There's no way in hell that they can afford this place. I can't even afford this place..
Ma-rin stepped into the pristine lobby of the newly renovated hotels that had been promoted all over the news. She nearly choked on the mint that sat on the tongue as she heard the taxi driver utter it back to her. She had no idea what she was in for; her mother had made all of the plans. Her hands smoothed out the nonexistent wrinkles in her skirt, peering cautiously, seeming so completely out of place. What would be the worst thing that could happen if she had just slipped out before the mysterious man appeared. She didn't even know who he was so what did she have to lose? Turning on her heels, she took one last longing look at the pearlescent perfection of the lobby. Maybe in her next life she'd be able to sit here and feel as weightless as all of the those who dined here. In the corner, she noticed the one face she wished to avoid. A beautiful thorn in her side.
What are he doing here?
Ma-rin felt the jolt of electricity force itself through her bones before she'd immediately crotched down to shuffle away. @oranythingdamn

Do you have any recommendations for dramas where the woman lead is really cool and badass? Like the type that doesn’t get flustered with flirting and such? Someone like Su-Ji from “Because This is My First Life” but the lead instead of a secondary character.
I know exactly what you are asking for: a Strong Independent Lady who has ambitions and strong opinions. She challenges gender roles, is supportive of her friends, doesn’t mind romance but takes the lead, and doesn’t take anyone’s crap.
Sadly, I cannot recommend any k-dramas with lead characters as cool as Soo-ji and you guys, that’s nuts! I mean, she is my absolute favorite kdrama character but…Drama Writers: We NEED our strong ladies, C’mon!
Strong females are usually written as side characters (which is a shame IMO) or part of a group of leads instead of the main part of a duo. Any strong lead in a k-drama is worth noting though, so I’ll list some of those as well.
Strong Female Leads In K-Dramas:
Choi Ae Ra from ‘Fight My Way’ (it’s true that she’s flustered by the guy she likes, but she stands her ground, has unique ambitions and will always be my favorite female lead.)
Han Yeo Jin from ‘Secret Forest’
Kim Bo Mi from ‘Spring Turns To Spring’ - this show isn’t for everyone because it’s BONKERS, but she is definitely one of the strongest alpha ladies I’ve ever seen in a drama (and Lee Yoo Ri is SO good in this)
Tumblr media
Mostly Strong Female Leads:
Son Soo Jung from ‘My Strange Hero’ - a little soft in the romance area but pretty awesome and unique
Ban Ji Yeon from ‘Witch’s Romance’ - It’s been a while but I remember her being pretty strong and independent
Nak Won from ‘Come and Hug Me’ (she is not your typical alpha female at all, but she is VERY strong so even if the romance is super angsty, I want to list her.
Go Ae Rin from ‘Terius Behind Me’ (I know she seems soft at first but she’s actually super independent and I love her, plus it’s my list so… ;-)
Tae Gong Shil from ‘Master’s Sun’ - Again, it’s been a while since I’ve seen this but I remember her being very pushy, persistent and hilarious.
Tumblr media
Strong Female Sidekicks:
Soo-Ji from ‘Because This is My First Life’
Kang Yi-Na from ‘Hello, My Twenties! / Age of Youth’
Byun Hye Yeong from ‘Father Is Strange’
So many awesome ladies in ‘Terius Behind Me! - Watch it!
Kim Bok Joo’s BFFs from ‘Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo’
Ma Ji-Young from ‘Hwayugi’ (she’s not exactly independent since she’s a loyal servant BUT she’s very feisty.
If anyone can think of Strong Female Leads that I’ve missed, reply and help us out

Honestly can you just answer all of them?
Favourite Couple
i’ll just say my top three ok cause...impossible question:
Go Dong Man and Choi Ae Ra from Fight For My Way because the friends to lovers trope is strong with this one and it’s done so well
Eun Dan Oh and Haru in Extraordinary You because they’re the cutest?? have you seen them together?? also the possibility of them being a couple in another manhwa in the past is just *chef’s kiss*
Lee Jung In and Yoo Ji Ho from One Spring Night because they absolutely destroyed me every week. the pining, the angst, the sweetness
Favourite Actor
*looks at the thousands of gifsets and pictures of Ji Chang Wook* idk man there are just too many
Favourite Actress
Park Bo Young is definitely one of them but I love Jun Ji-Hyun very much
Favourite Drama
holy shit, um...While You Were Sleeping, Strangers from Hell, Extraordinary You, Life on Mars, Black, Designated Survivor: 60 Days, Fight for My Way, One Spring Night
Favourite Trope
when for some reason they get stuck in tight spaces or accidental too close physical encounters. those drive me wild
Least Favourite Trope
is wrist grabbing a trope? no but i’m kinda sick of the “we actually met when we were like five and you did something that changed my life” trope
Favourite Genre
Crime and Romance and when these combine i go nuts
Least Favourite Genre
political (although designated survivor was the fucking best)
Favourite Idol Actor
ugh, Cha Eunwoo, Park Jinyoung, Lee Junho, Bae Suzy, Henry
Favourite Web Drama
i don’t think Wednesday 3:30pm is one but that was a short drama? i haven’t actually seen any web dramas.(is i picked up a star on the road a webdrama? it was shit but i watched it)  i have started the universe’s star tho
Worst Ending
not particularly worst but w two worlds got so messy by the end, it was really hard to watch. also Black had a pretty weird ending, the kind that kept me up at night but i loved it
Messiest Plot
w two worlds BY FAR. i know people say this about melting me softly but it will never compare to w two worlds, jesus CHRIST
Favourite Villain
Choi Yoo Jin from The K2, period
Character You’re Supposed To Hate But Don’t
Choi Yoo Jin from The K2 lmao. i actually shipped her with Jae Ha.
An Actor/Actress You’d Watch In Any Role
Ji Chang Wook *looks at melting me softly* and Park Bo Young
Favourite Sageuk
Rookie Historian Goo Hae Ryung, Tale of Nokdu, Love in the Moonlight
Hated Character You Loved
Nam Eun Ki from Her Private Life...although i didn’t finish the show, i never  hated him like lots of people did.
i saw some people didn’t like Yeo Jin Woo in Memories of the Alhambra because he was a bit arrogant but i loved him so much
Loved Character You Hated
Luca from When the Devil Calls Your name annoyed THE SHIT out of me. i do not care how cute he is, he was the most annoying person i have ever seen.
i didn’t hate Ku Chan Sung in hotel del luna but he wasn’t someone i liked either. i actually don’t like yeo jin goo at all so maybe that’s why
Anna in The K2 because her character was really bland and just idk?? she was so uninteresting to me
Ji Sung Joon in She Was Pretty was not a good character, he didn’t desrve to end up with the FL and as much as i LOVE Park Seo Joon, that role didn’t do it for me
Couple That Should Have Stayed Platonic
Jae Ha and Anna in The K2. ji chang wook usually has chemistry with everyone he plays with but yoona and him just really didn’t have it. also her character was so plain, i just wished they stopped the unnecessary romantic subplot with them
i might get shit for this but Kim Shin and Ji Eun Tak in Goblin, i have expressed many times how uncomfortable the age difference was. also they worked so well as friends?? they always bickered and joked, it was so funny? they got so cheesy when they started dating it just wasn’t doing it for me
Most Annoying Family/Parents
Lee Jung In’s dad in one spring night. yall know why
ma dong chan’s family and go mi ran’s mom in melting me softly
Favourite Sidekick
Gong Soo Chang in Two Cops
Secretary Cha in designated survivor 60 days
Min Ja in Healer
Kang Dong Cheol in Life on Mars
Ji Eun Hyuk in Suspicious Partner
Ra Do Woo in Terius Behind Me
Kim Ji Woong in Oh My Venus
Favourite Group Of Friends
the losers in Fight for My Way
Worst Kiss
oh man there are just really too many of those
Touch Your Heart was really cute but the kissing scenes were tragic and what was even more tragic, was that they did THAT to lee dong wook and yoo in na out of all people
Favourite Kiss
Suspicious Partner, hands down. that shit SLAYED my ass
A Scene You’ve Rewatched A Million Times
the umbrella scene in The K2. “lift your head. straighten your back. your enemies are watching” god tier level of tension and acting on both sides
A Drama You Enjoyed, But Will Never Rewatch
almost all of them that i enjoyed. there are very few exceptions.(currently rewatching fight for my way) they’re too long and i have many more to watch
A Drama That Had A Strong Premier But Fell Apart
W Two Worlds again. it started off great but it fell apart like a jenga tower
Automatic Mood Lift OST
as i got to this question my spotify playlist decided to play Say to Myself from when the devil calls your name, so that is one
while you were sleeping
angel’s last mission: love
strangers from hell (The Rose - Strangers, specifically)
A Lead You’d Marry
the character or the actor? i’m gonna assume character. Jung Joon-Hyungfrom weightlifting fairy kim bok joo
Haru from extraordinary you
Ji Ho from one spring night
A Well Loved Actor/Actress Who Just Doesn’t Appeal To You
I mentioned Yeo Jin Goo before, idk why so don’t ask
An Unexpected Ship
Choi Yoo Jin and Jae Ha in The K2 (ofc it didn’t happen but i didn’t expect to ship them)
but i also didn’t expect Ji Eun-Hyuk and Cha Yoo-Jung from suspicious partner to rekindle their relationship after what happened
Song Hae-Rin and Ji Seo-Joon in romance is a bonus book
Favourite Crackship
Grim Reaper and Kim Shin
Actors You Wish Would Work Together
it’s really hard to find korean actors who haven’t worked together. i mentioned park bo young and lee jong suk before but apparently they already made a movie together, so i’ll say ji chang wook and park seo joon (tell me if they have, i don’t fucking know at this point)
First Drama
Strictly speaking, it was Secret Forest aka Stranger
Oldest OST You Still Listen To Regularly
i don’t watch old dramas because they make me cringe

Hi! Is it fine if you recommend any kdrama from this year? I already watched Goblin btw >_
Hey there! I’m so sorry for the late reply. I’ve been so busy with college and post-graduation plans. D:
I would love to recommend 2017 kdramas for you. Here a few that I recommend and they’re not in any particular order. I’ve included a brief summary of the dramas that I absolutely recommend, to help give you an idea what the drama is about. I hope you find some to your liking!
1. Strong Woman Do Bong Soon
Tumblr media
I really liked this drama! If you’re looking for a fun, quirky, and cute drama to pass your time – then this drama is perfect for that! It will not fail to make you laugh and smile. In general, I love Park Bo Young and she does an amazing job of playing Do Bong Soon. Plus, how can you pass up a drama with both Ji Soo and Park Hyung Sik as the male actors? This drama is about the heroine, Do Bong Soon, who’s born with awesome super strength that is passed down to the women in her family. On the other hand, Bong Soon wants to be an elegant and graceful woman, the ideal woman of her childhood crush In Guk Doo, unlike being unruly and brawn. Her dream is to create a video game with herself as the main character. She lands a job being the bodyguard of the CEO of a gaming company, Ahn Min Hyuk. However, one day, a series of kidnapping occur in Bong Soon’s neighborhood and she becomes determined to catch the culprit, with the help of Min Hyuk, after her friend was almost kidnapped.
2. Chicago Typewriter
Tumblr media
I’ve recommended it before and I’m going to continue to recommend it because this drama highly deserves the praise. Lol… all I can say is that this drama is the definition of friendship, love, and loyalty. I freaking balled my eyes out, not because of the romance, but because of the friendship!!! This drama is about a writer who experiences a “slump” while writing his book, but two important people come into his life and help him write it… while also a bit of reincarnation and time traveling to the 1930s during the Japanese occupation in Korea. One thing that may tick you off a bit is the main guy’s temper, but after that… he’s an adorable cute floof ball entranced by love.
3. Tomorrow With You
Tumblr media
Though I never finished writing my review for this drama… I still recommend it because it has a really beautiful story. Plus, I love Shin Min A. The story is about a CEO of an estate company, Yoo So Joon, who can travel through time via riding the subway. He foresees his future self and a woman, Song Ma Rin, in a terrible accident. He decides to marry Ma Rin in order to avoid that fate. The drama is kinda slow, but the story is very well written and organized.
4. Duel
Tumblr media
I’m still watching this drama, but damn is it good that it lands in my recommendation list for kdramas 2017. Probably one of the best crime and mystery dramas I’ve watched in a while! The story follows the Chief of the Crime Squad, Jang Deuk Cheon. His daughter is kidnapped and the suspect is a human clone. I haven’t seen the ending yet… but I totally recommend this drama if being on the edge of your seat and suspense is your cup of tea!
5. Queen of Mystery
Tumblr media
Another great crime and mystery drama, “Queen of Mystery” is about a bored housewife, Yoo Seol Ok, who is passionate about solving crimes by reading mystery novels. She has always wanted to become a detective, but gave up on her dream and married her husband who is a prosecutor. But one day, she gets involved in a real case and solves it, which leads her to team with detective Ha Wan Seung.
6. My Secret Romance
Tumblr media
I have mixed feelings about this drama, lol. I enjoyed watching it, however, the main guy character’s supreme “male alpha-ness” was overbearing sometimes. Don’t get me wrong though, the main guy was really sweet; I’m a sucker for guys who “fall in love at first sight” and “head over heels” for the girl. Probably one of the best rom-com so far in 2017. The story is about a nutritionist, Lee Yoo Mi, and a director of an underwear company, Cha Jin Wook, who have a one-night stand that would change their lives forever. If you like cheesy and cute romance with the cliche drama, this is a funny drama to laugh about and pass time with a friend who is also a romantic. Lastly, the art is absolutely amazing (art goals T__T)!!!
7. Hospital Ship
Tumblr media
This is the drama I’m currently watching… and I am absolutely obsessed about this drama (not only because I want to go to medical school >.>). I love the actors and actresses, but this is Min Hyuk’s FIRST LEAD ROLE!! Anyways, even if you’re not a fan of Min Hyuk, this drama is a little different from your typical drama, as it focuses more on the professional life of being a doctor. Other people have different opinions because they complain there’s not enough romance, which I argue because the romance is not the focal point of the story; it’s more about the stories of each character and their struggles in their professions. There’s actually romance, you just have to be patient. It follows a team of young doctors who travel on the hospital ship to treat patients. Particularly, a genius surgeon, Song Eun Jae, who is a strong and independent woman, joins the team after an incident at the Seoul hospital. There, she meets Kwak Hyun, a doctor of internal medicine, who is the son of the highly regarded physician known as the “Korean Schweitzer,” but he wants to become a good doctor different from his father. Overall, I think this drama is great so far with the character development, especially if you like dramas that portray a more realistic approach to the professions of the characters. This aspect is actually one thing that really annoys me sometimes in kdramas, they’ll throw in a medical profession for the main character just for convenience, but not accurately write out the profession (*coughs* The Bride of Habaek *coughs*). Please give this drama a chance, especially if you like good character development and awesome medical action! And it’s an added bonus if you love Min Hyuk and Ha Ji Won!!!! ^__^
8. Rebel: Thief of the People
Tumblr media
Oh man, this drama is AWESOME! One of the best Hong Gil Dong storylines I’ve seen. Full of action, thriller scenes, and a kickass historical drama… Rebel is a must see… especially if you love historical dramas. The writing is spectacular and the characters are all well developed/written. Set during the reign of the tyrant King Yeonsangun, the story follows Hong Gil Dong who is the son of a servant who stole from the rich and gave to the poor. The story tells the journey of Hong Gil Dong becoming Joseon’s first revolutionary activist. There are 30 episodes, but trust me, you’ll wish it was longer. The plot is not your typical predictable historical dramas and will keep you on the edge of your seat.
9. Tunnel
Tumblr media
This must be the year of crime and mystery kdramas!!! Tunnel is about a cop, Detective Park Gwang Ho, who enters a tunnel, in the year of 1986, chasing a killer and ends up time traveling thirty years into the future in the year of 2017. The serial killer has resumed his killings and it’s up to Gwang Ho, with Detective Kim Sun Jae and Professor of Criminal Psychology Shin Jae Yi, to catch this killer. Each episode always kept me at the edge of my seat begging for the next episode – really great and suspenseful cliffhangers!
Special Mentions: (Dramas I’ve watched but not going to give a brief description because I’m lazy, but highly recommend them too)
My Only Love Song (Historical, comedy, romance): Watch this if you love Lee Jong Hyun and Gong Seung Yeon from “We Got Married”
Circle: Two Worlds Connected (Crime/mystery, comedy, romance)
Defendant (Crime/mystery, thriller/suspense)
Save Me (Crime, Revenge, Thriller, Action, School)
Normal Mentions: (Dramas I’ve watched but not going to give a brief description, but they were enjoyable enough for me to recommend)
Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo (Sports, comedy, romance)
The Bride of Habaek (Fantasy, comedy, romance)
Lovely Love Lie (Music, Romance, comedy)
Ruler: Master of the Mask (Historical, Romance, Action)
Blind Recommendations: (Dramas on my to-watch list and recommended to me by other people)
Band of Sisters (Family, Melodrama)
Suspicious Partner (Action/thriller, Crime/mystery, comedy, romance)
Doctor Romantic (Medical, melodrama, romance): This is definitely on my “to watch list”!!!!
Voice (Melodrama, mystery/thriller, crime, action)
While you were Sleeping (Sci-Fi/Fantasy, Romance): This just started (Suzy and Lee Jong Suk) and I’ve heard pretty good comments about it so far
And as always, my #1 2017 Kdrama recommendation for those who have not seen it or just need a good rewatch….. drumroll….  is Goblin!!!!!!!! (lol still gonna add this cause it’s my bias >.

Tomorrow with You
It’s unusual for me to write a review of drama series because I usually write for books, sso this one is more of a rant xD Let’s get started since I love this drama to pieces despite other people’s reviews or saying.
People expect too much from this drama series because it has TIME-TRAVEL in it. They fall into despair when it’s not focusing on its sci-fi side. Well, if one could have spend their time researching before watching or anything, they wouldn’t fall. And to add it, it’s a Science+Fiction, so it’s never a science. Like a pseudo-science, or whatever you name it. So, it’s debatable to write anything based on things like this unless you want to play it all cool and stuff.
If you watch this drama from episode 1, you’ll be presented with the scene where a human can beat an AI (artificial intelligence). So, by this scene only, you can actually already guess where this show’s direction and what it wants to tell.
This shows is by far the most intelligent and very rare one to depend on their characters’ mental arcs, using time-travel as its important side-dish.
It has two leads that are survivor of big accident, a male named Yoo So Joon whose mind presents in future (since he’s a time-traveler) and a female named Song Ma Rin whose mind presents in past. They are trying their best to live in the present. These two are not typical characters who appear in k-drama series, they are not pushed for the market, they are unlikeable from the start and some even dub them as anti-hero and anti-heroine xD
This show is methodical and follows a pattern. Problems are needed and shown just to get the married couple’s bond stronger than ever, because it focuses on love and trust in marriage itself.
People complaining about them being childish and clingy and cringy but as far as I know, they’re in their honeymoon phase and nope, they’re not being shy nor hestitant to touch each other despite just met for a while then decided to marry, they’re just your normal married couple who can’t resist each other LOL
This story is also that story which makes you thinking about fate and destiny. What pushes your action? Do you believe in fate and destiny?
They also have a villain where his development is quite surprising but if you think about it again, it’s normal and you can find few people like him who feel this world is just so unfair and all.
Its background music are wonderful to listen to and its OST are beautiful and fitting the story.
If this show were a movie genre, this would be an arthouse movie. It has long continuing scenes, it’s beautiful and beyond.
I may edit this rant later… or NOT.

Kdrama: Tomorrow With You Review
Forewarning: There are moments within this review in which I sort of abandon any sense of professionalism, oops. Enjoy! *images to be added soon.
The OTP
Same age in real life omg I've never seen a pair so perfect.
NO SECOND LEADS. I absolutely love it when the focus is only on the mains, with no pointless distractions or love triangles that go no where. I love it. i rly do
cute cute cute cute times a million
They honestly looked like a legitimate couple, I feel like I could spot several moments when they even broke through their actual characters and ad-libbed it out or something
Many people were also complaining about how slow (I assume they meant relationship progression???) it was, and got annoyed over their "back-and-forth-ness"?? honest to god, yes they were so beautiful that I barely noticed it. But also, it was so logical to me, the process they went through in which they lied to each other & then failed to communicate until later. Like, it didn’t piss me off because it made sense...? I didn’t see anything wrong with it? It went a little like:
Yoo So-joon hits on her because he knows how they’re connected by death.
He tries to shake her off, but realizes who she really is (a fellow survivor).
He becomes interested again.
THEY FCKING GET MARRIED in FCKING EP 4 IF THAT IS SLOW TO U, THEN STFU AND GTFO
He obvi don’t love her fully, but she’s already heads over heels
She feels suspicious af and he doesn’t tell her stuff (that even his friends know). And he gets angry easily while he tries to protect his ppl, but keeps his secret hidden.
She got sick and he pulls off his romantic but materialistic resolution.
He opens up to her a little bit more and they cry it out.
He makes a wrong move again and then is basically forced to reveal his secret.
She’s like what the actual fuck is wrong with you, but comes to terms with it.
They get closer, but she feels empty because she rly don’t know much about him and he is as careless as ever.
Her heart breaks over the reality of him disappearing so easily.
So-joon is slowly realizing the future that’s in store for them.
Tries to call it quits and play noble idiot, but she won’t take his fake, snarky ass.
So they make up and he really really really realizes that he must change the future, no matter what. He has nothing left for her him but her.
He tries hard. but doesn’t try hard enough.
By the time he disappears & she waits for two years, they are basically one heart.
By the time they reunite they are the cutest couple in the world.
I think a big issue people had with So-joon’s character was that "he didn’t love her" when they got married, but I think that wording is extremely misleading and not entirely accurate. Yes, I don’t think that at that point he could say "I love you" to her with sincerity, but it’s not like he flat out was disgusted by her or hated her…?? It was more like, he was not fully aware of what he was getting himself into, by getting married. Not just to her, but the concept of marriage and the commitments that come with it in the first place. That was what he was not on board with, which is how he may have come off as indifferent. But we all knew that Song Ma-rin would change him for the better because the ones with flawed intuition always get taught a good lesson or two from their loved ones.
DO U KNOW how MaNY times he was shirtless WITh HEr?????
I swear I think I counted properly, but they kissed like 9+ times and probably hugged like 15+ times like omfg I’m pretty sure that is a record
Can I also just mention that for me, when a couple wipes each other's tears, like when one of them actually takes their fingers and smushes the falling teardrops, that is just game set. To me, that solidifies their relationship as one where 1) they aren’t embarrassed to cry in front of each other 2) they care enough to show tender affection for each other 3) they sympathize together. And that is exactly what they did. MORE THAN ONCE excuse me.
The Plot
A lot of people complained about the various flaws within the actions of the characters and the mechanics of time-travelling. Honestly… like I mentioned earlier, since the OTP was so convincing to me, the holes in logic kinda flew past my head. Like, I didn’t dissect them too deeply because I was so distracted, or I just didn’t bother
Don’t you see that their progression only felt natural?? You start out with one side that is overconfident about the commitment as if he’s strolling through a park while the other is lovestruck, but always smart enough to know when bullshit is going on, and is never afraid to call the other out for it. It only took a matter of time for them to find real and genuine appreciation for each other, and it was worth it.
"WTF were you thinking moments" & justification:
So-joon letting Song Ma-rin go home by herself while Kim Young-jin was still lurking. Ok I have no solution to this like you honestly....DID YOU NOT LEARN FROM AHJUSSHI THAT YOU BASICALLY GOTTA STICK TO THE PERSON LIKE GUM IF YOU WANT THEM TO BE SAFE?? U HAVE TO HAVE THEM IN UR SIGHTS AT ALL TIMES.
So-joon getting onto subway and ultimately getting stabbed. Ok, he even said himself that he wanted to catch him with his own hands because if he doesn’t now, he'll get away and who knows how much more havoc he could wreak? The police would do no good being there blatantly, and so he had to hold out since he was the bait anyway. He just should’ve been smarter with defense, like c’mon man let’s not get cocky with your fighting skills now.
So-joon letting her run onto the street. Ok yes, he def should’ve reacted faster and realized what kinda danger she would be in after being aware of it for like 2 years aiya. But I assume it was a spur-of-the-moment, blinded happiness kinda thing. They were cute af and they were happy and like who really thinks that hard y’know???
So-joon just bracing himself and Ma-rin for the car crash. He was facing their deaths, I assume. Yes, they could’ve just jumped out of the way, but at the same time, he had already mentioned that he just wanted to enjoy the small moments they have together, instead of always trying to cheat and change fate. If they were meant to die in that moment, he was going to take it as is. (which is lightweight greedy bc wb marin???? but whateves lol).
I really do think that the story-line was extremely tightly woven to begin with. Even up until episode 16, we saw scenes from episode 1, and vice versa; everything fell into place perfectly and the details were down to each minute of their lives. Everything was very clearly thought out and i felt like they picked and pulled at certain pieces at the proper times and revealed others at the most crucial of times, too. Props to the writing team for creating such a complex & dynamic web of characters and events that spanned nearly 3 decades.
The Cinematography
Stunnnningggggg. Especially that iconic moment in episode 1 when he pulled her out of the path of an oncoming truck and talked to her for the first time, like the way the sunlight was hitting the camera, it was just something else I swear.
Overall, the colors were warm and fluffy, but the future def always looked more bleak and dry and dark.  Beautiful dualism with a strong impact.
Also can I just mention that when So-joon disappears, it’s also very mystifying, the fast wisps are quite a touch.
Also ngl the couple themself was extremely aesthetic; like they are both very attractive people & when attractive people cuddle a part of you kinda just dies inside, y’know??
The Emotions
Ok I admit that my reactions were probably overboard because I was so attached
but straight up this is the kind of drama my heart was searching for.
I always love it so so so so much, (although realistically speaking, it’s only fantasy ones that can pull this off w/o it being some noble idiocy shit) when the force that is keeping a couple apart is a force that is greater than themselves. It’s more than them just choosing to not be together. It’s them wanting so desperately to be together, but circumstances, in the best kind, life and death ones, prevent them from doing so. The reason I like these kind of situations so much is seriously because that’s where all the love comes out. The pain of love.
It was so so so soooooo excruciatingly painful to watch So-joon and Ma-rin's future unfold the exact way he saw it would. It tore me to pieces because I could feel Ki-doong's hopelessness from losing his best friend to a murderer, Ma-rin's deathly painful heartbreak from simply NOT knowing what in the world is going on or what will happen (and for her dad to tell her to move on), but just having to wait, and So-joon's very own inability to fix it all. Oh dear lord watching him visit her grave in the future where she no longer exists, that shattered my sanity because it hurt so much.
I literally cried in the smallest of moments. When he disappeared in front of her eyes, I burst into tears along with her because her crying was so beautiful (yes, actually tho), but at the same time, I felt it deep down inside. It felt trivial, to cry over that one moment, but it also meant so much more than that. It represented a real fear of losing your loved one, and o dear lord i can’t.
Like I said, the heartbreak was everything I’ve been wanting. It felt so raw. In those moments where even he cried because he was so scared for the future (after eating in the tent with ahjusshi, calling ahjusshi on the phone in the cafe, reading her letters sent to him from her past self), knowing how much was on the line, and how much he just wanted it to be okay, it hurt so much because I had so much hope along with him. I honestly didn’t expect them to allow their future to play out the exact way he saw it; I rly thought that they’d pull some plot twists because that’s what dramas do......... and so when everything really did unfold painfully, my heart was unprepared and it tore apart. Even though I knew that they would be together in the end no matter what, I didn’t know how, and everything still hurt like fking crazy.
I know a drama does it right when I can feel the pain physically in my own chest. When it suddenly feels so heavy and ache-y that I kinda wanna give up in life a little bit. That's when a drama pulled the right strings & carved a good-sized void in my heart.
The Special Connections
I, tbh only decided to watch this because I found out that Kim Feel, my eternally favorite musician, sang an OST for it, and I was feeling extra down from his military enlistment. What a beautiful gem he brought me to. When his voice played at the still frames in the ends of some episodes, my heart filled with this indescribable sort of happiness and longing.
The "seoul station" that So-joon refers to is actually called Si-cheong station, one I manage to catch a geofilter for back when I was in Korea!!!!!!!!!!! It was an exciting discovery, to find out that the exact route So-joon takes back and forth is one that I have traveled on myself.
Idk if this really has to do with anything, but the director also directed Oh My Ghostess and King of High School, so everyone kept saying that this drama would be a rom com BUT BOY WAS THAT SHIT DARK AS F*CK IDK WHAT Y’ALL HAD IN MIND BUT like, no no, no, that was nowhere close to the other 2 dramas he made. It was a beautiful change of atmosphere nonetheless.
The Message
The fact that Ma-rin is a photographer speaks volumes. For a man who is infatuated with the future and has lost focus of the present, just one photograph can speak volumes. A photograph captures the present and instills a moment in time. For Marin, this is what her life's work depended on; this is what she lived by. Capturing the present and cherishing individual seconds in time. And for So-joon, this is exactly the kind of person he needed to save him from himself and his future selves. So so so beautifully laid out.
Even just the ending line: "today". Like akjfkjdagkahkgdhlanjak, if you don’t get the message from this then you are just... idk wtf you’ve been watching LOL. Granted, the drama is called "Tomorrow With You", but clearly that is not what they are tryna get at. That was the theme throughout the entirety of the drama with So-joon being an apprehensive wuss, but the reality of it is to face the present, and live for a today with you. Love love love <3
Favorite Moments
When he asks "So... do you like me?" and she replies "Was there ever a time when I didn't????" LIKE IDK something about the trivial-ness of both statements yet how deep they hit home.... like obviously, they like each other or else they wouldn’t have gotten so far. But the fact that he had a need to reiterate that, and the fact that she was like "dude have I not made myself clear how much I like u" like that is just so adorably cute and squishy goals to me omggg.
When she sniffs him as they walk home from dinner and giggles and says "Hehehe husband smell" OMG WHY R THEY SO FREAKING CUTE I JUST--.
When he disappeared right before her eyes, it shattered everything in me.
When he grabbed her and saved her from the accident, it was one 2-sec move that altered entire lifetimes, for better or for worse. It was beautifully shot, despite it being an extremely cliche move. It’s okay. It was gorgeous and it’s def my favorite wrist grab to date LOL.
When he started crying because he saw the car accident on the news and he legit was dropping tears, but she laughed it off and hugged him and her smile was so sweet and innocent but he’s legit in agony and it was just so cute and heartbreaking at the same time LIKE HONESTLY that phrase is what describes this drama in a nutshell. Heartbreakingly beautiful.
Despite its flaws, this drama was honestly what I’ve been looking for so so so long. It’s definitely not my number 1 because there were things it could’ve done better, and each episode did not stand out like a number 1 drama should have, but it definitely tore me to pieces, out of joy AND despair. I loved it to bits and I will never forget this gorgeous couple and their journey that transcended time.

Exit Rave: Tomorrow with You
Here we are again after…I don’t know how it’s been since I last did a full drama review. I’m sorry I haven’t been very active with original content lately. While I have been busy with activities that take away from my drama time considerably, I also have dropped a large number of dramas that didn’t hold my attention so far this year (Voice, Missing 9, Hwarang) or have finished certain dramas that I just didn’t have anything so say about, or were already so widely discussed that I didn’t feel I had anything to add (Goblin, Age of Youth, among others).
But finally, I finished a quality drama in 2017 that was worth writing about.
Tumblr media
And it’s one that nobody else was really talking about. Which isn’t to say it was all quiet on the Western fandom front, but there was considerably less buzz than I expected considering the cast, the premise and even the station are usually fandom catnip.
Tomorrow with You is a romantic drama about Yoo So Joon (Lee Je Hoon) a bright young man who, after an unforeseen tragedy in his life, is suddenly granted the ability to travel to the future using the subway. He uses this ability to become filthy rich and in the process becomes detached from his life and from ordinary people. However, he finds that his fate is inextricably linked with that of Song Ma Rin (Shin Min Ah), a fallen child star trying to overcome her public image and embark on a respectable career as a photographer. Dark clouds are on the horizon for the both of them if So Joon doesn’t do something to change the future. Selfishly, in an attempt to save he own life, he marries Ma Rin without love, but in the process of tampering with fate genuinely falls for his wife.
Lee Je Hoon was a hot commodity, coming off of Signal, and Shin Min Ah is Shin Min Ah (I don’t know, I have a bias toward her. I think she’s a queen.) On paper, this immediately felt like it had all the necessary elements for a fan favorite. However, that did not turn out to be the case.
Domestically, TWY got completely buried in the ratings. Pulling down as low as under 1% at times, which no doubt was a huge disappointment for tvN after the ratings leviathan that was Goblin, the drama TWY was following in its time slot.
Tumblr media
And that’s a shame, it truly is. Because I think there hasn’t been this thoughtful of a drama on the air in a while. Certainly it feels mature in comparison to recent fare.
Much like Shin Min Ah’s last foray onto the small screen, Oh My Venus, the drama focuses on adult people in adult relationships and the problems they will face, but TWY does this more so. Instead of placing the focus where most dramas (indeed, most romances) do on the romantic lead up and ultimate culmination of a romance, TWY has our two main players become intimate and get married very early after the start of the drama. Despite the fantastical time-travel premise, it portrays the central couple facing the ups and downs that any couple might have to contend with as they try to make their relationship work.
Therein, I think, lies the chief strength of TWY. It’s frankness about sex and trust and honesty in a marriage. How those things relate to each other. Real intimacy vs. surface level intimacy, the subjectivity and the (sometimes brutal) reality of it. It’s a fantasy that is also tangibly domestic. But I also think that’s one of its chief pitfalls as well. Instead of the “will they or won’t they?” hook that most romcoms use, here the question is “they will, but for how long?” That can tend to defuse some of the desired tension. Additionally, TWY is slow to build. Not unforgivably slow, and I think the pacing is intentional and appropriate for the material, but I’m cognizant that is a major barrier to enjoyment for the frequent consumer of Korean media. I know it was a barrier for me, as it took me several weeks to complete the drama even after it finished airing.
Some highlights of the drama that I think make it very well worth the watch include the main couple themselves.
Tumblr media
Lee Je Hoon and Shin Min Ah look very good together. Their characters are competently and naturalistically preformed, and they have exceptional chemistry (an important point, because a slow and steady drama like this lives and dies on the chemistry of the leads). I think the strength of the writing shows particularly in So Joon’s character, he’s clearly the one the plot is focused on and he’s the one who has the biggest growth arc. I don’t feel Ma Rin is by any means a poor character, but her growth arc largely stops by the midway point of the drama and she is then acted upon by the plot and by So Joon more than she is an actor in her own right.
Jo Han Chul’s refreshing turn as the mysterious Doo Shik was an unexpected bright point and his dynamic with Je Hoon–as father figure and as foil–gives depth and additional dimension to the story. His presence really improved the whole experience for me.
Tumblr media
Jo Han Chul is one of those supporting character actors who I don’t often think about, but always notice whenever he crops up. I’ve especially liked him in King of High School Savvy  and Healer, but this was definitely my favorite performance from him to date.
I think the drama could have done a better job, especially early on, setting up the ground rules for the time-travel. I should not be asking myself 9 or 10 episodes in, how the process of time-travel works, why it happens and what its limitations are. But the reveal in the last 4 episodes was well handled, and the sprint to the finish line for this drama was, in this humble critics opinion, engaging and wholly satisfying. The last episode had the emotional punch that I was looking for coupled with the realism that sold me on the drama in the first place.
Without saying too much more and risking spoilers, I would recommend this drama. It’s not a top of the watch list, drop everything and binge this right now, kind of recommendation. Save this one for a rainy day, when you’re looking for something cozy and introspective to enjoy with a cup of chamomile tea. 8/10

Just another four zeros until freedom..
Ma-rin squeezed the glossy booklet between her fingers once she’d slapped the cover closed. All she needed was another four zeroes in this saving account to release herself from the hellish grind that ensnared her since she turned sixteen. Her parents debt would no longer weigh on her shoulders like shackles but the distance between those zeroes and tonight seemed a lifetime away. She tucked it back into her purse and cast her gaze to the fading sunset.
Instead of dwelling she would celebrate her hard work after another long week, Ma-rin sunk into the plastic seat of the swing set left abandoned for the night; a perfect place for a girl like. A symphony of refreshing cracks of a crisp Terra can, Ma-rin felt lighter. Her pity party had exclusively closed like her last shift at her family’s restaurant. With each sip, she felt more distant from the stress that mounted on her shoulders.
After a while, she felt the wind chapping her cheeks and the chill rumbling down her back. Fumbling around her pocket, she scrolled flippantly through her contacts to call Ma-ri. Aigoo, why do I have so many ‘m’s. Blinking through her drunken haze, she tapped on the contact and listened to the trilling sound until the soft pick up of the receiver.
“Jagiya,” she cooed. “Have you finished for the day? I’ve don’t remember how to use my legs.” Ma-rin giggled. Her buzzed brain happily gloss over the deeper baritone that ebbed through the phone. A voice that had brought her more annoyance and intrigue than any man had ever done in the past.
Tumblr media
“Jinnie is still singing at the karaoke in the neighborhood but I thought I’d get a jump start but my legs..” she spoke so pitifully as her head dipped forward.

Tomorrow With You Review Episode 1 & 2: Tomorrow, the Sun will Rise
It’s going to take some time to heal from Goblin, but the new drama that replaced it’s time slot (ugh... that sounds so sad T.T) is tvN’s new series, “Tomorrow With You.” The story is very promising and also has this similar touch of fantasy with being about time traveling.
So this is going to be a short review and reaction to the first two episodes because the episodes come out today and tomorrow, lol (plus what happened in episodes 1 & 2 is pretty self-explanatory except for a few unsolved questions which I’ll briefly discuss). Basically, the first two episodes were made to setup the story-line for the drama and introduce our main characters.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s hilarious how he’s is the only one not suited up, lmao, this scene was great!
At first, Yoo So-Joon is portrayed as a guy who doesn’t give a shit about other people, unless it concerns him, because he has the power to travel to the past, present, and the future by riding the subway, “You may have many questions about your future. But, I decline all questions. I have no interest in the lives of others.” We learn that he could never go beyond March 25, 2019 at 9:15 pm because that will be the day of this death. However, one day he was able to go to that date and witness his death personally... but we don’t know why. He met another time traveller, Doo-sik, who then taught So Joon all about time traveling and gave him the idea to seek out the woman who died with him. So Joon indeed sought out Ma Rin and saved her from dying, despite him stating he doesn’t involve himself in other people’s lives. We slowly learn more about him  being a CEO of a huge company and as a guy who has no awareness of how he approaches people -- such as touching Ma Rin casually despite being total strangers. But we further learn that So Joon isn’t what he really seems to be. We learn that he’s an orphan who lost his parents in a subway accident, while he was miraculously saved because of a certain woman who thought he took her pictures. We learn that he felt extremely terrible for being left behind alive and that was when he gained his powers... but we still don’t know why he received his time traveling powers in the first place.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
At first, Song Ma-Rin is portrayed as a failure celebrity who is a laughing stock as a drunkard; she became famous for playing Bap Soon. But Ma Rin has a different passion -- photography; however, the photographer whom she admires is a fuckin asshole and treats Ma Rin very disrespectfully (Ugh... who else was pissed when she kept calling her Bap Soon (like her mother and friend)??? She has a name damnit.) Despite all of this negativity in her life, she still has a positive outlook because she survived a train accident... the same train accident So Joon miraculously survived too. Before So Joon learned that Ma Rin was the woman who saved his life, So Joon only approached Ma Rin for the sake of himself... without ever trying to understand Ma Rin. She confused So Joon’s approach towards her as him ‘liking’ her and most likely began to like him in return. However, ever since So Joon involved himself in Ma Rin’s life, his future dramatically changed to the point where they were married 3 months later. Because of this change, So Joon immediately distanced himself from Ma Rin and decided to end things with her... but before he could tell her his true feelings, he learned about Ma Rin’s childhood and how she was forced against her will to be in the show because of her mother. Even though Ma Rin seems to be a straight-forward and head-strong girl, she is timid in asking others for help and doesn’t want to burden others with her problems -- that’s why she didn’t immediately ask So Joon for help to be a model for the photoshoot. Out of pity, So Joon decided to help her one last time and ended their relationship --- tbh, this was an asshole of a move... just saying... >.> Poor baby Ma Rin... I wish I could give her a hug. Ma Rin being herself, played it cool and smiled it away.... saying that they never had a stable relationship to begin with because she doesn’t even know his name.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I personally really like the main characters of this drama... though So Joon appears to be a cold guy -- he actually does care to some extent and that’s why he doesn’t involve himself in other people’s lives because he doesn’t want to hurt them (such as the friend who broke up with his girl friend, but she was actually cheating on him with another guy all the time and So Joon knew that). Though he overworks his best friend, he genuinely cares for his friend and doesn’t hesitate to stand up for him (such as when he was bullied in the elevator... that scene was great, lol). But the greatest character development for So Joon is when he is torn with himself involving in Ma Rin’s life... even though he cut ties with her and returned his future to how it “normally was” where they weren’t married... he still looked for her in the future and that’s how he finally learned that she was the woman who saved him from the train accident. And BAM! So Joon returns to Ma Rin’s side because he’s always wanted to find the woman who saved him... and this time it’s his turn to protect her because she’s going to die with him in the future... frigging onion ninjas T.T
Also, we still don’t know WHY he got his power to time travel.. we just know how he got them. I wonder... perhaps he got his powers in order to save Ma Rin in the future??? Their fates are definitely connected somehow...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I immediately fell in love with Ma Rin... I love how dynamic her character is and I LOVE HER STYLE! It’s cute, fun, and spunky like her. I love how she’s head-strong and wants to live happily, but she’s not perfect... she has her flaws cause she’s human... she loves to drink... she’s clumsy... and sometimes she falls to her temptations, but she’s honest with her actions. Even though the photographer she admires doesn’t like her (for now -- Ma Rin will change her I think because the photographer just needs someone to change her perspective), Ma Rin is an amazing photographer who carefully and lovingly takes pictures and interacts with her models (such as encouraging them and standing up for them). Also, I definitely don’t blame her for thinking So Joon was weird for touching her so often... that was very weird and awkward too. And I definitely don’t blame her for thinking So Joon kinda liked her because he essentially “played” with her because he was using her to understand why she was involved with his future. It wasn’t shocking how Ma Rin and So Joon have already previously met... but it makes me wonder why they don’t remember each other’s faces lol....
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I particularly find the other time traveller, Doo-sik, to be very interesting because he knew that So Joon was going to die at that time and was the ONE who suggested him to seek out Ma Rin. He obviously knows more than what he seems because in episode 2, we see he has files and loads of information about years and dates of SOMETHING... perhaps he’s more than just a time traveller??? I kinda think Doo Sik might be ANOTHER So Joon from an alternative world... future... where he failed to save Ma Rin. So I think he’s trying to make amends for his failure by ensuring Ma Rin will survive this world, why else would he be so insistent on So Joon searching Ma Rin and how he EXACTLY knew So Joon’s time and location of death.
Tumblr media
I also wonder if there’s a second lead couple... if not... that’s totally fine too cause I love the focus on So Joon and Ma Rin. However, I do want to learn more about So Joon’s friend... he’s so precious... I think he might have a bigger role than just being a bro... while Ma Rin’s model friend definitely might have an important role than just being a model.
Tumblr media
Overall, I love the story so far... it kinda reminds me of Goblin with the supernatural feeling, the tragedy, and how both actresses have a tough childhood. I also like how the main guys both have “special powers,” but Shin used his powers to perform miracles while So Joon doesn’t use them for others at all. The colors in Tomorrow With You are so beautiful... I love how they’re so bright and complex. And lastly, I love the subtle usage of the word, “Tomorrow,” in this drama... it’s definitely go to play a big role in this drama considering it’s in the title. Such as in episode 1, Ma Rin said in the car after them drinking together, “Tomorrow, the sun will rise.”
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Oh... and sorry Reporter guy... even though you were the one who helped So Joon and Ma Rin back together with your article... homeboy So Joon belongs with Ma Rin... lmao (it was kinda sad how he just got tossed to the side when So Joon came and took her away).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I can’t wait to see what will unfold cause So Joon came back and TOLD her his name... and asked, “Who are you?” Well... boy... she is the woman who is gonna teach you about life, love, and is gonna sweep you off your feet, lol.
She’s your wife. And you better damn save her. T.T

I have very mixed feelings about Yoo So Joon. On the one hand, it’s obvious that he cares about Song Ma Rin and really likes her. He didn’t marry her only to save himself but save her as well. But sometimes, it's really disturbing how he acts irritated when she does something wrong or how he said that from afar she looks like Bap Soon when he clearly knows that Ma Rin dislikes that she’s still associated with the character she played years ago.
Still, I like him, I like them both very much. It just upsets me that Song Ma Ri is living in an illusion and doesn’t know what is behind this rushed wedding.

The Aftermaths of Goblin: The Lonely and Shining Guardian
So wow, may time na din ako ngayong gumawa ng blog. Hahahahahaha. 😂 Feeling ko kase ngayon lang ako hindi masyadong busy unlike the past weeks after the sem started dahil defense season ngayon sa department namin and ang profs ko ngayon eh mga major profs na so walang klase dahil busy sila sa panggigisa ng higher years sa thesis nila. So ipupush ko na to, since limited lang naman ang internet ko dahil wala na kaming internet connection and I have to rely on prepaid internet. Yes beshiewaps, Third year second sem is real. And it's so fuckin' real all I do everyday till this last week is to cram for requirements and review and draw plates and stuffsssss. Oo bes madaming stuffs talaga lol. Bale konting pasilip lang talaga tong blog na to sa thoughts ko about Goblin and mostly kwento to ng life ko until midterms of this sem. What? Midterm sa March? Oo. August kase nagstart ang year namin so technically nakapagbakasyon ako ng 4 months. Oo teh bakasyon lang talaga as in wala akong ginawa and nasayang talaga yung bakasyon kase yung mga classmates ko nakahanap ng parttime job tapos ako humilata lang. I felt so bad about myself pa naman nun since last sem eh di ako scholar dahil sa Stat2A ni Brigidang dinaig si Nostradamus. Di pa ako tumulong sa gastusin ni Mother Earth. Hayst. But anyway, dahil dun, our last day of the first sem became December and the semestral break came on a holiday season na isa din sa pinanghinayangan ko ng slight. Like, beh given na holiday yun tapos dun niyo pa tinapat yung sembreak? Char ang tamad ko talaga. Hahahahaha. 😂 Then after that syempre January 2017 nagsimula ang second sem namin (the current sem) and here I am, gumagapang papuntang prefinals and sembreak! Char. May pa daw ang sembreak so wala pa akong karapatang magpahinga ng 2 months. 😭 So my week goes on this cycle this sem: I always have classes from Monday to Thursday, lahat ng araw 7 AM ang pasok. Ang hirap ng section 1 sa Cavite State University like myghad wala kang maayos na pahinga. Then my typical dismissal times are 5:00 or 6:00 PM on Mondays, 6:00 PM on Tuesdays, 4:00 PM on Wednesdays and 3:00 PM on Thursdays. Thinking my weekend's getting lighter? Think again. Every Monday binibigyan kami ng assignment plate na gagawin namin over the weekend. Course requirement siya ng CADD class namin. And may on-the-spot plate drawing naman and assignment plate over the weekend sa Building Design. Those two happen every week, except when major long exams are approaching. When long exams approach naman, problem sets naman ang kalaban ko. Every major subject na engineering science ang category ay nagpapagawa ng 30 problem sets as reviewers and course requirement na din na ipapapasa nila every long exam. And because wala na akong minors ngayon at tapos na ako ng math subjects (though may advanced math pa kami ngayon pero trivial engineering science subject na lang siya so yes beshie tapos na ako sa maths wooooohh yeeeeessss todo na tooooh!), may five engineering science subjects akong inenroll ngayong sem namely Strength of Materials (Strema), Dynamics of Rigid Bodies (Dyna), Engineering Economy (Econ), Fluid Mechanics (Fluids), and Advanced Engg. Mathematics (AdMath) as dagdag majors, at dahil required tong itake agad ng mga regulars. Of these, Strema, Dyna and Econ give problem sets na papasagutan, because pinalitan ng annotated bibliography ang probset namin sa Fluids and tamad ang teacher namin sa AdMath so di na siya nagpapaprobset at kami na din ang pinapagturo niya (or should I say pinapareport niya) ng AdMath (technically ako lang din nagrereport kase ako lang tinutulak or tinatanong ng mga kaklase ko kapag AdMath and wala naman akong magawa but to answer their question 'coz they either go inside the room unprepared or unknowing about the topic kase by section ang grading ng reporting). So that leaves 30 × 3 = 90 problems na lang na sinasagutan namin every time may exam, excluding the review time. Buti na lang mabait yung dyna prof and 15 lang binigay niyang probset last major exam so 75 lang binuno namin (pero mahirap pa din kase pinapowerpoint pa niya after namin isulat). Ewan ko na lang this coming sem. Because kailangan ko nang magstudy every night on weekdays for the subjects for the following day, ang time ko na lang para gumawa ng plates tuloy ay weekends. So because of that, I sit on our computer desk the whole weekend or sit in my bed and set up my drawing desk near me in order to finish either a CADD plate or a BD plate or both. Yes minsan nagsasabay pa sila men. Saya. 😂 I even experienced na mage-FB lang ako every night sa sobrang busy, but all I'd do is to check GC chats and notifs in order to continue on what assignment I'm currently at kase I have questions about the specifics of the assignments to my classmates. Ayun nawalan ako ng social life. Hahahaha. 😂 Anyway ok na din kase I see positive results on grades, though I think I'm on the edge of glory for Strema and Higher Surveying (Higher Surveying is one of my majors) so medyo nanganganib ang buhay ko. 😂 And ganito kase ang nangyari. I was introduced to watching Goblin when I went to Los Baños last December dahil inaya ako ng HS classmate ko sa dorm niya sa UP together with my beshies din nung HS para magwalwal at tumoma. Oo beh naglasingan kami though di naman gaano since soju lang naman ang ininom namin (mga feeling koreans kase sila amp. Ang kinain pa namin nung lunch after arriving was korean food, though masarap tbh). We watched the series while drinking soju. O diba kpop na kpop ang adventure. Enjoy ko naman kahit playing cards lang talaga at kwento at movie marathons and gala and simbang gabi and inuman at lamon lang ginawa namin hahahaha. Then I got to watch until episode 12 I think before the sem started. Kaso natigil siya after ko maging busy and di ko natapos eversince. Natapos ko siya last week lang dahil di rin ako busy last week masyado. And my verdict? *drum roll* . . . . . Bitin! Oo bes bitin. Duuh. 😂 I love You by Soyou yung title. Siguro If I'd have the chance to repeat the story with my own version I'd let Kim Sun forgive Wang Yeo so they can be happy in that life too (pero kase punishment ni Wang Yeo galing kay Kim Sun na di na sila magtatagpo pa ever in that life bilang kabayaran ng kasalanan niya in the past life eh so wala din akong magagawa). Then I'd let Ji Eun Tak and Kim Shin be happy after Ji Eun Tak remembers him again. Pero syempre masisira ang essence ng story at ang sense of order na inoobserve ng higher deity sa story so wala akong magagawa. I'd mess up the plot with my suggestions. 😂 Maganda naman siya and I can't really move on hanggang ngayon kase iniwan din akong wasak nung kdrama. And you know naman na how fragile I am when it comes to moving on, picking up the pieces and getting over on what happened. Tangina si Kent nga feeling ko moved on na completely ako binabangunot pa sa what ifs eh hahahahaha (oy I don't feel anything na about it ah baka akalain mo pa char hahahaha. That's like magto-two years ago na duh). 😂 Would I recommend anyone to see it? Definitely! Matatawa ka din kase sa story with a mixed of 2/3 crying.
