Not Dating, part 3

Eddie needs better self esteem. In the meantime, he's wallowing and indulging in that Triple Decker Eggo Extravaganza that El told him about. (The great thing is, it's only 8000 calories.)

The first thing Eddie does upon getting home is slam the door of the brand new double-wide that still doesn’t feel quite like home. New walls and new furniture and Wayne had to start a whole new mug and hat collection, which sucks because most of it had been from his long haul trucker days and everything had had a story behind it. Now the stories are mostly, ‘look what I found in a bin at the thrift shop.’

His uncle looks up from the newspaper he’s reading in his (new, not quite broken in yet) recliner and mildly raises an eyebrow.

The second thing Eddie does is stomp over to the phone and grab the jack that connects it to the wall. “We don’t need this for a few days, right?” he snarls, keeping his voice and expression hard because as soon as he lets up on that facade, the second it cracks, he’s going to fall apart. He hadn’t realized how much Steve had been holding him together lately, but now that’s been yanked out by the roots and he feels dangerously unstable.

Wayne considers for a moment, then shrugs. “Nah, guess not.”

“Good.” Eddie yanks it and continues to his room without another glance. He slams that door behind him too, digs through the detritus on top of his (new) desk to find the radio Dustin had given him, and turns the knob to off with a vicious twist.

Then he burrows into his (new) bed and screams into his (new) pillow and wishes that none of it had never happened, that he was still in their old place in its old spot where everything was familiar and he didn’t have scars and he’d never spoken more than a few words to Steve fucking Harrington in his entire, goddamn, shitty little life.

Over the next few days, Eddie chain smokes through both his cigarettes and his pot stash. Maybe he’ll still leave town, but once the initial angry energy drained away he hasn’t felt like doing anything, so it can wait. The only times he crawls out of bed to use the bathroom or get something to eat. And eat. And eat.

Yes he’s aware that he’s self-soothing with food, and no he doesn’t give a flying fuck. It feels like a black hole has opened up inside him and what it’s demanding is Eggo waffles with every single little square full up with whipped cream, chocolate sauce, and M&Ms. (Eleven had mentioned it in an offhand comment once as her go-to Bad Mood Food, and by god that girl is onto something; it’s bready, creamy, and crunchy combined in every bite.)

But it’s not booze, so Wayne hasn’t commented on these additions to the grocery list. And thank fucking god for that because Eddie doesn’t think he’d be able to talk about much of anything without suffering a complete breakdown—just getting out of bed is hard enough.

The phone stays unplugged, so if anyone (if Steve) tries to call, Eddie remains blissfully unaware. Max broke in on day two to check for proof of life, turned the radio back on and changed it to an obscure channel, and warned him that if he turned it off again she and the rest of the Party would not be held responsible for Dustin’s actions. So, fine, when Dustin radios to check in Eddie responds, but it’s all brief and monosyllabic, literally just a proof you’re not dead’ call.

And Eddie is left alone. It’s the way he wants it.

It’s agony.

After four days of wallowing in exactly what he deserves for falling for a straight boy, Eddie rolls sluggishly over in bed towards the tap of thrown pebbles on his window. He glares at the offending thing, which he can’t even see through the thick blackout curtain.

“Fuck off,” he yells, and his voice is hoarse but carries well enough. He slumps back down and starts to pull the blanket back over his head, when the tapping comes again. “What about fuck off did you not—”

“It’s Steve.”

Eddie freezes, then shudders and turns to whine into his pillow, the only word going through his mind a frantic litany of no no no NO. He can’t let Steve see him like this, can’t let the object of his hopeless affection know how much this is hurting him for fear that Steve might try to be nice about it, and that would just blur the lines even more and make things worse. And Eddie hasn’t showered, combed his hair, or brushed his teeth in days, there’s probably chocolate on his face, and the way he can’t even pull his shirt down over his belly is just—no.

“Absolutely fucking not,” he snarls.

“Eds, please, I made a mistake. I fucked up, I know that, but please let me at least try to fix this.”

And oh, Eddie already knows what mistake Steve made. It’s one thing to be friends with the local gay metalhead and social pariah, but to fuck him? Can’t have that, no fucking sir.

Instead of answering, he buries himself in his blankets and under his pillow and goes back to wallowing in high gear because it’s all he’s good for right now. A few more days in this cocoon and he’ll come out harder, steeled against Steve’s sweet, prettyboy charms that he must not even realize how thick he lays on all the time, and everything will be fine. Just… just a few more days to forget how cared for Steve had sometimes managed to make him feel while fucking him.

But he’s forgotten that Steve knows where the spare key is—not that the lock on a trailer door is all that robust, but Wayne has insisted lately after the whole ‘hunt the freak’ debacle, and that’s fair enough.

“Eddie.” Spoken in a shaky but determined voice right outside his bedroom door. “You don’t have to let me in, just… Hear me out, okay?”

Oh, now you want to talk, Eddie grumbles internally. But not out loud, oh no; his plan is to ignore Steve until he goes away. Fuck this, fuck that, fuck everything.

It sounds like Steve is sitting down out there, thumping against the door or maybe one of the walls and sliding all the way down. Four days apart and part of Eddie still aches to see him, pictures against his will how Steve might look right now. His imagination wants to paint shadows underneath Steve’s eyes, wants to think that he’s at least lost some sleep over this even if it’s a long shot, lips bitten red and begging for a kiss, their first—

Eddie loathes himself.

“I’m sorry I didn’t answer your question,” Steve is saying, and he does sound tired, at least. That’s something. “It’s not that I didn’t want to, I just had… too many thoughts, it was like a traffic jam in my head. But I don’t want you to think I don’t want this, you. Because I like you, Eddie.”

I like you.

Like you.

Because I like you, Eddie.

Eddie has gone so still that he’s not even breathing, and Steve keeps talking.

“I really do. As more than just a friend, okay? So I don’t… Don’t not come to movie nights, please. If it’s the kids too or just us, I don’t care; I want you to be there. I always want you to be there.”

His first instinct is to be angry. If that’s how Steve really feels, why had he let Eddie leave? Had he even tried to call? Why did it take days for him to show up?

Then Eddie thinks, Well why wouldn’t it take the better part of a week to come to terms with liking someone like me, and the anger sputters out.

Because it’s not like he’s a catch or anything. A three-time senior who never managed to graduate (never mind that he’d gotten his GED with flying colors on the first try), known around town for selling drugs and being briefly arrested for triple homicide… Son of a criminal and a drug addict. Raised in a trailer park, a far cry from the big houses in Loch Nora, unless his dad dragged him out that way to case the neighborhood or something.

And even before the scars, he’d never really thought of himself as attractive. Okay at best. He’s proud of his long hair and his tats—or he had been, before patches of them had gone the same way as one of his fucking nipples. Besides all that, there’s…

Deep in his burrow of blankets, Eddie feels along the lower curve of his belly and wonders if Steve would’ve turned up on day two or three instead of four if he hadn’t gained so much weight lately. Despite how all this had started. Despite the belly rubs and how those kind touches had become something heated, almost reverent. Despite how Steve had always brought him more to eat and drink, sometimes before Eddie even had to ask, like he just knew—

“... Eddie? Are you still in there, man?”

He can’t contain his loud, scoffing snort, because there are only two ways out of his room and it’s not like he can just shimmy out a window these days. Which hasn’t been a problem until now, when the man of his dreams is blocking the door to offer… what, some sort of pity relationship? For Eddie to be his gay experiment? To be called man during emotional moments like they’re bros or something?

“Okay,” Steve sighs, and Eddie would bet real money that he was running a hand through his hair as he said it. “Guess I deserved that. Sorry.”

And he really does sound sorry, but honestly? That’s not the only thing that has Eddie crawling desperately out of bed. It’s that he needs to see Steve’s face when he sees what Eddie has devolved into over the past few days. Greasy, unwashed, heavier, with traces of his go-to depression meal around his mouth, wearing only an ill-fitting shirt and ratty boxers. Because that’s when he’ll know, right? However Steve reacts when he opens that door, that’s how Eddie will know.

So he gets up, itching from new stretch marks and stumbling a little with the long put-off need to stretch his legs. Shuffles over and grabs the doorknob so tight his knuckles go an even paler shade than the rest of him, and jerks it open.

Too quick for Steve to react. And he had been sitting dejectedly against the door, because when it opens in and he ends up flat on his back with his head on Eddie’s one-socked-one-not feet. Staring up at the underside of Eddie’s gut, which, goddammit, means Eddie can’t see his face.

“Shit,” Steve breathes. And then he’s scrambling up to where Eddie can see he’s flushed all the way down to his chest, courtesy of a butter-yellow Henley open at the collar by a few buttons.

That’s when Eddie notices the bouquet of flowers clutched in Steve’s hand, maybe a little worse for wear from falling but the bottoms of the stems wrapped carefully in wet paper towel, plastic sandwich bag, and a rubber band. It’s a home job, not from some shop. They’re wildflowers.

“What,” Eddie croaks. His voice gives out on the rest, which should have been, the hell do you want, Harrington? But Steve… Steve brought him fucking flowers that he’d bothered to pick himself.

Steve isn’t wrinkling his nose in disgust at Eddie’s unkempt appearance, and he’s not looking away. Instead, he wets his lips nervously and can’t seem to look anywhere else. “Eds, I…” He runs his free hand through his hair, then shakes his head. “Damn, I had it all worked out with Robin and now I can’t remember any of it.”

“You told Robin,” Eddie says slowly. Not even a question, because it makes perfect sense that Steve would tell his best friend everything—and yet it doesn’t, because straight boys never tell anyone. Straight boys usually threaten him with violence to keep him from telling anyone. “About… us.”

“Yeah,” Steve admits. “I needed a sounding board… Sorry, if that’s, uh. If you didn’t want me too. She won’t tell anyone, I swear.”

And why does it sound like Steve is the one reassuring him about that? Steve is a catch. Steve is handsome, could probably have any girl in town if he really put the effort in. Eddie would shout from the rooftops that he bagged Steve Harrington if it wouldn’t probably get him killed—again.

When Eddie doesn’t respond, just stares at him blankly, Steve thrusts out the bouquet. “Anyway. These are for you. Peace offering? I just want to talk.”

Eddie is so confused. He feels grimy and gross and slow, and he doesn’t know if he still wants to be angry or if there’s still some other feeling buried under the rubble of his composure. So he blinks, opens his mouth, blinks again, says, “Can you put them in a mug or something? I need to take a shower first.”

He doesn’t know how to feel right now, so buying himself some time will have to do.

SKZ Reaction To Being Caught Making Out

Genre: fluff, suggestiveness (not straight smut but Imma go ahead and say MDNI)

Chan:

When Changbin accidentally walked in on you and Chan mid-make-out in his studio, Chan would have conflicting reactions and emotions. On the one hand, he is definitely surprised and stops kissing you. He may even weirdly try to hide you regardless of whether Changbin knows about your relationship. However, there's also a tiny bit of pride hidden in his chest, but it is superseded by the obvious blush that spreads from his cheeks and up to his ears.

Minho:

Embarrassed, but doesn't show it immediately. When Seungmin walks in, he'll act dramatically and yell at him to leave (though it's obviously not malicious). If Seungmin giggles or smirks at the scene, he'll make some baseless threat, but by the time Seungmin leaves, his ears are bright red. Minho will get up and lock the door quickly. Before continuing where you left off, the two of you will probably laugh and promise to buy Seungmin a meal later.

Changbin:

Binnie might like to put out a "dark" and "hard" era, but this man would be capital E embarrassed. I imagine him trying to act as if it wasn't happening and asking Hyunjin what he needed. He would only get angry if there had been an expectation of full privacy (locked door, etc.) or if things had escalated to the point of removing some clothing. Mostly, he would just want to forget it happened and would probably keep your future make out sessions in private, locked spaces.

Hyunjin:

Surprisingly, normally dramatic Hyunjin isn't too embarrassed. He might be a bit surprised, but he doesn't really get the big deal when Jeongin walks in and catches the two of you making out. Hyunjin is a romantic and kissing is fairly casual to him (think of all his paintings and sketches of couples kissing), and even though you were a bit more hot and heavy, he doesn't really care as long as the two of you were clothed. With that said, he will make sure you and Jeongin are not too embarrassed. But, overall, he's fairly nonplussed which surprises you.

Jisung:

In contrast to Hyunjin, Jisung flips the fuck out. He's not angry, but his face is bright red and he'll even hide himself in your neck when Felix catches the two of you. He probably won't even say anything and Felix will probably end up just apologizing and leaving the room quickly. Poor Jisung will probably be mortified for the rest of the day. Eventually, he will be able to laugh about it, and may even get more used to smaller public displays of affection. Still, it doesn't stop him from leaning down and kissing you again.

Felix:

Felix is also a member who doesn't really see the big deal. I mean, he'd rather not be caught by Changbin, but it doesn't embarrass him really. Sure, Changbin might tease him a bit, but the members all knew that he was head over heels for you, so he basically just shrugged it off. He will make sure you aren't too embarrassed and if you are, he'll privately talk to Changbin later to make sure he doesn't mention it around you. I don't think he would necessarily restart the make out, but instead, just wrap you in his arms and watch a movie.

Seungmin:

This puppy does not get embarrassed easily. But when it comes to you, he, for some reason, blushes even if a member just mentions your name. So, when Minho walks in on you two, Seungmin becomes half protective of you and half embarrassed by wrapping his arms around you, but you can also feel the heat coming off his face. He'll probably be polite and ask Minho to leave, even though anger started to settle in. Still, he keeps a level head but is unable to continue because he doesn't want to get caught again.

Jeongin:

He's not the most embarrassed of the group, but his shy smile and the way he looks down tell you that Chan walking in startled him. But, while embarrassed due to the situation, he's willing to face pretty much anything for you, even negative emotions. Though, his hyungs tease him enough that after a few hours, he's mostly moved on. Still, from that day forward, he's much more careful.

He's so competitive— in a good way. He loves to just grab your wrists, and overpower you, the smug-shit eating grin on his face. The moment your hand made contact with his hoodie, you felt a hand grip your side— the hand gripped onto your clothes tightly and was then followed by swooping legs that kicked your knees out from under you. Jeff then will use this momentum and his grip on your side to remove himself from under you before you hit the bed. In the blink of an eye, the cocky man had flipped you under hom and placed each knee beside your hips to pin you in place. He never lets you win, and probably never will. He's such a loveable asshole. His idea of an award for overpowering you is…suggestive.

ﾒ TOBY

Toby tries to be gentle, but to be completely honest— he doesn't know his own strength so there is a chance he might hurt you, just a little bit. Toby would wrap his arms around your waist and lifting you off the ground, spinning you around and then gently setting you back down. You would both giggle and laugh as you playfully tugged at each other's limbs, all the while maintaining a sense of mutual respect and affection. Whenever he would playfully tug you over to him, he'd press kisses all over you while you desperately laughed and pushed at him in attempt to get him to let you breathe.

ﾒ JACK

He doesn't do this often— considering he's very much a large demon man, he's very gentle with you no matter what— so it's somewhat obvious that he wouldn't play fight with you often. He would have to be in an especially giddy mood, and even then— he will probably just let you pin him down to see that victorious little grin on your face. He won't directly wrestle with you, but he will bite you LOL. He will sink his teeth in your skin and smirk at your little giggles/whimpers— it might become way more heated than you had originally intended.

ﾒ HOODIE

This man. Oh my God. He's such a loveable asshole. He definitely DOESN'T let you win. He's usually tired by the time he gets home— but as he watches you casually fold clothes, his tiredness begins to fade, and he finds himself feeling more and more awake, energized by the company of his darling. He will randomly wrestle with you and act extremely playful. He will lean over and plant a soft, playful kiss on your cheek, causing you to giggle. His eyes will sparkle with mischief when he's playfully wrestling with you on the bed, and ruining all the folded clothes. Will he help you fold the clothes afterwards? Only if you win.

ﾒ MASKY

Will let you win sometimes, just so he can go to sleep. If he's feeling petty though, he will overpower you just so he can see that cute little annoyed frown on your face. He also loves to man-handle you lmao. You watched as Tim rolled his eyes, knowing that after all the shit talking you had done over the last hour, it wouldn’t take more to get him to snap. You slid your hands up his sides as you lightly brushed your lips along his jawline. The moment you felt his breath hitch, you planted your hands on his chest and shoved him down on the bef, quickly jumping back out of his reach. At first— you were just being playful, but now, it turned into something else.

I love Liu so much— he always lets you win, and compliments you throughout the entire time. The cute little compliments aren't meant to catch you off guard— but they do anyway. Despite the playful tone of your words, it was clear that you both held a deep love and respect for each other. As you continued to play-fight, your movements grew more fluid and graceful, as if they were dancing rather than wrestling. Finally, after several minutes of play— you both ended the game with a gentle embrace, both breathing heavily and grinning from ear to ear. In that moment, it was clear that your cute bond went far beyond mere physical play, and that the love and affection they shared for each other was truly special. He loves you so much.

You guys struggle to overpower eachother lmao… you both play-fight all the time, engaging in playful banter, teasing each other with witty remarks and jovial insults. Sometimes, he'll grope you just to catch you off guard, or throw a string of extremely suggestive compliments giving him enough time to be able to flip you over. Checking your phone and - “I'll be back real quick!..” you tell him, leaving the room and closing the door behind you,, immediately, he takes the time to snoop - reaching for under the bed. It's where he hides his stash, so why not look there first? I posted my overall view of what is going on, and how Teru's mistake was trusting him so much he practically ignored that Akane is part of the clock keepers: Here

But I want to drive home just how much trust Teru is showing Akane, cause it is exactly as you said Anon "It didn't cross Teru's mind that he should be wary of Akane"

Let's set the stage: Teru is a supernatural expert, but he doesn't know anything about the clock keepers boundary, he doesn't even know how to enter it, Akane is the one giving all the exposition in this arc.

So from the start, Teru is dependent on Akane, and he is okay with it. He doesn't act uptight and tense to be in an unknown boundary, owned by very powerful supernaturals.

He acts borderline careless, letting Hanako escape, and curious about what catches his eye, not hesitating to grab that strange owl wing: Must be harmless since Akane is holding it after all.

He follows Akane's lead: When Akane says "Follow the bird" Teru obeys, no questions asked.

He is fully focusing ahead, where there are no threats to be seen, so he is relaxed, because Akane has his back.

This belief does not die when Akane hits him, he mostly seem surprised, as if he didn't expect a supernatural to go unnoticed by Akane and hit his back.

Which is a slap in the face, cause Akane held his arm, he went straight for his weakness.

Teru has a hand on his sword at all time even when he isn't really in attack/danger mode, just in this chapter we can see it a few times.

And despite Akane holding his arm (so gently too) and him being a smart person, Teru does not immediately connect the dots, not realizing that the reason he didn't get any warning from Akane is because it was Akane himself attacking.

He only switched from "an attack?? I need to defend myself/attack back" and enters into a betrayed rage when he sees with his own eyes Akane is the culprit.

Teru trusts him a lot.

And Akane knows.

The idea of putting him on trial makes him distressed. Sad. Guilty.

He can't even face him.

He originally didn't restrain Teru. He was satisfied taking a step back after marking Teru and seemed like he was going to leave it at that, even apologizing for putting the mark in the first place.

He only restrained him because teru was trying to kill him.

And at no point does he fight Teru back he just defends and dodges. He will do his damn clock keeper duty, but he won't hurt Teru or betray him in any way he has any control over.

Chan ‗ ❍

I feel like Chan would generally be quite chill, simply because he's someone who doesn't like to hang out with toxic people, therefore would try to avoid issues from the start.

But while with some other members, fo example, the reason would be their good/non conflicting nature (which it is, for sure), I low-key think that in Chan's case could be because he's actually quite aware that when he gets mad/ annoyed with something, he's not gonna let it go easily.

He also wants to focus as much as possible on the positive and wholesome aspects of a relationship, but could unfortunately, when the time comes to have an argument, may be showing his worst self. Someone that he also hates and would like to keep locked away.

These situations wouldn't come up in relation to jealousy though, unless the relationship itself was toxic. In that case he'd either end things pretty quickly or spend a lot of time being upset and arguing, depending on how strong your bond is by that time. In the second case I think things would end up either very coldly or very messily.

Again, I feel like though he might get insecure at times, his reasons wouldn't be tied to any other person except himself.

He doesn't give a fuck about random people's opinions, but he cares about yours. Which is why feeling like he isn't doing his absolute best for you would be the worst.

For example, if a coworker or a friend was kind enough to make you a surprise/gift/bring you food to cheer you up, he'd feel upset that he didn't think about it first.

He'd start overthinking and doubting himself, maybe beating himself up over the fact that you haven't been on many dates lately or he's been too caught up in work.

He'd also probably go quiet because he feels bad,but you would catch up quickly and eventually reassure him and work things out.

If you did happen to get a little jealous (a normal amount I guess?) he would make sure to talk it out and understand what made you upset. Communication is fundamental and he knows it, even though sometimes he can't deliver quite well as he would like. He would always end up apologizing, though.

Now, about the kinky part, I do think that he would be into being a little possessive. Mostly because he's just so in love and attracted to you that the thought of other people even thinking of 'getting a piece' would drive him mad. Don't worry, he's gonna let it all out and remind you exactly who gets to make you feel good.

If you did that to him, he would find it extremely hot and amusing. He likes the fact that you're as desperate for him as he is for you, and would be more than willing to let you prove it to him however you wanted.

Minho is quite similar to Seungmin I think, but with a sprinkle of Chan in the middle. He probably wouldn't stand a toxic partner, but I feel like he'd be more into it kink wise.

He seems like a pretty confident person, but overall I think that his own security would come from the fact that he wouldn't be with you if he didn't fully trusted you and respected you from the start.

I could see him getting a little possessive when he saw/felt other people being obvious with eyeing you or flirting. It would be more a question of pride than anything, though.

'Yeah, you like what you see? I fucking bet, too bad it's mine' or some shit like that. He'd really get off on you also being into it. I'd say that he would find it amusing when someone tried to flirt with you, because he knew you are his and would never betray him. He'd almost find it funny to see the disappointment on their faces.

He'd also appreciate you making some similar remarks, but accuse him of actually cheating or betraying you in some way and you lost him. You should know better, you should know HIM better.

He can play around a lot but when things get serious or too much into the emotional aspect then he'll take it very seriously, too.

Again, he wouldn't be with someone that he doesn't 100% trust or that wouldn't trust him, so it would come as an unwelcomed surprise and probably have a big fight over it before he dumps your ass.

Absolutely no time to waste on problematic behavior, especially within a relationship that should be his safe place. It would also leave him quite hurt and overthink it a lot, even if he wasn't in the wrong.

Changbin ‗ ❍

This man doesn't have a single bad bone in his body. That's why he would absolutely despise stuff like jealousy, but he is human too and sometimes humans do get a little into their heads.

His jealousy would come from either lack of attention (in his regards) or 'too much' attention (from other people to you). For Changbin it would never be THAT serious regardless, truly. He's a little silly so could very well just be jealous, mostly in a humorous way, of you for example petting and praising a dog.

He'd pout and go like 'What about me :(' and make you shower him with kisses and attention. That's truly the most he'd go in terms of being jealous of someone or something. He just really wants you to himself, okay?

When other people seem to be giving you 'too much attention' (which realistically is never, unless it's unwanted), it means that he just wishes that he did it first or more often. For example, if a friend bought you a specific thing that you've been wanting for a long time. He'd be really happy to see you happy, but low-key wished that he was the one who gave it to you, instead.

Overall unless it's something that could directly impact you in any way, he doesn't care. If a dude at the bar was being an asshole he wouldn't get jealous, he'd straight up fight (for you).

If you got jealous of him though, depending on the situations and the dynamic of your relationship I think that he'd either find it kinda cute that you wanted him for yourself (and make sure to shower you with attention). On the other hand, if the jealousy came from a more problematic mindset, he simply wouldn't put up with it and would be quite annoyed that you even implied about infidelity.

I feel like the whole 'You're mine' thing could potentially be a turn on in the bedroom but to a limited extent. He seems like the kind of guy that would lean into the more wholesome aspect of the relationship and avoid problematic feelings, even if it's just to mess around in private.

Hyunjin ‗ ❍

The thing about Hyunjin, is that he's a hopeless romantic. This is both a blessing and a curse, I think.

One one hand, you would expect him to have quite high standards for both himself and his partner, meaning that if he decides to be with someone they 100% have to have a similar mindset.

Between all the art, music, poetry, cinema and such, I feel like he would spend a lot of times just thinking and fantasizing about the things that he has seen/read/heard, and would probably end up creating a whole new idea of love in his mind.

Which, again, could be a blessing because the chances of him purposefully hurting you or cheating are very low. But, at the same time, would maybe end up reading too much into things or situations and end up disappointed/upset, even when he doesn't have reason to be.

He essentially could very well take a grain of salt and make it into a whole ocean. He'd also be pretty easy to fix things with I think, because he seems very direct. He's either the type to blurt out everything at once or be so overdramatically upset that you couldn't help but ask what was wrong.

Hyunjin wouldn't stand toxic or overly possessive behavior, I think. He'd end up having a big argument and break up pretty quickly if the relationship was fresh, but could try to 'gaslight' himself into thinking that it's just because you love him too much, until everything inevitably goes to hell (and you'd have a messy breakup). Would 100% cry for days on end and let it out through art (all kinds).

I have to admit though, that I don't think that he would be completely against a little jealousy. Again, he's a romantic (a little delulu, if you will) and would probably like a bit of the angst/teasing that comes with possessiveness/jealousy.

Would 100% do some movie-like stuff like come up to you and kiss you passionately in front of a person that was flirting/eyeing you up and down a little too much, just to prove the point.

Would also probably enjoy you doing the same (still a normal amount, I mean). This applies to the bedroom too, for sure. The words 'I'm yours/you're mine' are probably in a whole special chapter of his personal romance mind-book.

Jisung ‗ ❍

Yes, he would get jealous. To an extent. He's very sweet and likes to have fun and play around a lot, which is why I feel like this wouldn't show as much if he was in a healthy relationship, maybe with someone who is calmer than him.

In that case I think that the occasional jealousy would come mainly from him wanting to be the very best version of himself for you, and seeing you interact with people that seem to be able to give you something 'better than him', would upset him.

He would definitely bottle it up and either wait until you notice or explode in a random moment of vulnerability. He'd feel so bad afterwards. Why would it be you fault if he was not being enough for you?

I also feel like these intrusive thoughts and overthinking would never fully go away, but he'd try to tell himself to at least trust you and the loving words that you tell him. He tells himself that if you're still with him, there must be something that he's doing right at the end of the day.

If he happened to be caught up with a more jealous/obsessive person though, it would get SO messy. He can be a hot head sometimes, or so we've heard, so of course if you put two hot heads together what do you get? A big mess.

I feel like sometimes him being so much in his own head could make him seriously question his actions, especially if someone else is pointing them out to him.

I think that an obsessive behavior from a partner would be an absolute deal breaker, but unfortunately it'd depend on how deep he is into the relationship.

If you were at the early stages, then he'd have a way clearer mind to end things. But if maybe this had been going on for a while or he was truly into you, it would be a lot harder for him to deal with it in a healthy way. You would end up arguing A LOT and probably be toxic as hell with each other.

That being said, I think that he wouldn't necessarily have a thing/kinks related to this type of behaviors, but angry/make up sex would 100% be a thing. In that case, I'd expect him to go a little crazy with it.

Felix ‗ ❍

Felix seems to have a similar vibe to Jeongin, I think. He'd try as much as possible to avoid any type of uncomfortable/bad dynamics in a relationship.

For this to happen, though, he would have to be with someone that matches his vibe and that he could trust completely.

I don't think that there are things or situations that could get him actually jealous per se, but he could be feeling a little insecure in very random moments.

Like a casual comment on another person that you may find attractive and doesn't share some of his personality traits or features. Or maybe not as much as he'd like, which means that he'll think that's also what you would like, so he'd feel like he's not enough.

He would tend to get a little into his own head in these situations, which means that it would be up to you to actually understand if something was wrong. He'd eventually talk it out and forget pretty quickly about whatever the problem was, with the right amount of praise and affection.

I think Felix would be really turned off with a partner that would get overly jealous or possessive, especially if unjustified. BUT, I wouldn't rule out him actually being a little into it either.

For example if he was getting his make up or hair done and you'd say something like 'I wish that was my job' or something similar to tease him. I feel like he would find it amusing and genuinely boost his confidence, since of course he loves you and wants you to want him, too.

Could see him play around with it in the bedroom a little, especially to tease you. Careful or he might start purring if you'd go with something along the lines of 'The prettiest boy, and it's mine'

Seungmin ‗ ❍

He seems to be a quite cynical person. And can be a little insecure at times. Put these together, and you'll have a pretty emotionally unavailable man (sometimes).

The two things that could get Seungmin jealous are self doubt and possessiveness. He's someone who will love with all his heart, but that could scare him sometimes.

He would almost be afraid of loving too much and feeding into a 'delusion' (hence all the 'I don't believe in forever' stuff), that if broken, would absolutely crush him. He'd mostly blame/get mad at himself for allowing his heart to take over his mind.

He'd probably be quite afraid of not being enough > get embarrassed and mad at himself > shut you out because he's way too much in his own head. It would take some cooling off and some overthinking before he'd eventually even listen to you.

He's also someone who values actions way more than words, and this particular mindset would be useful whenever he's feeling a little jealous or possessive. It wouldn't be that easy to get him riled up, and he'd also probably not really act on it either. He gives off a petty/cold shoulder type of vibe more than an outburst.

Any type of jealousy would eventually be born from his own insecurity, not from him not trusting you. These situations would be fixed pretty quickly as soon as you'd manage to get him out of his head, whether it is from some sort of verbal reassurance or a physical action.

For example a hand hold at the right moment, including him in conversations, a random word of praise, a sweet phrase. On the other hand, this jealousy could very well be taken out in the bedroom too, I think. Would kinda get off on the whole 'I'm yours/you're mine' thing.

In general unless if you were are a pretty obsessive person yourself, he wouldn't give you reasons to get jealous. He seems pretty shy and quite careful with getting too comfortable, especially with strangers. He'd probably reflect on himself and eventually either work it out or be a deal breaker to him.

Jeongin ‗ ❍

Jeongin also seems like a person that wouldn't like the idea of jealousy or in general to deal with negative feelings.

He can get insecure sometimes but I feel like he'd end up making the problem about himself and wouldn't get 'triggered' by jealousy in regards of another person.

The only times in which he could get slightly annoyed is seeing you have fun with someone else that isn't him simply because he wants to be the one to make you happy all the time.

Jeongin really does look like the kind of guy who is just chill. If there aren't any issues within your relationship, he's not gonna be the first to make them. I also think that he wouldn't overthink on these type of things. If he decides to be with you in the first place it means that he trusts you and you probably have a similar mindset.

That's why I think that if you ever ended up being jealous over him, it would come as a surprise and not necessarily a good one. Of course it's different if you're joking, but he still wouldn't put up with it for long. I truly just feel like he hates the concept.

If he was the accused one, at first he'd try to talk it out and understand what made you react like that, and eventually apologize to make sure that he never does it again. But if your accusations came out to be meaningless and it was you being obsessive, he'd probably end the whole relationship. Straight up.

It doesn't feel like a possession/possessive kink would be a thing in the bedroom, either. Not denying nor thinking too much on a dom/sub type of dynamic at all, I just think that remarkings like 'I'm yours/you're mine' type of thing wouldn't be his cup of tea.

While he and his brother are known to be polar opposites, theyre more alike than people give them credit for, because just like Floyd, Jade liked to stick with more interesting people, and boy have you piqued his interest greatly

While he thought you were rather dull at first, your strenght definitely intrigued him, even more so when you're just a freshman

You wouldnt see it in his face as he remained his composure because, well, he's Jade after all, but the surprised look he gives for a brief second was there and you swear left and right you saw it

Regaining his composure rather quickly, his suprised face curved into am amused smile,

"My my aren't you interesting? Perhaps you can spare some time and visit monstro lounge later? I'll be working on my shift, of course but you can always talk to me," he said, a polite smile painted on his features

"Oh, and, feel free to bring your little first yeae group with you too, fufufu~"

As the two of you got closer though, it would be less of him treating you like some sort of creature and more of him praising your skills

First of all, being fit and able to do activities with ease is definite qualification you have to be with him. Um if you can't do that, you guys aren't gonna last long. 😭

If you are not physically fit, you don't have to be to your fullest extent, but if you get tired easily he will just bitch and moan about how you can't keep up with him. 😕😥

But if you are the sporty type. He likes having you around a lot for multiple reasons, but mostly because he wants to show you off because almost none of the girls in derry are as fit as you are, and that's a flex in his mind.

It's Henry Bowers so realistically he's not gonna be there for every one of your events but he usually comes 'if I feel like it' 🤨 wdym? You thought you had a choice?

He's kinda impressed with a lot of the capabilities you have. You can be really strong or fast, he finds that really hot; and he makes sure you know that most of the time 😍

He doesn't want to talk about sports with you a lot because he feels like it would be out of place for you to talk about sports or anything masculine with him because your a woman, but he sometimes catches himself talking about football, or that baseball game last night because he can't help that he knows so much about it, and you do to, so he can't really help himself. 😭

If he's ever in private with you before or after your event he will end up having a makeout session with you for 'good luck' 🤨 we both know this isn't about the game buddy.

If your ever with belch or victor they'll toss around a football or a baseball with you once in a while (Patrick said he doesn't wanna do that with a girl so he's out of the picture rn) but they it's all fun and games till Henry shows up and feels all left out and shi. 😭

Overall he really likes you and loves how hot you are, and would end up doing a lot for you and wouldn't even realize it.

Now Patrick usually wouldn't go for athletic girls or any sporty woman for multiple reasons one because they're all usually really loud and usually very school spirit and he's not trying to get all the attention drawn on him. (He's also a slight misogynist he thinks women shouldn't play sports unless your a cheerleader or something).

He liked you because you were quiet and minded your own business most of the time. Plus he likes to watch your events to if he ever caught you any where.

He's definitely the person to stare at you and immediately look away and do something else if you catch him lacking.

Oh but when he finally asked you out and you said yes, he's coming to all of your games because its just an excuse to get out of his house.

he's actually not really a huge PDA person because like I said he's not trying to get everyone to notice him, but I never said he won't do it at all. He will kiss you and grope you a little bit before you go out to play/go your turn In whatever sport you play

Loves that you're physically fit; I mean you don't have to be, but he does find it incredibly sexy the way you can move around especially if your flexible. If you ask him to help you stretch he will most likely say yes no doubt about it.

You might have to explain some things to him about the sport you play, but don't ramble about it because then he'll get bored, and act like a little bit of an asshole unfortunately. 😭

If you want him to dress up for any school spirt weeks at football games or wear anything to support you; than you have to force him to do it because ain't no way he's gonna do that on his own and go out of his way to dress up for spirt week for anything. 😮‍💨

He may act like a bit of an asshole sometimes, but only really to mess with you, he doesn't actually wanna make you upset because that means he has to go out of his way to comfort you and in his mind thats a ton of work. 😭😭

Belch huggins

First of all he's kinda surprised you said yes when he asked you to be his girlfriend because in his eyes in a lot of perspectives he sees you as so much better than him because your athletic, and really skilled and he thinks he's like the opposite of that. (😭)

But as long as you reassure him that you love him for him than he feels a lot more confident and much better about being with you.

He likes to talk about you and the sports you do time to time he tries not to make it obvious because he knows Henry and the rest of them get tired of him talks about you but he can't help it. 😔

Anytime someone brings you up he's like "yea, that's my girlfriend lol" he loves to say it because nobody expects it at all.

If you're in private he'll rub your back or your legs if you're sore. He just wants an excuse to touch you. (He'll even use lotion if he's feeling extra generous)

You guys definitely go to homecoming together and you force him to dress up with you for spirt week. 🤩 (he secretly loves it)

He loves to drive you to your games in his Trans am, and likes to give you small sweet kisses and hugs because he it's for good luck.

He loves to watch you beat other people at sports and watch how skilled you actually are, and likes to bring it up if you're having an off day just to prove how much he actually pays attention to you and loves you.

If you specifically like one sport and you constantly talk about a team that you like. He'll buy you and him tickets to that certain event. He loves to see how excited you get and give him lots of kisses to prove how much you love him for doing that for you.

He loves a lot, and is intrigued with you half the time because of how mobile you are and how skilled and focused you can be on one thing.

He's so quiet the only reason you knew about him was because he was apart of the bowers gang and he always stared at you in class and in the hall ways or maybe at your sporting events.

- He loves you so tenderly and gets filled with these new sickly sweet thoughts of romance that didn't interest him before but now that YOU are in the picture, it makes his heart leap.

- Sometimes he hates you and gives you the cold shoulder, avoiding you and getting frustrated at the mere mention of your name because HOW DARE YOU MAKE HIM FEEL SO WEAK AND VULNERABLE!? THAT'S NOT FAIR. AND YOU HAVE THE A U D A C I T Y TO NOT BE AS OBSESSED WITH HIM AS HE IS WITH YOU? outrageous!

- Other times he's a mix of the two, where he just gives you the cold shoulder and expects you to approach him and when you leave him alone then he gets more annoyed because THAT'S NOT WHAT HE WANTED YOU TO DO.

- Then there are times where he's completely stoic faced and just...watches you. Even when you can't see him, you can feel his eyes burning into him. When you aren't around, he's still quiet and looks distant yet focused on something, nothing can catch his attention for too long and even Thor and Odin are off put by his behavior because, well, he's never like this.

- He'll only react to your name or voice, but if he sees you aren't there or you're talking to someone who isn't him then he gets bitter and goes into his more sour moods. If you are there or you are talking to him directly, then he'll be over the moon and float over to you right away!

- Touchy guy, honestly. It doesn't matter whether you're a God or Human, he doesn't see you as either, he only sees you as his. Something that belongs to him. So he won't, like, full on grope you but he will pull you into hugs, put his arms around your waist and his head on your shoulder, or playing with your hair no matter what length it is and other things like that.

- Sometimes he might touch you more intimately, such as putting a hand on your thigh, cupping your face in his hands, and overall just testing to see how far you'll allow him to go before you get upset and move away from him. Again, he mostly just thinks its funny to make you a little uncomfortable at times.

- You honestly don't know if its lust, love, or hatred that he feels for you and it genuinely gives you a headache just thinking about it.

- Easily possessive and jealous as a Yandere as well. For example, if you were ranting to him about Poseidon being a dick then he'll frown and grab your face and make you look at him and say: "You're talking about him too much, I don't like it." before letting you go, so you just awkwardly change the subject to something else that might keep his interest or maybe make him the topic and he's back to being his jovial and playful self.

- With that being said, if you have someone else you're romantically interested in, KEEP IT TO YOURSELF AS BEST AS YOU CAN. SHOVE THOSE FEELINGS DEEP INSIDE YOU AND LET THEM DIE. Because once Loki finds out, he's outraged.

- If they're human, he will kill them, Ragnarok be damned. If they're a God and they're more stronger than him, he knows he won't be able to kill them but he'll pester them and use his shape-shifting abilities to change into you and make sure they never want to be near you again. He doesn't feel bad when you cry, after all, YOU'RE the one who should apologize for hurting HIM.

- Loki himself also doesn't realize how deep his feelings for you go, he can't process them and it confuses him and frustrates him and excites him all the same.

- He originally thought you were just a passing obsession, that someday he'd get bored of you just like everything else and then leave you alone. But that day never came and it looks like it won't ever happen each day he wakes up and thinks of you as his very first thought.

- Your love, your hatred, your sadness, your happiness. He's a greedy God who wants all of it, all of you. Truly, if you have him obsessed with you, then you just have the worst luck in the universe.

Hi, I’m new in this tag kinda and new to meta-writing overall, but not only is the August brain rot really strong but one particular part of his entire character has been on my mind for a whole weekend. Please take this as mostly an offering of very spilled thoughts cause I couldn't keep them to myself anymore, LMAO. Particularly the thing that's on my brain is his guilt

I would also like to make note of and thank @ lizardthelizard And her glorious set of tags here for setting off my spiral tonight and also when she first sent them because my goodness this is truly an eye-opener. Thank you, buddy 💖

Gosh though, August’s guilt and self-criticism of himself and his actions is something that really fascinates me personally, and just thinking of it being the cause of what turns him back to wood is both mind-blowing but it just makes so much sense. He may be real because of magic but who’s to say it’s just the magical conditions that are holding him back and not the high as heck expectations that he feels were set for him and he set up for himself.

When it feels like you can't mess up sometimes it can feel like you're stuck in place Or that your screw ups means you can't change, that you're not good, that maybe you don't deserve to be considered good and that your various flaws are all that others would see you FOR!!

Maybe it's different to anxiety but idk it’s what caught my attention about him even more than what his character already offered up in s1!

He was given this like

Idea that he needs to be "Brave" and "Truthful" and "Selfless" all the time or else he cannot be human

Does it work like that? no, there's no human on EARTH that's all three of those things all the time, we've all had moments of weakness and gave in

But what does he know? Most of his life he spent on his own and as a puppet, he was expected to understand the ways of being a human and GOODNESS knows how short a time he was with his dad before he was THRUST into a world and forced once again to stand on his own two feet and expected to just, you know, know how to act once again

He's followed by expectations that he finds himself struggling to meet because he doesn't know what the limit is or how to meet them, and sometimes if not all of the times the temptations are just better and easier

And it's expected!!!

He stepped into TLWM as a child with no idea of what he’s getting into with no prior knowledge, no adult, no nothing.

But omg, he drags himself down so much about it because he can’t meet those expectations the way he would want to and because of that because literally who did he have to tell him that it's all okay? That you can make mistakes and move on from them? That you can make up for your mistakes and forgive yourself for them?

Did he have anyone at all? Cause The show sure didn't show him having anyone

We see one woman in Thailand but even after he discovers he's turning into wood she's no longer around, so like she's probably about as fleeting of a relationship as anything else

Imagine going 28 years at first ignoring all your problems and then the horror and thoughts that you’re not good enough catch up to you one morning and the more you see yourself a failure, the more you sink into that spiral the harder it feels to breathe.

Cover Iconography in Batman: The Knight

I've been wanting to make this post forever after I keep noticing new things about the B:TK artwork, so here it is! A comprehensive post of things in the Batman: The Knight covers that make me crazy beyond belief. This isn't meant to be a definitive "this is what the covers are supposed to be!" post, and is more just my interpretation of them.

The one thing about the covers is that I think is the most notable at first glance is the continuous presence of a lone bat silhouette in 9/10 of the issues. I've roughly outlined them below.

Issues #1-#9 feature some variation of a bat within them, somewhere in the background for most of them. The only instances where they appear in the foreground are in issues #1 and issue #8. (I switched #7 and #8 on accident, so if you can't see, #8 is in the bottom left corner </3) Issue #1 features a literal bat, whose ears you can just barely see peeking out at the bottom, while issue #8 creates a bat outline with the combination of blades + Bruce's face. Issue #8 is less significant than issue #1 in this aspect, because issue #1 directly links to the last issue's cover.

Issue #10 is the first and only issue to have a literal, fully-fledged bat depicted on the cover without it solely appearing in some form of a silhouette. (There's a vague bat silhouette behind it as well, but I forgot to outline it my bad LOL) Issue #1 gives us a look at a bat, perhaps the same one shown in #10's cover, and outlines Bruce's overall journey prior to becoming Batman. He's starting out in issue #1, while issue #10's cover comes full-circle and indicates that he's ready to begin his work as Batman. We're also all (hopefully) familiar with the notable Window Bat that smashed through Bruce's window and gave him the idea to be bat-themed in the first place. #10's cover is most definitely a link back to that, and it pleases me!

The second half of what makes the covers so goddamn insane to me focuses on the covers of issues #4, #5, and #6. The other 7 covers are primarily black/red, with hints of white. These three issues, however, are the opposite. They're primarily white/red, with hints of black. If you're overwhelmingly familiar with the exact content of these issues like I am, you're probably already catching on. If you haven't, then let me explain :3

Although Bruce interacts with Khoa in issues other than #4-6 (he's in #8-10 as well), those three issues effectively outline the beginning of his and Bruce's relationship. They meet in issue #4, are seen doing everything together in issue #5, and effectively "break up" in issue #6. The presence of white in these covers directly correlates to Khoa, whose color palette is white to contrast Bruce's primarily black palette, both with their regular clothing and suits.

The covers of issues #4-6 are almost overwhelmingly white, likely in a direct representation of how Bruce himself feels about Khoa; he allows himself to get close to him, and Khoa/the color white begins to bleed into his life, overwhelming Bruce/the color black. Khoa flooded every aspect of Bruce's life to the point where it got brighter in the most literal sense, with the covers becoming more white. After Khoa leaves him, Bruce states that "he's alone and his heart is shattered all over again." We see this shift in their relationship depicted directly in the following covers (#7-10), which are significantly lacking in white compared to issues #4-6.

So, TLDR; DC says Bruce Wayne doesn't like men & then goes and imply that meeting Khoa changed Bruce to the point where he saw Khoa reflected in his surroundings. This is mostly a joke but also I just genuinely cannot get over the fact that the damn covers changed just because of Khoa.

I have upgraded my membership to ruze

best 10€ I've ever spent in my entire life

the little ruzaders are everything to me

and because I can't go in depth about why their design is so good on twitter I'll be yapping here about it!

Let's begin with the general shape and shape language.

The silhouette as a whole is pretty clear. You can make out the head,what looks like horns and something extra that catches your attention(here,the tailaxe)

And Even though the ruzader has horns,they aren't super pointy and sharp,making it less aggressive and more cute.

The head too plays a role in how we perceive these little creatures. The style choice seems to be chibi,making the head almost as big as the body,with big eyes,which for our brain signals "BABY,LOOK A BABY! TAKE CARE OF IT"(it's also why we find baby animals cute. they remind us of our own babies and make our primal instincts want to protect them. This does not mean that we suddenly gain maternal instincts or something)

but the design choice of the eyes mixed in with the cat like mouth is what ties it to ruze(much like the axe tail and the color scheme). It's a supple hint at what he himself likes to use as an emoticon,which is just brilliantly incorporated into the design.

the emoticon in question is either :3c or >:3c

making the upper eyes into the 'angry eyebrows' and giving it fangs so that the mouth naturally shapes into 3 is such a smart choice! it still makes them look like little creatures that would bite you,but also it makes them look mischievous,just like the emoticon implies

The choice for the arms is also really good! Making it have two pairs of arms and thus 6 limbs to imply the more insect type inspiration caused by Ruze's fascination with bugs. Bugs in general are a but harder to make cute designs for(and I don't mean bugs like moths and butterflies,I mean other bugs. Bugs can be cute,but to make them cute for the general public is a challenge because you have to take away the fear and disgust most people feel towards them somehow,but here it was executed so well it'd look weird without the bug parts)

Now to the tail bit.

The axe is a significant design detail to crimzon ruzes model. Much more than Loraine is to GB I'd say,mostly because it is so striking in design and used for bits and jabs too at times. But incorporating it can be quite tricky. The head doesn't have anymore space for it,else it would become too crowded and noisy,the body doesn't have much space either,so the tail is the best solution!

The color scheme is simple but very effective.

using the 60-30-10 rule,where in you use one color for 60% of the design,another for 30% and the rest for the small details is a common design rule which you can see here executed quite nicely.

60% of the color on the standard ruzader is red,just like Ruze's coat

30% is blue/white

and 10% is black and gold

overall,an extremely cute design and I love them a lot

Complete Thoughts on the TDI Reboot Season 2

Well, the remaining episodes of season two are out in the wild, and since I'm snowed in today I've been able to watch them all multiple times. Now that the season is over, here are my overall thoughts on all of the characters, their plotlines, eliminations, etc. Spoilers below the cut, obviously.

First, a quick recap on everyone I talked about in my analyses of episodes one through eight.

As a Scary Girl fan it was disappointing seeing her get booted first, but understandable since at the end of the day she is mostly a gimmick character.

Chase I was glad to see go early, since his subplot with Emma had run its course and was pretty much the only thing Chase had going for him.

I wasn't too broken up about Millie going home third, since she'd already been a major character in season one. I just wish Priya had had more of a reaction to her best friend getting voted off, but more on her later.

Emma being eliminated early on was a surprise, since I thought she could get an arc of finally moving on from Chase now that she'd broken up with him for good. I guess there's always season three, if gen 4 gets one.

I have mixed feelings on Nichelle. On the one hand it was cool seeing how she'd been training in between seasons and become a much better player. On the other hand her elimination was really, really stupid. Like my least favorite of the entire season. A fake movie contract that she never even questions the validity of or even how it got there in the first place? Seriously??

Bowie was great for the few episodes he lasted. His whole subplot of being torn between MK and Julia's cheating to help them win while also not wanting to disappoint Raj made for some excellent drama in the first third of the season.

I'm also mixed on Axel and Ripper. On the one hand Axel got some depth showing that she's a bit of a romantic under her rough exterior, and Ripper was much more tolerable here than he was in season one. Unfortunately they got a major downgrade after they hooked up, being more concerned about making out than actually, you know, focusing on the competition to win a million dollars. Also Chris calling them both eliminated when Ripper grabbed Axel as the Drone of Despair was carrying her off? Yeah that was kinda cheap.

Lastly, Zee. I really enjoyed Zee, he constantly got laughs out of me. But once again, his elimination had me scratching my head because how the hell did he learn everyone's secrets in the first place? Did he walk in on everyone doing something embarrassing like with Priya kissing her pillow? Or did everyone decide that the soda stoner seemed like a trustworthy guy to share their secrets with?

And now for the final seven. And boy what a mixed bag they were.

Damien was pretty good this season. I really liked how he made an effort to compete this time around despite still being scared of pretty much everything on the island. I actually had him pegged as a potential finalist and was sad to see him go when he got outplayed by Julia stealing the Invincibility Idol out from under him.

Priya and Caleb... hooo boy, Priya and Caleb. I'll be honest, this whole season-long romantic subplot was kind of a mess. So first they had Caleb only wanting an alliance partner in Priya while she was crushing on him, only for Caleb to actually catch feelings for her, which then imploded after Zee revealed Caleb's original intentions. Then they had a whole deal with Julia manipulating both of them to try to keep them apart, and THEN they had Caleb make an alliance with Julia to save himself, which caused friction between him and Priya because Caleb doesn't wanna go back on his word?? It honestly felt like the writers were just throwing anything at the wall to see what stuck, and as a result the whole plotline felt like a tangled mess. Also this resulted in Priya getting a ton of screen time after she was already one of the main characters in season one. I can't call this the worst romantic subplot in TDI history because there have been way worse, but it also wasn't great either.

Wayne and Raj I'm also mixed on. I liked them in the first third where they opposed MK and Julia's cheating, but after that they were just kind of there. Honestly I wish they'd kept some of that animosity going into the merge and set the Hockey Bros up as season-long rivals for MK and Julia. In fact they could have used that for motivation for Wayne in the final challenge against Julia and Caleb, which would have given his ultimate victory more emotional weight. While I don't hate Wayne winning, I feel like it could've been done in a more interesting way.

Lastly, MK and Julia. These girls were easily the best part of the season for me. I loved their friendship born of mutual respect for each other's skills, to the point where MK wasn't even mad and honestly impressed when Julia pulled one over on her to get voted off. While I'm a little disappointed it didn't evolve into a full romance, I still enjoyed their friendship. Plus I feel like the seeds have been planted for a future romance if we get a third season, and overall the fandom has been given a lot to work with.

As for Julia herself, she really came into her own as an antagonist this season after sharing that role with Bowie in season one. Granted some of her methods did feel a little forced (see Nichelle and Caleb above), and it felt like there was untapped potential for a rivalry between her and the Hockey Bros, but overall I really enjoyed Julia.

And there you have it. Overall, I think I'd give this season a 6.5/10. There were a lot of elements I liked, but an equal amount of stuff I didn't enjoy. It's not as good as the best of Total Drama, but also nowhere near as bad as the worst. Personally I would love to get a new season with this cast, I feel like there's still a lot of untapped potential here.

He also makes music but he's also willing to get an outfit makeover from Brook

Will never answer the "are they together??" comments because he enjoys the chaos

Will duet cool musicians and add something to create the best music ever

Rosinante

Kind of a dad will tell stories, also make bad jokes, usually a go to page when you're sad

When he tries to make serious video everything goes wrong and he end up catching fire almost all the time

Had to ask Law why some people call him babygirl

His fyp is mostly cute things, he cries in front of cute kitten videos

Marco

Doesn't post often but when he does he breaks the internet (too hot)

He has medical videos and animals videos on his page

But contrary to Law his videos aren't traumatizing and everyone loves to learn with him

He likes to just watch his friends videos, seeing them happy make his day

He'll do everything, edits, drawings (he tries), cosplay, dance everything if it's Oden related

Will be a guest in Ace videos sometimes (for more chaos)

His most viral video is not about Oden and it's making him very sad (he tries his extra best to change it)

Robin

The historian tiktok, you learn so much thanks to her

Will also tells you about the most gruesome cold cases she knows about with a smile on her face

Her fyp is book recommendations and cute little animals

She's also a guest on Franky's page a lot, he keeps building her cool stuff

Luffy

ABSOLUTE CHAOS

Use of sounds you never heard on this app, loud and shakey camera as well

Exploration and bugs tiktoks, can't focus on a thing for more than 2 seconds but will spend 10 minutes describing his new beetle

Doesn't even understand the app but people follow him because he's funny

Hiyori

Pretty girl influencer account

Makes music and fashion content, overall not problematic

She has some male fans accusing her of taking their money without anything in exchange and she's unapologetic about it

She has a secret channel for girls to give advices on how to find and take the most money out of a sugar daddy

Iceburg

Was supposed to be the face of the Water 7 official account to show all the good things in the city

The account is almost dead

The rare posts starts normally with his secretary making a speech about the workers but Iceburg ends up making a vlog of Tyrannosaurus

Often repost miniature accounts especially with tiny rodents in them, with the official account

Buggy

Started as an hater account, but people never took him seriously

Ended up trying to make himself look cool, failed miserably as his lies has great consequences on his life (rip)

Pathetic boyfail, doesn't know if he should be happy or offended when his fangirls insult him while saying how much they love him

Attempts thirst traps, get interrupted by Alvida who gets all the attention in the comments

Mihawk

Didn't want to make an account, his (undesired) kids made one for him

Ended up spending a lot of time on it when he saw he could find useful advices and recommendations from interesting accounts

Started posting a bit without showing himself showing his favorite wines and his plant garden

Shanks recognized him anyway and he deleted his account after seeing a comment from him

Ivankov

Drag queen account

Post shows, makeup, drama and always manage to have feat with the baddest bitches

No one ever dare to criticize the queen, they fear what happened to those who tried

Virtually adopts every misfits and made a discord for them, hops in from time to time to remind them to hate the government and slay all day

Pudding

Made videos about baking and cute family moments

She was very liked as an unproblematic and caring girl

Until a video of her being awful and mean was posted and her downfall was almost immediate

Posted an apology video with tears but people still don't trust her

Whitebeard

Another dad account

Badly filmed video of his children, always trying to show them off

Will engage in dads fight to prove that his children are the best

Reposts all of their videos even the questionable ones to their dismay

Hello! I'd like to request a concept for Edward Buck from Halo if that's okay. Thank you! ^^

Focusing more on Game Canon than Book Canon in this. Hope you like it still :) My biggest issue with Halo yanderes is making them more than just protective, lol. I haven't played ODST in a bit so this is mostly from memory. If someone has ideas to makes this more "yandere", I'll take feedback.

Yandere! Edward Buck Concept

Pairing: Platonic -> Romantic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Manipulation, Paranoia, Forced retirement, Isolation, Hidden cameras, Implied forced marriage, Delusional behavior, Toxic spouse, Implied forced relationship.

Buck has quite the record on him.

Even as an ODST he was trained on Reach and took part in many Human/Covenant war events.

Not only that but after he was an ODST he joined the SPARTAN-IV program, becoming a member of Team OSIRIS.

I don't think his behavior changes between being an ODST and a Spartan.

Buck is brave and a natural leader.

Despite this he has also seen many of his fellow marines die in his line of work.

This makes him a bit brash but he still manages to always have a plan ready.

Another thing about Buck is he's stubborn and used to have a bloodlust towards the Covenant for glassing his homeworld.

Overall Buck is a great leader... which makes me think he'd have an obsession with someone on his team.

Perhaps you were part of his ODST team and he often found himself prioritizing you.

Buck's obsession can go two ways.

Maybe he still loves Dare, in that case his obsession with you is platonic.

That would make Buck just see you as a close friend, one he wants to protect.

Then there's is he doesn't hold feelings for Dare anymore, in that case his obsession is romantic.

Now he still wants to protect you... but he also wants to also make you his spouse.

His obsession starts as an ODST with you being part of Alpha-Nine.

Even while training you Buck finds himself impressed by your skill set.

He finds you pleasant to talk to and that's when his obsession takes root.

Despite training on Reach, Buck hasn't gone through Spartan enhancements like Master Chief.

Which makes him fully capable of experiencing the full range of emotions.

Even more than The Rookie also on your team.

Imagine if Buck gets attached to you... then you're separated during the New Mombasa attack.

He's already busy enough trying to piece Alpha-Nine back together.

Now he is slowly trying to come to terms with the fact you're missing.

Meanwhile you're in another area, probably accidentally finding The Rookie in the process.

By the time Buck finishes wiping out Covenant forces he always thinks back to you.

He doesn't want to fail you as a leader....

He doesn't understand how he got so attached to you.

But now here he is, panicking because you aren't in his sight... fearing the worst.

Although, near the end of the Battle of Mombasa, Buck and Dare meet up with you again.

Buck never thought he'd see you again, his obsession growing more once he sees you okay.

He holds himself back from just hugging you or doing something more, focusing on the mission.

But safe to say this is where his obsession really takes root.

For the most part, as most UNSC in Halo would be, Buck is a protective yandere.

He is capable of both platonic and romantic feelings towards you.

It would surprise him if he suddenly felt romantic attraction towards you at first.

He first met Dare, but now he's attached to you.

He catches up with you after the events of the war, definitely.

Especially when you both are assigned to the SPARTAN-IV program.

Before going into rigorous training together you both manage to have casual conversation.

Maybe he keeps it friendly, respecting you as his teammate and perhaps even a best friend.

Or maybe Buck takes his chances, flirting with you and praising you for getting this far.

No matter his intentions, Buck feels responsible for you as your leader.

Even if you both have Spartan training and become Spartans, he never seems to part from you.

Why?

The events of New Mombasa echo in his head.

It reminds him of how easily he could lose you.

Even with energy shields and heavy armor, Spartans aren't invincible.

Buck seems like the type of person to convince you to drop out of the program.

He doesn't necessarily doubt your skills, but he has his fears.

He'd rather you retire from fighting and return to civilian life on an inner colony.

He'll keep fighting to keep you safe, but he just doesn't wish to lose you.

He's not necessarily possessive but does "take claim" to you in a way around others.

Maybe he really does eventually feel his feelings are romantic.

Afterwards he wants to keep you in a home away from all the fighting.

In that case he tries to convince you to not only date him but become his spouse.

Maybe you accept? He's a good guy... right?

He might even rush the relationship a bit.

He just wants to marry you and protect you.

Like a good man should, no?

He hates it when you protest against him.

He is definitely the type to say "This is for your own good."

He will fight with you (verbally) to get you to give up being a Spartan.

Eventually he'll have you settle down somewhere and he'll visit you when he can.

He doesn't want you to cheat on him so he probably has cameras or something to monitor you.

He expects his spouse to be loyal, after all.

He does all this to protect you.

But don't worry! When he visits you he'll smother you in affection.

Sometimes too much affection with the amount he kisses you.

Even becoming a Spartan hasn't affected his drive towards you.

After all, he doesn't have the enhancements/augmentations older SPARTAN-IIs do.

I'm not sure if he'd keep you locked in the home or not.

Theoretically he might and just have food and necessities delivered to you.

Buck definitely calls you as often as he can.

Dare wonders if she's dodged a bullet due to seeing how obsessive Buck is over you.

She even tries to ask Buck about it, making Buck immediately shut her down.

"I'm doing this for their protection, they're happy with me. What are you trying to do, take them from me?"

Buck's obsession starts showing through cracks in his personality.

Poor you barely gets to go outside when he's gone and he calls so often.

Buck gets worried when you don't answer his calls.

If he isn't in the middle of a huge mission, he'll probably even go to check on you.

Eventually Buck leaves Team OSIRIS and reforms Alpha-Nine.

But you don't join.

No, now after the Cortana conflict he stays with you much more often.

The good news is you can go outside now.

The bad news is you no longer have privacy.

Buck isn't a yandere to kill humans.

Not unless they push him.

So for the most part he is like a helicopter spouse, never leaving you alone and smothering you with affection.

After all... he's been away from you for too long...

It's about time you two catch up, right? Isn't that what good spouses should do with each other?
