Someone really decorated this 1882 Italianate Victorian in Alameda, California. It has 3bd, 1ba, and lists for $2.5M (gee, and not even 1.5ba).

Isn't this lovely? The wall & ceiling paper in this room are beautiful. It's small as far as sitting rooms go, but it has a gorgeous original fireplace and I don't even mind the pretty carpet instead of wood floors.

The room next to the sitting room is a home office and the decor matches.

Very inviting dining room.

The hall looks a little dull, but if you look closely, the painted details and original newel post and railing are highlights for the gracefully curving stairs.

2nd fl. hall to the bedrooms and bath.

As per usual, with these costly homes, they show very little of the inside, but if you want to watch the video on the realtor's website, they will give you a glimpse of the kitchen and a bedroom.
