Bode Donovan: I have to believe that if I work this program that I can succeed but I... I can't do it here!
Manny Robles: And why is that?
Bode Donovan: This is my hometown, I left for a reason.
Here’s everything you need to know about Fire Country, CBS's upcoming firefighter drama starring Max Thieriot and Kevin Alejandro -> https://tvshowpilot.com/pilot-watch/cbs/fire-country/
Writer 1: fuck. We can't let them out. What can we do?
Writer 2: we can get Bode to test positive for drugs even though he is the one who asked for the drug test and turned in the guy selling the drugs. It totally makes perfect sense that Bode would ask for a drug test even though he would fail. It would go over the Cap's head and it is totally true that Bode would do any of this crap days before his parole hearing. Totally.
Writer 3: we can keep Freddy in the camp by making it take forever to get an innocent man out of jail. We can say that the paper work will take the exact length as his prison sentence. We totally make sure Eve, the fire cracker that she is, doesn't go to the media over this. because surely, the headline: "Black man falsely imprisoned for a crime he did not commit and due to backlog, he won't get released until the end of his sentence" won't cause an uproar. But ssshhhh
Im back with another late post for y'all tehe 🤭but anyways if y'all have any requests on what y'all wanna see me post leave it in the comments or message me I love hearing y'all's feedback :)
There are no updates from official sources. Cal Fire finally added the fire to their incident page today but offers no information about it.
The FireMappers map gives some insight into the location of the fire relative to access roads. There are dirt roads for off road vehicles going through the area, so the fire was probably set by someone on the ground.
The emergency response began almost as soon as the fire was "sparked" on Wednesday morning. (This is consistently the word used by the few news sources that covered the wildfire.) The start time was a decisive 7:30am on Wednesday morning. The fire was dealt with quickly and using extreme measures with several helicopters coming and going with water at any given time and enormous and unnerving (and silent) air tankers circling the fire at low altitude. There were smaller planes circling the fire too. I did not see any of these planes actually drop any substances at any time, but that is the stated purpose of such craft.
At this point only questions remain as to the cause of the fire. The main agency in charge of the firefighting effort was US Forest Service. Cal Fire refers to their site, but they offer even less information than Cal Fire.
Chicago fire touched on this a bit last season with Mason, but Fire Country got me thinking.
Sure, these inmates get time off from their sentence and money for being inmate firefighters, but when they get out, all that experience and knowledge is useless to them. They should get a chance to be firefighters on the out side.
They are putting their lives on the line, and yet, they get harshly judged when they are released.
