cats are literally so amazing. like, there was a time where i didn't like cats but i had literally hardly met any cats, i didn't know how cool they were. i thought they were like dogs but scarier.

but my cats are literally such sweethearts. once you get to know a cat the experience is just magical. they're such sweet little guys and i wish i could tell every cat in the world that its existence is appreciated, loved, and adored.

all of them are so amazing. the hairless ones, the ones with tons of hair, the ones with medium hair, all of them are so lovely. medium cats, big cats, tiny cats, all of them are just so precious and adorable. all cats are so awesome and i'll never stop loving them because they're just so amazing.

I think cats are like toddlers.

No, really. Think about it.

They have Impulses™ more than they have thoughts. They often have emotions too big for their tiny bodies. They often get frustrated because they're clearly trying to communicate something but you don't understand their language. They'll get sudden bursts of energy and you just stand there watching them, thinking, "I didn't think it was possible for someone your size to do that...".

They always seem to need a nap, and love doing the exact opposite of what you told them to. They love knocking things over and sitting where they're not supposed to. They can be really shy of strangers, but once you feed them they're friends for life (or at least until you try to take them to get shots).

They see themselves as fully independent, but also demand all of your attention 24/7. They'll follow you everywhere, even if it's just across the room. They will lick everything, including themselves. If you don't give them something in the EXACT way they want it, they will have a breakdown. They can be pretty temperamental so you get the people who don't want to have them, but you eye with suspicion anyone who loudly delclares that they hate them.
