her mouth. It was barely a few seconds before Vexx’s entire bowl of popcorn was dumped on their heads, the kernels now covering their hair, their skin, their clothes.

Astrea turned away to sneeze, but Damon’s eyes were for the man standing a foot or two away, a dickish grin on his face. If Astrea wasn’t best friends with him, if she didn’t actually care about what happened to him…

“I’ll fucking kill you.”

“What the hell do you put on that popcorn, Vexx?” Astrea asked, shaking red powder out of her hair, sneezing again. “It hurts my eyes.”

“Chili powder and paprika.” He said with a laugh, moving out of Damon’s reach… not that he couldn’t get him with other means. Like a knife, in the shower, days later.

“You ruined a perfectly good bowl of popcorn!” Ayame shouted from the couch, jumping up to grab the empty bowl, her terror completely forgotten in her exasperation.

Vexx raised an eyebrow, but kept his eyes on Damon. “You can go make more.”

Ayame glared at him, violet eyes flashing dangerously. “I’m talking about the seasoning. It’s an affront to decent food. You heathen.”

“As if you know anything about ‘decent food’.” Vexx shot back, clearly offended. “We’re lucky if we don’t get food poisoning from the crap you make.”

“At least I can still feel my taste buds after I make something to eat.”

“As much as I hate to admit that Vexx has a point,” Damon cut in, getting a withering glare from the pilot. “You eat peanut butter sandwiches, Aya.”

“Don’t forget the jam she buys.” Vexx scrunched his face in disgust, as if he knew anything about the mass produced sugary shit that Ayame consumed on a daily basis.

Ayame chucked the bowl at Vexx and it bounced off of his big head, landing in Bash’s lap as he watched from the couch. “Watch it!”

Ryona cleared her throat loudly, cutting into whatever delightfully detailed insult Aya was cooking up. Which was disappointing, but it gave Damon the chance to dig beneath the blankets as Vexx turned to glance at the doctor, fishing out the little surprise they had for the former K’Merii.

“Hey, carrot head?”

When Vexx turned back around, he was immediately suspicious of Damon’s tone, slanting his eyes as he tried to figure out what he wanted before he asked. He failed. “What?”

“Catch.”

He tossed the object in his hands towards his friend, only for Vexx to realize halfway through attempting to grab it out of the air what it was. A snake.

The scream that came from Vexx’s mouth nearly made Damon lose it, but it was the expression of terror and the way he tripped over his own feet on the way out of the room that did it for him. Damon fell against the pillows in laughter, his breaths coming in short and painful gasps. Aya had joined him in the pile with tears streaming down her face before she buried it in a pillow, muffling the sounds from her mouth.

“That wasn’t nice.” Ryona muttered, but she couldn’t hide the twitch of her lips as she fought a grin, golden eyes on the rubber snake abandoned on the floor. “Can we continue watching the movie now?”

Damon inhaled deeply, willing air back into his lungs. It took a few tries before he could speak again. He stood, hauling Astrea along with him, helping her to pick out a few more pieces of popcorn before tossing it at Aya who was still in tears. “Good luck with that, Ry.” He tossed his arm around Astrea, pulling her tightly against him. “We have a date with a shower.”

A sound of disgust followed them out of the room and he laughed, content to spend his night far away from the idiots as possible. Especially if it meant more alone time with his princess.

Archangel Jophiel

Every single one of us has a Twin Flame. Our opposite, the being that was present with us at the time of creation, a component of the whole, a pair of halves that represent the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, yin and yang, and Alpha and Omega. This is what we refer to as a twin flame. At the beginning of incarnation, these two halves of the one are separated and sent forth into reality to learn and develop so that they can eventually return to the source as a creature that has reached its full potential. The concept of re-union serves as the impetus for a twin unit. Together, they are able to aid one another in reaching their full potential. The longer the twin flames progress upward, the more their energies combine and they are able to reconnect. They evolve into a more powerful functional unit that is dedicated to serving humanity. Particularly clear is the unity that exists between God and the Elohim.

The following is a list of the Elohim and Archangels, along with their respective Twin Flames; this information is also connected to the seven rays.

The Elohim and their Eternal Companions

Hercules and Amazonia are the Elohim that represent the First Ray.

Apollo and Lumina are the Elohim who serve the Second Ray.

Elohim of the Third Ray, Heros and Amora are the names of these beings.

Cyclopea and Virginia are the Elohim associated with the Fifth Ray.

Elohim of the Sixth Ray, bringing you Aloha and Peace.

Weapon Skill:

When a normal attack hits the enemy there is a 15% chance of inflicting 20% reduced defence to the enemy. Infliction rate changes depending on enemy resistance.

Assist skill that targets an ally and recovers 20HP for 4 turns. Target: 1 Ally

My Opinion:

The Star Smasher, Water Dragon Hammer, Ende's Hammer, and Metal Slime Hammer are great weapons to pull for!

The Star Smasher is the second most strongest Hammer, having pretty high Attack, a weapon skill, a really strong main skill, and excellent sub skill slot growth. It hits heavy and hard against your enemies. Great for aggresive Gladiators and Pirates. This is the best weapon to offer in the gacha as far as strength, skill, sub slot growth, and overall usefulness.

The Water God Hammer although it's Attack isn't the highest it does have a strong elemental attribute, weapon skill, main skill, and above average sub skill slot growth. Its great for a Gladiator since most of its sub skills are Attack Skill slots.

Ende's Hammer doesn't have a bad Attack, but it gets better when you alchemize it. It gains a second Main Skill which increases Quickness to all of your allies. It's main skill loads fast and hits pretty hard. If you already have Star Smasher or Water God Hammer, its best to alchemize Ende's hammer and then extract it's main skills to take advantage of both main skill's usefulness. As far as sub slot growth, it is above average. This hammer is great for Monster Master and Pirate.

Metal Slime Hammer is pretty good for fighting slimes, but can be easily replaced with the Metal Slime Bow, Boomerang, Whip, and/or Axe. If you don't have any of them, the hammer can be a good stand in for those Metal slime weapons I listed. It's main skill is pretty useful for other hammers, buffing yourself while dealing damage.

The Holy King's Hammer main skill is great to equip to any of the 4 hammers I listed, damaging your opponent and recieving healing at the same time. If you obtain it immediately extract it's main skill!

The Archangel Hammer's main skill is about average. Besides that there isn't much use for this weapon but extracting it's main skill

As for the Abacus, it's not really a useful weapon from this gacha. It's main skill doesn't do enough damage, it's sub skill slot growth isn't well, same goes for it's strength. I'd either keep it so you can have your character look like Torneko, or sell it at the merchant shop for 1000 points. Main skill isn't even really worth to extract.

Tips for the urban witch #1: herbs and flowers

Hi everyone! 🌿🌱🍃🌸

As a witch living in a studio apartment in a big city, sometimes I miss being surrounded by nature and fields to pick herbs and flowers for my spells. Luckily, there are still lots of very common but powerful plants that can be easily spotted in city parks and even just growing on the side of the streets. I went to a local park today and I found so many interesting things! The herbs I picked are very common in my area (northern Italy) but I’m sure they are also very easy to find all over Europe and in many other parts of the world.

🌸 Here’s what I found… 🌸

Ornithogalum umbellatum (“Star of Bethlehem”): it can be used to help deal with severe trauma and emotional stress, and it helps to recover from grief, accidents and scary experiences.

Lamium purpureum (“Purple Dead Nettle”, “Red Archangel”): this herb is connected to the Archangel Michael. It can help recover strength and happiness in times of challenge, and to overcome obstacles.

Veronica Agrestis (“Eyes of the Madonna”): since I was a kid, I’ve always been fascinated with these flowers. In Italian folklore, it is said that these flowers are the eyes of Mary, that stare upon us to protect us and guide us. These tiny, blue flowers are incredibly powerful in protection against harm and injustice. But be careful: never use this flower for hexing or for hurting someone else.

Glechoma hederacea (“Ground Ivy”): this flower is very powerful in protection against evil magick and psychic attacks. Using this herb will help you in identifying other witches and will help you reveal who is using negative magick against you.

Geranium molle (”Vulgar geranium”): these tiny purple flowers are traditionally used as a painkiller in folk medicine. In magick, they can be used to bring calm and peace and to help let go of painful feelings and experiences.

Prunus serrulata ( “Japanese cherry tree”): in these weeks, lots of pink flowers fall from these beautiful trees, covering the earth beneath them in soft, pink carpets. These trees are very common in city parks because of their scenographic beauty. You can pick the fallen flowers while they’re still fresh. Because of their fleeting beauty, they represent the transience of life and can be used in spells to encourage you, or someone else, to “seize the day” and find the courage to act, especially in love matters.

Potentilla reptans (“Cinquefoil”, “Five-finger grass”): I was very surprised to see how common this powerful herb is. It’s commonly used in hoodoo to bring good luck and wealth. The five points of the leaf represent love, money, health, power, and wisdom. It’s ideal for success in business and studies. The flowers may also be used in spells to attract money.

🍃 Preservation 🍃 To preserve the colour and properties of these tiny flowers and delicate herbs, I suggest putting them between paper towels and pressing them using heavy books, or using a flower press.

🌿 Safety 🌿 Even though most of these plants are edible, if you picked them in a city park or in any urban area I wouldn’t suggest eating them or using them in tea for safety and hygienic reasons.

Crystals tip #1

A cheap and fun way to incorporate stones and crystals in spells, especially if you’re new to the use of crystals, is to use crystal chip beads. They are sold in long strands and are usually very affordable (about 2€/2$ each). They can be used in many ways, and I love how versatile and easy they are to use. Don’t be fooled by their size: tiny crystals carry as much power as the big ones, but they are much cheaper and convenient.

🔮 You can use them in... 🔮

Jar spells: just put a couple of crystals in your jar along with the other ingredients to enhance the power of your spell.

Mojo bags: you can fill small fabric bags with all sorts of herbs, oils and other ingredients. Adding the right stone can help you obtain a more effective spell.

Tiny talismans: you can take one or more different crystal beads and use them to create charms to carry around with you. Cleanse the crystals with some sage or incense and focus your intention on what you want the crystals to do (bring protection, courage, attract love...)

Magic room sprays: put some crystals along with some water and essential oils in a spray bottle and use it to cleanse and protect your room or your house. If you want to light up romance with your loved one, spray water infused with rose quarts, rose and jasmine essential oils and some basil leaves around the room. For a very strong protection use holy water, obsidian and mint (I would suggest doing this if you think you’re under the effects of a psychic attack or malocchio).

💎 My favorite crystals 💎

Carnelian, which can be used to enhance courage and strength or to stimulate lust and sexual power. Use in combination with thyme, and with warrior deities such as St. George, St. Michael Archangel, Ogoun.

Rose Quartz, the stone of love and trust. It can be used to bring back romance in a relationship or to help build trust and friendship between two people. Use in combination with basil, and with love and beauty deities such as Erzulie Freda, Mater Dolorosa, Aphrodite.

Fluorite, the crystal of wisdom and intelligence. As a scientist and a student I love this stone, because it helps me focus my intellectual energies and it brings clarity to my mind. Use in combination with sage, and with deities associated with wisdom, such as Athena, Isis, Ganesha.

Clear quartz, the most versatile stone, can be used for all sorts of spells and rituals. I find that staring into a piece of clear quarts helps me focus my intention and brings clarity and spiritual power.

“Stone Shield of St. Michael” Protection Spell

Hi dearies! 🔮💎🌙 I want to share with you a protection spell I made today. I’ve been wanting to cast this spell for a while now, because I’ll be back at my parents’ house this easter and I need protection from all of the toxic dynamics and abusive behaviours coming from my family. For this spell, I decided to work with one of my most beloved deities, St. Michael Archangel. Michael is the angel who defeated satan and pushed him back into hell; he is a fierce warrior and will protect his devotees from all that tries to harm them. Yesterday I found that one of my black stones (I think they’re lignite, but I’m not 100% sure) had broken into two pieces, so I decided to include it it into my spell.

🔥 What I used: 🔥

A stone, better if black, broken in two (you could also use two flat stones, like palm stones or cabochon stones).

A red pen

White paper

Carnelian stones

Red thread

A red and a black candle

🔥 Casting the spell: 🔥

First, draw the sigil of St. Michael on a white sheet of paper with the red pen. To charge the sigil, surround it with carnelian stones.

Light the black candle (for protection) and the red one (red is the color associated with st. Michael).

Recite the following prayer: “Sancte Michaël Arcangele, defende nos in proelio, contra nequitias et insidias diaboli esto presidium; imperet illi Deus, supplices deprecamur; tuque, princeps militiae coelestis, satanam aliosque spiritus malignos, qui ad perditionem animarum pervagantur in mundo, divina virtute, in infernum detrude. Amen.” (If you’re not comfortable with latin, here’s the English version)

Write your name and date of birth with the red pen on a small piece of paper, then place it between the two pieces of the broken stone.

Fix the two pieces together using red thread and seal the thread with a drop of wax from the red candle.

End the spell by reciting Psalm 91 (here’s a link to the full text).

You can carry the stone with you as a protective talisman, or just leave it in a safe place in your home. You are now protected from psychic and physical attacks - anyone who tries to harm you will have to face the flaming sword of Michael.

If you like working with tarot, you could use the Strength tarot card for casting this spell.

If you don’t have a broken stone, as I mentioned above, you could use two flat stones. Just place your piece of paper between them and tie them together (cabochon stones like these would be perfect!)
