Dragon Audrey n Chaddy boi

once again i was commissioned by the wonderful, amazing, sweetheart @c-rose2081~ who asked me to draw up her post d3 dragon Audrey and Chad design, they were so fun to draw and i LOVE how this turned out!!! Audrey's pose alone is so fucking asidhauishda to me and I'm so happy with this!!! i love how her hair turned out too, esp her lil tail tuft too, its so fluffyyyy

Audrey doesn’t sleep well most of the time. She’s an insomniac, up at weird hours of the night unable to settle her demons. Chad never minds being her pillow for a while, as she sleeps best with someone nearby.

Since everyone is talking about Chad again bcoz of the D4 casting (even though in my mind there's no way any canon versions of Ella and Charming could raise him like that) so here are some of my thoughts on it...

Chad is adopted. Perhaps he was even adopted only a few years before D1, so his personality had quite a long time to form on its own without the guidance of Ella and Charming

He plays the role of the perfectly charming prince at home but only acts like an arrogant asshole at school. In D1 Jay mocks all the stuck up prim and proper princes but Chad definitely doesn't fit that bill. Maybe that was a conscious decision on his part, when he realized how easy it was to boss the other boys around

Chad was usually a very sweet boy but the attitude change was recent. The royal families all send their kids out for the summer to live with a different royal family, and Chad got sent to live with Belle and the Beast. He picked up quite a few things from king Adam over summer break

Of course none of this matters anyway bcoz I'm guessing they either 1) will ignore Chad completely and barely even mention him by name in this movie, or 2) it's a new timeline where Chad never even existed in the first place lolz

Warning: Not Chad friendly

Part of the reason I dislike Chad Charming is that I feel he has a huge grudge on Ben. And I think a part of that grudge is him being upset with Ben not patching things up with Audrey, in fact I kinda feel that’s what he is saying when he yells “yeah, especially for you!!!” at him in D3.

And while I understand that was not exactly Ben’s best moment, of all the people in the series, *Chad Charming* is not in any kind of position to call him out. Chad literally led on Evie and set her up to take a fall *with malicious intent* and it is stated in School of Secrets that he was dating *11 girls at the same time*.

Sorry, but this guy is just a huge hypocritical douche for hating Ben for something he did *under a spell* that he himself did on purpose.

If anyone’s interested, I could actually make a whole post about the issues I find with his character, that don’t just end at the surface ones the movies make clear (surface issues being him being a player, being a cheat, him literally being a misogynistic pig etc).

Summer Skipping

There are a lot of reasons Auradon seniors have to be in summer school. For Audrey and Chad, they are taking Remedial Goodness classes with FG under Ben’s royal order. For Jane, her perfect academic record collapsed after losing Carlos, leading to a report card full of failures and missing credits that kept her from graduating on time.

With better things to do and a beautiful day before them, Audrey makes the executive decision to skip (just this once), taking Jane along for the ride. And, after so much heartbreak and grief, maybe Audrey’s touch of bad influence is just what she needs to begin healing.

The first stop? RoyalMart for some much needed snacks and picnic supplies. Chad is behind the camera snapping this pic of his Princess and her best friend, you know, for Instagram.
