New #illustration today! 💭Background It‘s the last week of #chameleoncommunitychallenge from @chameleon_art_products and I wanted to participate. The theme was the chameleon effect and what would fit better than a #color changing #chameleon ?! For me #art is a great opportunity to express feelings, emotions and to bring color in your life. This is what chameleons do too by changing their color. And with art you can make your life colorful, that‘s why my chameleon changes it‘s environment here. 🎨 Materials and methods (includes non-paid advertisement) For this #drawing I did a #sketch with a #pencil for the chameleon and the tree where it‘s sitting on. This time I did the #sketching directly on paper suited for #alcoholmarkers . Then I did the #outlines with the chameleon #fineliners and with a black #decotime #aquamarkers . Both are waterbased which is important to work well with alcoholmarkers . Any leftover pencil lines I erased and than I started #coloring with the #chameleoncolortones and the #chamleoncolortops (you could also use any other alcohol based marker, I just use these because I love the blending mechanism). Next I added some detail with the fineliners on top. Later I did the background with the black aquamarker in freestyle by #doodeling . To add just a hint of color for the background I used the #chameleonfineliners and #lineart to fill in. I made sure to use similar fineliner colors near the chameleon as the chameleon is colored in. Hopefully not to late to take part part in the #chameleoncommunitychallenge this time with my #colorful #quote because I usally take some time for art on the weekend. And this week I worked the whole week on this piece to finish it until now ^^ 💭- meaning - I‘ve searched for a quote that really fits for myself as well as for my passion for art and also for the challenge. Maybe it also fits to you? 🎨 - materials and methods - First I #draw the quote on a graph paper as a #sketch by using a pencil to get my spacing right. Than I transferred the sketch on to a piece of paper suited of #alcoholmarkers from decotime . After that I started #coloring the #rainbow with #chameleonmarkers and #chameleoncolortops. Next I did the rest of the #lettering including the outlines with the #chameleonfineliners and in the end the background also with chameleon alcohol markers and in addition for a better blend some #decotime #twinmarkers. In the end I added white outlines with a uniball signo broad white gel pen. All products I used are by the way paid by myself and collected since I‘ve been 16 years old 😋 (non-paid advertisement). ❤️ In the end I wanted to say thank you for all your support and your motivation recently, especially to @joschnee.art , @bellarosa.lunaarts , @prashant_calligraphy , @elmerbecker and @emotion_pics_by_nia . This week I finally took some time to #draw again and I really wanted to enter the #ChameleonCommunityChallenge from @chameleon_art_products . The promt for this week was 3 #Chameleonpens . For this #monstera #leaf I decided to use GR1 - green Apple , GR4 - evergreen and for the background PK5 - fuchsia . I also used the #chameleoncolortops of these #colours (especially GR1 - green apple) to create highlights and shadows . For the black outlines I‘ve used the #chameleonfineliners . It was a very fun and #creative #challenge and I challenged myself even a littlebit more because I didn‘t want to use primary colours (where I could easely mix secundary colours) .
