Seriously though, he was a DLC character from Borderlands The Pre Sequel or Bordermemes in Claptrap’s own words who was basically Handsome Jack’s doppelganger.

Which means that yes, Jack didn’t actually step on Elpis; it was his body double. We already knew the whole thing in Opportunity about how he did a ton of stuff was bullshit, but that just goes on to prove it (ie the things that weren’t technically a lie were a lie because it was his body double).

You just know his name in-game by a few phrases Tim says on TPS. Otherwise, he’s a nameless Jack doppelganger.
