Straight love stories are like: we saw each other and thought they were hot, we kissed and now we’re in love
Queer love stories are like: “He is half of my soul as the poets say”, “I would've loved you if we had more time”, “He was a boy made of fire who'd been turned to frost. He was meant to burn”, “all the people are fake. Theyre made out of metal. But I like you… and that is not fake”, “Ismail Shah, did he forget the color of Isfahan's sky?”

The one thing I really liked in Class was the acknowledgement of Veer's violence being a factor which drove away Saba and to an extent also the others. Guzman in its Spanish counterpart has also his violent outbursts but it is never acknowledged that openly. Also I liked the subtle hints throughout the show how again class difference played such an imp role as in he could always escape the consequences of his violence whereas others could not. This is also the point I feel where instead of going with the track of a creep releasing videos of Suhani they could've gone slightly with a more blameless victim as in Elite. Because again I felt he was a tad bit justified in the beating and thus it makes a lesser sense that Saba is afraid of his violence when it was kinda justified?? Nevertheless I liked that his violent and entitled behaviour was addressed which I think Elite quite ignored.
