hmm… while i do believe that childe is a good brother who genuinely cares for his family and would go to extreme lengths to protect his brother’s childhood innocence, i don’t think that it was the main point of his story quest

instead, this is what i got from it -> childe does care for teucer deeply, and would do practically anything to make him happy (even if that involves going into foul legacy form and allowing it to take a physical toll on his body). arguably, his bond with his little brother is the one thing he has left that remains pure, something he goes to great lengths to preserve, and yet… one day, his lies will catch up with him. one day, the truth will be revealed no matter how hard he tries to hide it, and in that moment, teucer’s childhood innocence will be ripped away forever

the wall between his identity as a harbinger and personal/family life will inevitably fade away, yet there are still many uncertainties. how would his little brother react to such news? will childe even get the chance to tell him, or will he die on the battlefield before it even comes to that? these are things childe doesn’t know, and that just gives him more reason to cherish this bond while he still can…

my brain is saying 141 with a reader that sees dead people. like they notice how respectful she is to the dead. when she kills she moves the bodies, sometimes says a small prayer to herself. they see her looking at things that aren’t there. “Did you see that? Never mind.” or she mentions she feels something weird in the air, or something wrong. talks to the team about the sleep paralysis she gets, always leaving out the grayish dark figure that accompanies her on those nights.

She’s never told anyone until she got drunk enough to were she’s literally laughing saying

“oh yea i see dead people.” And the guys obv think she’s joking and egg her on about said dead people she sees. but then she tells them about the entities that follow them, the people they’ve killed, always following them around. some are very angry, she feels their malicious intentions. ends up describing them in grave detail, they way they looked, what they wore, the last words they spoke before her teammates pulled the trigger. Something that only THEY would know.

“oh man, let me tell you about Gilbert my sleep paralysis demon. I swear he’s been visiting me more and more recently.”

Most people will tell you that giving your pets any kind of medication in pill form is an absolute nightmare, meanwhile I have the exact opposite problem.

A friend of mine was watching my cat Mim while I was travelling this weekend and when he went to split her weekly allergy pill (made to split into 4 small pills when you press down on it with a finger) to give her the usual 1/4, he fumbled it and sent it skittering across the floor where my ridiculous pill-loving menace of cat immediately gobbled down the whole thing, leading to me receiving a panicked phone call at 11 pm from said friend who was understandably freaking out (everyone’s fine, a single high dose won’t cause any problems as long as it’s just this once).

Behold: the villain herself, basking in the success of her crime (she’d be planning her next pill-related heist but, as you can see if you look closely, there’s there’s nothing but elevator music behind those eyes)
