my experiences using clingfilm can be boiled down into:

does the sheet look like it'll be enough to cover your sandwich? its wont cover shit

does it look like a comically, hideously overkill amount of clingfilm to use for such a small item? it will be barely enough and there will be a tiny hole exposing it to the elements and when you eat that sandwich on your lunch break you will bite into the now chewy hard part and weep in despair at the cruelty of the universe
