Ok, so... I like Hazbin Hotel buuuuuut I was very surprised that Heaven played as big of a role as it did in season 1.

Personally, that felt like the end game and once Charlie finally got to try and talk with them directly, then the goal post would shift as her naïve view (that divine judgement is just and so good people automatically get into heaven / people can move there if they change for the better) starts to change as she's seen many sinners improve and be refused, alongside characters such as Adam prove that questionable people and actions are permitted in Heaven. It would feel tragic and frustrating after seeing our cast grow and endure hardship to do so, only for their original goal to perhaps not be attainable in the way they once thought.

Instead, for season 1 at least (if not longer if possible), I feel a more Hell-centred narrative would be better. Showing how Hell normal opperates, the day to day struggles, the politics, and the aftermath of the exterminations disrupting it all. Though our care and focus will obviously be mostly on the main cast, I think it's important that we should care about sinners the way Charlie does (or at least understand why she sees them that way).

Instead of explaining the exterminations and Hell through a storybook monologue, I think a purely visual intro would set the stage better. Like a mix between the intro in the pilot and the openning scene from Arcane episode 1.

Have a relatively intact Hell be seen before the extermination. Oddly barren, with some stragglers who probably died in the last couple days so they wouldn't know about the extermination in time, along with sinners deliberately staying out in a desperate bid to leave the afterlife (maybe show a contract / chains dissipate between them an another sinner when they're killed in the extermination. Quick, but foreshadowing a. Soul contracts and b. How desperate a sinner might be to escape one, which c. Could also act as a hint to Angel's and Husk's mental state once their situation comes to light, or at least have us hope it doesn't come to that).

The extermination would be swift and cause so much destruction so quickly that the rubble would cloud the city like fog until after it's over. More like a bombing campaign (like with Adam's holy light) than an exorcist massacre alone. Then we see Pentagram city in ruins.

I also agree that having it known (especially by Charlie) that the exterminations are a means to control Hell's population from uprising against Heaven, rather than to limit Hell's OVER population makes the premise of Hazbin Hotel seem a bit redundant. Plus, having it questioned WHY so many people are ending up in Hell would be something I wished was actually brought up rather than only focussing on what it takes to get people who are already in Hell into Heaven. People stuck in Hell not sure exactly what they did wrong and leading relatively peaceful afterlives doing nothing to harm other sinners. Leading to a later revision of the more arbitrary rules in the Bible such as not wearing mixed fabrics, not being gay * (it's debated whether or not the bible actually says anything against being lbgt, however homophobia and transphobia are rampent enough in many Christian sects that it would be worth critiquing the ridiculous lengths to which Christians shun those who don't conform and twist the bible's text to suit whatever they currently believe), not eating certain foods, etc.

Those are my main points so far. Might get around to doing a fanfic-y re-writing of season 1.

Again, I love the show as is but man is it janky. I do love janky things - Pathologic and Sims my favourite games after all - but it's still fun to work with what's there and tweak it here and there.

after the annon has posted the link, I became curious, if a religion is pro life, free thought and education well I support them

the website looks like a 2010s era website, with nice estatics and all.

I looked at the pages and first: the amount of christian hate, like yes there are fundys and orthodox toxic movements that harm people and are if they get power dangerous, but there are also nice christian churches that are harmless in fact even lovely for the comunity, like black churches, progressive lgbtiq churges,

I love the progressive normal churches in the Netherlands, for me this religion makes more sence

also a sub hint of anti semitism, and it feels like this website is written by vilains in a story to make them look good.

Also the ego to tell that satanism is the mother religion, that rubbs me the wrong way, most paganism don’t involve satan as a godd, mostly they godds of death.

it also feels like a mormon version of the bible,

it also doesn’t mention islam, boedism, hindoeism,

it has mentioned new age.

this religion is not something I take serious, yes I have my own view of the afterlife, between heaven and earth, but even then I am also questioning if its right or not. I am always open to learn about each perspective of spiruality, but I can’t take these folks remotly serious.

I take boedism, hindoeism, christianity, judeaism, islam and other establishd religion much more serious then this, egdy nonsence.

Again why the general christian hate, christianity is a big religion with many churches, each one opperate different and has different valeuas.

The past few weeks have brought on some of the most intense Spiritual Warfare of my life. I've been in the Paranormal Field for 14 years and never have I experienced the kind of push back from the phenomena like I have recently on such a personal level. This is to be expected when you work these kinds of cases. One of the most common descriptions of this type of activity is Diabolical Confusion. It is literally a smokescreen, a series of targeted attacks and diversions that are meant to scare one away from the case. When you corner a wild animal, it snarls, hisses, scratches and bites. It puts on a threatening posture to make itself seem as big and as intimidating as possible, the same is true with the demonic. When faced with this kind of opposition, one must be firm and stand their ground. You have to opperate with assurance that all that is in you, the fullness of Christ, his Holy Spirit, is stronger than anything out there.This includes being grounded and rooted in faith, maintaining mental and spiritual fortitude and practicing sound spiritual hygiene and it's absolutely critical. You are literally going up agianst ancient, primal forces that opperate with the wisdom of the ages. Without Christ, you stand no chance. Point, blank, period! This is why the work being done today that I'm involved in with my friends is so important. As the Pagan Dominance waxes and Christianity wanes in the west, the church must rise to meet the darkness head on and control the narrative. When we are silent, the devil and his voice of many waters will gladly continue to spew his poison and people have never been more culturally condition to eat it up. I've seen the sinister side of the Paranormal first hand. I've seen the destruction and carnage that follows in its wake. The trend in the Paranormal Community right now is to downplay the demonic as an antiquated ideology and that true evil doesn't exist. You have the leaders in the field pumping this doctrine of death into every outlet they can find. Claiming to be wise these fools have no idea they are being played and worked like puppets. The biggest favor fallen man has ever done for Satan is the willful denial and blindness being sent his way today. A thief or robber doesn't turn on the lights and announce himself when he's robbing your house, he prefers you to believe he isn't there. This is the tactic of the fallen today. The hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil and there won't be no evil mentality is the slippery slope to ruin and humanity is truly in free fall. God have mercy.

Hi! Took one of my usual breaks from tumblr and i come back to it nuked.

Ive relied on this blog for a pretty long while whenever i’m in a tight spot money wise, and now I guess it’s gone.

There’s nothing any of the tags I use to promote my matieral on, all of the blogs i follow have stopped posting artwork as well, it’s all gone to complete shit from what I can gather for this side of tumblr. I don’t know what to do right now honestly. I’m dissapointed, disgusted, and not at all shocked from the past track record this shitstain of a staff.
