The origin and meaning of the names of the protagonists of the Barbie movies.

(The Nutcracker - 2001) Clara: Originated from Latin, Clara means "bright", "clear", "luminous" and "illustrious".

(Rapunzel - 2002) Rapunzel: Its origin is uncertain, but some linguists believe that the name comes from the word “rampion”, which is a very nutritious edible vegetable/flower.

(Swan Lake - 2003) Odette: Of French and Germanic origin, Odette means "rich", "full of goods", "virtuous".

(The Princess and the Pauper - 2004) Anneliese: French origin, Anneliese is a combination of Anna and Liese, with Anna being a form of the Hebrew Channah, meaning "full of grace", and Liese being a German diminutive of Elisabeth "My God is an oath". My favorite part about the Barbie movie coming out is how it is bringing a lot of attention to animated movies, and I'm so here for it. Those movies had their own personal charm to them, despite the quality and were such a staple of many people's childhood.

Why doesn't Malucia have powers?

I thought about this after I finished publishing another post talking about how weird it was to have only women in Zinia. >This post<

In the movie we have fairies, mermaids, unicorns and several other mythical creatures, they mention that only princesses have magic and Malucia is the only princess without magic. Apart from Alexa, Malucia and her parents are the only humans there, the queen of zinia was once a princess, she has magic and now that she is queen, she is much more technically powerful, but only princesses have magical power, so the king has no powers, remembering that in my other post I talk about how strange it is for the king to be the only man in the kingdom, so much so that Romy doesn't even know what is a boy, so if there are no men in Zinia, what was this guy doing there? It's simple! Even as a princess, Malucia's mother was mischievous and played with magic a lot, and ended up arriving in the normal world. Remembering that Secret Portal takes place in the same universe as Princess and the popstar, Princess charm School, where there is magic, but the magic comes from objects not from humans.

Continuing, the queen must have met her future husband in the normal world, they fell in love and she took him to Zinia, there they got married and...pause for another explanation line, if there are no men there, or at least male humanoids, as we can see male animals, then how do fairies and mermaids reproduce? Probably fairies are born from flowers and mermaids from shells, the queen of Zinia must also have been born in some extrambolic way like that, after all she may be human, but she has powers that only she had. But why doesn't Malucia have powers if she's a princess? As in Zinia the people are born asexually, the queen should not even know what sex was, and the king, coming from the normal world, arrived at his wife and pah

Details remember that I said that in the normal world there is magic but it comes from objects not from humans themselves, Malucia does exactly that, she uses a magic wand to steal the hidden power of mythical beings, thus having her own magical object just like humans in the magical world.
