Arthdal Chronicles

The first season of this fantasy story hits close to home. It depicts the cruelty and greed of villages that have the resources, food and technology to take advantage of others. The story doesn't waist time, the first episode starts with the Arthdal leaders asking the Neanthals to become part of their power. The Arthdal are afraid of the peaceful but strong Neanthals and pretend to negotiate, knowing they are not interested. And what do they do? The Arthdal leaders trick their own people and kill the Neanthals in order to take their lands. Asa Hon learns this when she is in the middle of the attack, and in order to safe Neanthal children, she leaves with a child and Ragaz, with whom she later has children with.

Arthdal continues to annihilate weaker villages, taking them as slaves for hard labor. It is Tagon, an Itgu in hiding, that makes all this possible for Arthdal. And even though he is loved by the village as a hero, his father and other leaders are trying to find ways of killing him, including making Mihol's daughter, Teaelha, into a spy. Even though Tagon is cruel, there is an innocence to his longing to be loved and accepted by the people. His relationship with Teaelha is of a love stronger than their ties to their families and interests. And even though we don't like what he does, some times we do wish him success in his endeavors and fight against the Arthdal leaders for power.

But it is the story of the Wahan Tribe that reminds us that Tagon and all Arthdal are cruel and greedy people that have no respect for others. This is a peaceful tribe in a far away land. They are more like Neanthals in their believes but they are also prejudice against Itgus like Eunseom, whose mother leaves him there before she dies. Eunseom's only true friend is Tanya, the daughter of the priestess and scientist of the village.

It is almost impossible to reach the place but Tagon and the Arthdal leaders find the way to reach the land, it takes them 10 years to reach it and less time to destroy it and take its people as prisoners and slaves. Here we see the struggle of these people who get separated, sold into slavery and fight with each other and their enslavers in order to survive. But it also shows the Wahan people mesmerized by the innovations and way of life in this civilized village.

Tanya ties Eunseom to her by naming him her dream and he will do anything to save her, but destiny takes them into two different paths. These two characters are also very naive, their innocence and sense of justice is what makes others follow them. They both want to forge a world where everyone is equal, no prejudice against people that are different, everyone on equal standing.

Tanya's relationship with Saya is a sad one at best. She is using Saya while Saya genuinely likes her. And even though, at some point she sees him as a friend and cares about him, she still uses his affection towards her. But she is not the only one using Saya, so is Tagon who separated him from his mother when he was a child and Teaelha who became his caregiver for Tagon. Still, Saya is not stupid and he knows how to play the game.

This first half ends with the downfall of the rule of the Arthdal leaders: Daekan, White Mountain, and Hae tribes; giving way to Tagon's rule under the name of Aramun; which damages the relationship he had with Teaelha. Tanya is now the high priest while Eunseom becomes a god for the Ago tribe and starts unifying weak tribes to end fights among them and focus on fighting against their common oppressor.

The second season starts 8 years after the final events of the first one. And the fighting is no longer centered on colonialism, but on taking down a threatening force that is not letting them continue with their expansion of territories. I have heard of people wondering why the change of actors for critical characters. I wouldn't have minded seeing the same actors since they are excellent ones and we got used to them. But I didn't mind the changes, I think that these new actors, brought some darkness to the characters that had been innocent and naive in the first season. They have learned to play the game and they are using what they have learned for their gain.

Tagon and Teaelha are no longer the close couple they had been, but they still love each other and have a son that unites them. Theirs is a tragic and powerful love story, tainted by the struggle for power.

In this half, we see Tagon's fall, and the rise of the ideology that drove Tanya and Eunseom into battle. But we are left with an open ending that promises more blood and restlessness. Saya wants Arthdal for his own since he can't have Tanya's love; and Teaelha wants to take Arthdal back as she promised Tagon; while Eunseom struggles to make Arthdal the land he and Tanya had envisioned.

It is the bloody story of a civilization in this fantasy world that reflects the truth about the history of our world so full of tyranny, blood and inequality.

It is not a story with clear lines and we will switch sides as their goals become twisted, but so is the story of rulers in the past and the present. This is a fantasy story, but it also criticizes what makes a country a country - it's bloody history of greedy men.

So heres my theory for arthdal chronicles (in honors of s2 i will finally speak my mind for this show)

Kanmarou is the horse of aramun haesulla and the fastest ever (hes not really the fastest he just can make other horses slow down with some manipulating eye contact) and thats why mubaek thought eunseom is aramun but i think hes inaishige and that hes also the mirror with saya and that nunbyeol is the sword and tanya the bell.

Bc : nunbyeol is the first ever neanthal to learn the art of swordsmanship even tho neanthals cant do so and i think that eunseom and saya are the mirror bc if they both look at each other they would see a „reflection“ and eunseom can copy every movment he saw only once as if hes „mirroring“ them.

Idk about saya tho , to me he seems like he cant do so. But i do think that while eunseom is inaishigi, that saya is aramun bc asa sin brought aramun to arthdal and now tanya does the same to saya bc after she came arthdal found out abt saya. And the horse was like „eunseom is weak“ even thi he let him ride on him so maybe he confised saya w/him bc they are twins and kanmarou isnt really that much of a god , more like a server to one.

But maybe tagon could be aramun after all everything tanya said became true so maybe she forced aramun upon tagon and since inaishige is the only one that can beat aramun it has to be someone from arth if theres no one eunseom wants to beat uppp

Also it was said THREE CHILDREN were born on the SAME DAY in the SAME HOUR. So my question is how tf did asa hon(?) (eunseoms mother) give birth to twins in the same hour without problems? Like , no doctor , no medicines no nothing. Just in the forst without any warning like „yo baby about to pop out“ so maybe saya doesn’t belong to the prophecy at all . Cause he cant mirror the movements he saw right away like eunseom and we all know that tanya is the bell and im still putting my head on it that nunbyeol is the sword.

So what do you think of my theory? (Nunbyeol - sword ,eunseom-mirror , tanya-bell)

(Also im upset about the new actors of arthdal chronicles s2 bc saya was so hot and now some random 40+ yrs old dude plays him 😔 and tanyas new actress is so bad at portraying emotions like her face always looks like this 0-0)

I'm pretty sure we don't know Saya's real name for a reason.

The show has already made a point of names holding power and 'casting a spell'. I'm certain that the name Asa Hon had for Saya had a specific meaning and that will be significant in his arc this season.

Jin Kazama - Herói ou vilão?!

Atenção, Spoilers!! Recomenda-se jogar todos os títulos do cânone oficial de Tekken, caso contrário, você terá suas surpresas estragadas!!

Hoje em dia tem uma grande discussão entre os fãs de Tekken: Jin Kazama é um herói, ou por acaso ele seria um vilão?! Kazuya Mishima esteve ausente no Tekken 3, e no lugar dele, entrou Jin Kazama, filho de Jun Kazama com o bastardo Kazuya Mishima. Nos eventos pré-Tekken 3, Jun Kazama se ocultou, e levou o filho dela, Jin, para um lugar escondido entre as montanhas, denominado Yakushima, para treiná-lo no estilo Kazama de artes marciais. Anos mais tarde, Jun pressentiu um mal poderoso tomando forma e decidiu contar ao filho dela sobre as origens do jovem Kazama. Jun alertou a Jin que se algo terrível acontecesse com ela, Jin deveria procurar pelo avô dele, Heihachi Mishima. Quando Jin chegou ao décimo quinto(15º) aniversário, as premonições de Jun estavam corretas, pois ela foi atacada por Ogre. Horas depois do incidente, Jin percebeu que a mãe dele havia desaparecido, e como Ogre era o responsável por tudo isso, Jin jurou vingança contra Ogre pelo desaparecimento da mãe dele, e foi procurar Heihachi para ser treinado no estilo Mishima de artes marciais, a fim de se preparar para a luta contra Ogre.

Tekken 3(鉄拳３)

Em Tekken 3, Jin, aos 19 anos, terminou o treinamento com Heihachi, e decidiu seguir o próprio caminho. Na escola, Jin conheceu Ling Xiaoyu, uma garota de origem chinesa. Nas ruas, Jin teve um confronto com o sul-coreano Hwoarang, e assim cresceu uma forte rivalidade entre eles. Jin foi convocado pra o King of Iron Fist Tournament, evento no qual ele teve a oportunidade de conhecer lutadores dos mais variados estilos de artes marciais.

Jin chegou até a final do torneio indo até o local onde estava localizado Ancient Ogre. Mas antes que Jin pudesse ter o sonhado acerto de contas com o demônio, Heihachi se interpôs no caminho do rapaz, desafiando-o para uma luta, a fim de saber se Jin era forte ou não o suficiente para lutar com Ogre(Jin nunca teve suspeições sobre quais eram as reais intenções de Heihachi, mesmo assim decidiu treinar com ele). Jin derrotou Ogre, mas o monstro absorveu Heihachi para assumir a forma de True Ogre. No final, Jin derrotou o suposto assassino da mãe dele, no entanto, foi pego de surpresa em uma cilada meticulosamente articulada por Heihachi, na qual Jin foi metralhado por soldados da Tekken Force, com Heihachi dando o disparo final na cabeça dele. No entanto, os planos de Heihachi foram por água abaixo, quando ele viu o corpo de um dos soldados voando, então ele observou Jin, que sobreviveu a emboscada fatal, levantando-se como um espírito vingativo, agarrou Heihachi, arremessando-o contra a parede para fora do templo, e depois contra o chão, e por fim, Jin bateu asas e voou para longe.

Jin passou a lutar no estilo tradicional de Karatê, desaprendendo o estilo de luta dos Mishima, mas ainda assim ele era atormentado pelo espírito do lado sombrio que tentava dominá-lo incansavelmente. Em resumo, Jin queria destruir ambos Heihachi e Kazuya, e, óbvio, a ele mesmo, para assim extinguir a linhagem de sangue amaldiçoada dos Mishima para sempre. Um dia, Jin ficou sabendo do anúncio do King of Iron Fist Tournament 4 e ele tinha nas mãos a oportunidade para destruir a linhagem Mishima de um vez por todas. Jin participou do torneio formalmente e enfrentou muitos desafiantes, incluindo Hwoarang, no entanto, quando ele estava determinado a conhecer Kazuya, o pai dele, e aquele que o amaldiçoou com o Devil Gene, Heihachi se intrometeu e capturou o rapaz através da Tekken Force, levando-o para Hon-Maru. Kazuya obviamente não iria tolerar essa afronta e foi trocar satisfações com Heihachi, e depois da luta, os dois então vão para Hon-Maru, onde Jin se encontrava inconsciente.

Kazuya então usa empurrão telecinésico para derrubar Heihachi, uma vez que ele estava sendo controlado por Devil, e tenta se apossar da metade do poder sombrio que estava dentro do filho dele, Jin. Quando Devil tenta se apossar da metade do poder sombrio que residia em Jin, o herdeiro dos Kazama mostrou ser muito resiliente, fazendo tatuagens no corpo dele. Quando Jin acorda, ele quebra as correntes e é envolto por uma aura púrpura, expressando o desejo de destruir Kazuya. Jin lutou com Kazuya e o derrotou sem hesitar, no entanto, ele ainda teria de lidar com Heihachi, que também era inimigo dele. Quando Jin se preparava para eliminar Kazuya e Heihachi, ele foi detido pela influência psíquica de Jun Kazama, a mãe dele. Jin então poupa Heihachi, embora a contragosto, e deixa o local voando, e entre várias penas negras, tinha uma única pluma branca, que mostrava que ainda tinha um pouco de bondade dentro de Jin Kazama, ele não tinha passado pro lado sombrio ainda.

Tekken 5(鉄拳５)

Depois de lutar arduamente contra Kazuya, e subsequentemente, Heihachi, Jin bateu asas e voou para longe. No entanto, ele foi dominado por uma presença maligna e caiu inconsciente. Ao despertar, Jin ouviu uma voz desconhecida e viu uma floresta montanhosa ser devastada por um tornado gigante. No entanto, Jin não tinha dúvidas que ele era o responsável por toda aquela destruição. Retornando a Yakushima, Jin foi atormentado por pesadelos recorrentes e sentia a influência psíquica do Devil Gene tomar força. "Se isso continuar me corroendo, não sei quanto tempo posso aguentar". Sem perder tempo, Jin partiu mais uma vez ao encontro dos bastardos Kazuya(pai) e Heihachi(avô) para destruí-los e a si mesmo para encerrar de uma vez a linhagem amaldiçoada dos Mishima, com a finalidade de evitar a destruição do mundo.

Jin lutou mais uma vez contra o rival dele, Hwoarang. No meio da luta, os genes demônicos de Jin tentaram dominá-lo outra vez. Hwoarang aproveitou a distração do rival dele para atacá-lo e derrotá-lo. Sob a forma de Devil Jin, o herdeiro dos Kazama lutou novamente contra Hwoarang e o derrotou. De volta a forma humana, o herdeiro dos Kazama teve um encontro do destino com o bisavô dele, Jinpachi Mishima, que era o anfitrião do torneio. Jin derrotou Jinpachi, permitindo que o patriarca dos Mishima descansasse em paz. No fim do torneio, Jin entra triunfante na sala do trono da Mishima Zaibatsu, assumindo o comando do poderoso império mafioso construído ao longo dos anos por Heihachi, e depois herdado por Kazuya e transformado em algo duas vezes pior.

Tekken 5 também marcou a apresentação de Asuka Kazama, que diferente do primo dela, Jin, é uma humana normal sem conexão com o Devil Gene, e tem uma forte rivalidade com o filho de Jun e Kazuya, embora o principal rival do bastardo Jin ainda seja Hwoarang, o aprendiz sul-coreano impulsivo do Tae-kwon-do.

Tekken 6 (鉄拳６)

Jin derrotou Jinpachi, permitindo-o descansar em paz, e assumiu o comando da Mishima Zaibatsu. No entanto, é a partir de Tekken 6 que é mostrado o declínio do herdeiro dos Kazama para o lado sombrio. Jin utilizou a unidade militar denominada Tekken Force para realizar missões secretas, a fim de mergulhar o mundo no caos. Depois de inutilizar o poder militar da maioria dos países, Jin assumiu controle de colônias espaciais, campos de petróleo e outros recursos de produção energética. Ele declarou a independência da Mishima Zaibatsu e travou uma guerra contra o resto do mundo para vencer um mal ainda maior, capaz de destruir o mundo inteiro. A Mishima Zaibatsu varreu o mundo, assumindo nação após nação, mas à medida que a guerra continuava, novas forças opostas começaram lentamente a mostrar presença. Jin estava ciente de que o bastardo Kazuya era o comandante da maior força opositora à Mishima Zaibatsu, a “G” Corporation. Quando a “G” Corporation colocou um preço na cabeça dele, Jin anunciou o King of Iron Fist Tournament 6, como se estivesse esperando a “G” Corporation fazer investida contra ele. Jin derrota com sucesso Azazel e Kazuya e, uma vez fora do templo, é recebido por um dos helicópteros da Tekken Force com a guarda-costas dele, Nina Williams, a bordo, mas de repente ela é jogada da aeronave, pelas mãos de Heihachi, que comandava o helicóptero o tempo todo. Heihachi pula do helicóptero para iniciar uma batalha com Jin, dizendo que ele deveria devolver a Zaibatsu para ele. No fim da batalha, Jin derrota Heihachi, e escapa do templo em colapso em outro dos helicópteros da Tekken Force e volta para o QG da Mishima Zaibatsu. A jornada do herdeiro dos Kazama estava próxima ao fim?! Ou ele teria mais uma batalha pela frente?!

Tekken 7(鉄拳７)

Depois do suposto sacrifício de Jin Kazama para derrotar o monstro Azazel, o rapaz ficou em um estado de coma e o corpo dele foi levado sob custódia da ONU. Enquanto inconsciente, a linhagem demônica do lutador Jin Kazama entra em ação e o helicóptero no qual Jin estava sendo detido é destruído. Acordando em um estado enfraquecido, Jin caminha sem rumo por uma tempestade de areia no deserto. Quando os Pacificadores da ONU o rastreiam, os olhos de Jin brilham em vermelho e ele lança um raio diabólico no céu, criando uma onda de choque que arremessa os soldados para longe. Jin mais tarde chega em um mercado, enquanto segura o braço direito, meio desorientado e enfraquecido. Os soldados da ONU rastreiam Jin novamente, no entanto, Lars intervém com um carro blindado e rapidamente pega Jin, colocando-o dentro do carro e o afasta dos perseguidores. Mais tarde, Jin é levado para uma instalação médica dentro da Violet Systems para se recuperar do estado de coma. Nina Willams, que agora trabalhava para Heihachi, se infiltra na instalação para tentar recuperar Jin, mas os planos dela são frustrados por Lee Chaolan, que leva Jin para um lugar seguro, enquanto remotamente destrói toda a instalação. Depois de despertar do coma, após Kazuya eliminou Heihachi, Jin se aproxima de Lars, Lee, e Alisa, e concorda com eles em eliminar Kazuya, que está continuando a guerra depois de ter se livrado de Heihachi. Jin comenta com eles que é a única pessoa com poder suficiente para deter o pai dele, em razão de ser herdeiro do Devil Gene, e ele está preparado para derrotar Kazuya e a si mesmo, a fim de extinguir a linhagem amaldiçoada dos Mishima de uma vez por todas...
