They have now discovered another underlying infection in my system, as well as a questionable stone lodged in the neck of my gallbladder which is what has at times felt like an 👽 was trying to break out of my ribs and as though I have a torn/injured (as well as cholelithiasis which we already knew but hadn't posed a problem before), as well as a dilated common bile duct. Pre-Op is tomorrow. #Cholestectomy surgery is Monday. 🙏🏼 ECG has also uncovered a septal infarct meaning I may have already had a heart attack and didn't know it. These are most generally caused by lack of blood flow to the heart during a hear attack. My BP has been wildin out even with meds as high as nearly 200/140 at rest . Follow up #Mammogram showed right breast may not just be dense with #benign growths as its changing ---- so following up on that, too. I then saw in my point of view, the different choices I could take whilst I felt the summer blazing hot against my skin. It is summertime in 2023, it's also the time I have to make this decision.

As I scanned through each choice, I felt a connection.

A connection to this strand...

STEM.

I read this passage to myself...

STEM, knowledge meant for students getting ready for college, infused with learnings to prepare the students in the real-life world. A strand that is heavily focused on its acronym: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics to further develop the skills of the pupils in their desired careers.

"That is... interesting," I mumbled to myself.

As I interacted and let this feeling of connection flow, I got excited.

It caused me to ask around if this strand was a good choice for me. I am glad that my family accepts it.

There. My decision is now concrete. I'll do my best to be a part of this strand.

And days flew by, as the days and nights shift, I finally can see myself, sitting in a classroom.

I feel accepted.

I feel like I am where I belong.

All of my hard works paid off, I am finally a STEM student.

I will do my best to continue to be one.

My learnings, I hope it'll flourish more as I am staying in this strand.

Entry 101523: My thoughts on STEM

These past few days were good. I am glad that I picked this strand because the learnings I've sought back in my highschool years, gladly helped me understand some concepts that are being discussed this year!

But, I do feel like STEM, this strand is like a broad forest in a way that both subjects use a lot of formulas and equations, aimed to understand the world, its processes, and different phenomenons to be studied with the help of numbers and equations.

I do know that the STEM strand heavily focuses on Science and Mathematics. This idea made me choose the STEM strand as it makes me be aware and familiar to the world of Science and Mathematics. Based on my research, STEM has a lot of subjects related to logical-reasoning and problem solving skills for students to think critically (Yeti Academy, 2023).

I also would like to add that for this strand, I hope that it'll help me prepare for the real-life situations in the future, in my possible careers, and make me a better version of myself.

That's all for now. I think I'll try to write more of my thoughts about STEM in the future..
