Fun IronMouse fact for Qsmp enjoyers who don’t know her lore!

-The bells Mouse wears serve to limit her powers to prevent her from overexerting herself and losing herself to her demonic powers. They were created for her by her friend/follower and fellow demon Beezelbub, the current king of hell since she left.

-Mouse is a fallen angel who was cast out of heaven because she wanted to see the Creator, who was forbidden from being beholden by anyone who wasn’t a high angel. She rallied a bunch of angels by questioning if the Creator even existed or if it was a lie fabricated by the archangel Gabriel and other high angels. She broke through the doors to see it, but she and all who witnessed it remember nothing from what they saw except a horrible, terrible feeling. The angels who saw the creator were cast from heaven straight to hell except for Mouse, who received special punishment for starting the whole incident.

-IronMouse isn’t her actual name! Her heavenly name was Satanael, but she was made to forget it in her eternal punishment and never remembered her original name, other than it started with “S”. She took on the name “Satan” whilst ruling hell and later chose the name IronMouse when she came to earth as it was her favourite anime character’s name.

-Mouse was punished for the whole “starting a revolution in heaven” thing by being sealed inside a magical box for thousands of years, punishment for her curiosity and thirst for something “fun”. The crux of her punishment was being deprived of all her senses that made her feel alive, left in an unending, tortuous boredom.

-Beezelbub, or “Bubi” as Mouse calls him, freed Mouse whilst trying to regain his full power. He tried to kill her, thinking she held his power, but she absorbed his power instead. He reluctantly followed her for some time before actually starting to care for her, and she returned his powers to him before leaving hell and making him king.

-A big part of Mouse’s character is freedom and fun. Her reason for rebelling against heaven was to end her boredom and gain freedom against the oppressive rules of heaven. Her reason for leaving Hell was that she simply wasn’t enjoying herself. She’d seen everything there was to be seen but wasn’t satisfied and still felt trapped, saying that “hell is just another box”

Does anyone else want Bubi/Connor(CDawgVA for those who don't know) to be on the QSMP? Think of the lore he and Mousey could do, think of him interact with other Japanese speakers(bc he quite literally lives in Japan and speaks Japanese quite fluently). Just think about it. I think I'd be so much fun if they at some time add him as I think he'd add quite a bit due to both his voice acting abilities and also depending on what type of character he plays(he could straight up bring out Bubi because he's already kinda done it once before or even play more like himself) and I think I'd be fun to see how he interacts with everyone due to the distinctions between British/Welsh culture and Japanese culture and to see them mix if even just a little. Also, he literally sometimes(I'm not sure if it's just when drunk or also when sober as I haven't come across it yet) cusses or yells in Japanese and I'd love to see the reaction of the other creators. I think he'd have some cool or funny dynamics and I'd really love to see it. Also, I totally hope that we get not only more Korean members but also Japanese members(not 100% if Chinese creators living in China would work out as I live in the US and DAMN is it hard to find non-propagandized information. Still, if possible I would also love to have them and if not even Chinese creators who live in other countries but primarily speak in Chinese on stream would also be nice :D) Either way, GIVE ME MORE CREATORS SO I CAN SQUISH THEM AND GIVE THEM SO MUCH LOVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, a very warm welcome to both of the Korean creators :D! I hadn't made a post about either of them yet so I just thought I put that here after talking about wanting new creators and we have just gotten new creators. This was all over the place but it's whatever, that's generally how my brain works.

I have brainworms about the new Ironmouse/Bubi song. Theres a post out there like “girls read the Lemony Snicket love letter and reshape their idea of love” and like,,,,, im girls. Theres something profoundly romantic about the “You Sinful Thing” line and I am Not Okay. Like thats a Gomez Addams line, the way its said, the inflection and the fact that the line just before it was addressing Mouse’s last line directly makes it feel like this true and heartfelt statement. Like, to demons who chose to conquer and rule hell of course “Sinful” would be a something to admire and adore.

Which I guess is something that has always fascinated me about things like The Addams Family and certain I DONT KNOW HOW BUT THEY FOUND ME songs, because the perspective, but Addams Family is easier to demonstrate. They are from the perspective of the witches and monsters and criminals. Gomez is actually a murderer, and that’s still a bad thing. Torture is still a negative thing, but they like that negative thing. Like when I was a kid, I just kind of assumed it was “Opposites”, everything good was bad and bad was good. But itd not that. Family is good, love is good, and the Addams family agree. So its choice - they just like torture and find it romantic to want to meticulously inflict pain on someone else. And that’s - to kind of reign in my blathering - kind of what gets me. That’s what makes the Bubi line drive the brainworms feral, its the choice. Like its not just the “it happened oops” kind of romance that western popular media feels drowned in. Bubi chose to take hell when he was banished, and Ironmouse/Satan chose to finish what he started; and they both chose to like “sin” (being in their canon just dissenting the heavenly dictatorship and required blind faith).

So that line is like, the peak compliment he could call her. Its not just some dirty naughty thing to say, its the embodiment of the way they chose to live their lives and that’s what’s giving me branworms. So I mean, its a credit to CDawg’s voice acting skills I guess, because he fucking sells it.

Anyway I do not support shipping real people, but the characters Bubi and Ironmouse are clearly supposed to be shippable/flirty together. So I think there is a separation between Ironmouse the girl who streams the pink haired vTuber/CDawgVA the guy from trash taste, and Ironmouse who is Satanus the King of Hell/Bubi who is Beelzebub.

I was only introduced to her content last year and I adored her music, I could not have expected how much I have come to enjoy her content!
