This piece takes you on at trip through central Siberia, from the throat-singing peoples and beautiful mountains in the south to the arctic tundra and deep shamanic traditions of the north.

This was my biggest project of 2023. I wrote this piece and an essay as my final degree project in composition, all about Siberian indigenousgroups and their music.

MAKSAD Oda Orkestramızı Şef, Dr. Samir Gülahmedov yönetmişti. Kemanda Dr. Samir Gülahmedov, şanda ise Tenor Şenol Talınlı ve Mezzosoprano Aydan Genç’in duygu yüklü solo ve düetlerine ilave olarak CODA Academy Çocuk Korosunun enerjisi ile yeni yılda sanat adına umutlu bir başlangıç yapmaya çalışmıştık.

AKM Tarık Akan Salonunu dolduran seyircimizin coşkusu, bu umudumuzun artmasına neden olmuştu.

Ancak bir süre sonra etkisi altına gireceğimiz Pandemi, sanatı ve sanatçıları dijital alana mahkum edecekti. SANATLA KALALIM

LAST YEAR TODAY, WE PERFORMED ANOTHER ONE OF OUR TRADITIONAL NEW YEAR CONCERTS.

MAKSAD Chamber Orchestra was conducted by Conductor Dr. Samir Gülahmedov. We tried to make a hopeful beginning for the new year in the name of art with the solo violin by Dr. Samir Gülahmedov, the emotionally loaded solo and duets by Tenor Şenol Talınlı and Mezzosoprano Aydan Genç, and with the addition of the energy of CODA Academy Children's Choir.

The enthusiasm of our audience who filled the AKM (ACC) Tarık Akan Hall caused this hope to increase.

Nevertheless, the Pandemi, which we were going to enter under its domain soon, was going to sentenced art and artists to the digital space.
