Everytime Asagiri drops more skk backstory you realise they were not even remotely toxic, Chuuya made Dazai want to give living a chance at 15, Dazai whole convoluted plan during SB while shitty for Chuuya was ultimately to find the data on Chuuya, Dazai put the world saving plan on hold and was ready to discard it for him, he not only put an end to the dragon jead conflict he even started caring about another man's death because it upset Chuuya, and in some universe they would have ditched the mafia together. Chuuya makes Dazai do good things because Dazai cares for him and his opinions. Dude. DUDE!!

I have something ultra cool and special to share today!
These are the Nov. 2023 and Feb. 2024 issues of Nintendo Dream that, upon me seeing them, resulted in me dropping everything I had to buy them instantly 😅
Both of these focus on the SV DLC, with the second issue pictured above containing some exclusive goodies (a full Jan 2024-Jan 2025 calendar!! and a double sided poster). I'll do a little in depth dive about these below the jump and include some pictures. (also forgive me for the quality of the pictures, I'm just a lil fella with an almost four year old phone...)
The November 2023 issue provides some info about the Teal Mask and things that were to come from the Indigo Disk. Having completed both now, it is really nice to relish in these pictures, trying to imagine what it would have been like to still be waiting in anticipation for the second part!
The February 2024 issue goes a little more in depth about what there is to do in the Indigo Disk, with a (curious, to me) focus on both of the Elite Fours from S/V. I really like this issue a lot more since there are more pages dedicated to the game than the previous one (and not my Paldea Elite Four bias, I swear).
My most favorite things were the included goodies found in the February issue. There was a (giant!) double sided poster and a full year calendar!
The poster on one side contains the promotional art for the Indigo Disk. The second side displays the Paldea Elite Four (my favorite side. As someone who's most favorite characters happen to be the Academy Staff and the Paldea Elite Four, I feel like I happened to stumble upon a holy grail (。T ω T。) if only they'd give the academy staff more merch and actual official art though..)
The calendar is small but is packed with cute little tidbits and info about the game. They managed to assign every single day a Pokemon in the S/V dex (my birthday was assigned grafaiai... in case you were wondering).
Even though I wish the magazines kinda focused more on SV (especially the Nov. issue), I'm super elated to have these in my collection :> they're really precious and so bold. The goodies are especially something I will always hold onto.
I'll end the post with a lil' Kieran! have a good one!

I came across this while browsing today and thought it was an important PSA to throw out, considering some of the behavior I've seen in the Horizon fandom over the past few months. One thing I've seen that disturbed me were comments from folks that seem to think that saying you don't like a certain pairing constitutes ship-bashing.
But the thing is - people are allowed to not be into your ship. They're allowed to express that on their own personal pages (although it is good etiquette not to actually tag the ship you're expressing opinions on). Sure, it's not the most fun thing to come across if they're talking about your ship, but blocking or scrolling past is easy.
It doesn't become bashing until you attack the shippers themselves, directing your criticisms towards the human beings that like the pairing rather than the pairing itself. Calling someone gross/dumb/delusional because they happen to enjoy a particular dynamic between two characters is bashing. Griping that you don't understand how anyone could possibly see a romantic connection between two characters is bashing. It's the kind of behavior that tears fandoms apart, and there's no need for it.
It's even worse when you go onto a post or creation made for that ship and say it to the shipper's face. It's uncalled for, rude, and just plain mean. What is the point in making someone feel shitty just for liking something? When you could just...not?
Anyways, I've just had this on my heart lately and coming across this list made me realize that it's a piece of fandom etiquette we could all use a refresher on. People expressing reasonable feelings and opinions on a ship is not an attack, and it's not ship-bashing either. But if you're someone that has put people down just for enjoying something you don't understand, it might be time for some soul-searching.

the ori’vod echo and vod’ika crosshair thoughts are hitting again mainly bc i am thinking about echo and rex receiving the information from the batch and looking into it, and somehow echo discovers that crosshair is being held on tantiss, and he can’t reach the batch because their comms don’t reach that long range, so he and rex decide to say fuck it and go after crosshair themselves
and they manage to save crosshair, and rex just sees the snarky sniper clinging to echo like a cadet, and well now he’s got a brand new vod’ika to smother, and crosshair honestly doesn’t hate it
and idk something about the angst of that trio meeting back up with the batch and seeing how at peace they’ve been while crosshair can’t stand the rumbling of thunder and rocks shifting because it reminds him too much of the avalanche.

Izuku snaps
Basically I had an idea where Izuku beats the shit out of Mineta for being a perv and gets taken to Aizawa’s office. He gets detention for harming a fellow student and snaps. I couldn’t really get the energy to write the surrounding plot, so here’s the conversation that he and Aizawa have.
“-detention.” Izuku can almost hear the last thread of his sanity strain and then snap.
“What.”
“You can’t expect to beat up another student with no consequences—” But Izuku just stands and makes his way to the door, barely hearing what his teacher is saying. “— Midoriya, I did not say we were done yet.”
Izuku pauses, hand on the door knob. “Kacchan was never punished,” he murmurs.
“Excuse me?”
“He’s attacked me outside of training exercises so many times. He constantly antagonizes me, hurts me. And you’ve never punished him. The most you’ve ever done is stop him from hitting me and given him a warning.” He rounds on Aizawa, getting in his space. “So why am I here, huh? What is it about me that’s so terrible that it makes everyone fucking hate me?”
“Midoriya-”
“No! Because it’s always my fault, right? Just talk to him Deku, just keep your head down Deku, stop being so sensitive Deku, maybe if you’re quiet and stay still he won’t hurt you today, Deku! And really, Deku, you were asking for it with that attitude, stop antagonizing him! And people- people like you, who pretend to be all worried but still let it happen, still encourage it. That’s why I’m always paired up with him for every exercise, yeah? So we can work out our issues by, what, lobbing punches at each other? No no no, you just can’t legally get away with hitting me. Just- fucking- get it over with already! It’s not like I could tell anyone! Hurt me so I can stop hoping that it still could be different here! Do it! Punch me, rough me up, I can’t fight back, right? Get rid of my quirk, make me useless again because then at least I’ll have an excuse to be such a fuck up!”
