Kissing ass ~ Orion and Justin

The walk from his suite to the dungeon classroom took only a minute, so Orion found himself in the room before Justin and stowed a few bottles of potions in the drawer of his desk. He wore the dark robes of a professor, but with green and silver piping along the edges. Underneath, he favored deep emerald green trousers and and a black button down shirt that stretched across his back, chest and biceps. The candlabras that lit the room flickered slightly brighter as he settled into his chair, hands steepled and thick thighs spread in relaxation as he waited for the younger man's arrival..

Five more minutes.....five more minutes....five more minutes.....Those five minutes had a way of adding up. Ernie was working on some last-minute touches on an article that was going to be in next week's Prophet, despite the fact he should have been cleaning up the apartment for when his friend, Justin arrived. Now he had about thirty seconds to cram all that prep into as the other was making his way up to the apartment. Grabbing clothes he was throwing them into his bedroom and swinging the door shut when he heard the knocking. Heading towards the door, he noticed an ink smudge on his face, and quickly licking his finger wound up still trying to wipe it off as he opened the door.

"Justin! I'm pretty sure you're early! Didn't we agree on an hour from now?" Looking at the wall clock, he knew that the other was right on time. "Please excuse.....just about everything. I have a big piece going out next week, and well.....it's been taking up most of my time." Still wiping at his face. "Have I gotten the ink off yet?"

id love to see how you redesign the thunder legion!

Thunder Legion are another group I actually enjoy design wise. But here's my pass at them in my style! I did post evergreen before but she should be with the group.

I didn't want to alter too much. Bickslow's design fits in with who he is and is distinct from other characters. My sister is a massive Laxus fan and would've burned me at the stake for changing too much, though I will admit I like every outfit he gets so no complaints here. Fried is similarly consistent in his looks but he still stands out which I didn't want to mess with more than necessary. And evergreen really just needs to be more tacky like she was in the original arc.

It is fun to figure out how characters would alter/fit in to my ideas for a rewrite.

Bonus: chico, because her magic was wasted by Mashima's knack for giving cool powers to characters he never fleshed out.

He didn't know what to say.

In the dim light of his room, as Justin lifted his head from where it rested against his knees and stared, Didi's face was shrouded in shadow. Her expression and the look in her eyes were impossible for Justin to decipher, and yet he detected in both her words and her tone a sense of vulnerability that he had rarely known her to exhibit before.

Throughout time, the pair had become more... intimate, if you could call it that. Her frequent forays into his room on an evening were more social interaction than Justin had ever had at home, and so he had welcomed them with open arms. The days turned into weeks, turned into months, and, despite both his better judgement and every instinct in his body screaming at him in protest, he actually began to like Didi. He began to truly believe that what she had done for him, while terribly misjudged, might just have been one of the best things that had happened to him. She wasn't exactly a good person. Far from it. But she was a friend, and that was more than anyone had ever been to him before.

After allowing himself a moment to process her words, Justin slowly sat up, pulling himself to sit on the edge of the bed, so he could see her more clearly. He wanted to get up and cross the room to her side, to touch her hand in comfort, but he felt he had to move cautiously. He didn't want to spook her, not when she had finally allowed her walls to lower.

"I know exactly what you mean," he replied, with a slight laugh. "Because, as much as I don't want it to be true, that's kind of how I feel about this place." He paused, tilted his head, stared intently at her. "Do- do you want to talk about anything?"

idk if this is a popular take or not but... rick prime is like. a time traveller, right???

hear me out pls bc i know the creators have basically said there's no way they're ever doing a time travel plot but things change. rnm was meant to be a sitcom and now it's basically serialised and taking itself seriously while doing so. things could've changed in the writers room. and i don't like scratching possibilities off without reason.

he looks unchanged since his debut appearance while our rick has visibly aged as you'd expect.

then in the s6 finale, rick says that all the dots that popped up aren't all the places he Could be, but all the places he Is. which clearly implies some level of major fuckery on prime's end. i'm leaning towards time travel as the explanation, like for some reason he went back and forward a bunch. maybe even to stop our rick who knows? but then it might be because he has a bunch of clones and stuff that appeared on the radar? who knows just kinda spitballing.

and i think that the idea of prime going back in time to exactly the moment where rick was doing a radar scan for his location is very on brand. like he would absolutely do that just to fuck w rick. he's *very sneaky*.

and i'd be remiss to mention his regenerative abilities. we've never seen anything like it in the show before. it's possible his tech is so much more advanced than our rick's and that this allowed his aging to halt or slow down greatly. which would begin to debunk the time travel theory, but wouldn't explain why he was found in a bunch of different places at once.

so yeah that's my theory. we don't have all the pieces yet ive just been thinking ab this a lot.
