Saw some people complaining about people calling Socqueline Bridgette or even the existence of Bridgette (I’m honestly just confused lol), so I made this reference with a couple extras to help people out.

I’ll be frank, I don’t really care for what you call them because I’m a PV fan, but if people complain, fight, or start discourse over really simple things, I can’t really sit down. I don’t know how bad it got, but it’s appearing on my feed, so I’m putting this here to hopefully clear the air.

Love Grid: Chapter 1

Monarch is defeated, Adrien and Marinette know each other’s identities, all seems well… but alas, a superhero’s work is never done! Our two heroes face every tougher threats, forcing them to enlist the help of their many allies. However, Adrien and Marinette notice lots of pairs within their squad of heroes going through the same stuff they once did! It’s love squares everywhere! How will our favorite couple deal with this?

Welcome to the first chapter of my fic! Which I have not uploaded to AO3 yet on account. However, it is on Fanfiction!

Fair warning that some inspiration is taken from parts of the Bible.

Each episode is like a mini episode, complete with an akumatized villain to defeat and a fight scene to take them down, and there's a focus on romance! You can think of it as a casual season 6.

Ships that I'll focus on:

Adrien x Marinette: Together from chapter 1 and know each other's identities.

Juleka x Rose: Together from chapter 1, but don't know each other's identity.

Mylene x Ivan: Together from chapter 1, but don't know each other's identity.

Nathaniel x Marc: Marc crushing on Nathaniel with wingwoman Marinette.

Zoe x Luka: No crush at the start of the story, but they'll grow closer over time.

As much as I hate to admit it, but I kinda understand why they choose this ending for season 5.

Massive end of the season spoiler ahead!

Quick recap so everyone is up to date: In the finale Gabriel gets to make his wish and the world apparently resets. He is dead/died in the finale battle and Emilie and Nathalie are both alive and are apparently Adriens guardians. No reveal and Adrien and Marinette have their miraculous back in the end.

Now think of a different way to end this season:

Let's say Gabriel actually dies at the end of Re-Creation before the wish, which means there is no wish and no reset. Emilie is still dead and Nathalie is still sick or dead. Adrien and Marinette still didn't do a reveal, but the big difference is: Adrien would most likely find out that is dad was Monarch.

But why is this a problem for the show?

This ending would have left Adrien as an orphan and with the knowledge that his dead father (who died because of an injury he inflicted on him!) was actually a villain who kept his dead mother in his basement. This is also most likely the reason why Adrien is not in the final battle.

If the show would have ended with season 5 (like it was originally planed) they could have maybe get away with this scenario. They could show a short scene of Adrien grieving or at a funeral and then do the end shot. The show would be done, a mostly hopeful ending and we don't know how Adrien really deals with all of this, since the show is done (Of course until a new show set in the same universe with either Adrien and Marinette as mentors or completely new characters debuts only like a year after Miraculous ends on Disney(please note this is a joke, because they will milk Miraculous even when it's already dead))

If this kids show (for 6-12 year olds) now continues with season 6 without acknowledging Adriens struggles and complicated feelings or even mentioning the traumatic events, everyone who watches and is older than 12 will call them out for that.

But if they show acurate behaviour for a situation like this, it will no longer be a kids show.

But now with at least two more seasons they would have to address Adriens struggles in this scenario and can't just ignore them. So they had come up with an ending without Adrien in it on order to continue this show as kids show and not turn it into a dark sad teenage drama.

You are probably asking yourself now:

Hey, but what about Marinette keeping the secret of Monarchs identity to herself?! Couldn't Adrien find out from her what his dad was up to?

For this I have to say: Do we actually know Marinette still knows Monarchs identity after the wish? Do we know that other people in the world know what the wish was and who did it even when they witnessed the wish being made but also being affected by the wish? Apparently the wish made everyone think Monarch was somebody else than Gabriel and Gabriel actually helped Ladybug to a significant amout that he is now considered a hero himself. Marinette talks about the wish but she doesn't seem to know what the wish did. In the scene in her bedroom she only speaks about Monarch and not about Gabriel and earlier at the mansion she said how Gabriel helped defeat Monarch. She also doesn't talk about the fact that her boyfriends mom was in freaky coffin in the basement, which you know it's kinda important. Especially because she just had a pool party with her and her wife/girlfriend/partner she saw dying just moments before her final fight against Gabriel aka Monarch. She also probably wouldn't be in favour of a Gabriel statue right next to her house if she knew his identity. But most importantly she would also tell Chat Noir, which brings us back to the point where we can not be. Because Adrien can't know who Monarch really his.

But what about Plagg and Tikki?!

We know the kwamis know when the wish is about to destroy and rebuild the universe. But in Ephermal we only saw the other kwamis from the box and not Tikki and Plagg. For the wish they have to become one new deity (Gimmi) and it seems like Gimmi is completly different person/deity/kwami(?) and not just Plagg and Tikki squished in one body. For example they ask which year it is, which is something Plagg and Tikki would have already known. So maybe they also don't remember the previous universe pre-wish because their "main" consciousness is not there during the wish and their "secret second" consciousness takes over, which only shows up during the wish making process. Neither of them can access it in their lone kwami state since the consciousness is made of both of them. Their (lone kwami) memory about Gabriel and Monarch is altered like everyone elses.

So, with the wish, we now have a clean slate. Nobody (at least I think so) knows who Monarch really was and thinks Gabriel helped defeat Monarch and with this set up the show will probably never come to the point where Adrien has to face the fact that he nearly killed his father.

Is it lazy writing? Well, a little bit. They can now ignore everything that happend in the first universe and continue the story in the second one without the heavy load.

BUT

It's also writing for a KIDS show. Most of us kinda forget it, but Miraculous is still a kids show. The bible states this in the first few pages. You can't expect a kids show suddendly having long complicated dark storylines like in adult dramas. Yes, they could have aged up the show with their audience, but they did not (Purely speculative: Disney/Gloob/TF1 probably pay pretty good money and losing this money and looking for a new channel to broadcast would be hard). From a kids persepective this is a clean ending, where everything turns out great and everyone is happy. The villain is out of the picture, the heros are together and everything bad is in the past.

In the end I just wanted to say I really hate this ending BUT I also understand how they have to come to this point to continue with the show as a kids show.

One of the main reasons I'm so mad about this ending is that it makes the whole previous seasons worthless. Because in the end Gabriel won and he made his wish and it's shown as a good thing, where everything just perfectly falls into place because of the wish.

But I've always been skeptical about Adrien being a Senti because a lot of things don't seem to add up. Primarily because the ring Gabriel uses to order Adrien around only works when he twists it, no other amok needs to be used in specific way, just holding it works.

According to the bible my old theory that Gabriel and Tomoe wanted to create Senti Children to get them married and unite their companies is all but confirmed.

So here's my theory.

When Gabriel and Tomoe made this deal, Emilie made a plan to go behind Gabriel's back. She used the peacock miraculous to create a child and used Amilies newborn son as a "blue print" which is why Adrien and Felix are identical. But Amilie took the Senti child and the Amok to keep them away from Gabriel.

So Adrien is the human, Felix is the Sentimonster which is why he was so obsessed with the peacock Miraculous.

I think Amilie told him all this at some point, explaining both his hatred of Gabriel and why Amilie knows what Felix is doing and supports him.

His hatred for Adrien? Simple, Felix hates the fact Adrien does everything Gabriel tells him when Adrien has the thing Felix can never truly have... free will.

Of course he's also a selfish bastard willing to use anyone and anything to get what he wants, but this also has a big impact on it.

Miraculous Ladybug theory using the leaks, regarding Gabriel and Chat Noir.

We know that the show bible says that Adrien never finds out that Gabriel is Monarch, but what if that's to hide that Adrien killed him?

We know Chat Noir will use Cataclysm on a person, and in the leaks Gabriel has dark areas on his skin. Chat Noir Cataclysms Monarch, and Gabriel is slowly dying because of it.
