I remember I think that you said you enjoyed Bon Voyage season 4 the most in terms of enjoying the Taekook content. Why did you enjoy this season the most?

I like season four, but not for the Taekook content. I said that despite what people say, there is Taekook in BV4. You just have to be observant and look for it, and there's more than you think.

BV1 probably has the most unfilitered Taekook Content, BV4 has the most filtered (i.e. it's there but you have to look for it). So in order of filtered/unfiltered it goes like this for me...

BV1 - It felt like every part of the trip was stage managed within an inch of it's life, but we got quite a bit of TK content.

BV2 - Whilst staged/structure very heavily there were moments outside of this, particularly the boys playing music, shooting MVs, dancing and generally just having fun in the outdoor mall. Some TK content, mostly in the beginning and Helicopter ride.

BV3 - Aside from Ep. 4 (where we got TK in a room/double bed and being all homely), we got more content from Malta from photo drops and Redbull, where we see JK and Tae out and about without the rest of the group.

BV4 - edited to limit TK but if you really look you can still see it.

If I were to order my preference, I'd say my favourite to least is...

BV3

BV1

I really liked BV4 despite the TK editing by BH because it felt less stage managed and controlled by the managers than in previous seasons. BV1 & 2 felt like more expensive RUN BTS episodes. BV3 moved away from this, though it still had its moments and BV4 took this even further and was probably the pre-curser to 'In The Soop'.

And of course In the Soop (both seasons) feature Taekook a lot.

#i see your messages and i'll answer them i promise!#the thing is at first i took a break from everything for a few days (and ofc the boys went to the military on these days exactly!)#then i tried to use my new laptop and i don't like it #i don't like how the colors look on it (evn tho they were calibrated) so i can't make gifs from it #so maybe i'll sell it and try to buy a proper pc #and also my cat didn't feel well these days #as usually last week of vacation and i am literally a hamster in a wheel nothing new x)#but in the meantime i finished bv3 #and as much as i liked it the scene with jin who was left alone in the bar brought back some painful memories i was literally shaking #so this season gave me mixed and bittersweet feelings in general (at least they gave me yoonjin date)#but now i'm catching up on run bts and i just finished the blue village and it was even more fun than i expected #but both parts of golden bell are my favorites for now😁#hope y'all are doing better than me💖 i miss you guys

Just finished reading your Bon Voyage 3 ask and I wanted to enquire about a moment Vkookers claim for themselves. So when V comes late they've all picked rooms and JK is on his own. According to Vkookers JK signaled V to choose his room. (Not sure how) Seems like that's what happened though coz RM then goes "it was your idea to not tell him anything" or something like that. Is that how you perceived the situation while you were watching? Would love your take on it 😊

The way that shippers all take the same moment and make it about their ship is FASCINATING to me. I've seen theories about this exact same moment where it's about confirming vmin, vkook and taejin.... fascinating truly. The only one that I think don't just sound.... well over analyzing everything. Are vminnies. I'll give them this one. Because vmin flat out said it themselves. Lol

This was episode 4 of season 3 of BV. Tae had just arrived late and was picking his room. The very first door he opened was going to be his room. Yoongi had just left, so now the rooms at this point were jinmin in one room, namseok in another and JK had a room to himself. When they get back to the house, Tae starts asking questions and trying to get hints. He asked if the rooms had a bathroom. They answered those 2 do, and this one doesn't and uses the Hall bathroom.

JK ends up slipping and gives away a roommate hint. They (vague motions to 94z) use that bathroom when talking about the hall as a correction about they all have to share that bathroom. We (the others) do not. So Tae then goes oh got it. And JK looks minorly disappointed with himself when RM teases him about giving away hints and he realized that he did in fact, give away hints.

Tae then goes upstairs and starts trying to peep through the window, to see whose stuff is in the room and if he can guess who he would room with that way and narrow it down even more. Lol he walks nack down the stairs saying that Jimins stuff wasn't in that room, so that one isn't his. Lol which Jimin then jumps up going "OH you wanted to share with me??" Which Tae confirms, yes, he does

So Tae is over here trying to scheme his way into getting hints about which room is Jimins so that he can stay with his soulmate. Lol Jimin then cracks himself up laughing by pointing upstairs and telling him to go in there. Tae confirms and asks more. Jimin just laughs and laughs. Probably because he is giving it away and Tae doesn't believe him. Thinks he is joking or something. I don't even know

And then Tae opens JKs door with a flourish! And looks very confused to not find Jimins belongings in there. Lol everyone tells him he failed (at Finding Jimins room) Hobi congratulates JK on sharing his room with Tae and JK just goes "no" and looks disappointed at losing his single room. Lol

So to me, it looks like Tae went in there with the hope to share a room with Jimin and didn't want to end up with Namseok as they had the smallest, most crowded room with no bathroom. He ended up getting a good room with good space to share. But not what his goal was, so he "failed" and i don't think JK was signaling hints to get Tae into his room since he was super pumped at not having to share and then lowkey disappointed at no longer having the bed to himself. I think he was just answering bathroom questions more honestly than he had anticipated. He was trying to be sneaky and wasn't good at it 🤣 Jimins giggles give me life. Vmin reunited and he just wanted some soulmate roommate time. Lol

But they were all cute and taekook roomed so nicely together. JinMin got the best deal in the end with those big beds to themselves even if they shared a room 🤣

Hii!!

So I went on that holiday I talked about ages ago & I fell in love (but not like with a person, well that yes too as in crush, but that's not the point).

So I went to Malta & I knew very little of it so I was so scared of getting bored cause I thought that since it's small it wouldn't have many things to do, but boy was I wrong, I was up and going until the last day. I fell in love with Malta so hard. It was so freaking beautiful & accessible & safe.

I also went to a hostel & that was the best desition of my life, I met many people & they were all so cool & nice. I missed travelling like this.

Anyways for now it's back to work like normal, I can wait until I go to Paris for my bday 😊

1108: Facts and observations

•Day 0

1108 started on the 8th of November of 2015.

Jimin uploaded a video of him and Jungkook to twitter:

On the 26th of January 2016, Jk uploaded a small snippet of a song he was covering.

•Day 100

And on the 15th of February of 2016, Jk uploaded the entire song Nothing Like Us and noted to listen to the lyrics as they were expressing what he wanted to say:

In Korean culture, parents celebrate 100 days after a child is born. This is to indicate that the child made it through the first vulnerable phase in their life. In the same manner, the 100 days are celebrated by Korean couples.

And this is what Jk had to say 100 days after the 8th of November of 2015:

On 08/11/2016, a year later, Jimin posted another video of them:

On Oct. 28, 2017, Jungkook treated Jimin to a trip to Tokyo. It was because of this trip, that Jungkook released gcfTokyo on Nov. 08, 2017.

On the 25th of April 2018, a day before the 900 day milestone, Jimin had a vlive where it was obvious he wasn't alone in the room. He kept looking to the side, laughing shyly and explained:

On August 3rd 2018, Jk posted a selfie while they were all filming BV3:

On the 26th of October 2022, Jk uploaded a photo of himself while he was in Qatar. He uploaded the photo at 11:08 Korea time and, 5:08 Qatar time.

•Day 2643

On the 2nd of February 2023, Jimin answered a question on weverse at exactly 23:08. The question is now deleted.

•Day 2684

During Jungkook hosted a series of lives on White Day, 14th of March 2022. His first live was started at 8:11 pm:

During these lives, Jk changed to various outfits and had an extensive playlist. One of the songs that was included was There For You.

•Day 2855

On the 1st of September 2023, Jk hosted a short live to thank the fans for being present with him during so many birthdays. He ended his live quickly and it lasted 8:56 minutes:

My impressions

Based on Korean customs, celebrating different day milestones is typical in a Korean couple.

While some may think that jikook started dating on the 8th of November 2015, I think that's when they decided to be intimate with each other.

I feel like a jikook kiss had already happened since the last time Jimin asked Jk for a kiss publicly was in September 2015 for Jk's birthday. From there, one can only think that things proceeded quite quickly.

I think that in recent years, we have observed less mentions of 1108 because of BTS' popularity and so many fans expecting something from jikook.

It's possible that jikook has decided to not make these milestones known like they did before, but every now and then, they still reference that number. Who knows when they will do it again.

Those little touches that scream intimacy

Skinship is a thing.

BTS show physical affection with each other, they hold, hug, touch each other in ways that would perhaps raise an eyebrow for some, but within their cultural context are not a sign of ‘more’ than friendly affection and closeness. Although, I do have to say that BTS do stretch the boundaries on that one too. Some of the touchy feely is beyond what you would expect it to be among grown male friends in Korea as well. But they did grow up together, in a sense, and although it’s a little more than usually accepted, it still is not an indication to anything more than a very close friendship.

But JM and JK, they have these moments. Two types of suspicious moments.

These moments when they pull back on the touching, the almost touching or touching but just... barely. Those moments where you are sitting there and screaming at the screen (in your mind) “fucking touch him already”, which presents as highly suspicious considering how close those two are on the one hand and how tactile they are on the other.

And then you have these moments where it’s more, it’s suspicious, it’s not something that you would expect between just friends.

So I thought I would put bring together, in one post, some of these moments.

Moments they do something, touch, almost touch, behave in a way that makes you go “this doesn’t look like something ‘just a friend’ would do”, or “heck, those two must be really intimate for this to be happening”.

I guess I started with a big one. What is it they say? Go big or go home? Whatever JM was doing there with his wiggly wiggle finger during that interview was not something just between friends. It just wasn't.

BV1 footsies

No matter how close you are with your friend, him playing footsies with your crotch is not something you would allow him to do, well unless if you are not "just friends".

BV2 footsies

Here it's JK's reaction. If it was ok for a "friend" to play footsies, if said footsy playing did absolutely nothing for him, we wouldn't be seeing that reaction from him. That gulp. Man. He was hit hard, probably in the full sense of the word, lol.

Less about JK's toesies just lightly touching JM's leg and more about the physical reaction the two of them had that followed. Suffice to say that the room was getting real hot for the two (which is also why JK running to put on a big covering coat was pretty funny).

Do we need to explain here?

It's not only the fact that JM is touching JK in these more intimate areas, it's the lack of reaction (well almost lack of reaction...there are those reactions that you just can't help) from JK.

No matter how much people will try to twist this up, it takes a special level of intimacy to take someone's sweaty dirty ear into your mouth and suck on it, for 4 seconds straight. And then end it all with a light kiss on the ear.

I guess this one is a given too. I've heard the stories about brotherly neck sucking and nope, I do not buy that. Not one bit. No matter how the story is told, JM put his mouth on JK's neck, exactly where JK's mole happens to be, and sucked on it hard enough to bruise it. Yep. Not something you do with a "just friend".

It's about being used to be in that kind of proximity. Muscle memory. The lack of an initial reaction, and only pulling away at the very end. And it's not for a skit or game. It's all them. That smirk on JK's face in the 2019 TMA's and the BV2 moments, priceless.

JK just moving that pesky crop top aside to caress JM’s waist/hip skin on skin, a little smirk on his face when he moves in, JM mostly non reacting although if you do look closely you can see a tiny little smile there towards the end when JK starts playing with his fingers on his bare skin. This screams of two people who are physically intimate.

Hi, Peach! I'm relatively new to the fandom and I tried to avoid shipping part of it bc I'm Jungkook biased and it's annoying how he's shipped with virtually every single person on this planet but I got swept by how whipped he seems with Jimin and now I'm inevitably a Jikooker stan too.

I'm currently watching BV2 and there was this clip of Jimin playing footsies with Kook that I came across a long time ago and I thought it was taken out of context, but now that I'm watching original content, Kook's reaction kinda got me wondering if it's not actually edited to appear something other than what it is (but to be fair, this is the reason I'm a Jikook and not a Taekook stan, most of Jikook content isn't edited, they're just unhinged like that). There also seems to be a similar situation in BV3 between Jikook, and I'm curious to what other people think about it, so I came here bc I like sensible Jikook/ot7 blogs.

Have you maybe seen theories ab these scenes and what do you think of them?

I would hardly call this a "sensible jikook/ot7 blog" btw... just setting expectations lol.

You know one of my favourite things about Bon Voyage 3 is that you can very clearly see how much closer jikook have become in a year, because it's such a good contrast compared to how they were in Bon Voyage 2. Jikook are even more all over each other in BV3, we see them stay behind on the boat to have the moon scene, we get 'together bam', and honestly too many sweet moments to count. Jikook in 2018 were like nothing I'd seen nor have seen since. Everything that happened after BTS decided in 2018 to fuck it all and do BTS, the year that perhaps coincidentally, jikook became undeniably closer on a deeper and more obvious level, everything that's happened since then feels like a given.

Including jikook signing up to do their military service via the buddy program, to return by Festa 2025.

Anyway, I digress.

I'm not really sure what the theories are, about the scenes you're referring to. Here, I'd like to refer you to @stormblessed95 - she's great at knowing stuff about jikook and she keeps better tabs on them than I do. Because personally, I don't think there's much to theorize about beyond the fact that jikook give each other footsies and sometimes do it on camera. It's kinda nsfw. In fact it most likely is nsfw. But jikook are always jikooking, and so here we are.

In fact, hold up, correct me if I'm wrong but haven't jikook given each other footsies in every single BV? Because we get some foot action in BV 4 as well (and in my opinion that's the funniest and most embarrassing one for JK I'm sorry to say. Like I full on howled when I first noticed it. The poor lad was helpless.

Jimin is vicious y'all...)

Anyway, I'm sorry anon but there's no "sensible or ot7" way to say this: jikook kinda play footsies sometimes and sometimes the cameras catch their antics.
