This is like the third ask this week that's given me deja vu

Celonia had been taught as she grew up how she should act properly in any social situation, and loved attending those kinds of social functions. She became very well-known very young.

While she doesn’t often host herself, it’s known in her circles that any function would be a success if she was in attendance. Not to mention, she enjoys herself greatly at those.

Celonia knows how to act in any given situation, and often is envied because of it. She doesn’t mind this, but also is fine with being treated like any other of her classmates.

She’s generally a delightful person, but she does have a bit of a ruthless side that not many people know about. Usually when she’s mean, she expresses it in incredibly subtle ways.

There are a lot of people in her social circles that look up to how poised she is, but she has to work hard to relate to her classmates because of how she was raised in those circles.

I do wonder why they used Chalmers instead of Rhint Celonias. I figured the writers would have pounced on the fact that Alisa was dating a younger guy, not to mention the drama that came with him being a bounty head.

Yeah, but Rhint doesn't have a brotherhood with Jet. I think it's pretty apparent that they were trying to have Jet's story with Alisa and Chalmers more blatantly parallel Vicious, Spike, and Julia's story; for example, when Spike talks to Jet in Tharsis and asks if he'd put a bullet in Chalmers's head. The writing is supposed to make you think Spike is putting Vicious in Chalmers's place, accusing Vicious of stealing Julia in the same way Chalmers 'steals' Alisa. But upon reaching the end and rewatching, I think it's supposed to click that Spike is conflating himself with Chalmers in that situation. He's asking Jet what he would do to confirm his suspicions about Vicious; he wants to know for sure if the only way to be free of Vicious's pursuit is to kill him. He wants to know what Jet, who has been betrayed by Chalmers in the same way Spike betrayed Vicious, would do if he had the chance to right that wrong, and grows unsettled when he realizes that Vicious ought to pursue him relentlessly. He then attempts to scare Vicious into stopping this pursuit with his... gun show. This parallel wouldn't have worked with Jet and Rhint, since they don't have that same brotherhood and in fact Jet doesn't even know about Rhint. So I get it- we miss out on Rhint and that kinda sucks. But we do get to use Jet's relationship with his wife and Chalmers as an allegory for the relationship between Spike, Vicious, and Julia- and as something that would conceivably have a much better resolution than S V & J.
