Week 5/53: January 27th - February 2nd 2020 | 重庆小面

Spent the first two days of the week stuck at home watching Youtube and Lovely Complex (LMAO) (It’s pretty addicting ngl) (I read the manga when I was in grade 5/6 LOL). I’m so tired of having 3 days off!!!!! Can the new bubble tea store open already dfhksa I need my second job back /cries/ I AM SO BORED AND I WANT EXTRA MONEY! Legit never had so much free time since graduating wtf????? T^T I’m so not used to this!! Anyway, the rest of the week was me surviving on 6 hours of sleep everyday because I keep having to start at 9:30am rip >_> On Friday, I was so tired that I went home and napped until almost 10pm........ wtf LMFAO JHJSKFJKSF. I couldn’t even sleep until 3am on Friday night which caused me to be so tired on Saturday wtf...... sigh. Work was a mess this week, bleh. Just waiting for payday. LOL. 

Ended off the week by going on Sundate with Linda!! She surprised me with snacks again :’) long time no snack!!!!! SO YUM. Bb always reading my tweets about what food I want and she always gets it for me ;_; so sweet <3 We went to eat at Chongqing Noodle House and it was decent LOL. I got their signature noodle and it was decent. It’s like Marutama Ramen but spicy, as in, too much noodle, not enough toppings LMFAO. I think Linda’s beef noodle tasted better though! Hehehe.

Week 3/53: January 13th - January 19th 2020 | Pepper Lunch & Tiger Sugar

I was supposed to work for all seven days this week but my bbt boss set me free on Sunday HAHAHA. Work was so rough all week mostly because I had to bring indoor shoes everyday because of the snow outside T^T ,,,,, IT WAS SO COLD THIS WEEK I DIED OK....... FUCK WINTER. I can’t believe I wore uggs for a whole week in yvr LOL.

For Sundate, Linda and I went to Pepper Lunch hehehe I was just gonna get my usual beef one because it’s yum and cheap(est) but at the last minute I saw a promotion for their new chicken karaage rice so I got that instead. It was okay LOL the chicken is pretty yum but I think I still prefer the original beef one :P ~ After dinner, we went to try the brown sugar boba milk from Tiger Sugar YAY FINALLY!! It was so yum (also my first bubble tea of the year hahhha).

Week 49/52: December 3rd - December 9th 2019 | 新疆炒米粉！

I’ve been going home really late even though I get off work at 6 or 7pm because I don’t wanna go home to my dad’s nonsense lmfaoooooo. On Thursday, I deadass went to the food court right after work and planned on just sitting there for 2 hours by myself lmao :< but then Linda came and surprised me and I think I cried a little because that was really cute T^T <3 . We went on a instant noodle date after work on Friday LMAO we literally found a cup fire noodle in Safeway (???) LOL and then we also got the Shin Black cup noodle :P LOL. I was off early on Saturday so I went to meet up with Vicky! We tried the Xinjiang fried rice noodles in Parker and it was SOOOO yum..... I can’t wait to eat it again!! That bowl is $14 though... so expensive especially for food court food LMAO. But worth it!! I ordered the maximum level of spice and I might have killed Vicky...... I’M SORRY LULS :’( jsdhjadfkaksg. We spent the next hour trying to get an outfit photo for my suit but it just ended up with me taking photos for random couples in front of the Aberdeen Christmas display LOL. Ended off the day by eating matcha ice cream cones at Matcha Cafe Maiko. Their hojicha powder pairs really well with the vanilla/matcha swirl cone hehehe. 

On Sunday, I went to eat ramen at Marutama Ramen with Linda but I didn’t like their ramen?????? They gave too much noodle and not enough toppings (which sucks because their toppings are yum but their noodles not so much LOL). Also the broth was s00oooo000o creamy I think I died after like 5 bites RIP. I think I’ve eaten enough ramen for the rest of my 20s LOL. After eating, we headed over to Coquitlam for their Christmas light show and it was just 3832839 lights around a lake HAHAHA. It’s nice because it was free >:D We went to see lights but we ended up just looking at all the doggos that were there with their owners :’) ~ We also went to Tokki and ate their cheese dog. I wanted us to eat like 4 cheese dogs but we were both too full from the ramen, so we just ate one HAHAHA. 

Ended off this week with a closing shift (3:30 to 9:30????) at bbt??? Wtf LOL ==

Week 4/53: January 20th - January 26th 2020 | Happy Lunar New Year 

No more bubble tea shifts starting this week so it looks like I finally kind of have a life outside of being a wage slave lmaoooo. I went to eat HK desserts with Vicky on Tuesday night at The First Dessert. We got agar jelly w/ red bean in coconut milk and grass jelly w/ taro balls+sago in regular milk. It was so yum and affordable!! Went back to work at clinic for 4 days (insert zzzz noises lmao) and then went all the way to Burnaby to eat skewer hot pot at 马路边边 with Shelly hehehe ^_^ ! We didn’t even get extra dipping sauce but it was still yum because the hot pot soup base was so yum and flavourful (and actually spicy even though it’s just one pepper LULS)! The two of us ate 50 skewers LMFAO. YUM!! CNY well spent. 

On Sunday, I went to Tiffany and bought the bracelet that I was looking at for over a year LOL X’D actually welp their prices actually went up by $10 like a week or two ago and I didn’t realize hdfjkas RIP I shouldn’t have hesitated for so long aiyaaaa. But I’m glad I finally have it now. Linda and I went to try tempura don at Kaneko Hannosuke LOL and it was very yum~ we went to line up before they even opened for dinner so we were able to be seated right as they opened. The bowls were yum without the tempura being too rich or oily, which is nice. Also the sauce was A+. Yay! After dinner, we went to Yummy Yogurt and tried their purple rice yogurt. Ended off the day with a matcha cake from Nana’s Green Tea to celebrate 4 months hehehe thanks bb for the monthly cakes (also thank you bb for red pocket :P) <3 Such an eventful and fun date! :’) 💕💕

Week 50/52: December 10th - December 16th 2019 | Chili Cheese Fries *^*

Charmy is back in YVR after exams!! We went to Beetbox to eat vegan burgers and chili cheese fries!! The fries were really good (!!!) but the burgers were just okay I guess LOL. After dinner, we went to Milksha~~ I tried their barley tea latte (with their honey pearls) and it was SO good omfg. I also did not have insomnia after drinking that at like 8pm so that’s a win HAHAHA. ALSO I LOVE THEIR SERVICE!!! Me, also a bbt barista from another chain, could never.

Week 47/52: November 19th - November 25th 2019 | Sushi Date 🍣

Finished the 13 day work stretch and finally got a day off on Sunday!!!! I spent it by meeting up with my financial advisor because I’m an adult (apparently) who needs to make smart decisions LOL (which I cannot do without the help of my advisor so thank you for sharing your wisdom with me T__T). After the appointment, I went on a date with Linda hehehhee 💕💕 We went to Tom Sushi to eat lunch. Their portions were so big LMAO literally one tempura order is like 8 pieces of tempura but each piece is the size of my hand fshkdfaksdjg I ate their caterpillar specialty roll which had avocado and prawn tempura and cucumbers inside and it was pretty yum >:P After lunch, we went all the way to Coquitlam for Cafe Bono because I wanted to try their green grape soda drink and it was SOOoooOoo yum!!!!!! I LOVE GREEN GRAPES HAHHAHA 10/10 would recommend. We also stopped by the Coquitlam HMart which is three times the size of the Aberdeen one and they have a way bigger food selection LMAO. Anyway date someone who you can have fun at the grocery store with jhdfkjas we didn’t even buy anything because we didn’t want to carry it back home 😂,,,, even though Linda really wanted the 13 dollar 5kg bucket of kimchi ToT

Week 8/52: February 19th - February 25th 2019 | The Wandering Earth 🌎

A pretty uneventful week, tbh. Work is getting better now because all the newbies from January are becoming less new and thus less stress for me LOL. I had Tuesday and Friday off from work. Spent Tuesday evening going to the movie theatre to watch 流浪地球 (The Wandering Earth) with my parents. Such a good movie!!!!!! If I watched it alone I would have bawled my eyes out... but because my parents were right beside me, I HELD IN ALL OF MY TEARS LMAO. I heard people in the movie theatre cry during the saddest part and a part of me broke tbh... T~T

I spent Friday job hunting........ ;^; Also, over the weekend, I FINALLY edited my convocation vlog 8 months post-grad LOL so check it out if you wanna~~~~ uwu

Week 6/52: February 5th - February 11th 2019 | Movie & Five Guys 

I got Wednesday and Friday off but spent the rest of the week going to work. Another week, another ~few~ dollars LOL $$$. On Wednesday, I went to the movie theatre to watch Pegasus (飞驰人生) with my mom (she got free tickets to the pre-screening LOL). I even won some CNY stuff during a draw at the end! How lucky of me hehehe :P ! On Friday, I looked for jobs and submitted three job applications~~~ but no one wants me still~ but at least I’m trying~~ XD ~~ at least I have a job right now!!! At least I’m not unemployed! At least I’m not a NEET! Ahhhh,,,,

On Saturday, I went Five Guys with Mia, Betty, and Wing after work. I ate a super delicious regular size cheeseburger with mayo, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, grilled onions, ketchup, mustard, jalapenos, and hot sauce LMAO (double patty kept me so full !! ) uwu I ADDED A LOT OF TOPPINGS BECAUSE THAT SHIT IS FREE! I LOVE 5 GUYS! Such yummy burgers. Thank you Mia for driving me everywhere today and for the yakult hehehhe <3 <3

Day 312/365: November 8th 2018 | La Fontaine Park & Bagels

Gaby had an interview in the morning so I just stayed in bed while she performed responsible grown-up duties LOL. When she came back, I had just finished showering and was in the process of putting on my makeup XD ... anyway, I finished getting ready, ate breakfast, and we headed over to La Fontaine Park to look at the beautiful yellow leaves :') so pretty~ there were so many doggos playing in the park and I wanted to pet all of them ;_; !!!!! DOGGOS!!!!! After taking tonnes of photos, we headed over to St.Viateur Bagel Café! I got their All Dressed bagel with cream cheese and Gaby got their sesame bagel. Damn so GOOOOOD *^* HOW CAN BAGELS BE SO DELICIOUS LOL!!????

We were originally going to eat fried chicken after bagels but I became too full so we just went home HAHAHA RIP..... so for dinner we ate Gaby's cooking hehe. :3 Thank you love!

Day 317/365: November 13th 2018 | Mont Royal & Schwartz's

TODAY WAS SO COLD!!!!! It snowed!!!!! First stop of the day was Mont Royal and it was basically empty at the lookout LOL. NO ONE WAS THERE. It was hard to even find someone to help us take a photo lol. We asked a person who was literally carrying like 4-5 cameras on their neck/arms to take it and they were too extra with it???? They stood on the telescope step to take the pictures but the angle was way too high???? IT’S SO STRANGE AND WEIRD LOL. And they literally took like 20 photos in the exact same angle and that’s it???? SERIOUSLY THE STRANGEST LOL!!!! [lots/big] cameras =/= good photographer..... ._. But it’s okay because at least we got a photo together ^^ ! We left Mont Royal as quick as we could because it was freezing up there. Went to Schwartz’s right after and THERE WAS NO LINE UP 👏👏👏!!!! Gaby and I both tried their super famous smoked meat sandwich. I also got their pickle and it was the BEST COMBO EVER. The sandwich was super delicious and I’m glad there was extra mustard on the table for me to add and inhale 💛! This was my favourite meal from this trip. >:D 

Went home and watched Clueless (1995) LOL!

Day 316/365: November 12th 2018 | Brunch & Macarons 

Started off our day by going to L’Avenue for brunch! The place is so popular that it was packed on a frigging MONDAY!!!!???? LOL...... crazy....... I ordered their chorizo eggs benedict (my first ~official~ time eating eggs benedict) and it was SO delicious. Unfortunately, their portions were WAY TOO BIG T____T I literally only finished half of my plate dfjkadsgjhdjs (but I ate the rest for dinner so it’s okay!!!!! TEAM NO WASTE). After brunch, we went to Point G for macarons hehehehe and we bought 12 again, just like in February. After that, we went home and watched Crazy Rich Asians (I can’t believe Gaby found it online for free when it’s still playing in theatres LOL). I was so underwhelmed by the movie tbh....... :_( I really was expecting more!!!! It was still a nice movie though.
